Yes, There Is Hell, There Is Devil, There Is Karma

A direct response to modern materialism and skepticism. Samael affirms the concrete reality of hell (the atomic infernos of Nature), of the devil (the pluralized ego), and of karma (the law of cause and effect that governs all manifestation).

Chapter One: BY V.M. GARGHA KUICHINES

On the 17th of May of the present year, we traveled from San Salvador, Central America, to Mexico City, D.F., with my wife, Dilia Esther. Pleasant memories and beautiful impressions we received from those who in Mexico work in the great work of the Father.

When we affirm that with our Creative Energy (SEED), we create our existential or solar bodies, it is because we know how to transform those bodies that we have in fact into authentic vehicles of the Being.

Chapter Two: DESTRUCTION OF THE I-S OR UNDESIRABLES

The Master, at the end of chapter V, gives the formula to destroy the EGO and gives two formulas thus: through conscious work upon ourselves and within ourselves, here and now.

The Master, at the end of chapter V, gives the formula to destroy the EGO and gives two formulas thus: through conscious work upon ourselves and within ourselves, here and now.

Chapter Three: THE SUFFERING OF LUST

In chapter VI, the Master speaks of the suffering of the lustful. If any Gnostic student were to land in a prison of this world, he would realize how the lustful suffer.

In chapter VII we are taught that on exhausting the 108 lives we must submerge ourselves in the infernal worlds so that the ESSENCE may be liberated, and the Divine Spark, after eternities, may emerge from those dark dwellings.

The dialogue of which the Master speaks to us, in order to learn to hear the voice of the Father, of the Beloved, corresponds to the Biblical Teaching of the Ten Commandments of the Law of Moses; the practice of these commandments builds the foundation upon which the disciple stands.

Chapter Four: THE THREE LOGOI

To die is indispensable to crystallize the Third Logos (the Holy Spirit) through the transmutation of Sexual Energy. To crystallize the Second Logos, the Inner Christ, we must offer the sacrifice of the personal life upon the altar of humanity.

In this Work the Master speaks on the Law of Continuous Motion which the human Intellect has not been able to describe. He offers us the Teaching of the Archangel HARITON, where he explains the great mystery of the perpetual movement of the cosmos.

Good Works speak for the being who executes them; of good intentions nothing remains. Hell is the Matrix of Heaven. From rot is born the beautiful. Lucifer gives us the light when we know how to dominate him; ignored, he submerges us in the abyss.

Meditation without sleep damages the mind and ruins the brain. Meditation wisely combined with sleep converts itself into ecstasy.

The Divine Daemon is the reflection of the Logos in us. He is the Initiator in us; this igneous element possesses extraordinary powers. The Dragon is our psychological trainer.

History says that when Moses descended from Mount Sinai after having received the Commandments of the Law of God, the Israelites saw two rays of light upon his head in the manner of horns; these horns represent the development of the sacred fire that ascends to the brain.

It turns out interesting that the He-Goat is the symbol of the sexual force of man. For all those students and non-students who suffer from impotence, here goes the following formula: practice the Vajroli Mudra with constancy, transmute the sexual energy, never spill the cup of Hermes, and the lost potency will return.

We must not confuse the Devil with the I-s or Egos (the undesirables). Our Gnostic rituals say: ‘I believe in the Mystery of Baphomet’, that is to say, in the mystery of sex.

The cosmic Lucifer is the shadow of the Logos within us; the personal Lucifer is the trainer who delivers to us the temptations so that we may strengthen ourselves. Without temptation there is no triumph; without obstacle there is no victory.

This book contains the integral wisdom on the matter of Hell, the Devil, and Karma — three themes that humanity has misunderstood for centuries. The Master Samael Aun Weor delivers here the truth, naked and crude, but real.

Read it with attention, meditate upon it deeply, put it into practice; thus shall you arrive at the comprehension of the great mysteries of the Spirit and the matter, of the Light and the Darkness, of Life and Death.

To crystallize the Second Logos, the Inner Christ, we must offer the sacrifice of the personal life upon the altar of humanity.

Chapter Five: INVERENTIAL PEACE.

Chapter Six: HELL

Q. The Hell of fire and flames of which the Catholic religion speaks to us, in present times we can no longer admit but as a religious superstition, in accordance with the lights of modern science. What do you think of this, Master, you who have such a deep knowledge of esoteric philosophy?

A. Distinguished gentleman, permit me to inform you that any Hell of religious type is exclusively symbolic.

It is not out of place at these instants to remember the ‘Hell of Ice’ of the Nordics, the Chinese Hell with all its yellow tortures, the Buddhist Hell, the Mohammedan Hell, etc.

Unquestionably, these varied traditional Hells allegorize, in emphatic form, the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

Remember, good friend, that Dante found his ‘Infernus’ among the living entrails of the Earth. Read the Divine Comedy.

Q. Master, you speak to us of the ‘Submerged Mineral World’; nevertheless, all the perforations of the mining, petroleum, and other companies that have been practiced upon the planetary surface, have not encountered any inhabitant of those said worlds; on the contrary, only deposits of minerals, water, oil, etc.

A. Great friend, permit me to inform you that the Three-Dimensional World of Euclid is not all.

Ostensibly, above this world of three Dimensions (length, breadth, and height), there exist various Superior Dimensions. Obviously, in accordance with the Law of Contrasts, below the third dimension there exist various Infradimensions.

It is indubitable that the cited Hells of Dantesque type correspond to these Infradimensions.

Q. Pardon me, Master, that I insist, but in all the books that out of my concern I have scrutinized, I do not remember any writing or document that speaks to us of those Infradimensions, except in the Divine Comedy. Could there be some other source of information that proves the existence of such regions?

A. Distinguished gentleman, your question seems to me interesting; nevertheless, it suits to clarify that the International Gnostic Movement has systems, methods of direct experimentation, by means of which it is possible to verify by oneself the reality of the Infradimensions.

We can and must locate the Nine Dantesque Circles precisely beneath the epidermis of the Earth, within the interior of the planetary organism in which we live.

Obviously, the Nine cited Circles correspond, intelligently, with Nine Natural Infradimensions.

It turns out palmary and manifest that the ‘Nine Heavens’ of the Divine Comedy of Dante are Nine Dimensions of Superior type, intimately correlated with the Nine of Inferior type.

Whoever has at some time studied the Divine Comedy from the esoteric point of view cannot ignore the reality of the Infernal Worlds.

Q. Master, what basic difference is there between the Hells of Catholicism and those that the Gnostic Movement considers?

A. Good friend, the difference between the symbolic Hells of one religion and the other is what may exist between flag and flag of distinct nations. Each country allegorizes its existence with its own flag.

But Christian, Chinese, Buddhist Hells, etc., all of them at the bottom are nothing but distinct emblems that correspond to the crude realism of the Atomic Hells of the Mineral Kingdom.

Q. Why do people have ‘nightmares’, as we vulgarly say? What happens in this case — is it that they travel to those Infradimensional Worlds?

A. With the greatest pleasure I shall give response to this interesting question of the audience. I wish, ladies and gentlemen, that you understand what nightmares certainly are.

Occult Anatomy teaches that in the lower abdomen there exist seven Infernal Doors, seven Inhuman Chakras or Negative Vortices of sinister forces.

The case may occur that someone, undigested by some heavy meal, sets in activity through the disorder those Infernal Chakras. Then the Abysmal Doors open.

This is possible through the unfolding of the Personality. It is not difficult for the Ego to penetrate into the ‘Dwelling of Pluto’.

The monsters of nightmares really exist; they come originally from archaic times; they normally inhabit in the Infradimensions of the Submerged Mineral World.

Q. Does this mean to say, Venerable Master, that not only those who die without having ‘saved their Soul’ enter Hell?

A. It turns out patent, clear, and manifest that the living also penetrate into the Infernal Worlds, as the nightmares are demonstrating. Ostensibly, the human Infraconsciousness is in constant relation with those submerged regions.

Now the audience will understand the motive for which it is so easy to penetrate, at any hour, into the Nine Dantesque Circles.

Q. Dear Master, really I do not understand why you first tell us that the Infernal Worlds are found in the Infradimensions of the Earth, and afterward mention that those Atomic Abysses are found in our own infrahuman psyche. Are they not two distinct things?

A. Your question seems to me magnificent. Whoever wishes to discover the Laws of Nature must find them within himself. Whoever does not find within himself what he seeks, will not find it anywhere.

Q. Master, I have had nightmares where I have seen a world of darkness and many monsters; could it be that I have entered into those Infradimensional or Infernal Worlds?

A. Your question is sufficiently important. It is necessary that the audience understand that those Infradimensions are in the submerged depths of our nature. Obviously, I repeat, they correspond to the Infernal Atomic Regions of the planetary organism in which we live.

Rare are the persons who in their life have not made some visit to the ‘Kingdom of Pluto’. But it is good, ladies and gentlemen, that on studying this question, we think of the crude reality of those Submerged Worlds.

In no way must we take the religious allegories to the ‘dead letter’; let us seek ‘the Spirit that vivifies and that gives life’. The various Hells of the religions allegorize the crude reality of the Atomic Infernos of the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

Q. Master, I would like you to explain to me a little more about those Infernal Worlds, since within those nightmares that I have had, I have never seen light nor beautiful faces. Could you tell me something more concrete about the inhabitants and conditions of those regions?

A. With the greatest pleasure I shall give response to that question. The Infernal Darknesses are another mode of Light; they correspond certainly to the range of the infrared.

The inhabitants of such subterranean dominions perceive the diverse variants of color corresponding to that zone of the solar spectrum.

I wish that you, my friends, understand that all the colors that exist in the ultraviolet are also found in the infrared.

That there exists a yellow of the ultraviolet, that is something very notable; but in the infrared the yellow exists also, in different form. And thus also happens with the other colors.

Unquestionably, the inhabitants of the Submerged Mineral Kingdom find themselves too far away from the ‘Sacred Solar Absolute’, and for this reason they turn out, certainly, terribly malignant and evil.

Q. I conceive, Master, that in the Submerged Worlds of the Earth there exist all class of monsters, and that they inhabit there; but how is it possible that within myself, who am so small, all this can exist?

A. Good friend, permit me to tell you that any molecule of starch or of iron, copper, etc., is an entire Solar System in miniature. A disciple of Marconi imagined precisely the atom of starch as a microscopic solar system, with electrons turning around a nucleus.

Whoever does not discover in a simple molecule the movement of the planets around the Sun is certainly very far from understanding Astronomy.

Nothing is found unlinked in this Universe; in truth, there exists no effect without cause, nor cause without effect. Thus also, within each one of us there are forces and atoms that correspond perfectly with the great Universe; we are a microcosm within the Macrocosm.

It is good to know that in our organism there exist Psychic Centers that put us in relation with the Nine Superior Dimensions of the Cosmos, or with the Nine Inferior Dimensions.

I already said clearly that this Three-Dimensional World in which we live is not all, for above we have the Superior Dimensions, and below the Inferior.

Unquestionably, all these Celestial or Infernal Dimensions are related to the different zones of our own Psyche, and for this reason if we do not discover them within ourselves, we will not be able to verify them outside.

Q. Master, you mention frequently the word ‘Atomic Abysses’. Why Atomic?

A. This question seems to me extraordinary, and with the greatest pleasure I am going to give response. Above all, I wish you to know that every atom is a trio of Matter, Energy, and Consciousness.

Let us think for a moment of the ‘Atomic Intelligences’; obviously, there are Solar and Lunar; there also exist ‘Malignant Atomic Intelligences’, terribly perverse.

Each one of those Atoms that the Infernal Worlds constitute has within itself a perverse Intelligence, an Ego, an I, with all its passions, lusts, hatreds, envies, vanities.

It is for this reason that the Infernal Worlds are called Atomic: because they are constituted by the totality of the malignant atoms of the Mineral Kingdom, atoms that gravitate within the bowels of the Earth.

Q. Maestro, those Atomic Intelligences are the same Demons or Devils of which the religions speak?

A. With perfect clarity I respond: yes, those Atomic Intelligences are the Demons of which the religions speak. They are the Fallen Angels, the inhabitants of the abyss, the lords of darkness who labor against the Light of the Cosmic Christ.

Q. Then, Master, is it possible to liberate oneself from the Infernal Worlds, or, once one has fallen into them, is one condemned eternally?

A. Liberation is possible, dear friend. The Infernal Worlds are not eternal in the sense of perpetual condemnation; what is eternal is the process by which the Ego must be reduced to cosmic dust, and that process can be brief or long according to the work of each one.

At the end of the process, the Essence is liberated, returns to its origin, and begins again the evolutive process from the mineral up to humanoid, to receive once more the opportunity of self-realization.

For this reason, my dear friends, the doctrine that we deliver is a doctrine of hope: there is no eternal condemnation; there is process, there is purification, there is final liberation. But the path of voluntary work, of the dissolution of the Ego in this life, is infinitely shorter and less painful.

Whoever in this life dies in himself, whoever dissolves the Ego through conscious works and voluntary sufferings, will not have to descend into the Infernal Worlds; he will skip that painful process and will rise directly to the Superior Worlds.

For this reason we Gnostics teach the doctrine of voluntary death, the doctrine of the Razor’s Edge, the doctrine of the integral Revolution of consciousness. Whoever applies himself triumphs; whoever does not apply himself shall descend, by force, into the abyss.

This invitation we make to all humanity: awaken, work upon yourselves, dissolve the Ego, before the cosmic Laws oblige you to do it in the Mineral Kingdom.

The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time of decision has arrived for each soul.

Pardon me, Master, that I insist, but in all the books that out of my concern I have scrutinized, I do not remember any writing or document that speaks to us of those Infradimensions, except in the Divine Comedy.

Chapter Seven: THE THREE ASPECTS OF THE INTERIOR OF THE EARTH

Q. Master, from what you have set forth previously, are we to understand that beneath the interior layers of the Earth there exist only Infradimensions, since the Supra-dimensions, that is, the heavens, exist only outside, in the cosmos?

A. Distinguished sir, your question seems to me certainly interesting, and I hasten to respond to you.

It is good that all of you understand that this planetary organism in which we live has in its interior three clearly defined aspects:

  • Mineral Region (merely physical).

  • Supra-dimensional Zone.

  • Infra-dimensional Zone.

Q. Accepting that in the interior of the Earth there exist these three aspects of which you speak (and in my case I accept it hypothetically, I clarify), we would have to arrive at the conclusion that the heavens or paradises that the religions speak of are within the Earth?

A. Esteemed gentleman, it is urgent to comprehend, in integral form, that all in Nature and in the Cosmos sums up to additions and subtractions of dimensions, which penetrate and compenetrate without confusion.

There exists a hermetic postulate that says: ‘As it is above, it is below’. Apply this postulate to the matter in question.

It is ostensible that the Nine Heavens have, within the interior of our planetary organism, their correlations according to the Law of Correspondences and Analogies.

These Nine Heavens, within the interior of the planetary organism in which we live, correlate intelligently with the Nine Profound Zones of planet Earth.

But I have still not explained the question in depth; what really happens is that these Nine Heavens have an Atomic Center of Gravitation, located exactly at the center of our planet, and from there they extend outward and inward.

In another form I wish to tell you, and to tell all of you, ladies and gentlemen, that the Nine Heavens gravitate in the Central Atom of planet Earth, extending much beyond the planet, throughout the cosmos.

Q. This exposition, Venerable Master, seems to me very beautiful and fits perfectly in the gaps of my understanding; but I must declare that in accordance with the precepts of formal logic, it costs me to accept that the Heavens are within the Earth.

A. Esteemed gentleman, your question is troubling. Unquestionably, Formal Logic leads us to error. It is not through such logic that we can arrive at the experience of the real.

The interesting thing of all this is that the data enunciated by some Adepts and others are similar, despite such men dwelling in distinct places of the Earth.

Q. Then do you wish to tell us, Master, that only a certain and very reduced number of Adepts (who have by fate had those Cognoscitive Powers) are able to verify these matters by themselves?

A. In the terrain of Direct Experimentation, in the field of practical Metaphysics, there exists diversity of subjects with Psychic Faculties more or less developed.

It is obvious that there are disciples and Masters. The first can give us informations more or less incipient; the second, the Adepts or Masters, dispose of Faculties immensely developed.

Q. If you, Master, have taught us to corroborate by our own experience what the Adepts and Illumined ones affirm, is there then the possibility that we, the profane, may also one day arrive at the direct experimentation of these things?

A. Esteemed sir, it is obvious that Direct Experimentation in the terrain of Metaphysics is only accessible to subjects who have developed the Faculties latent in man.

Indubitably, I do not wish to say with this that the mentioned nightmares permit the complete verification of the crude realism of the Infradimensions of Nature.

Whoever really wishes to live that which is below the Three-Dimensional World of Euclid must develop certain Faculties and very special Psychic Powers.

Q. Is it possible that all of us can develop those faculties?

A. Distinguished gentleman, I wish to inform you that the International Gnostic Movement possesses methods and systems by means of which every human being can develop, in conscious form, his latent Psychic Faculties.

Q. Master, could you tell us what we should understand about the Devil dwelling in some Hells that have flames of fire and a tremendous smell of sulfur, where the souls that did not save themselves in life are punished?

A. I am going to give response to the gentleman’s question.

Unquestionably, in the Submerged Regions of the Mineral Kingdom, beneath the very epidermis of planet Earth, there exist diverse zones. Let us remember for an instant the Igneous Zone: it is real, the inhabitants of that region live among flames of fire that do not consume but which torment.

On thinking of the concept of ‘demon’ or ‘demons’, let us also reflect on lost Souls; this is truly interesting.

Many inhabitants of the Infernal Worlds dwell in the Region of Fire, but others live in the Aerial Regions, and finally inhabit the Aquatic Regions and the Mineral Zones.

It is obvious that the inhabitants of the terrestrial interior find themselves very related with sulfur, since this is an integral part of volcanoes; but it is evident that in symbolic form, the sulfur represents the lustful passions that consume those poor souls.

Q. Could you tell me, Master, why, the region of the lower abdomen being that of the Infernal Worlds, it is located in the region of the ‘Silver Cord’? Does this mean to say that the Silver Cord connects us to the abyss?

A. Honorable sir, I wish to respond to you with perfect clarity. Much has been said about the ‘Silver Cord’; it is indubitable that every Soul is connected to the Physical Body by means of that Cord.

Diverse authors emphasize the idea that seven of these branches derived from the ‘Silver Cord’ are found connected with seven specific Centers of the human organism.

In any case, that ‘Thread of Life’, that ‘Cord’ of which you speak to us, very base of your question, in no way is connected to the ‘Seven Chakras’ of the lower abdomen.

Q. Master, could you amplify this that you have just said, with respect to the ‘Seven Chakras’ being found in the lower abdomen? Since we have been told in other conferences that the seven chakras are along the spinal column.

A. Honorable gentleman, I have heard your question and I hasten to respond to you with the greatest pleasure.

I see that you, sir, have confused the ‘Seven Chakras’ of the lower abdomen with the ‘Seven Churches’ of the Apocalypse of Saint John, situated in the Spinal Column.

Indubitably, at no part of the talk that this night we are developing here in the city of Mexico, D.F., have I made any allusion to such ‘Magnetic Centers’ or ‘Vortices’.

We have only cited, mentioned, the ‘Seven Infernal Doors’ of which the religion of Mohammed speaks, the Seven Specific Centers or ‘Chakras’ located in the lower abdomen and related with the Infernal Worlds.

Q. From all the foregoing, can we infer, Venerable Master, that the physical aspect of the center of the Earth belongs to the Three-Dimensional World, and that the Supra-dimensional and Infradimensional aspects belong to the Superior and Inferior Dimensions of our universe?

A. Distinguished gentleman, I wish to inform you, and in general to all this audience that listens to me, that our five senses only perceive the Tridimensional aspects of nature and the cosmos.

It is obvious that the Subterranean Regions of our world reveal three fundamental aspects. Nevertheless, the ordinary senses only perceive in superficial form the Physical; the Supradimensional and the Infradimensional escape the ordinary perception.

If we wish to know the Superior and Inferior Dimensions of the interior of the Earth, we must develop other Faculties of Perception that are found latent in the human race.

Q. Dear Master, are we to understand that both in the Supra-dimensions and in the Infradimensions there inhabit living beings?

A. My friends, unquestionably the three Zones of the interior of our world are inhabited. If in the Infradimensions live the lost Souls, in the Supra-dimensions of the planet there inhabit the divine beings, the saints, the masters of the White Lodge.

There exist great esoteric sanctuaries in the bowels of the Earth, in the Supra-dimensional zones, where the Hierarchs of the White Lodge gather to celebrate their sacred ceremonies and to direct the destiny of humanity.

There also exist the temples of the Inner Earth, where the Patriarchs of all the ages have congregated, the great Initiates of all the times. From there is directed the spiritual destiny of our planet.

For this reason, dear friends, the interior of the Earth is not only a place of darkness and torment, but also of light and glory. Within our planet there is hell, but there is also paradise; there are the abominations of Pluto, but there are also the marvels of the Sacred Heart of the Earth.

This duality reflects the duality of our own psyche: within us there is the I-Demon, but there is also the Inner Being; there is the abyss of the ego, but there is also the heaven of the divine spark.

For this reason the hermetic axiom is fulfilled: ‘As it is within, so it is without; as it is above, so it is below’. The interior of the Earth reflects the interior of our soul; the Infradimensions are the abyss of the ego; the Supra-dimensions are the heaven of the Being.

He who descends into the depths of the Earth in his spiritual investigations descends also into the depths of his own psyche; he who ascends to the heights also ascends within his own being.

For this reason all the great mystics have been Earthly mystics: those who descend to the abyss to liberate the imprisoned essences, and those who ascend to the heights to receive the cosmic illumination.

Whoever wishes to know these mysteries directly must develop his spiritual faculties through the practice of Gnostic esotericism: meditation, transmutation, astral projection, dissolution of the I.

With these keys, the doors of the heavens and of the hells open to him; with these keys, he becomes himself an explorer of the cosmos, a knower of the great mysteries, a true Master of wisdom.

This duality reflects the duality of our own psyche: within us there is the I-Demon, but there is also the Inner Being; there is the abyss of the ego, but there is also the heaven of the divine spark.

Chapter Eight: THE SEVEN COSMOSES

Well, friends, we are here gathered again with the purpose of studying the ‘Ray of Creation’.

It is urgent, indispensable, unpostponable, to know in clear and precise form the place that we occupy in the ‘very vivid Ray of Creation’.

Above all, esteemed gentlemen, distinguished ladies, I beg you fervently to follow my discourse with infinite patience.

I wish you to know that there exist Seven Cosmoses, to wit:

  • PROTOCOSMOS.

  • AYOCOSMOS.

  • MACROCOSMOS.

  • DEUTEROCOSMOS.

  • MESOCOSMOS.

  • MICROCOSMOS.

  • TRITOCOSMOS.

Unquestionably, the First is formed by multiple SPIRITUAL, Transcendental, Divinal SUNS.

Much has been spoken on the Sacred Solar Absolute, and it is obvious that every Solar System is governed by one of those Spiritual Suns. This means to say that our play of worlds is governed by a Solar Logos.

The Second Order of worlds is formed, really, with all the millions of SUNS and PLANETS that travel through space.

The Third Game of worlds is formed by our GALAXY, by this great ‘MILKY WAY’, which has as cosmic central capital the ‘Sun Sirius’.

The Fourth Order is represented by our ‘SOLAR SYSTEM OF ORS’.

The Fifth Order corresponds to PLANET EARTH.

The Sixth Order is the MICROCOSMOS MAN.

The Seventh Order is in the INFERNAL WORLDS.

Let us amplify a little more this explanation. I wish that you, ladies and gentlemen, understand with full clarity what the first order of worlds really is: extraordinary Spiritual Suns that orient and direct the cosmos.

Think now of what the billions and trillions of worlds and stars that populate endless space are. Recall now the galaxies: any of these, taken separately, with all its millions of stars, constitutes a Macrocosm.

What shall we say of the DEUTEROCOSMOS? Unquestionably, every Solar System, no matter the Galaxy to which it belongs, whether of matter or of antimatter, obviously is a Deuterocosmos.

Earths of space are as numerous as the sands of the immense sea. Indubitably, any of these, every planet, no matter its Center of Cosmic Gravitation, is a Mesocosmos.

Much has been said on the Microcosmos-Man. We emphasize the transcendental idea that each one of us is an authentic and legitimate MICROCOSMOS. Nevertheless, we are not the only Microcosmos.

Finally, it suits to know that within every planet there exists the Submerged Mineral Kingdom with its own Atomic Hells. These latter are always found located within the interior of every planet, and they constitute the TRITOCOSMOS.

Let it be understood then, ladies and gentlemen, that the first order of worlds is completely different from the second, and that each cosmos is absolutely unequal, radically distinct.

  • The First Order of worlds is infinitely Divinal, ineffable. There exists in it no mechanical principle; it is governed by the One Law.

  • The Second Order is unquestionably controlled by the 3 Primary Forces that regulate and direct all Cosmic Creation.

  • The Third Order of worlds, our Galaxy, any Galaxy of sacred space, is indubitable that it is controlled by 6 Laws.

  • The Fourth Order of worlds, our Solar System, or any Solar System of infinite space, is always controlled by 12 Laws.

  • The Fifth Order, our Earth, or any Planet similar to ours, turning around any Sun, is absolutely controlled by 24 Laws.

  • The Sixth cosmic Order, any Human Organism, is definitively controlled by 48 Laws — and this we see totally verified in the human germinal cell constituted by 48 chromosomes.

  • Finally, the Seventh Order of worlds is under the total control of 96 Laws.

I wish you to know, in precise form, that the number of laws in the Abysmal Regions multiplies scandalously.

It is ostensible that the First Dantesque Circle is always under the control of 96 Laws; but in the Second this quantity doubles, giving 192 Laws; in the Third triples; in the Fourth quadruples; and so successively until the Ninth Circle, which is under the control of an immense number of laws.

If you reflect profoundly upon the First Cosmos, you will see that there exists the most full liberty, the most absolute happiness, because all is governed by the One Law.

In the Second Cosmos there still exists full bliss, owing to its being completely controlled by the 3 Primary Laws of all Creation.

But in the Third Cosmos there now introduces itself a mechanical element, because these 3 Primitive Divinal Laws, dividing themselves into themselves, convert themselves into 6. Obviously, in this Cosmos a certain mechanicity already exists, although still very small.

See you what a Solar System is. It is clear that in it, the 6 Laws have already divided again to convert themselves into 12, augmenting the mechanicity, the automatism, the complication.

Let us concretize now to any Planet of the infinite, and very specially in our terrestrial world. Obviously, it is more heterogeneous and complicated, owing to the 12 Laws of the Solar System having divided again to convert themselves into 24.

Let us look now frankly at the Microcosmos-Man; let us examine the germinal cell, and we will find the 48 chromosomes, living representation of the 48 Laws that control all our body.

Obviously, on dividing these 48 Laws into themselves, and through themselves, they originate the 96 of the First Dantesque Circle.

I wish then that you, ladies and gentlemen, comprehend the place that we occupy in the ‘Ray of Creation’.

Someone said that ‘Hell’ comes from the word ‘Infernus’, which in Latin means ‘Inferior Region’. Thus he emphasized the idea that the place that we occupy in the Three-Dimensional Region is the Infernus.

Unfortunately, he who made such an unheard-of affirmation did not really know the ‘Ray of Creation’. If he had had greater information, if he had studied the Seven Cosmoses, he would have realized that the true Infernus is in the Tritocosmos, that is, in the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

Q. Venerable Master, after hearing with all attention and patience the scientific exposition on the ‘Ray of Creation’, we have observed that on referring to the First Order, you emphasized the idea of the One Law as governing it. Could you amplify this concept?

A. With the greatest pleasure I shall give response to the question of the gentleman. Distinguished ladies and gentlemen: it is indispensable to comprehend that at a greater number of laws, greater degree of complexity, mechanicity, and materiality.

Unquestionably, in the ‘Sacred Solar Absolute’, in the ‘Spiritual Central Sun’ of this system in which we live, we move, and have our Being, there exists no mechanicity of any kind; all is liberty, all is happiness, all is light.

The One Law that governs the First Cosmos is the Law of Love, the Law of Liberty, the Law of Divine Will. There the souls that have arrived at the goal live in eternal beatitude, in conscious union with the Father.

As we descend through the Cosmoses, the laws multiply, the mechanicity increases, the liberty diminishes; until arriving at the Submerged Mineral Kingdom, where the laws are so numerous that any kind of conscious action is practically impossible.

For this reason the work of self-realization consists in ascending from the Sixth Cosmos (man with 48 laws) toward the higher Cosmoses, freeing ourselves progressively from the multiple laws that imprison us.

To die in oneself, to dissolve the I, is precisely to free oneself from the laws that govern the Sixth Cosmos and to ascend toward the Fifth, then to the Fourth, the Third, the Second, until arriving at the First.

Each step on this path of ascent is an initiation, each elimination of the I-s a liberation, each fusion with the Being a step closer to the goal.

This is the cosmic path of the Gnostic Initiate: from the multiplicity of laws to the unity of the Law, from mechanicity to liberty, from sleep to awakening, from the human larva to the Solar Man.

I invite you, dear friends, to reflect upon these teachings and to understand the place that we occupy in the Ray of Creation. Only when we know where we are can we know where we go; only when we comprehend the cosmic geography can we orient our spiritual journey.

The hour has arrived to awaken, to work upon ourselves, to ascend through the Cosmoses toward the goal. The path is long, but each step is worth the effort; the goal is the union with the Father, the return to the Sacred Solar Absolute.

This is the cosmic path of the Gnostic Initiate: from the multiplicity of laws to the unity of the Law, from mechanicity to liberty, from sleep to awakening, from the human larva to the Solar Man.

Chapter Nine: MONADS AND ESSENCES

Dear friends:

Again we are gathered here, in this place, to converse carefully on the distinct causes that lead the ‘Intellectual Humanoids’ along the path of involution and of the descent into the abyss.

Unquestionably, millions of involutive, descendant creatures are at these instants crossing the Acheron to enter the Avernus.

Waves of Humanoids, after completing the cycle of existences in the Three-Dimensional Physical World of Euclid, cease taking human bodies in order to submerge themselves in the Atomic Infernos of the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

Certainly, the evil of the world, however monstrous it may be, has a dike, a defined limit.

What would become of the Universe if there did not exist an insurmountable obstacle to evil?

Obviously, the latter would develop infinitely until reigning sovereign in all the Spheres.

It is well to emphasize here, with entire meridian clarity, the tremendous reality of the 108 existences that are assigned to every living Essence, to every Animic Principle.

This comes to remind us of the 108 beads of the Buddha’s rosary, and the 108 turns that the Hindu Brahmin makes around the Sacred Cow. It is indubitable that those traditional ceremonies are symbolic of the maximum number of lives that we have.

All this understood, we can proceed: it is obvious that the Divine Mother Kundalini, the ‘Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers’, tries to achieve our Intimate Self-Realization through those 108 existences.

It turns out palmary and evident that not all human beings wish to tread the path that must lead them to the Final Liberation.

The different Messengers who come from on high — Prophets, Avataras, Great Apostles — have always wished to indicate to us with exact precision the rocky path that leads to liberation.

Unfortunately, the people want nothing with Divine Wisdom; they have imprisoned the Masters, they have assassinated the Avataras, they have bathed themselves with the blood of the Saints, they have crucified the Christs, they have mocked the Apostles.

Nevertheless, all like Pilate wash their hands; they believe themselves saints, they suppose that they march along the Path of Perfection.

We cannot deny the conclusive and definitive fact that there exist millions of sincere mistaken ones, who very honestly presume themselves virtuous and think of themselves as just ones.

In Tartarus there live Anchorites of every species, mistaken mystics, sublime fakirs, priests of many cults, penitents of every species, who accepted everything but who did not wish to die in themselves nor to walk the path of the Sacred Sex.

With just reason the Great Kabir Jesus said: ‘Of a thousand who seek me, one finds me; of a thousand who find me, one follows me; of a thousand who follow me, one is mine.’

The Bhagavad-Gita says textually the following: ‘Among thousands of men, perhaps one tries to arrive at perfection; among those who try, possibly one knows me really and arrives at me.’

Jesus, the Great Kabir, places emphasis on the difficulty of entering the Kingdom: ‘Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the Kingdom of Heaven against men; you neither enter yourselves nor permit those who would enter to enter.’

Referring to so many false apostles who go around founding diverse sects that would never lead to the Final Liberation, the Great Kabir Jesus says: ‘Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twice more a son of hell than yourselves.’

The grave thing, distinguished friends, noble brothers, respectable ladies, is that those who are lost, the sincere mistaken ones, always think that they go very well. They believe themselves to be on the path of liberation, but they are on the path of perdition.

How to make the people understand that they go wrong? How to make them understand that the road that leads to the Abyss is paved with good intentions? In what form?

It is unquestionable that no one thinks of his sect the worst. All are convinced by the words of the blind, guides of the blind.

Certainly, and in the name of truth, we must say with great frankness, that only by Awakening Consciousness shall we be able to see the Path, narrow, strait, and difficult, that leads to the Light.

How could those who sleep see the Path? Could the mind perchance discover the Truth?

It is written with golden words in the Great Book of Universal Life that the mind cannot recognize what it has never known.

Do you believe perchance that the mind has at some time known that which is the Real, the Truth?

It is ostensible that the understanding goes from the known to the unknown; it moves within a vicious circle, and it happens that the Truth is the unknown from instant to instant.

I beg you, dear brothers, noble friends, distinguished ladies, that you reflect a little.

Unquestionably, every human being possesses an Essence, a fragment of soul that descends from above to incarnate in the physical body. That Essence is what we Gnostics call the embryo of soul, the Buddhata.

This Essence is what suffers in us, what cries, what longs for the truth. It is bottled up among the various I-s that constitute the Ego, and from there it tries to escape, to liberate itself.

The MONAD is the spiritual root of the Essence; it is the Divine Spark that descends to the world to create souls, to gain experience, to integrate itself with itself through the work of self-realization.

In the Sacred Solar Absolute, the Monads emanate from the Spiritual Sun; they descend into the worlds to gain experience and to integrate themselves with the Real Being.

Each Monad sends to the world a portion of itself, the Essence, which incarnates in physical bodies through the process of evolution and of return.

The 108 existences that are assigned to every Essence are the opportunity that the Divine Mother gives to each soul to self-realize itself, to liberate itself, to integrate itself with its Monad.

If during those 108 existences the Essence does not awaken, does not work upon itself, does not dissolve the Ego, then at the end of the 108th existence comes the descent into the Infernal Worlds.

There, in the Atomic Infernos, the Ego is disintegrated, reduced to cosmic dust, and the Essence, freed of its bonds, returns to the Monad, ready to begin a new cycle of evolutions.

This is the merciful Law of the Cosmos: there is no eternal condemnation; there is process, there is purification, there is final liberation. But that process can be brief or long according to the work of each one.

Whoever works upon himself, whoever dissolves the Ego, whoever creates the existential bodies of the Being, whoever incarnates his Real Being — that one does not have to descend into the abyss; that one rises directly to the Superior Worlds.

Whoever does not work, whoever lives identified with his ego, whoever wastes his sexual energy in fornication, whoever loses his life in the pursuit of mundane pleasures — that one must descend, by force of the laws, into the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

For this reason, dear friends, the doctrine that we deliver is a doctrine of practical revolution: it is not enough to believe; one must work. It is not enough to know; one must apply. It is not enough to have good intentions; one must transform them into facts.

The path is hard, the work is bitter, the obstacles are many; but the goal is supreme: the union of the Essence with the Monad, the integration of the soul with the Spirit, the realization of the Being.

All those who have arrived have walked the same path; all those who have liberated themselves have used the same keys. There is no other path, there is no other way; whoever wishes to liberate himself must die in himself.

To die in oneself is the great mystery; it is the secret of secrets; it is the key of keys. Whoever comprehends this and applies it shall arrive; whoever does not comprehend it or does not apply it shall perish in the abyss.

The Divine Mother Kundalini waits with infinite patience for each one of her children to awaken to the truth. She is the Cosmic Mother who never abandons us, who follows us through all the existences, who gives us every opportunity.

But there comes a moment in which the patience of the Mother runs out, in which the cycle closes, in which the descent begins. Therefore, dear friends, let us not lose time; let us awaken now; let us work now.

The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time has come for the dissolution of the Ego, for the creation of the existential bodies of the Being, for the intimate Self-Realization.

I invite all of you to reflect upon these teachings and to put them into practice with all the soul. The cosmic laws do not wait; they fulfill themselves inexorably. Let us make of our life a path of liberation, before the laws oblige us to walk the path of the abyss.

Certainly, and in the name of truth, we must say with great frankness, that only by Awakening Consciousness shall we be able to see the Path, narrow, strait, and difficult, that leads to the Light.

Chapter Ten: FIRST INFERNAL CIRCLE OR OF THE MOON

My friends:

Today gathered here again, we are going to study the First Dantesque Circle of the Infernal Worlds.

It is indubitable that this First Submerged Region corresponds to the ‘LIMBUS’, the ‘Orcus’ of the classics cited by Virgil, the poet of Mantua.

It has been said to us, with entire meridian clarity, that such a mineral zone is vividly represented by all the CAVERNS OF THE WORLD, which united astrally form the first plane of the Avernus.

Says Dante, the old Florentine, that in such a region ‘he found all those INNOCENTS WHO DIED WITHOUT HAVING RECEIVED THE WATERS OF BAPTISM’ (it must be understood here that baptism is the symbol of initiation, of the transmutation of the sexual waters).

If we carefully study the Ramayana, the sacred book of the Hindus, with mystical astonishment we can evidence the conclusive and definitive fact that in ancient times all the initiates were baptized.

In the Ramayana we can verify the unusual case of Rama, who certainly was baptized by his Guru.

Unquestionably, no one received in ancient times the baptismal water without having been first fully instructed on the Mysteries of Sex. The Sacrament of Baptism is therefore intimately related with the Mysteries of the Holy Sex.

It turns out extraordinary that upon entering any School of Mysteries, the first thing one received was the Sacrament of Baptism.

It is indispensable, it is urgent, to transmute the ‘Pure Waters of Life’ into the ‘Wine of Light’ of the Alchemist. Only thus is it possible to achieve the Intimate Self-Realization of the Being.

In the ‘Orcus’ of the classics, in the Limbo, we find many illustrious men who died without having received the ‘waters of baptism’.

Sincere mistaken ones, full of magnificent intentions, but mistaken; people who believed possible the Liberation without need of Sexual Magic.

Thus, in the First Sub-Lunar Region, beneath the epidermis of this planet in which we live, the DEPARTED dwell cold and sepulchral.

One feels true sadness, supreme pain, on contemplating so many millions of disincarnated ones wandering with Consciousness asleep in the Region of the Dead.

Behold them there, as cold shadows, with Consciousness profoundly asleep, like specters of the night!

The shadows of the dead come and go everywhere in the First Dantesque Circle; they occupy themselves in the same activities of the life that passed; they dream with the same things that they dreamed of in physical life.

Q. You have explained to us, Master, that in the First Subterranean Sub-Lunar Region, called ‘Limbo’, dwell the Souls of those who have not been baptized; among them, then, are also those who have died without religion?

A. Distinguished friend, your question turns out sufficiently interesting, and I hasten to respond to you.

I wish you to understand that the First Submerged Region is like the antechamber of Hell; obviously there live the shadows of our dear beings, while they receive a new physical body to return to life.

There are few those Essences, those Souls, that after death really achieve ‘vacations’ in the Superior Worlds.

It is indubitable that the greater part of human beings return immediately to a new human organism, passing a season in the Limbo before reincorporating themselves in a new fetus.

Nevertheless, owing to the critical state in which we currently live, innumerable deceased submerge themselves definitively in the Infernal Worlds, passing through the Submerged Spheres of the Mineral Kingdom.

The last of these regions is definitive. There the lost ones pass through the Final Disintegration, the indispensable Second Death. Thanks to this frightful annihilation, the Essence is freed, and ascends again toward the Light.

Q. How must it be understood, Venerable Master, what in the language of the Roman Church is said: ‘That into the Limbo enter the innocent children’?

A. Distinguished friend, this of ‘the innocent children’ must be understood in symbolic, allegorical form.

Interpret the word ‘innocent’, not in its pristine original form, but as ‘radical ignorance’. Certainly, the one who is ignorant of the Mysteries of Sex, is an innocent in the sense of ignoring the great mysteries.

Remember that there are many ‘illustrated ignorant ones’ who not only are ignorant, but moreover ignore that they are ignorant. Understood?

Q. Master, do you mean to say that the person who has not fabricated his Solar Bodies has not been baptized?

A. Distinguished young man, your question pleases me; it gives us a basis for a beautiful explanation.

Truly baptized is only the one who has worked in the Forge of the Cyclops, in the Sacred Sex; baptism is not merely the ceremony of pouring water on the head, but the integral spiritual work that the candidate to initiation undertakes.

The person who has not worked in the Maithuna, who has not transmuted his sexual energy, who has not awakened the Kundalini, who has not created the Solar Bodies — that person, although he has received the ceremony of physical baptism, has not really been baptized in the esoteric sense.

For this reason, the great majority of the persons who have died without working upon themselves are found in the Limbo, awaiting the opportunity of returning to physical life to continue the cycle of opportunities that the Divine Mother gives them.

Q. Master, what kind of beings inhabit the Limbo? Are they all dead, or also living?

A. In the Limbo dwell mainly the disincarnated who are in the period between two lives; but the living can also enter there through nightmares, through unconscious astral projections, through dreams.

In addition, in the Limbo dwell certain beings called ‘gnomes’, innocent creatures of nature that work in the bowels of the earth, in the caverns; they are not lost souls, but living beings proper to those regions.

These gnomes are not negative beings; on the contrary, they are at the service of the divine forces of nature. They work in the formation of minerals, of precious stones, of metals; they are the laborers of the Sacred Mother in the Mineral Kingdom.

Q. Master, is it possible to go consciously to the Limbo to investigate?

A. Of course it is possible. The Initiate who has developed the faculty of conscious astral projection can travel to the Limbo and verify by himself the realities that we are speaking of. He can converse with the shadows of the dead, can investigate their states, can know the laws that govern that region.

Such investigations are part of the practical work of the Gnostic Initiate. He who limits himself to reading the books without practicing learns very little; he who practices, who investigates by himself, who experiences directly, that one truly learns.

Q. Master, how can a sleeping person rise from there once he is sunk in the Limbo?

A. The path of return from the Limbo passes through the recovery of the disposition to incarnate again in a physical body. When the Lords of Karma judge that the moment has arrived, they send the Essence back to a new mother, and there it begins a new existence.

In this new existence, the Essence has the opportunity of working upon itself, of awakening, of dissolving the Ego. If it takes advantage of the opportunity, it ascends; if it does not take advantage of it, it returns to the Limbo, and so successively, until exhausting the 108 existences.

Q. Master, are the children who die before being baptized, in the Limbo, condemned eternally to remain there?

A. No, dear friend; the doctrine of eternal condemnation is a misinterpretation of the Catholic Church. No one is condemned eternally; all souls have the opportunity of liberation.

The children who die without baptism — meaning, without spiritual work — return to physical life in new existences, and have all the opportunities to self-realize themselves.

Of course, the children who die very young, before being able to take spiritual decisions, do not have karma to pay for their childhood; they simply return to physical life to continue their evolutive process.

Q. Master, what is the difference between the Limbo and the other Circles of Hell?

A. The Limbo is a region of relative tranquility, although gray and sad; there are not the terrible tortures of the lower Circles. The shadows of the dead live there in a dreamy state, without major sufferings, but also without any spiritual progress.

As we descend through the Circles, the conditions become more painful, more difficult, more dense. In the Second Circle, in that of Mercury, the lustful ones suffer the fury of the passional winds; in the Third, in that of Venus, the gluttons and drunkards suffer the icy rains and the putrefactions.

And so successively, until the Ninth Circle, where the disintegration of the Ego is consummated in the most painful sufferings.

Q. Master, can a soul that has descended to the Limbo come out of there to rise?

A. Yes, of course. Many souls, after passing a time in the Limbo, return to physical life with the firm purpose of working upon themselves. Those who take advantage of the new opportunity ascend; those who do not take advantage of it descend in the next round.

The cosmic Mother gives to each soul all the opportunities that she can; she never abandons her children; she always sends them back to the world with new opportunities. But the souls must do their part: must work, must awaken, must dissolve the Ego.

Q. Master, when you say that there exist 108 existences, does it mean to say that we have only that opportunity?

A. The number 108 is symbolic of the maximum number of opportunities that the Cosmic Mother gives us in this cycle. After the 108th existence, if the soul has not self-realized, comes the descent into the Infernal Worlds.

But this is not an absolute number; in some cases the cycle can be longer or shorter according to the particular karmic conditions of each soul. Nevertheless, the principle is the same: there exists a limit to the opportunities, and that limit is reached at some moment.

For this reason, dear friends, do not waste your existence; each one of you may already be in your 100th or 105th existence, and you do not know it. Therefore work, awaken, dissolve the Ego, before the cycle closes for you.

The cosmic Mother loves us with infinite love, but the laws of the universe are inexorable. Let us not abuse the patience of the Mother; let us take advantage of the opportunity that we have now to self-realize.

This is the message that I bring to you, dear friends; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice. The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time has come to awaken.

If we carefully study the Ramayana, the sacred book of the Hindus, with mystical astonishment we can evidence the conclusive and definitive fact that in ancient times all the initiates were baptized.

Chapter Eleven: SECOND INFERNAL CIRCLE OR OF MERCURY

My friends:

We are going to study now, carefully, the Second Dantesque Circle. I wish to refer, in emphatic form, to the negative aspect (or rather submerged) of the Mercurian Heaven.

We are not going to speak on the Heaven of Mercury. I repeat: it is indispensable that we investigate a little of what is related strictly to the antithesis of that brilliant Mercurian Heaven, that is to say, the Infernal Sphere of Mercury.

When we penetrate into the interior of the Earth with the Astral Body, we can perfectly verify, by ourselves, and in direct form, what the MERCURIAN HELL is.

On penetrating into this submerged region, we feel in the depth of our Soul the perpetual bubbling of those NEGATIVE PASSIONAL FORCES, which flow and reflow incessantly.

It is not out of place to say that there we feel the hurricane wind of Mercury, a certain fatal aerial element. Such a subterranean zone is the place where the irredeemable FORNICATORS dwell.

Those unhappy creatures of the Buried World, sunken in vice, desperately go and come here, there, and yonder. One remains astonished on seeing those souls who, having had the opportunity of self-realizing, lost everything for the lust.

Such ‘Egos’ incessantly blaspheme and hate to the death everything that has the savor of Chastity.

There we find Empress Semiramis, terrible fornicator who established in her country laws that favored animal passions.

In that Dwelling of Pluto we also find Queen Dido, who killed herself for passion, after having sworn fidelity to the ashes of Sychaeus. There Paris, who carried off Helen, has his place; there are all those who lost themselves for the lust.

Tartarus of the misfortunes, Abysses of iniquity, terror, horrors!

With profound pain we can find in the Second Dantesque Circle the FALLEN BODHISATTVAS, those who assassinated the God Mercury, unhappy Souls who ‘exchanged the Scepter of Power for the spindle of Omphale’.

What pain we feel in the depth of our Consciousness on discovering in those Mercurian Abysses the Fallen Angels, cited by the ancient religious theogonies!

They go and come, through those black airs of the submerged region, those who ‘exchanged the Scepter of Power for the spindle of Omphale’.

Region where human understanding does not work; world of brutal instincts where lasciviousness mixes with the impetus of violence.

Behold the Mysteries of Minos or of Minna. Frightful depths where the Black Tantrics live, who developed the ‘Abominable Kundartiguador Organ’, with which they descended into the abyss.

It is ostensible that every human being is a creature that captures the distinct Cosmic Forces, to transform them and to transmit them to the interior layers of the Earth.

Since in the Lemurian Continent, some 18 million years ago, the Earth shook incessantly, throwing its volcanoes fire and lava, certain Sacred Individuals authorized the development of the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ in humanity, so that the lunar fire might counteract the seismic upheavals.

It is not out of place to remember that said Negative Fohat covered itself with the physical tail, as we see in the simians. Then the dwellers of the Earth carried that organ for many millennia.

The forces that in that epoch passed through the human organisms suffered therefore categorical modifications that permitted the stability of the planetary crust.

Much later in the history of the centuries, other Sacred Individuals, considering already unnecessary the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ (Tail of Satan), eliminated it from humanity, leaving however its bad consequences within the human psyche.

Unfortunately, the worst results of the ‘Organ of the Witches’ Sabbaths’ remained in the five Cylinders of the Organic Machine, known as: Intellect, Emotion, Movement, Instinct, and Sex.

Deepening on this theme, we can discover by ourselves that such tenebrous results are perfectly defined as Psychic Aggregates or quarrelsome I-s that personify our defects.

In the Submerged Sphere of Mercury there dwell millions of human creatures with the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ totally developed.

I do not wish to say with this that the physical tail of the simians is currently developed in the anatomy of the ‘Three-brained or Three-centered Bipeds’. I refer to the psychic, atomic, energetic tail.

This we come to evidence, in clear form, when, dressed in our Astral Body, we penetrate into the submerged dominions of Mercurial type, beneath the epidermis of the planet.

Q. Dear Master, I wish to know if the persons and events that figure in your exposition of the Second Dantesque Circle are simply mythological or real; for although the Divine Comedy is a literary work, the persons whom you mention are taken from history and mythology.

A. Noble gentleman, distinguished ladies, allow me to affirm solemnly that the Divine Comedy of Dante is an Initiatic, Esoteric text, that very few have known how to interpret in its true significance.

The mythological characters cited in that text, or dwellers of the Submerged Sphere of Mercury, represent symbolically the living animal passions of humanity, the falls of the soul, the perversions of the human spirit.

In addition, those characters, who in life existed historically, after death indeed inhabit those infernal regions, paying the karma of their crimes.

For history is not only the chronicle of physical events; history has a hidden side, an esoteric side, that the Initiates know how to read in the great book of cosmic memory.

Q. Master, what relationship does Mercury have with sex, since one would think that the planet Venus would be more related?

A. In the esoteric symbolism, Mercury represents the messenger of the gods, the conductor of souls, the energy that moves from one plane to another. Sexual energy is precisely that — the mercurial energy that can rise to the brain to illumine, or descend to the abyss to corrupt.

For this reason the Mercurian Hell is the dwelling of the fornicators: those who used the mercurial energy of sex against the cosmic laws, who spilled it in lust instead of transmuting it for the spirit.

Venus, on the other hand, represents love; in its higher aspect, divine love, the union of the soul with God; in its lower aspect, the appetites of the senses, gluttony, drunkenness, the search for material pleasures.

For this reason the Hell of Venus is the dwelling of the gluttons and drunkards: those who lost themselves in the pleasures of the table, in the wines, in the festivals.

Q. Master, how does one come out of the Mercurian Hell?

A. The way out is the disintegration of the I-s of lust. The souls that dwell there must pass through the painful process of seeing their I-s disintegrated by the Divine Mother Kundalini in her negative aspect, that is, by Hecate, by Proserpina, by the Queen of the dead.

This process is long, painful, terrible; but at the end of the same, the Essence is freed, and ascends toward the Limbo to begin again the cycle of opportunities.

Whoever is wise dissolves the I-s of lust here and now, in this physical life, through conscious work and voluntary suffering. Then he is freed of the necessity of passing through the Mercurian Hell after death.

This is the great advantage of the Gnostic work: to liberate oneself from the I-s here and now, without need of the painful processes of the abyss. But for this one must work intensely, with continuity of purposes, with all the soul.

Q. Master, how can we know if we have I-s of lust within ourselves?

A. Through self-observation, through meditation, through reflection upon our daily reactions. Whoever observes himself sincerely discovers in himself I-s of lust, of envy, of pride, of greed, of vanity, of laziness.

All these I-s must be dissolved through the Gnostic work: comprehension first, elimination afterward. Comprehension is achieved through meditation; elimination through the Forge of the Cyclops, that is to say, through Sexual Magic, asking the Divine Mother to eliminate the I that we have comprehended.

Q. Master, what happens with the souls of those who have spent their life in fornication, without ever having heard of the Gnostic doctrine?

A. Those souls follow the path of nature: they must pass through the Mercurian Hell after death, where their I-s of lust will be disintegrated by the forces of the abyss. The process is long and painful, but at the end the Essence is freed.

The fact of not having heard of the Gnostic doctrine in this life does not condemn them eternally; in their next existence they will have the opportunity of hearing it and of working upon themselves. If they do not take advantage of it, they will continue with the process, until exhausting the cycle of opportunities.

Q. Master, are there many souls in the Mercurian Hell?

A. Unfortunately, yes; the Mercurian Hell is one of the most populated regions of the abyss. The majority of human beings of this Black Age have fallen into fornication, and therefore many of them must pass through this Hell after the death of their physical body.

This is one of the reasons why we Gnostics insist so much on Chastity, on Sexual Magic, on the transmutation of energy. We try to save as many souls as possible from descending into the Mercurian Hell.

Q. Master, what is your final message regarding this Mercurian Hell?

A. My final message is this: practice Chastity, transmute the sexual energy, learn to use the keys of the Maithuna, dissolve the I-s of lust. Only thus shall you be freed from the necessity of passing through this terrible Hell.

The path is hard, the work is bitter; but the result is supreme: the liberation from the lust, the awakening of consciousness, the illumination of the soul.

This is the message that I bring to you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice. The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time has come to awaken.

The path is hard, the work is bitter; but the result is supreme: the liberation from the lust, the awakening of consciousness, the illumination of the soul.

Chapter Twelve: THIRD DANTESQUE CIRCLE OR INFERIOR OF VENUS

Friends who hear me tonight:

We are going to converse on the Venusian Hells, located, as is already known, in the Infradimensions of Nature, beneath the epidermis of the Earth.

Unquestionably, it is a matter of a region much more dense than the two previous ones, much more gross, since each atom of matter contains in its interior a greater number of laws.

Obviously, it is a matter of heavier atoms, and therefore the materiality is much greater.

In addition, the very fact of being governed by 288 Laws makes such a subterranean zone something too complicated and frightfully difficult and painful.

Let us carefully observe the bars, cabarets, brothels, etc., etc., in our Three-Dimensional World of Euclid.

Unquestionably, the vital shadow of all this, the sinister aspect of the GREAT ORGIES and BACCHANALS, we can find in the Submerged Sphere of Venus.

Those who have always lived from orgy to orgy, from bar to bar, submerged among the mud of the great festivals, banquets, and drunkennesses, know very well that after the pleasure comes the pain.

Amplifying this question, deepening a little more on this theme, I can affirm to you, in emphatic form, that after the pleasure comes the pain. Now you can understand the conditions of life in the Third Dantesque Circle.

With just reason, Dante found in the Submerged Abysses of the Third Infernal Circle, incessant rain, frightful cold, mud, black waters, putrefaction, etc.

Nevertheless, the deceased in those regions hear with horror the frightful barkings of CERBERUS, the Infernal Dog.

Symbolic Hound that with its three cruel mouths represents the violent, Luciferine, sexual animal passions, beyond all control.

There the pleasures of the old Rome of the Caesars, converted into fatal results; there Petronius, who died amid the noise and the festival, beloved by Nero; there the great gluttons of all times.

Grotesque dwelling of the heliogabali! Famous gluttons, true peacocks resplendent gloriously in the ancient bustles.

What became of their cups of fine Baccarat? In what did the swords of the cavaliers end, their oaths of love, the kisses of their lady, their sweet words, the savor of the wines, the rich foods?

Now only the pestilence of the Buried World, where Ciacco prophesied to Dante the fall of the victorious party in beautiful Florence and the triumph of the humble.

Many sincere mistaken ones, involuting frightfully in those Abysmal Regions, people who delighted with their lyre the sumptuous halls of the great lords, who entertained kings, queens, and emperors, are now reduced to shades that wander among the rains and the mud of the Venusian Hell.

Q. Dear Master, you mention that in this Third Dantesque Circle of Venus dwell many sincere mistaken ones; that is to say, many Souls who undoubtedly were good in life, but who through their gluttony and drunkenness fell into the abyss. How can this be?

A. Friend, gentleman who makes the question: much good can we practice in life, and you can be sure that the good works will always be paid amply by the cosmic laws. But the good works do not save us from the consequences of the bad ones.

With patience I ask you to pay attention, to follow the course of this dissertation. Hear me, listen to me: every one who has exhausted the Cycle of the 108 existences, who has not been able to self-realize, must descend into the Infernal Worlds, no matter how many good works he may have done.

Nevertheless, it is ostensible that before entering the Dwelling of Pluto, our good works are first paid to us.

Now you will explain to yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, the motive for which many perverse ones, in their current life, live in opulence, while some saints or virtuous persons live in misery: the perverse are receiving the payment of the good works of their previous lives, while the saints are paying their karma of previous lives.

It is unquestionable that after the good works have been well paid, those who are without Self-Realization enter the Subterranean Abysses.

There are also pious people with secret unconfessable crimes; what of good they have was always well paid by the Law of Karma, but the evil takes them to the abyss.

Understand then, friend, what the Law of Retribution is; comprehend all please, comprehend.

Q. Venerable Master, I would like you to explain to me why the fornicators inhabit the Region of Mercury, which is a less dense zone than that of Venus, and the gluttons and drunkards inhabit the more dense region of Venus.

A. Gentlemen, ladies, distinguished gentleman who makes the question: comprehend me, please.

It has been said to us in emphatic form that the ‘original sin’ is fornication, and this is the foundation of the involutionary waves of the Infernal Worlds.

I am not saying that in the Third Infernal Circle live exclusively the DRUNKARDS and GLUTTONS. It is obvious that the lost ones are one hundred percent irredeemable fornicators.

In each Infernal Circle, the souls are classified according to the dominant defect; but all of them are fornicators, because fornication is the original sin from which all the others derive.

In the Mercurian Hell predominate the I-s of lust pure; in the Venusian Hell predominate the I-s of gluttony and drunkenness, although they also have the I-s of lust.

As we descend through the Circles, the I-s become more complex, more dense, more terrible. In the Ninth Circle, the lost ones are full of all the I-s in their most monstrous expressions.

Q. Master, are gluttony and drunkenness really so grave as to take the soul to the abyss?

A. Gluttony and drunkenness in themselves are not the cause of the descent to the abyss; the cause is the loss of consciousness that they produce. The drunkard loses the consciousness; the glutton submerges himself in matter; both lose the spiritual orientation and become slaves of the body.

In addition, gluttony and drunkenness are often accompanied by lust, by violence, by stupidity. The drunkard does things that he would not do in his right mind; the glutton, dominated by his appetite, becomes incapable of any spiritual work.

For this reason, the Gnostic doctrine recommends temperance: not absolute abstention, which is fanaticism, but the wise use of food and drink, without falling into excess.

Q. Master, how can we know if we are gluttons or drunkards?

A. Through self-observation. The glutton lives thinking of food; for him, eating is the principal of life; he becomes upset when there is not food to his taste; he eats more than necessary; he becomes a slave of the palate.

The drunkard lives thinking of drink; for him, the moment of drinking is the most important; he loses control of himself; he says things that he would not say in his right mind; he becomes a slave of the bottle.

Whoever discovers in himself these tendencies must work upon them: comprehend them in meditation, dissolve them through the Forge of the Cyclops, replace them with temperance, with measure, with conscious eating and drinking.

Q. Master, what is the final lesson of this Third Infernal Circle?

A. The final lesson is that the apparent pleasures of the body are fleeting and pay themselves with later suffering. The drunkard and the glutton seek momentary pleasure, but pay it with the descent into the abyss.

The wise man knows that true pleasure is in the spirit, not in the body; that the joys of the soul are infinitely superior to those of the senses; that whoever lives for the body loses the soul.

For this reason, dear friends, practice temperance, control your appetites, dissolve the I-s of gluttony and drunkenness, before they take you to the Venusian Hell.

The path is hard, the work is bitter; but the result is supreme: the liberation from the slavery of the body, the awakening of consciousness, the illumination of the soul.

This is the message that I bring to you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice. The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time has come to awaken.

The path is hard, the work is bitter; but the result is supreme: the liberation from the slavery of the body, the awakening of consciousness, the illumination of the soul.

Chapter Thirteen: FOURTH INFERNAL CIRCLE OR SUBMERGED SPHERE OF THE SUN

Distinguished friends:

We are going tonight to study consciously the Fourth Dantesque Circle, located in the natural Infradimensions, beneath the Three-Dimensional Region of Euclid.

Those of us who have passed through the various transcendental esoteric processes in the Superior Dimensions, have been able to verify, by ourselves and in direct form, the realities of the Submerged Mineral Kingdom.

Unquestionably, in the Solar Hells of the resplendent star that gives life to all this Solar System of Ors, we do not see the grotesque Dantesque spectacles that abound in the submerged regions of our planet.

It is obvious that in the Submerged Mineral Solar Kingdom there exists the most perfect mineral purity.

Indubitably, in the radiant star that is the very heart of this great system in which we live, move, and have our Being, only blissful beings dwell.

Since there exist sacred and eternal individuals, it is not possible to think of conclusive and definitive failures, like those of our terrestrial world.

It turns out evident, therefore, the concrete fact that there exist no tenebrous dwellers in the natural Infradimensions of the Solar World.

Another case, very different, is that of the Infradimensions of our planet Earth.

It turns out pathetic, clear, and manifest, for every Esoterist investigator, the involutionary states of the Fourth Circle, beneath the geological crust of our Earth.

Since the Sun is the source of all life, and the marvelous agent that sustains all existence, according to the Law of the ETERNAL-TROGO-AUTO-EGOCRATIC-COSMIC-COMMON, its negative reflection in the Fourth Infernal Circle has to do with all those who violated this Law in matters of economic life.

In that Tenebrous Region, in those Atomic Infernos of Nature, we find two specific types of involutionary people: I wish to refer in emphatic form to the spendthrifts on one side and the avaricious on the other.

Analyzing this question deeply, we must affirm solemnly that excessive waste is as absurd as avarice.

Within the merely Trogo-Auto-Egocratic-Cosmic-Common process, we must always remain faithful to the balance. It is clear that the violation of the Law of Equilibrium brings catastrophic consequences.

In the field of practical life we can verify, consciously, the disastrous consequences that come from the violation of the Law of the Balance.

The prodigal one, the spendthrift, the one who wastes his money, although at bottom he may feel very generous, is indubitable that he is violating the Law.

The miser, the one who does not circulate money, the one who egotistically retains it in undue form, beyond the normal, ostensibly is harming the economic life of the community.

The spendthrift, although apparently doing good by circulating money intensively, is logical that he produces imbalance, not only in himself but in the economic life of the community.

Prodigals and misers transform themselves into beggars, and this is proven.

It is indispensable, it is urgent, to cooperate with the Law of the Eternal-Trogo-Auto-Egocratic-Cosmic-Common, not to obstruct the economic equilibrium, not to harm oneself, not to harm one’s neighbor.

Since many ignore what the Law of the ETERNAL-TROGO-AUTO-EGOCRATIC-COSMIC-COMMON is, it suits to clarify the following: this Great Law manifests itself as the reciprocal nutrition of all the organisms, that is, of all the beings that nourish themselves mutually.

If we observe carefully the entrails of the Earth, we shall find copper as the center of gravity of all the evolutive and involutive processes of Nature.

If we apply the merely positive force to said metal, we shall see with Objective Clairvoyance extraordinary evolutive developments. If we apply the negative force, we see the contrary: involutive processes of dissolution.

Very interesting it is, for the esoterist investigators, to contemplate the metallic radiations of copper among the living entrails of the planetary organism.

Q. Master, why is it that the Fourth Infernal Circle is called of the Sun, when the Sun is the source of all life and goodness?

A. Excellent question, friend. The Fourth Circle is called ‘of the Sun’ because it is the negative reflection, the submerged antithesis, of the solar vibration. The Sun in itself is pure and gives life; but its negative reflection in the bowels of the Earth becomes the dwelling of those who abused the gifts of the Sun, who used the solar energies for the gain and wasteful expenditure of money, who violated the cosmic law of economic balance.

Q. Master, what is the specific torment of the Fourth Circle?

A. The specific torment is the eternal struggle between the spendthrifts and the misers; they are forever rolling great stones against each other, exhausting themselves in pointless labor that they themselves created with their economic crimes.

Each one carries the karma of his violation of the Law of the Balance: the spendthrift suffers the pain of having wasted; the miser suffers the pain of not having shared. Both find themselves in the same Hell, mutually destroying themselves.

Q. Master, what is the difference between generosity and prodigality?

A. Generosity is the wise giving according to the necessity; prodigality is the senseless wasting. The generous person gives where it is needed, in the measure that it is needed, with discernment and wisdom; the prodigal gives without discernment, wastes for vanity, spends for ostentation.

True generosity is a virtue of the spirit; prodigality is a defect of the ego. The first elevates the soul; the second drags it down to the abyss.

Q. Master, and what is the difference between economy and avarice?

A. Economy is the wise administration of resources; avarice is the unhealthy hoarding. The economical person keeps what is needed for himself and for his family, without falling into wasteful expenditure; the avaricious one keeps without measure, hoards without benefit, accumulates without sharing.

True economy is a virtue of prudence; avarice is a defect of attachment. The first preserves the equilibrium of the soul; the second strangles it with material chains.

Q. Master, how can we know if we are spendthrifts or misers?

A. Through self-observation. Whoever observes himself sincerely will discover his own tendencies. If you spend without measure, if money slips through your fingers without leaving fruit, if you live in debt because of senseless expenses — you are a spendthrift.

If you live obsessed with accumulating, if you suffer when you have to spend even for necessary things, if you deny help even to the poor — you are an avaricious one.

Both tendencies are equally grave; both lead to the Fourth Infernal Circle. The wise man practices balance: spends what is necessary, saves what is prudent, shares what is just.

Q. Master, what is your final lesson regarding this Fourth Circle?

A. The final lesson is balance in the use of material goods. Money is a tool, neither good nor bad in itself; the use that we make of it determines its moral nature.

Whoever uses money to harm himself or others, falls into the Fourth Circle; whoever uses it with wisdom, generosity, and balance, builds for himself a path of liberation.

Practice therefore the Law of the Balance: receive what is yours, give what corresponds, share what suits, save what is prudent. Thus you will be in harmony with the cosmic Law, and you will not have to descend into the Fourth Infernal Circle.

Since there exist sacred and eternal individuals, it is not possible to think of conclusive and definitive failures, like those of our terrestrial world.

Chapter Fourteen: FIFTH DANTESQUE CIRCLE OR SUBMERGED SPHERE OF MARS

Friends, ladies and gentlemen:

We are now going to converse a little on the Fifth Natural Infradimension or of Mars, located beneath the geological crust of our terrestrial world.

Above all it suits to clarify, in emphatic form, that we are not here citing the Submerged Mineral Kingdom of the planet Mars in itself.

We are referring, exclusively, to that Infra-dimensional section located beneath the epidermis of the Earth, related with the vibration of Martian type.

I am also not speaking of the Heaven of Mars, nor of the cited planet. What I am saying refers, exclusively, to the Fifth Infradimension of our planet.

I like to clarify all this with the purpose of avoiding misinterpretations, since the mind, as is already known, can fall into many subtle deceptions.

In the Fifth Dantesque Circle there stand out unquestionably the IRONIC PEOPLE, the FURIOUS, the HAUGHTY, the ARROGANT, and the PROUD.

In the Hells of the planet Mars in themselves, as we already studied in our book titled The Three Mountains, the Esoterist investigator discovers terrible warriors, true demons of war, who there fight without ceasing among themselves.

But in the Fifth Dantesque Circle, beneath the epidermis of the Earth, section of Martian type as we may say, there do not stand out, certainly, the followers of Selene with their belligerent shouts and warrior cries.

Here, Dante Alighieri, the old Florentine, disciple of Virgil the poet of Mantua, only sees among the turbid waters and the foul mud, many proud ones who tried in life to dominate their fellows, to humiliate the humble, to crush the weak.

The most painful thing of this Abominable Region is having to find themselves, the lost ones, with their same diabolical millenarian creations.

Unquestionably, the Consciousness bottled up in all those Psychic Aggregates that constitute the Ego, the Myself, the Oneself, has to face itself in the form of those same Psychic Aggregates.

I saw in those Submerged Regions much mud, stagnant waters, and supreme pain.

I still remember with horror a certain desperate creature, who, submerged among that mire of bitterness, desperately tried to hide himself before the sinister gaze of his own I-s.

To flee from oneself? The I fleeing from the I? Terror, horror! The Consciousness facing itself, confronting the Machiavellian suffering impossible to describe with words.

Those I-s, part of the living creature who wished to flee from them, did not have the eyes in the front like the other mortals; those, being nefarious, looked behind, to right and left, in distorted form.

They were Psychic Aggregates of violence. Bearing symbolic rifles, they wished to attack the creature who was hiding; and nevertheless, this latter one and his attackers were the same person, the same lost ego.

Q. Dear Master, I have observed that on referring to the Fifth Dantesque Circle of the planet Mars, you tell us that there are witches’ sabbaths and convulsions of anger; nevertheless, you also speak of mud and stagnant waters. How are these two aspects related?

A. Distinguished friend, I have said that in the Submerged Mineral Kingdom Martian, that is, in the Hells of the planet Mars — not in its Heaven nor on its planetary surface — there are warriors, witches’ sabbaths, scenes of violence; that is one thing.

I have also said that in the Submerged Mineral Kingdom of the Sun that illuminates us and gives us life, within its merely natural Infradimensions, everything is clean; there only solar spirits inhabit.

I repeat what I said before: in the Sun only solemn Solar Spirits can dwell, the Ineffable Beings who are beyond Good and Evil.

But in the Fifth Infradimension of our planet Earth, which corresponds to the Martian vibration in its negative aspect, we find the proud and the violent, those who used the force of Mars not to defend the just but to attack the innocent, not to protect the weak but to crush them.

Q. You say that in the Fifth Infradimension of the planetary organism, some I-s confront others, and that also the Consciousness confronts those I-s. Can you amplify this?

A. Distinguished sir, your question is important, and with the greatest pleasure we hasten to clarify.

Above all, it is urgent to know that the Ego, the I, the Myself, the Oneself, is not something individual. Certainly, the Ego is a sum of Psychic Aggregates; each one of those aggregates has its own life, its own intentions, its own desires.

In the Fifth Infradimension, the lost soul sees his own Psychic Aggregates as if they were separate beings, who confront him, who attack him, who torment him.

This is one of the most terrible torments of the abyss: to be tormented by the very I-s that one created with one’s own perverse actions, by the very thoughts of hatred and pride that one cultivated in life.

For this reason, dear friends, we say: do not feed the I-s of anger; do not cultivate the I-s of pride; do not nourish the I-s of violence; for sooner or later they will turn against you and torment you mercilessly.

Q. Master, what is the way out of the Fifth Circle?

A. The way out is the disintegration of the I-s of anger, of pride, of violence. The souls that dwell there must pass through the painful process of seeing those I-s disintegrated by the cosmic Mother in her terrible aspect.

In life, the wise man dissolves those I-s through the Gnostic work: comprehension and elimination. Thus he is freed of the necessity of passing through the Fifth Infernal Circle after death.

Q. Master, what is your final lesson on this Fifth Circle?

A. The final lesson is: practice humility, control your anger, avoid violence. Comprehend that pride is a chain that binds you to the abyss; meekness is a wing that lifts you to the heavens.

Whoever cultivates humility is in the path of liberation; whoever cultivates pride digs his own grave. The choice is yours.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

Unquestionably, the Consciousness bottled up in all those Psychic Aggregates that constitute the Ego, the Myself, the Oneself, has to face itself in the form of those same Psychic Aggregates.

Chapter Fifteen: SIXTH SUBMERGED SPHERE OR OF JUPITER

Distinguished friends:

We are going today to study with entire clarity the Sixth Dantesque Circle or of Jupiter, submerged beneath the epidermis of planet Earth.

Unquestionably, this Infra-dimensional Region is yet much more dense than the five previous ones, owing to its atomic constitution.

It is good to know that each atom of the Sixth Dantesque Circle carries in its womb 576 atoms of the Sacred Solar Absolute.

Indubitably, such type of atoms, extremely heavy, are the causa causarum of a tremendous materiality.

The people who live submerged in this Infernal Region, obviously, are controlled by 576 Laws, which makes of their existences something too complicated and painfully slow.

Time becomes frightfully slow in this Region; each minute seems centuries, and therefore life becomes tedious and unbearable.

If we analyze carefully the Jupiterian vibration in its transcendental planetary aspect, we discover that mysterious force that gives the Scepter to the Kings and the Crown to the great hierarchs, the kindly power that orders and rules with wisdom.

It is therefore the planet Jupiter, in infinite space, extraordinarily mystical, regal, and sublime.

Its antithesis, in the Submerged Infradimension beneath the geological crust of our world, turns out in fact converted into the dwelling of the MATERIALIST ATHEISTS, the SKEPTICS, the irredeemable INFIDELS.

There also live in that Region the BLASPHEMERS, those who hate everything that may have the savor of Divinity, and the HERETICS, those who cultivate the ‘dogma of separateness’.

One feels filled with pain on contemplating, like Dante, so many mitred skeptics and atheists, placed within the sepulcher of their own passions, hatreds, and limitations.

When we think of the great legislators, sovereigns, and lords who govern the social conglomerates, obviously we discover tyrants and petty tyrants who originate calamities and disasters for the peoples.

It is not therefore surprising that in this said Tenebrous Region of the Dwelling of Pluto, the Esoterist investigator finds all those hierarchs who abused of their power, who turned themselves into tyrants instead of being shepherds of their peoples.

Jupiter, as paternal friend, always generous, has its nefarious antithesis in those terrible heads of family who, having goods in heaps, deny bread, shelter, and refuge to their own children.

The Consciousness of the investigator is moved on contemplating in the Tenebrous Submerged Jupiterian Region such cruel heads of family. But the most curious thing is the contrast that they offer: while in life they appeared as religious, devout, charitable, in death they show themselves as they really were: avaricious, cruel, hypocritical.

There are also in that sinister dwelling, heads of family who aspired to the Intimate Self-Realization of the Being. In spite of all their cruelties, their contemporaries believed them to be saints, models of virtue, men of God.

Extraordinary pietists with feigned meeknesses and poses of comedians, unbearable vegetarians of those who make of food a ‘religion of kitchen’.

I would tell them: ‘Hypocrites, pharisees, whitewashed sepulchers!’, to speak in the tone of the Great Kabir Jesus. Nevertheless, that same their followers would never say.

It is not strange either to find in the Sixth Submerged Infra-dimensional Region, very honest and sincere heads of family, but terribly mistaken: what of good they had was paid to them in life with the praises and the recognitions of their fellows, but what of bad they did is paid in the Hell.

Jupiter, generous as always, lavish and altruistic, has to have its contrast beneath the epidermis of the Earth, in the Sixth Submerged Infradimension.

Which would be the antithesis of generosity? Selfishness, usury, embezzlement, that is obvious.

It is not therefore strange to find in the said Infrahuman Region, the one who accumulates all the goods of the Earth for himself, like a Sennacherib and his followers. Thus, those who in life were rapacious accumulators of riches, by force of crushing the poor, find themselves now in the Sixth Infernal Circle.

Q. Dear Master, I have observed that you mention that time is tremendously long, that the minutes seem centuries owing to the great density of this Region. How is this experience of the time in the Hells?

A. Excellent question, friend. In the Hells, time is experienced very distinctly from how we experience it in the Three-Dimensional World.

As one descends through the Circles, the density of matter increases, the laws multiply, and time becomes slower; the consciousness, oppressed by the multitude of laws, experiences each instant as if it were eternity.

In the Sixth Circle, the souls find themselves so immersed in the materiality that every second of their existence seems to them centuries; they live in a kind of suspended time, where the suffering does not pass, does not finish, does not relieve.

This is one of the worst torments of the abyss: not the intensity of the pain, but the duration; the sensation that the suffering will never end, that one will be eternally caught in those infernal conditions.

Of course, it is not really eternal; the cosmic Laws have their limits, and after exhausting the karma, the soul is freed. But the subjective experience is one of eternity.

Q. Master, what is the relation between this Sixth Circle and the religion?

A. The Sixth Circle is intimately related with religion, because there dwell those who corrupted the religions: the false priests, the religious tyrants, those who used the name of God to enrich themselves and to oppress the people.

There are also there the materialist atheists, those who denied God for pride and not for sincere doubt, those who blasphemed against the Sacred Sciences, those who mocked the wise men and the prophets.

Religion, well understood, is the conscious union of the soul with God; perverted, it converts itself into an instrument of oppression, into a tool of tyranny, into a sword of persecution. Those who pervert religion thus must descend into the Sixth Circle.

Q. Master, how can the sincere religious avoid falling into this Hell?

A. The sincere religious must distinguish between the form and the essence of religion. The form is mortal; the essence is eternal. The form is the ritual, the dogma, the institution; the essence is love, charity, humility, the union with God.

Whoever sticks to the form and forgets the essence, falls into religious fanaticism, which can take him to the Sixth Circle. Whoever lives the essence and uses the form as a vehicle, ascends to the Heavens.

For this reason, dear friends, do not worship the religious form; live the religious essence. Do not become fanatic of any sect; love God in the depth of your heart, and serve him in your neighbor.

Q. Master, what is your final message on this Sixth Circle?

A. My final message is: be sincere with yourselves, with God, with your fellows. Do not be hypocrites; do not pose as saints if you are not; do not pretend humility if you are proud; do not pretend charity if you are selfish.

The Hell of Jupiter is full of hypocrites, of whitewashed sepulchers, of fake saints. Do not be one of them; live the truth, even if it is hard; live the authenticity, even if it costs.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

Of course, it is not really eternal; the cosmic Laws have their limits, and after exhausting the karma, the soul is freed.

Chapter Sixteen: SEVENTH SUBMERGED SPHERE OR OF SATURN

Friends:

Gathered again here, we shall converse profoundly in relation with the Submerged Sphere of Saturn.

Certainly we are not speaking on ‘eternal condemnation’ or endless punishments.

Unquestionably, eternal condemnation in itself does not exist, and every punishment, however grave it may be, must have a limit, beyond which reigns happiness, the achieved goal, the soul integrated with the Spirit.

We differ then in relation to clerical orthodoxy in this sense, radically.

Indubitably, the involutionary processes of life, realized among the entrails of the Earth in the Submerged Infradimensions beneath the geological crust of our planet, terminate at last in the Second Death, that is to say, in the disintegration of the Ego.

It turns out then, palmary and evident, our opposition to the dogma of an absolutely eternal condemnation.

There emerges, at simple sight, our way of comprehending the expiation of guilts. Never could we conceive that some expiatory account, however grave it may be, would not arrive at its term.

It is clear that Divine Justice would never fail. Every guilt, however grave it may be, has its exact mathematical expiatory equivalent; it is not possible to pay more or less than is due.

I began thus our talk of today, my dear friends, in the form of a preamble, before entering the Submerged Sphere of Saturn, with the unavoidable purpose of clarifying our position against the dogma of eternal condemnation.

In our past talk we studied carefully the Sixth Dantesque Circle, and today it suits that we penetrate boldly into the Seventh or of Saturn.

If we read carefully the Divine Comedy of Dante, we shall find such a region converted into an ocean of blood and fire.

Allow us the liberty to say that this point of view is completely allegorical or symbolic. We wish to signify the concrete and definitive fact that in the Seventh Infernal Circle, the Esoterist investigator can verify the predominance of the color red.

When we speak of colors, we must know that above the solar spectrum, in the Superior Dimensions of Nature and the Cosmos, there resplends all the gamut of colors, much more brilliant and pure than in our world.

Thus, that red passionate, blood-stained color of the Submerged Saturnine Region, could not be exhibited in our Three-Dimensional World of Euclid.

Such a color finds its opposite in another similar one of the ultraviolet gamut, above the cited three-dimensional region.

It turns out interesting to know that every one who enters the Seventh Dantesque Circle carries in his radiant aura the said abominable blood color, which makes him certainly recognizable from afar by the inhabitants of those regions.

The Seventh Dantesque Circle is therefore the dwelling of the VIOLENT AGAINST NATURE, of the VIOLENT AGAINST ART, the FRAUDULENT, the VIOLENT AGAINST GOD, the SODOMITES, the USURERS, the SUICIDES.

Moving with the Astral Body, in conscious and positive form in this submerged region, I was able to evidence the violence reigning in such a frightful zone of bitterness.

I still remember two very notable demons, to whom I approached diplomatically, with the purpose of not hurting susceptibilities and provoking psychic reactions.

Everywhere violence reigned; among the bloody submerged atmosphere there were seen here, there, and yonder, unnecessary destructions, frightful blows against things, against beings, against fellows.

I felt as if the Saturnine influence with its definitively centrifugal forces proposed in this region to disintegrate everything, to reduce to cosmic dust permanently any vestige of life.

Much was I astonished to find there a very respectable creature, whose eyes still wounded the gentle light of day.

It was a matter of a very famous physician, a true Samaritan who in life had only proposed to cure the sick with true love and without any exploitation.

In life he had been venerated by all who knew him; he was an example of charity, of dedication to the suffering ones. Nevertheless, in death he was found in the Seventh Infernal Circle. Why?

Q. Master, why was that good doctor in the Seventh Circle?

A. Excellent question. That good doctor had a secret aspect of his life that no one knew: in private, he was a sodomite. His good works did not save him from the consequences of his secret vice.

This is the great lesson: no one can deceive the Cosmic Laws. The good works are paid amply, but the bad works also have their consequence. Whoever sins in secret, in secret pays.

Q. Master, what is the worst aspect of the Seventh Circle?

A. The worst aspect is the suicides. There the souls that took their own lives find themselves converted into trees of pain, from which the harpies feed without ceasing. Each blow that the harpy gives to the tree is felt by the soul as if it were given to its own flesh.

This terrible torment is owed to the fact that the suicide violated the most sacred law: the law of life. To take one’s own life is to commit the most grave offense against God, against nature, against oneself.

For this reason we Gnostics say: never, never commit suicide; whatever your problems may be, whatever your sufferings, life has solution; only suicide has no solution, because it submerges you in the Seventh Circle.

Q. Master, what should we do if we feel desperate to the point of thinking of suicide?

A. First, recognize that the desperation is a temporary state, that all passes, that the dawn always arrives after the night.

Second, seek help: from God through prayer, from family, from friends, from the spiritual brothers. Do not stay alone with your pain.

Third, dedicate yourself to the spiritual work: meditate, transmute, work upon yourself. The Gnostic work is the great healer of desperations; whoever applies himself to it finds the light at the end of the tunnel.

Fourth, remember that you are not your problems; you are an immortal soul whose destiny is the union with God. The problems are passing; the soul is eternal.

Q. Master, the violent against God, who are they?

A. They are the blasphemers, those who deny God consciously and with hatred, those who mock the sacred, those who fight against the divine wherever they find it.

There are also those who blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, that is, those who consciously and voluntarily worked against the cosmic forces, who chose the path of the abyss with full knowledge of cause.

These are the most terrible cases, because their condemnation comes from themselves; they chose, knowing what they did, the path of perdition.

Q. Master, are the violent against nature those who destroy the environment?

A. Yes; they are also those who violate the natural laws in their own body: those who poison the body with drugs, with alcohol, with excesses; those who pervert the natural functions, those who turn against the cosmic order.

The violent against art are those who pervert art, who used art to corrupt instead of to elevate, who turned beauty into instrument of degradation.

Q. Master, what about the fraudulent and the usurers?

A. The fraudulent are those who deceived their fellows for their own profit; those who used cunning to enrich themselves at the cost of the simple; those who lived from lies and deceptions.

The usurers are those who exploited the necessities of others to enrich themselves; those who lent money at exorbitant rates of interest; those who took advantage of the poor to enrich themselves.

Both types of beings — fraudulent and usurers — populate the Seventh Circle, paying the karma of their crimes against the laws of justice and charity.

Q. Master, what is your final lesson on this Seventh Circle?

A. The final lesson is the gravity of violence in all its forms. Whoever practices violence — against himself, against his fellow, against nature, against God — digs his grave in the Seventh Infernal Circle.

Practice the non-violence; cultivate charity; respect life in all its forms; revere God in all his manifestations. Thus you will be free from the necessity of passing through the Seventh Circle.

The Saturnine Circle is the most populated of the Infernos, because the violence is the most extended vice in this Black Age. Avoid it at all cost; the price of not avoiding it is too high.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

Unquestionably, eternal condemnation in itself does not exist, and every punishment, however grave it may be, must have a limit, beyond which reigns happiness, the achieved goal, the soul integrated with the Spirit.

Chapter Seventeen: EIGHTH DANTESQUE CIRCLE OR OF URANUS

My friends:

Again gathered this night, the 18th of November of the year 1972, 10th year of Aquarius, with the purpose of studying the Eighth Dantesque Circle Submerged beneath the geological crust of our planet.

On entering into explanations, we must begin by reviewing what we have already said in other texts, in relation with Black Tantrism. Obviously there exist three types of Tantrism:

  • White Tantrism.

  • Black Tantrism.

  • Gray Tantrism.

The Hindus speak to us frankly on the Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers, that Solar Electronic Power that ascends through the Spinal Cord of the wise initiate.

It is clear that the ‘Transcendent Fohat’ is developed exclusively with White Tantrism. The key we have given in our previous books; nevertheless, the basic factor of White Tantrism is the conscious sexual connection of man and woman, without spilling the cup of Hermes Trismegistus.

Black Tantrism is different: there exists connection of the ‘Lingam-Yoni’, magical rites, and seminal ejaculation. The result in this concrete case is the awakening of the ‘Igneous Snake’ in negative form.

It is evident that the Sacred Fire, in Black Tantrism, precipitates from the coccyx toward the Atomic Infernos of the man. Then appears the ‘Tail of Satan’, that is to say, the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ.

Gray Tantrism has other purposes: animal pleasure without transcendent yearnings.

We shall occupy ourselves now in explicit form on the ‘Abominable Kundartiguador Organ’.

There exist two Serpents:

  • That of White Tantrism is the ‘Serpent of Bronze’ that healed the Israelites in the desert, ascending victorious through the Spinal Medullary Canal.

  • The ‘Tempting Serpent’ of Eden, horrible Python, that crawled through the mud of the Earth and that Apollo, angered, wounded with his darts.

The first, the Serpent of Bronze, the Ascending Fire, has the power of awakening the Chakras of the Spinal Column; it opens, let us say, the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse of Saint John.

The Second opens seven Chakras that are in the lower abdomen, ‘the Seven Doors of the Inferno’, as the Mohammedans say.

Much has been spoken on the Kundalini, the Annular Serpentine Power that develops marvelously in the body of every White Tantric. But we affirm with frankness that there also exists the negative Kundartiguador, which descends to the abyss in the Black Tantrics.

Now you will explain to yourselves, friends and brothers of the Gnostic Movement, what is the motive for which the Adepts of India have been qualified as ‘Nagas’ (‘Serpents’). The reason is clear: they are the wielders of the Serpentine Fire, the masters of the Sacred Serpent.

The Eighth Infernal Circle, of Uranian type, is the dwelling of the Black Tantrics: those who awakened the Kundartiguador, those who developed the Abominable Organ, those who descended through the path of the Tempting Serpent.

There also dwell the alchemists who failed, those who used the keys of Alchemy not to ascend but to descend, who instead of creating the Stone of the Wise reduced themselves to the manure of the abyss.

In this Eighth Circle the souls find themselves submerged in trenches of pitch and fire, dwelling of the sorcerers, of the false prophets, of the simoniacs (those who trafficked with the sacred things), of the seducers, of the panderers, of the corrupt counselors.

With profound pain we contemplate in these regions to so many disciples of esoteric schools who fell into Black Magic: those who, having received the true teaching, perverted it; those who, having opened the door of the Mysteries, used the keys to enrich themselves materially.

There are there also the politicians who, using divine wisdom for terrestrial ends, sold their soul for power: ministers, presidents, sovereigns who used their position not to serve the people but to crush it.

Q. Master, what is the difference between the Eighth Circle and the Seventh?

A. In the Seventh Circle, the violent are punished — those who violated the laws of nature, of art, of God. In the Eighth, those who perverted the truth — those who, having known the divine, used it for the diabolical.

The Seventh is the Hell of the violent passions; the Eighth is the Hell of the perverted intelligence. In the Eighth, the souls are not only ignorant but knowingly evil; their crime is greater because they knew what they did.

Q. Master, who are the Black Tantrics, exactly?

A. The Black Tantrics are those who, knowing the Mysteries of Sex, used them for the satisfaction of the lower passions instead of the elevation of the spirit.

They are sexual magicians of the left side, who use the keys of the Maithuna with the ejaculation of the sacred sperm, with the purpose of awakening forces of the abyss instead of forces of the heaven.

In the moment of the spilling of the seminal liquid, all the marvelous forces that should have ascended toward the brain descend toward the infernos; thus the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ is awakened, the tail of Satan.

This is the most grave crime, because it uses the sacred energy of life for the construction of one’s own grave. The Black Tantric digs his own abyss; he constructs his own descent.

Q. Master, can a Black Tantric be saved?

A. The salvation of the Black Tantric is extremely difficult, but not impossible. He must repent profoundly, abandon completely the practices of Black Tantra, work with all the soul in the disintegration of the Abominable Kundartiguador Organ.

This work is bitter, painful, long; few are those who succeed in carrying it out completely. But the cosmic Mother has infinite mercy; she gives even to the worst sinner the opportunity of liberation, if he is willing to work with sincerity.

Q. Master, what about the false prophets?

A. The false prophets are those who, without authentic spiritual authority, present themselves as messengers of God to deceive the people. They are those who invent prophecies to gain followers, who proclaim themselves illumined to attract devotees, who use the spiritual word to enrich themselves materially.

There are many false prophets in this Black Age, especially in the New Age movements. They appear with fantastic teachings, with promises of liberation without work, with formulas of self-realization in 30 days.

Whoever follows them descends with them; whoever distinguishes them and avoids them protects himself from the abyss. Use discernment, dear friends: the true masters do not seek followers; the false prophets need them to feed their ego.

Q. Master, what is the final lesson of the Eighth Circle?

A. The final lesson is the gravity of consciously perverting the spiritual truth. Whoever, knowing the divine, uses it for the diabolical, commits the greatest of crimes.

Practice the truth in your heart; do not pervert what you know; do not use the spiritual word for ends of vanity, of money, of power. Be sincere with God, with yourselves, with your fellows.

Thus you will be free from the Eighth Circle, and you will walk in the path of the Light.

There are there also the politicians who, using divine wisdom for terrestrial ends, sold their soul for power: ministers, presidents, sovereigns who used their position not to serve the people but to crush it.

Chapter Eighteen: NINTH DANTESQUE CIRCLE OR OF NEPTUNE

Very esteemed friends:

Gathered this night, we propose to study the Ninth Dantesque Circle with the purpose of deepening more in this matter.

We have arrived through these talks at the very center of the Earth, which is of a frightful inertia, since it is the very nucleus of our planet.

On arriving at this part, Dante in his Divine Comedy unusually cites the ‘Lance of Achilles’. We have been told that such a Lance, if at the beginning wounded and occasioned grave injuries, afterward, on placing itself again in contact with the same wound, would heal it.

This comes to remind us clearly of the ‘Lance of Longinus’, with which the Roman centurion wounded the side of the Lord.

This same ‘Lance’, wielded by Parsifal, the marvelous hero of the Wagnerian Drama, came to heal the side of Amfortas.

Already in our previous texts we spoke in concrete form on this ‘Weapon of Eros’.

Then we said that such Spear is of phallic type, that wisely managed can be utilized for the disintegration of the Pluralized I.

It is very notorious the fact that Dante mentioned precisely the ‘LANCE OF ACHILLES’ in the Ninth Sphere, and this is something that must make us meditate.

It suits to remember that the ‘Sacred Pike’ is the very emblem of the Phallus, where lies the principle of all life, the Transcendent Sexual Electricity with which we can disintegrate the I.

I wish in this talk also to cite the ‘HOLY GRAIL’, that Divine Cup or Miraculous Chalice from which the Great Kabir Jesus drank in the Last Supper.

It is clear that such a jewel is the living symbol of the Uterus or ‘Divinal Yoni’ of the Eternal Feminine.

Since we have entered into the theme of the Ninth Sphere, we could not forget in this talk to mention the Chalice and the Lance of the Great Archaic Mysteries.

In the Ninth Sphere are definitively disintegrated the involutionary creatures. What was of Nimrod and his Tower of Babel? What will be of the modern fanatics of the falsified science?

After the Great Catastrophe that approaches, the intellectual scoundrels of the Tower of Babel will enter the Infernal Worlds, to reduce themselves to cosmic dust.

What was of Ephialtes? He succeeded in moving the Gods incarnated in ancient Atlantis; nevertheless, he reduced himself to dust in the Ninth Dantesque Circle.

What was of Briareus, the one with a hundred arms, living allegorical representation of the ‘Lords of the Tenebrous Face’ who in other times populated submerged Atlantis. In the abyss he was disintegrated.

In this Submerged Neptunian Zone the TRAITORS reduce themselves to ashes. Woe to Brutus, Cassius, and the inner Judas of every living being!

And what was of you, Alberigo of Manfredi, lord of Faenza? Of what good were your good intentions and your having entered the Order of the ‘Joyful Brothers’? Treason brought you to the Ninth Circle, the most profound, the most terrible.

In the Ninth Circle there dwell the betrayers of family, the betrayers of country, the betrayers of friends, the betrayers of benefactors, the betrayers of God.

All these traitors are frozen in the icy lake of Cocytus, immobilized in the ice of their own hatred, unable to move, unable to speak, unable even to weep, because the tears freeze in their eyes.

Q. Master, why is the Ninth Circle described as a place of ice, when the other Hells are described as places of fire?

A. Excellent question, friend. The Ninth Circle is the dwelling of the traitors, of those who killed the love in their hearts. The ice symbolizes the absolute coldness of the heart that has lost all human warmth.

While the other Circles are dwellings of passions in fury, the Ninth is the dwelling of the absence of passion, of the deadly coldness of the heart that has betrayed.

The fire of the previous Circles burns; the ice of the Ninth freezes. Both torment, but in opposite forms.

Q. Master, who is the worst traitor of all?

A. The worst traitor is the one who betrays God, who betrays the Light, who betrays the Inner Christ. Judas is the symbol of this betrayer; he is in the very center of the Ninth Circle, devoured eternally by Lucifer.

But the inner Judas exists in each one of us: every time we betray our own truth, every time we abandon our path of liberation, every time we give in to temptation knowing that we err — we are committing the betrayal of Judas.

For this reason, dear friends, beware of the inner Judas; do not let him grow within you; disintegrate it through the Gnostic work, before it leads you to the bottom of the Ninth Circle.

Q. Master, how can one disintegrate the inner Judas?

A. Through the comprehension of the betrayals that one has committed in one’s life, through the sincere repentance, through the firm resolution not to commit them again, through the elimination by means of the Forge of the Cyclops.

Each time that one identifies in oneself a betrayal — to one’s own truth, to one’s spiritual ideal, to the persons whom one loves, to God — one must work upon that I, comprehend it, eliminate it through the Sexual Magic.

Thus, little by little, the inner Judas is dissolving, and the soul is approaching the union with the Christ.

Q. Master, what is the Second Death?

A. The Second Death is the final disintegration of the Ego in the Ninth Circle. It is the moment in which all the I-s have been disintegrated, in which the Ego has been reduced to cosmic dust, in which the Essence is freed completely.

The Second Death is not a punishment but a liberation: it is the end of the painful process of involution, the moment in which the Essence, freed from its prison, can ascend again toward the Light.

After the Second Death, the Essence does not have memory of its past lives; it begins again the evolutive process from the mineral kingdom, ascending through the vegetal, animal, and humanoid until having again the opportunity of self-realizing.

Q. Master, then is there no salvation in the Hell?

A. There is liberation, although not in the sense in which the Catholic Church speaks. The traditional salvation, with eternal heaven, presupposes that the soul preserves its individuality. In the case of the Second Death, the Essence is freed, but at the cost of the disintegration of the personality that it was.

For this reason the Second Death is a tragedy and a mercy at the same time: tragedy, because the work of millennia is lost; mercy, because the Essence is freed of its prison and obtains a new opportunity.

This is the great lesson: do not let your existence arrive at the Second Death; work upon yourself now, dissolve the Ego now, awaken consciousness now, before the Cosmic Laws oblige you to do it through the painful process of the Infernos.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Ninth Circle?

A. My final message is this: beware of betrayal, in all its forms. Do not betray your own truth; do not betray those who love you; do not betray those who have helped you; above all, do not betray God in your heart.

Cultivate fidelity, gratitude, loyalty; these are the virtues that protect from the Ninth Circle.

And work upon yourself with continuity of purposes; the work is hard, but the goal is supreme: the liberation from the cycle of the Infernos, the union with the Father, the return to the Sacred Solar Absolute.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

Thus, little by little, the inner Judas is dissolving, and the soul is approaching the union with the Christ.

Chapter Nineteen: CONTINUOUS MOTION

Esteemed audience, distinguished gentlemen, honorable ladies:

We are going to converse a little on Continuous Motion.

From time to time the ‘scoundrels of the intellect’ concern themselves with Continuous Motion, and it is clear that public opinion is intensely agitated.

It has always been wished to invent some mechanism that functions perpetually, but this is not possible owing to the inevitable wear of materials. It is clear that if the materials wear out, the movement at last must cease.

Some persons, trying to discover the Law of Continuous Motion, have ended up in the madhouse.

One cannot but laugh on contemplating so many artifacts that have given no result. What ingenious mechanisms have the ‘scoundrels of the intellect’ not invented!

We, frankly, have already discovered the Law of Continuous Motion in the marvelous cylinder of the Archangel Hariton.

It is said that its principal part is made of amber with axes of platinum, while the interior panels of the walls are made of anthracite, copper, and ivory.

For our way of seeing and understanding things, it is obvious that both the exterior levers and the toothed wheels must be renewed from time to time, otherwise the mechanism would deteriorate over the centuries.

We are speaking unquestionably of the ‘Wheel of Samsara’, which turns eternally.

All of us without any exception have turned many times with this Great Wheel, and if Continuous Motion has not been interrupted, it is owed exclusively to the wise economy of cosmic substances.

Let us think for a moment of the axis of this Great Wheel, the one that is said to be of platinum; it could also be affirmed, in emphatic form, that it is of silver.

Anyone knows that silver or platinum are of completely Lunar type; it is obvious that the axis of the fatal wheel could not be of another material.

As for amber, it is clear that this latter is found diluted in all that is created; we must not forget that this substance unifies completely the Three Primary Forces.

It turns out extraordinary that the Three Primary Forces of Creation, despite working independently each one and on its own, are maintained unified thanks to the principle of amber.

‘Each one of us has not only passed through the mill many times, but also through each one of the teeth of the mill.’

With this saying I wish to emphasize the news that incessantly we have turned through successive eternities in the Wheel of the Archangel Hariton, that is, in the Wheel of Samsara.

The waste material is the Egos, that descending with the tragic Wheel disintegrate in the Avernus.

On the right always ascends Anubis evolving, and on the left descends Typhon involving.

The Wheel of Samsara turns eternally; the souls ascend and descend through it, gaining experience in the world of forms.

This Wheel has 3,000 turns; each turn is the opportunity that the Cosmic Mother gives to the Essence to self-realize.

Of those 3,000 turns, 1,500 correspond to the evolutive process from the mineral up to the humanoid, and the other 1,500 to the involutive process from the humanoid back to the mineral.

The humanoid is the maximum point of the evolutive process; from there one can ascend toward the Solar Man through the conscious work of self-realization, or descend toward the mineral through the failure to work.

This is the great moment of choice: whoever takes advantage of the opportunity of being humanoid and works upon himself, escapes from the Wheel; whoever does not take advantage of it, descends with the Wheel toward the Infernos.

It is for this reason that the human existence is so precious: it is the only opportunity to escape from the Wheel of Samsara. To waste it is to condemn oneself to descend with the Wheel, and to begin again the cycle of evolutions from the mineral.

The Archangel Hariton is the one in charge of maintaining the Continuous Motion of the Wheel; he is one of the great Hierarchs of the cosmos, dedicated to the marvelous work of cosmic mechanics.

Q. Master, why is the Wheel called of Samsara?

A. Samsara is a Sanskrit word that means ‘the wheel of pain’, ‘the wheel of recurrent existences’. It refers to the cycle of births and deaths through which the souls pass while they have not self-realized.

To escape from Samsara is the goal of all the religions; to break the wheel of recurrent existences is to attain Nirvana, definitive liberation.

The Gnostic doctrine teaches the keys to escape from Samsara: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, incarnation of the Inner Christ.

Q. Master, do all the souls pass through the Wheel?

A. All the souls who have not self-realized pass through the Wheel. Those who self-realize, who become Solar Men, escape from the Wheel and enter into the Conscious Circle of Solar Humanity.

The Solar Humanity is composed of those who have escaped from Samsara, of the Masters of the White Lodge, of the divine Beings who already do not need to incarnate in physical body except for missions of compassion.

Q. Master, how can we know in which turn of the Wheel we are?

A. It is not possible to know exactly, but we can deduce it from certain signs: how much we have evolved in spiritual capacities, how much we have suffered, how many opportunities we have wasted.

The important thing is not to know in which turn we are, but to take advantage of the present opportunity, to work upon ourselves now, to escape from the Wheel before it submerges us in the Infernos.

Q. Master, what is the relation between the Wheel of Samsara and the Law of the Eternal Return?

A. The Law of the Eternal Return is one of the aspects of the Wheel of Samsara. It refers to the fact that the souls return again and again to the world to gain new experiences.

In each return, the soul brings with it the karma of the previous existences and the lessons learned. The objective of the returns is the self-realization; but if the soul does not take advantage of them, the cycle continues until the cosmic clock strikes the final hour.

Q. Master, can one come out of the Wheel without need of doing the Gnostic work?

A. No, dear friend; the only way of coming out of the Wheel is through the conscious work upon oneself. There is no path of liberation through mere theory, through dogma, through ritual.

The way out demands work, voluntary suffering, continuity of purposes. Whoever applies himself triumphs; whoever does not apply himself continues in the Wheel until exhaustion.

Q. Master, what is your final message on Continuous Motion?

A. My final message is this: do not waste your opportunity. You are now in human form, with consciousness, with capacity of choice, with the keys of the Gnostic teaching at hand. This opportunity has no price; do not waste it.

Work upon yourself with continuity, dissolve the Ego, awaken consciousness, create the existential bodies of the Being. Thus you will escape from the Wheel of Samsara and you will enter into the Conscious Circle of Solar Humanity.

The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time of decision has arrived for you.

The Gnostic doctrine teaches the keys to escape from Samsara: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, incarnation of the Inner Christ.

Chapter Twenty: THE DISSOLUTION OF THE EGO

Distinguished friends, esteemed ladies:

Today the 9th of December of the year 10 of Aquarius (1972), we are gathered again here, in this place, with the yearning of studying profoundly the theme of the Dissolution of the Ego.

Above all it is indispensable that we analyze carefully this question of the Ego.

Various schools of pseudo-esoterist and pseudo-occultist type emphasize the absurd idea of a double I: the first they call ‘Superior I’; the second ‘Inferior I’.

We say that ‘superior’ and ‘inferior’ are two sections of the same thing.

Much has been spoken on the ‘Alter Ego’, and even it is praised and deified, considering it Divine.

In the name of that which is the Truth, it is indispensable to say that Superior I and Inferior I are two aspects of the same Ego, and that therefore to praise the first and to censure the second is an error.

Focusing directly on this question, looking at the Ego as it is in itself and without this class of arbitrary divisions (Superior and Inferior), it is clear that we look at the Ego as it is in itself: a set of I-s, of psychic aggregates, of larvas of consciousness.

It could be objected to us that such a differentiation is nothing more than another concept emitted by the intellect.

Those who listen to us will even seek escapes, affirming that one concept more or one concept less in questions of high Philosophy is something that has no major importance.

There are even those who can give themselves the luxury of hearing these affirmations and then forgetting them, in order to put attention on something that they do consider of importance.

The people of sleeping Consciousness are accustomed to passing over affirmations of this type, owing to being already tired with so much theory. Those persons say to themselves: ‘Why so much philosophy? What does it matter to me?’

We must speak with full frankness and base ourselves on facts, on direct experiences, and not on simple opinions of subjective type.

I am going to tell you, my friends, what I have verified, what I have seen and heard, and if you wish to accept my affirmations, well you do; but if you wish to reject them, you are also free to do so.

Every human being is free to accept or reject, or to interpret the teachings as he wishes.

In the beginning of my current reincarnation, I also, like many of you, had read varied pseudo-esoteric and pseudo-occultist books.

Seeking as you have done, I passed through diverse schools and knew a multitude of theories.

It is ostensible that by force of so much reading and rereading, I also came to believe in the existence of the two I-s: the Superior and the Inferior.

The various preceptors told me that one had to dominate the Inferior I by means of the Superior I, in order to be able to arrive someday at Adeptship.

But when I awakened consciousness, when I developed the ability to investigate in the supersensible worlds, I realized that this doctrine was false: there is not a Superior I and an Inferior I; there is only an Ego, a set of psychic aggregates, all of which must be disintegrated.

The Ego is multiple, not double. It is composed of hundreds, of thousands, of psychic aggregates that personify our defects: the I of anger, the I of envy, the I of lust, the I of pride, the I of avarice, the I of vanity, and so on.

Each one of these I-s has its own life, its own intentions, its own desires. They function as independent entities within our psyche, each one taking the control of the cellular machine at different moments.

This is why we are inconsistent, contradictory, multiple. Today we love something; tomorrow we hate it. Today we propose something; tomorrow we forget it. Today we are sincere; tomorrow we deceive.

This is owed to the multiplicity of I-s that we carry within: each one with its own program, each one with its own time of acting.

To dissolve the Ego is to disintegrate each one of these I-s, one by one, through the Gnostic work of comprehension and elimination.

The work begins with self-observation: to observe oneself in action, to discover the I-s that act in oneself, to identify them by their name.

Once an I is identified, one must comprehend it deeply: in what circumstances it manifests, what its motivations are, what its consequences are. This comprehension is achieved through meditation.

Once the I is comprehended, one proceeds to its elimination through the Forge of the Cyclops, that is, through Sexual Magic, asking the Divine Mother Kundalini to eliminate that I from our psyche.

This work is long, hard, continuous; the I-s do not disappear with one prayer; they require systematic, persevering, daily work.

Each I disintegrated is a piece of consciousness that returns to the Being; each I eliminated is a step closer to the Inner Christ.

The complete dissolution of the Ego is the great work of Mercury, the realization of the Magnum Opus, the goal of the Gnostic Initiate.

Whoever achieves the complete dissolution of the Ego becomes a Master of the White Fraternity; whoever does not achieve it remains tied to the Wheel of Samsara.

Q. Master, how can we begin the work of dissolution of the Ego?

A. Begin with self-observation in action. Observe yourself in your daily life: at home, at work, in the street, in your interactions. Discover the I-s that manifest in you in each moment.

Keep an esoteric diary: note the I-s that you have observed, the circumstances in which they manifested, the consequences they produced. This will give you a clear panorama of your psychological state.

Practice meditation daily, focusing on a specific I to comprehend it deeply.

Practice the Sexual Magic with your spouse, asking the Divine Mother to eliminate the I that you have comprehended.

Do this work with continuity, with patience, with faith. The results will not come immediately, but they will come if you persist.

Q. Master, how do we know when an I has been eliminated?

A. When the I has been eliminated, it does not manifest again in the form in which it did. The reactions that one had to certain stimuli cease; the circumstances that before provoked one’s defect no longer provoke it.

For example, if the I of anger has been dissolved, one no longer becomes angry when previously one would have become angry. The provocation no longer finds within one the I that responds; the consciousness remains serene.

This is the true sign of liberation: not that one represses the defect, but that the defect does not arise, because the I that produces it has been disintegrated.

Q. Master, can the Ego be dissolved completely in one life?

A. The complete dissolution of the Ego in one life is possible, but extremely difficult. It requires a tremendous effort, a continuity of purposes never relaxed, a sincere dedication to the Gnostic work.

Few are those who succeed in doing it; but those who succeed convert themselves into Masters of the White Lodge, into Solar Men, into true Sons of God.

The work that is not finished in one life is continued in the following; the cosmic Mother gives many opportunities. But the recommendation is: do all that is possible now, do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the dissolution of the Ego?

A. My final message is this: the dissolution of the Ego is the only path to liberation. There is no other way; there is no shortcut; there is no formula of self-realization without the death of the I.

Apply yourselves with all the soul to this work; it is the most important of your life, the only one that has eternal value. Everything else passes; only the work upon oneself remains for eternity.

The cosmic Mother awaits each one of her children to take the decision; the masters of the White Lodge are willing to help those who work with sincerity.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

Each I disintegrated is a piece of consciousness that returns to the Being; each I eliminated is a step closer to the Inner Christ.

Chapter 21: THE DEVIL

My friends:

Gathered this night, the 18th of December, year 1972, 10th year of Aquarius, we enter into the second part of our dissertations.

Much has been spoken about the ‘Devil’; sufficient has been written on this theme, but few are those who have really explained it.

The origin of this myth must be sought in the Initiatic crypts of the past and in the archaic caverns.

Let us reflect for a moment on what the Sun is. Unquestionably, the King Star illuminates us and gives us life; nevertheless, it contrasts with the darkness.

Any midday, however resplendent it may be, has its shadows, whether under the leafy trees of the solitary road, or within the grottoes of the mountains, or in the corners of houses.

Each one of us projects his shadow, here, there, and yonder.

Light and Shadows, in harmonious antithesis, mark a complete dualism whose extraordinary synthesis is Wisdom.

Let us go now a little further. Let us deepen into the profound, into the unknown of our Being.

We know that beyond the body, the affections, and the mind, is the Interior Logos, Divinal. Unquestionably, that which is ineffable, that which is Real in us, is the Logos.

Indubitably, the Intimate Sun of each one of us has also its ‘Shadow’, and this fulfills a specific mission in the very depth of our own Consciousness.

Obviously, such ‘Shadow’, such Logoic Reflection, is the ‘Psychological Trainer’, ‘Lucifer’, the ‘Tempter’.

In the Psychological Gymnasium of human existence, a ‘trainer’ is always required, with the purpose of producing extraordinary powers, faculties, virtues.

In what form could the virtues sprout in us if temptation did not exist?

Only through struggle, contrast, temptation, and rigorous esoteric discipline, can the flowers of virtue sprout in us.

The Devil is not therefore that tenebrous personage created by the dogmatism of some dead sects, and against which the Marquis de Merville hurled all his anathemas.

Ladies and gentlemen, Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, is something more than all that; it is the Reflection of our own Intimate Being, in ourselves and within our Consciousness.

Reviewing old mythologies of ancient times, we come to evidence clearly that such satanic myth was divulged in all the corners of the world, by all the religions.

Let us remember that there were epochs in the past in which there rose everywhere, in all the places of planet Earth, Temples to the Sun and to the Dragon. Then, there existed mysteries of the Sun and mysteries of the Dragon.

Q. Master, then is the Devil not a real being?

A. The Devil is real, but not in the sense in which the dogmatic religions present him. He is not a personage with horns and a tail, seated upon a throne of fire, tormenting souls.

The Devil is the reflection of the Logos in us, the Psychological Trainer who tests us with temptations so that we may strengthen ourselves and develop the virtues. Without him, there would be no spiritual growth, because there would be no resistance to overcome.

In addition, when the human being descends to the abyss, his own intimate Logos becomes for him a tenebrous Lucifer, a fallen Daemon, a Satan that drags him toward the disintegration. This is the negative aspect of the Logoic Shadow.

Q. Master, then is Lucifer good or bad?

A. Lucifer in himself is neither good nor bad; he is a cosmic force, the reflection of the Logos. His effects are good or bad according to the use we make of him.

Whoever dominates Lucifer, whoever uses his temptations to strengthen himself, ascends. Whoever lets himself be dominated by Lucifer, whoever succumbs to his temptations, descends.

Therefore, the Devil is the great teacher of the disciples; he is the one who delivers to us the tests, who confronts us with our own weaknesses, who obliges us to know ourselves.

For this reason the Initiates of all the times have venerated Lucifer in his cosmic aspect, while they have combated him in his personal aspect of trainer.

Q. Master, how can we dominate the Devil within ourselves?

A. The Devil is dominated through the Gnostic work of dissolution of the Ego. As we eliminate the I-s, the personal Lucifer loses his power over us, because he no longer has within us the points of support to act.

In addition, we must learn to receive the temptations with serenity, with reflection, with the conscious decision not to succumb. Whoever, in the face of temptation, responds with ‘no’ firm and conscious, dominates Lucifer in himself.

Whoever, in the face of temptation, succumbs, falls; but even the fall can be a lesson, if one learns from it and gets up with the firm resolution not to fall again.

The path of liberation is full of falls and risings; the important thing is not the falls but the risings. Whoever rises is on the path; whoever does not rise has fallen definitively.

Q. Master, the Devil who tempted Jesus in the desert, who is he?

A. He is the personal Lucifer of the Master Jesus, his Psychological Trainer. In the desert, the Master had to confront him and overcome him in the three classical temptations: the temptation of matter, the temptation of pride, the temptation of power.

All of us, in our process of self-realization, must confront our personal Lucifer in similar tests. There is no Initiation without temptation; there is no triumph without battle.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Devil?

A. My final message is this: do not fear the Devil; comprehend him. Do not flee from temptation; confront it. Do not curse Lucifer; thank him, because he is your great Psychological Trainer.

Through the temptations of Lucifer, you develop the virtues that elevate you to God; without him, you would never know what you are made of.

But beware: although Lucifer is a useful teacher, do not let him dominate you. Use his lessons to strengthen yourself, but do not become his slave.

The wise man uses Lucifer; the ignorant is used by Lucifer. Be of the wise.

Chapter 22: THE DRAGON OF DARKNESS

My friends:

Gathered this night after the Christmas of 1972, we are going to converse a little on the ‘Dragon of Darkness’.

Remember that these Teachings will constitute the ‘Christmas Message 1973-1974’.

Indubitably, this question of the Devil disturbs public opinion sufficiently today, and it becomes necessary to clarify, to indicate, to point out with precision, the crude reality of this mythical being.

Frankly, I do not believe in that Devil of the dogmatic religions, and I think that you also would not accept that fetish of the profane clergy.

It is obvious that in Atlantis, before the second transalpalnian catastrophe, there existed in the land of Mu a flying reptile of rather Neptunian type and full of marvelous powers.

The Chaldeans always wished to symbolize the darknesses of the night, the Reflection of the Logos in the Universe and within each one of us, with the famous amphibian Cetus, semi-fish and semi-dragon.

H.P.B. conceives that such a creature is ‘Makara’, the tenth sign of the Zodiac. Nevertheless, we go a little further on this point, because I am firmly convinced that it is the very Reflection of the Logos in the cosmic.

In any case, the scaly, the flying reptile of the Chaldeans, was taken later by the Jews and, I repeat, by the Christians. The most lamentable of this question is that these latter, by their misunderstood biblical interpretation, converted that cosmic reflection of the Logos into the famous Devil of the dogmatic religions.

It suits now to remember the Gnostic Community of the Naassenes, worshipers of the Serpent. The Adepts of such Order symbolized the Dragon or Reflection of the Logos with the Sacred Serpent.

Some suppose that John, the seer of the Apocalypse, is the author of such allegory. Such supposition is in fact mistaken, because the Dragon is of Neptune, of the Cosmic Reflection, and is much earlier than John.

There stand out the seven stars of the Constellation of the Dragon in the hand of the Alpha and Omega, that Verb of the Apocalypse who appeared to John.

The Dragon is therefore the Lucifer, Prometheus, Satan, or the Devil, in his superior aspect, the same Logos, ‘the Born by Himself’, the ‘Aja’ Hindu. In his inferior aspect, he is the Psychological Trainer.

I wish then, my friends, that you comprehend what that dogmatic fetish or orthodox fantastic Devil is, and what really is the Reflection of the Logos, the Shadow of the Eternal God.

I feel that there is something of resistance in the depths of you, in your own Subconsciousness, owing to the education received and to the mistaken ideas that until now have been delivered to you.

In no way does this prejudice that conditions your intellect surprise me. They taught you to believe in a terrible Devil, seated on a Throne of ignominy, with horns and tail, tormenting souls in an eternal fire.

How could the Shadow of the Eternal Living God be evil? Reflect on this a little, please.

In the British Museum there is a representation of the scaly, certainly sufficiently interesting. There also exists in the said museum an archaic painting, very ancient, where the tree of Paradise is shown with the serpent coiled around it.

It turns out interesting that near that tree one sees in the painting Adam and Eve, the man and the woman, trying to attract the apples with the purpose of devouring them.

This is the great esoteric mystery: the Serpent of Eden, far from being a tempter that condemns humanity, is the very Logos that delivers the sexual force, the creative fire, the key of self-realization.

But humanity, on falling into fornication, on extracting the sacred sperm from its organism, perverted the Sacred Serpent and converted it into the tail of Satan, into the abominable Kundartiguador organ.

For this reason the Serpent symbolizes the duality of the Logos: in his ascending aspect, the Bronze Serpent of Moses, healing of the Israelites; in his descending aspect, the tempting serpent of Eden, ruin of humanity.

Q. Master, why has Christianity demonized the Serpent, when the ancient religions venerated it?

A. Christianity, in its dogmatic version, lost the esoteric key of the Serpent. The original Christians, the Gnostics, knew that the Serpent is the symbol of the Christ; but with the institutionalization of Christianity, this knowledge was lost.

The dogmatic Christianity confused the negative Serpent (Kundartiguador) with the positive Serpent (Kundalini), and condemned both as evil. Thus the great esoteric teaching of the Sacred Serpent was lost.

The Gnostic Christianity, that we now restore, returns to the original teaching: the Serpent is sacred; it must be venerated in its ascending aspect, while it is combated in its descending aspect.

Q. Master, what is the relation between the Dragon and the Christ?

A. The Christ is the Cosmic Logos; the Dragon is his Reflection. The Christ is the Light; the Dragon is the Shadow. Both are necessary; without the Shadow, the Light could not be perceived; without the Reflection, the Logos could not act in the world.

In the cosmic sense, the Christ-Logos manifests as the Dragon of Wisdom, the Serpent that delivers the divine wisdom. In the personal sense, the Christ in us is balanced by Lucifer in us, our Psychological Trainer.

Both are part of the same divine Being; both work for our self-realization. Whoever comprehends this transcends the dualism and arrives at the cosmic unity.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Dragon of Darkness?

A. My final message is this: do not see in the Dragon a monster to be conquered; see in him a teacher to be comprehended. The Dragon is the great esoteric symbol of the Logos in his manifestation in the world.

Whoever comprehends the Dragon, comprehends the Logos; whoever comprehends the Logos, comprehends God; whoever comprehends God, attains the union with the Father.

This is the path of the great Initiates of all the times: the comprehension of the symbols, the comprehension of the myths, the comprehension of the realities that they hide behind the appearances.

Through the Dragon you arrive at the Christ; through Lucifer you arrive at the Light; through the Shadow you arrive at the Sun.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

The Gnostic Christianity, that we now restore, returns to the original teaching: the Serpent is sacred; it must be venerated in its ascending aspect, while it is combated in its descending aspect.

Chapter 23: SUBTERRANEAN CRYPTS

I see today with joy a very select group of Gnostic visitors, who came to Mexico after having attended the International Gnostic Congress in the Republic of Costa Rica.

We are going to continue with our talks, and I hope that all of you take from them the greatest benefits.

After this preamble, we are going to enter into the theme that occupies us today.

In ancient Chaldea and in Egypt there existed marvelous catacombs, subterranean crypts where the Mysteries were cultivated.

It is not out of place to remember the Crypts of Thebes and Memphis (unquestionably, the former were still more famous).

From the western side of the Nile, there existed in those times long, deep passages that arrived as far as the desert of Libya. In such crypts, the sacred wisdom of the ancients was cultivated.

At the instant in which we converse on this, the Temple of the Serpents in San Juan de Teotihuacan comes to my memory.

The Esoterist investigator can see there, in detail, sculpted in rock, the rattlesnake; and the most astonishing of all this is that next to the Sacred Viper, there shines beautifully the Sacred Snail.

Varied Snails, on the side and side of the Divinal Serpent, shine beautifully.

There is no doubt that in the subterranean crypts of Chaldea, Thebes, and Memphis, the Wisdom of the Serpent was really cultivated.

It is also very notorious the transcendental study of the ‘Inevitable Cycle’ or ‘Circle of Necessity’, that in spiraloid form or of snail processes itself during the existence.

See you, dear gnostic brothers who accompany me tonight, the intimate relation that always exists between the Serpent and the Snail. Reflect for a moment, please.

Obviously, the Serpent is the Transcendent Sexual Power, the marvelous power that brings us into existence, the force that originates all life.

Any authentic Esoterist knows very well that the Serpentine Sexual Power of all the Universe has power over the Tattvas, and therefore, over the Elementals of nature.

The Universal Serpentine Power originates infinite creations; Devi Kundalini creates the Mental Body, the Astral, the Etheric, and the Physical.

Now then, Maha Kundalini, or in other words, the Cosmic Mother, the Mother Nature, has created all the Universe or has taken the form of the world, obviously.

Any interior progress, every intimate development, is based on the Spiral of Life.

We then, speaking already in personal form, can say that each one of us is a poor snail amid the bosom of the Father.

In the subterranean crypts of the great esoteric centers of antiquity, the candidates were initiated in the mysteries of the Serpent and of the Snail, that is, in the mysteries of the sexual force and of the cyclic development of the soul.

There was taught, among other things, the great mystery of the Wheel of Samsara, of the eternal return of all things, of the necessity of climbing the spiral of consciousness to escape from the wheel.

There was also taught the great work of the Father: the dissolution of the Ego, the creation of the existential bodies of the Being, the incarnation of the Christ.

These teachings, preserved through the millennia in the subterranean crypts, are now delivered to humanity through the Universal Christian Gnostic Movement. The hour has arrived to share with all humanity what was previously reserved for few.

Q. Master, can the subterranean crypts of Egypt still be visited today?

A. Some of them physically; but the majority were placed in Jinas state by the Hierarchs of the White Lodge when the profane invasions began.

To visit them in Jinas state, it is necessary to develop the corresponding faculty; to visit them in astral, it is necessary to learn the astral projection. Both are possible through the Gnostic work.

Q. Master, what is the difference between physical crypts and crypts in Jinas state?

A. The physical crypts can be visited by any tourist; what is found in them are the material vestiges of the ancient cult. The crypts in Jinas state can only be visited by the initiates; in them are conserved the living mysteries, the active rituals, the present Hierarchs.

In the crypts in Jinas state, time does not pass as it does in the physical world; the ancient masters continue celebrating their sacred ceremonies, the candidates continue receiving their initiations, the divine wisdom continues being transmitted.

This is one of the great esoteric secrets: the great wisdom of antiquity is not lost; it continues being conserved in the crypts in Jinas state, awaiting the worthy candidates to receive it.

Q. Master, how can we prepare ourselves to receive that wisdom?

A. The preparation is the Gnostic work: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, awakening of consciousness. Whoever has done this work in measure sufficient can be admitted into the crypts in Jinas state to receive direct teachings of the ancient masters.

But that is not the goal of the work; it is one of its fruits. The goal is the union with God, the realization of the Being, the return to the Sacred Solar Absolute. The crypts in Jinas state are stations on the way, not the final destination.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the subterranean crypts?

A. My final message is this: the wisdom of the ancients is not lost; it is conserved by the Hierarchs of the White Lodge in the crypts in Jinas state, and it is delivered to those who deserve it.

To deserve it, work upon yourself with continuity of purposes. The masters of the past are willing to teach those who today walk the path with sincerity.

The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the wisdom of the crypts awaits its worthy receivers. Be of them.

The preparation is the Gnostic work: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, awakening of consciousness.

Chapter 24: WAR IN THE HEAVENS

My friends, ladies and gentlemen who hear me:

We are going tonight to study the theme related with the ‘War in the Heavens’.

Much has been spoken on the great rebellion of the Angels against the Eternal; it has been affirmed that Michael with his Hosts of Light had to fight against the Dragon and his followers.

All this, my friends, is completely symbolic; one must know how to understand it so as not to fall into error.

In past talks we gave ample explanations on the Devil, the Dragon, and now we shall enter more deeply into all this question.

In parentheses, I wish to tell all those present here that I have a wager with the Devil, and this may surprise you a little.

On a certain occasion, never mind now the date or the hour, the two of us seated face to face before a table, I heard from the lips of my own Intimate Lucifer the following words:

‘I shall conquer you in Chastity, and I am going to demonstrate it to you; with me you cannot.’

‘Do you wish to make a wager with me?’

‘Yes’, answered Satan, ‘I am willing to take the wager. For how much do we take the wager?’

‘For so much, and it is done.’

I drew away from that personage who is nothing more than the Reflection of my own Intimate Logos, treating him in truth a little badly.

In the name of truth, I wish to tell you, my friends, that up to the present moment I am winning the wager, for the Devil with me has not been able; in no way has he succeeded in making me fall.

The war then is tremendous; I am defeating the Dragon and I can say that I have him conquered.

This is the same thing that Michael did against Lucifer, the same struggle of every Initiate against his Dragon.

As Michael conquered all the Rebellious Angels, so also each one of us must conquer and disintegrate all the Devil I-s or Psychic Aggregates that we carry within.

Seen from another angle this matter of the War in the Heavens, we find that such allegory also represents the struggle that there was between the primitive Adepts of the White Fraternity and the Black Magicians of Atlantis.

It is unquestionable that after the submersion of that old continent, the Black Magicians of the Ancient Earth, swallowed by the waters, continued attacking the Adepts of the White Fraternity from the supersensible worlds.

The allegory then of the War in the Heavens has varied meanings: it can symbolize religious, astronomical, geological events, and, in addition, possesses an integral esoteric meaning.

In the esoteric sense, the War in the Heavens is the eternal struggle between Light and Darkness, between the Holy Spirit and the abominable Kundartiguador, between the forces of life and the forces of death.

This struggle takes place not only in the cosmic, but also in the interior of each one of us. Each Gnostic Initiate is a battlefield where this universal war is fought.

Q. Master, who is Michael, in the esoteric sense?

A. Michael is the Archangel of the Sun, prince of the celestial militias, conqueror of the Dragon. He represents the cosmic solar force that combats the involution.

In the interior of each one of us, Michael is the consciousness in action against the I-s; he is the force of the Inner Christ that combats the darknesses of the Ego.

Whoever activates the Michaelic force within himself triumphs in the spiritual war; whoever does not activate it, succumbs.

Q. Master, who are the rebellious angels?

A. The rebellious angels are the Initiates who fell, those who having attained certain mastery decided to use it for evil instead of for good. They are the Black Magicians, the Bodhisattvas Fallen, the Demons.

In the interior of each one of us, the rebellious angels are the I-s of pride, of vanity, of ambition, that rebel against the Inner Logos and that wish to dominate the soul instead of serving it.

Q. Master, how can we triumph in our personal War in the Heavens?

A. Through the Gnostic work: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, incarnation of the Inner Christ.

As we eliminate the I-s, the rebellious angels in us are disintegrated, and the Inner Michael triumphs. The war is long, but the victory is certain for those who persevere.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the War in the Heavens?

A. My final message is this: the War in the Heavens is fought in your interior, day by day, hour by hour. Each one of your reactions, each one of your decisions, each one of your acts, is a battle in that war.

If you allow the I-s to act, you are losing the war. If you resist them, if you comprehend them, if you eliminate them, you are winning it.

At the end of the war, the Initiate has reduced the Ego to cosmic dust, has incarnated the Inner Christ, has converted himself into a true Solar Man. He is the true victorious of the War in the Heavens.

This is the message that I bring you tonight; receive it, meditate upon it, put it into practice.

At the end of the war, the Initiate has reduced the Ego to cosmic dust, has incarnated the Inner Christ, has converted himself into a true Solar Man.

Chapter 25: THE LAW OF THE ETERNAL RETURN

My friends:

Gathered this afternoon in this house, we are today going to study the ‘Law of the Eternal Return’ of all things.

At the hour of death, there always arrives before the bed the Angel of Death. Of these there is a legion, and all of them work in accordance with the Great Law.

Three things go to the pantheon or cemetery:

  • First: The Physical Cadaver.

  • Second: The Vital Body (this escapes from the Physical Body with the last exhalation); such vehicle floats before the sepulcher and decomposes slowly as the physical body disintegrates.

  • Third: The Ex-Personality. This, indisputably, can sometimes escape from the tomb and wander through the cemetery, or direct itself to some places that are familiar to it.

There is no doubt that the Ex-Personality dissolves slowly through time; there exists no tomorrow for the Personality of the dead; this in itself is perishable, mortal.

That which continues, that which does not go to the sepulcher, is the Ego, the Myself, the Oneself.

The Ego, the I, has many forms; it is composed of multiple psychic aggregates. When the body dies, the Ego does not die with it; it continues existing in the supersensible worlds, awaiting the moment of returning.

The Essence, the embryo of soul, is bottled up among the I-s. When the moment arrives, the Ego with its Essence within returns to a new physical body, and there begins a new life.

This is the Eternal Return: the Ego returns again and again to physical life, taking new bodies, until having exhausted the cycle of opportunities that the Cosmic Mother assigns to each soul.

In each return, the Ego brings with it the karma of previous lives: the consequences of its acts, the lessons not learned, the defects not eliminated.

In each return, the Ego has the opportunity of working upon itself and of self-realizing; but the majority of the I-s of the Ego do not wish to die, do not wish to dissolve themselves, and thus the cycle continues.

Q. Master, when does the Ego return to a new physical body?

A. The time between two existences varies according to the karma of each soul. There are souls that return very rapidly, after a few years; others remain in the supersensible worlds for centuries before returning.

In general, the souls of high spiritual development have longer rests, because they have earned the right to enjoy the heavens before returning to the painful physical life.

The souls of low spiritual development return rapidly, because they have nothing to do in the supersensible worlds; their place is in the physical life, where they can continue gaining experiences.

Q. Master, do we remember our past lives?

A. The ordinary man does not remember his past lives, because the memory of those lives is in the Essence, which is bottled up among the I-s.

As one awakens consciousness through the Gnostic work, one begins to remember the past lives, first in dreams, then in meditation, finally in direct visions.

The complete memory of all the past lives is one of the fruits of the integral self-realization; the Master of the Major Mysteries remembers all his existences with detail.

Q. Master, why do we return to physical life?

A. We return to gain experience, to learn lessons, to develop spiritual capacities, to pay our karma, to work toward self-realization.

The physical life is a school; each existence is a lesson. Those who learn ascend; those who do not learn must repeat the lesson until they learn.

The goal is to escape from the cycle of returns, that is, from the Wheel of Samsara. This is only achieved through the conscious work upon oneself.

Q. Master, can we choose where and when we return?

A. The ordinary soul does not choose; the Lords of Karma decide, according to the laws of the cosmos and the karma of each one. The conditions of birth — country, family, sex, social class — are determined by the karma of previous lives.

The Solar Masters can choose, because they have transcended the karma; they incarnate by their own will, for missions of compassion, and they choose the conditions of their birth.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Eternal Return?

A. My final message is this: do not waste your opportunity. You have returned to this life for some reason; you have lessons to learn, karma to pay, work to do.

Do not pass through this life like a leaf in the wind; live it consciously, work upon yourself, dissolve the Ego, create the existential bodies of the Being.

If you do not take advantage of this opportunity, you will have to return until you do. And the returns are not infinite: at the end of the 108 existences comes the descent into the Infernal Worlds.

Take advantage now of the precious opportunity that you have; do not wait for tomorrow; tomorrow may not come.

As one awakens consciousness through the Gnostic work, one begins to remember the past lives, first in dreams, then in meditation, finally in direct visions.

Chapter 26: REINCARNATION

My friends:

Gathered now, we are going to study the ‘Law of Reincarnation’. I hope that all of you take the greatest benefit from these talks.

It is urgent that together we try to comprehend in integral form what this Great Law is.

Certainly the word ‘Reincarnation’ is very demanding; let us remember the ten reincarnations of Vishnu, the Cosmic Christ.

Krishna, the great Hindu Avatar, born some thousand years before Christ, never said that all the Intellectual Animals that populate the face of the Earth reincarnate.

Krishna said clearly that only the Gods, the Devas, the Kumaras, the Sacred Individuals, reincarnate. The rest of the human beings return, but they do not reincarnate.

Entering in more detailed form into the study of the Law of Reincarnation, we can say with entire clarity, that the Reincarnation of those who have not yet self-realized is not possible.

Unquestionably, only the Sacred Individuals reincarnate, and for this reason in secret Tibet there were always celebrated the human reincarnations with great festivals.

In the name of truth, I wish to affirm clearly and without ambiguities, the crude reality that only the Reincarnation or reincorporation of the Awakened Souls, of those who have created the Golden Embryo, the Buddhata, is possible.

Analyzing this question with great care, we come to understand that such Embryo must be fabricated in deliberate form, on the basis of conscious works and voluntary sufferings.

Q. Master, what is the difference between Reincarnation and Return?

A. Reincarnation is the conscious incarnation of a sacred Individuality. The Master who has self-realized chooses when, where, and how to return to physical life, for missions of compassion. This is true Reincarnation.

Return is the mechanical return of the ordinary soul to physical life, without consciousness, without choice, without purpose other than the continuation of the cycle of Samsara.

The ordinary humanoid returns; the Master reincarnates. These are very different things.

Q. Master, why do the dogmatic religions confuse Reincarnation with Return?

A. Because they have lost the esoteric key. The original religions knew the difference; but with the institutionalization and the popularization, that distinction was lost.

Modern theosophy, for example, speaks of ‘reincarnation’ for all souls; that is technically incorrect. What ordinary souls do is to return, not to reincarnate.

The strict Gnostic doctrine restores this distinction: only the masters reincarnate; the ordinary humanoids return.

Q. Master, how can a soul prepare itself to reincarnate, instead of merely returning?

A. The preparation is the Gnostic work: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, incarnation of the Inner Christ.

As the soul advances in this work, it transforms itself from a humanoid that returns mechanically into a Master who reincarnates consciously.

Q. Master, are the great masters of history examples of reincarnation?

A. Yes; the great Avataras like Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, the great masters like Hermes Trismegistus, Pythagoras, Apollonius of Tyana, are examples of true reincarnation. They are Sacred Individuals who incarnate by their own will, for the salvation of humanity.

These masters remember their past lives; they choose the circumstances of their birth; they fulfill specific cosmic missions. Their existence in the physical world is at the service of humanity, not at the service of their own ego (because they have already dissolved it).

Q. Master, can a soul like ours arrive someday at being a Reincarnated Master?

A. Yes, of course. That is precisely the goal of the Gnostic work: to convert ourselves into Masters who reincarnate, instead of remaining humanoids who return.

The path is long, but it is open to all those who wish to walk it. The hour has arrived to begin; do not waste time.

Q. Master, what is your final message on Reincarnation?

A. My final message is this: do not content yourself with merely returning; aspire to reincarnate. Do not content yourself with mechanical existence; aspire to conscious existence.

The opportunity is in your hands; the work is at your reach; the masters are willing to help. Apply yourself with continuity, with patience, with faith.

Thus you will transform yourself from a humanoid that returns into a Solar Master who reincarnates; thus you will fulfill the goal of your soul; thus you will return to the Sacred Solar Absolute.

The preparation is the Gnostic work: dissolution of the Ego, creation of the existential bodies of the Being, incarnation of the Inner Christ.

Chapter 27: THE LAW OF RECURRENCE

My friends:

Today’s talk shall be on the ‘Law of Recurrence’.

On the Ego returning, on its reincorporating, everything returns to occur just as it occurred, plus the good or bad consequences. Indubitably there exist varied forms of Recurrence.

Diverse scenes of our previous lives repeat themselves, sometimes in higher spirals, sometimes in lower spirals.

The Spiral is the Curve of Life and is always symbolized by the Snail. We are bad snails amid the bosom of the Father.

Obviously we unfold, evolve and involve in the Spiral Line of Existence.

Another form of Recurrence we can evidence in the history of the Earth and of its races.

  • The First Subrace of our current Aryan Race unfolded itself in the central plateau of Asia, and had a powerful Esoteric Civilization.

  • The Second Subrace flourished in the south of Asia, in the pre-Vedic epoch, and then the Wisdom of the Rishis of India and the splendors of ancient Persia became known.

  • The Third Subrace flourished in the Middle East, with the great civilizations of Babylon, Assyria, Egypt.

  • The Fourth Subrace flourished in Greece and Rome, with the philosophical and political marvels that we know.

  • The Fifth Subrace, the Anglo-Saxon, flourishes today, with the marvels of modern technology and science.

In each subrace, the previous events repeat themselves in spiral form, with new colors, new circumstances, but with the same essential lessons.

Whoever observes the history with esoteric eye discovers the patterns of Recurrence: empires that rise and fall, civilizations that flower and wither, the same dramas with new actors.

In the individual life, the Law of Recurrence also acts: each Ego repeats in its new existence the same scenes, the same situations, the same sufferings of past lives, until it learns the lesson and transcends it.

Whoever does not learn from his past lives is condemned to repeat them with bonus of suffering; whoever learns ascends in the spiral and lives new lessons.

Q. Master, can we know what scenes repeat in our life?

A. Through self-observation, we can identify the patterns that repeat in our existence: the kinds of relations that we always have, the situations that always present themselves, the conflicts that always reappear.

These patterns are signs of unlearned lessons of past lives. If we identify them and work upon them, we can transcend them; if we do not identify them, we live and relive them.

Q. Master, why does the Cosmic Mother allow these repetitions?

A. The Cosmic Mother allows them because they are necessary for the learning of the souls. Each repetition is an opportunity of learning; each new presentation of the same lesson is a new chance to learn it.

It is the patience of the Cosmic Mother that gives us these opportunities. But the patience has a limit: at the end of the 108 existences, if the lessons have not been learned, the soul must enter the Infernal Worlds.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Law of Recurrence?

A. My final message is this: identify the patterns that repeat in your life; comprehend the lessons that they teach; do the necessary work to transcend them.

Whoever lives consciously, breaks the chains of Recurrence; whoever lives unconsciously, repeats them eternally.

The opportunity is now; do not waste it.

Chapter 28: THE SNAIL OF EXISTENCE

My friends:

Today we are going to speak amply on the Spiral Line of Life.

Much has been said on the doctrine of the Transmigration of Souls, set forth by Sri Krishna in the Sacred Land of the Vedas, some thousand years before Christ.

Already in past talks we have set forth all those processes of the Wheel of Samsara.

We have said with entire clarity, we have repeated to the point of satiety, that to each Soul are assigned 108 Lives for its Intimate Self-Realization.

Unquestionably, those who fail during their cycle of manifestation, those who do not achieve Self-Realization within the number of assigned existences, must enter the Infernal Worlds.

It turns out palmary and evident that Involution within the entrails of the planet in which we live, is terribly painful.

To recapitulate animal-like, vegetal-like, and mineraloid processes by a frankly degenerative path, is certainly not very agreeable.

We also affirmed in our past talks that after the Second Death, the Essence, that which we have of Soul, reascends evolutively from the Mineral Kingdom, passing through the Vegetal and the Animal, until arriving again at the human state.

The Spiral of Life is then the great cosmic curve through which the souls ascend and descend, through which the Essences pass in their journey toward the Light.

Each turn of the spiral is an opportunity of ascending; each fall in the spiral is an opportunity of descending.

The Snail is the symbol of this Law: it advances by spirals, never in a straight line; it climbs slowly, leaving its trail.

Each one of us is a snail of life, advancing through the spirals of existence. The wise snail ascends; the foolish snail descends.

Q. Master, how long does it take for an Essence to complete the spiral of evolution from the mineral to the humanoid?

A. The complete evolutive cycle is extremely long; we are speaking of millions of years for the soul to ascend from the mineral kingdom to the humanoid state.

This long process is the gift of the Cosmic Mother: she gives us the entire time of the cosmos so that we may evolve, learn, develop our capacities.

Once we arrive at the humanoid state, the opportunity is presented to us: 108 lives to self-realize. If we take advantage of it, we escape the cycle; if we do not take advantage of it, we descend again and begin the process anew.

Q. Master, why must we ascend through the inferior kingdoms?

A. Because consciousness must develop progressively. The mineral consciousness is the most primitive; it gradually develops in the vegetal, more in the animal, more in the humanoid.

Only at the human level does consciousness have the necessary development to make conscious decisions and to undertake the work of self-realization. For this reason the human existence is so precious.

Q. Master, what happens at the end of the cosmic cycle, the Mahamanvantara?

A. At the end of the Mahamanvantara, the entire cosmos returns to its origin, to the Sacred Solar Absolute. The souls that have self-realized return as Solar Masters; the souls that have not self-realized are reabsorbed into the cosmic substance, awaiting the next Mahamanvantara.

The Mahamanvantaras succeed one another eternally; the cosmos breathes, expanding and contracting, manifesting and re-absorbing. This is the great cosmic respiration of the Eternal.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Snail of Existence?

A. My final message is this: contemplate your life as a spiral; identify in which turn you are; work to ascend.

Do not let yourself be carried away by the inertia of mechanical existence; act consciously, decide consciously, work consciously.

Thus you will ascend in the spiral; thus you will escape from the Wheel; thus you will arrive at the goal that the Cosmic Mother has marked for you from the beginning of time.

Much has been said on the doctrine of the Transmigration of Souls, set forth by Sri Krishna in the Sacred Land of the Vedas, some thousand years before Christ.

Chapter 29: BUSINESS

My friends:

Gathered this night, we are going to study very seriously the question of ‘Business’.

Allow me the liberty of telling you that I am not speaking of profane business; I wish to refer in emphatic form to the Business of Karma.

Above all it is necessary that the people understand what the Sanskrit word ‘Karma’ is.

It is not out of place to affirm that such word in itself means ‘Law of Action and Consequence’. Obviously, there exists no cause without effect, nor effect without cause. Any cosmic event is the result of a preceding cause.

Today I have been reflecting on the misfortune of our world: how happy would these intellectual Humanoids be if they had never had what is called Ego, I, Myself, Oneself.

It is indubitable that the Ego commits innumerable errors whose result is the pain.

If these rational Humanoids were devoid of Ego, they would simply be most beautiful Natural Elementals, innocent, pure, infinitely happy.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, an Earth thus populated by millions of innocent Humanoids devoid of Ego and governed by Divine Kings, Gods of Olympus.

Such was the Golden Age, when humanity was innocent, pure, in direct contact with the Gods. There was no need of moral codes because there were no I-s that violated them; there was no need of police because there were no thieves; there was no need of courts because there were no crimes.

But humanity fell into the development of the Ego, and from there came all the misfortunes: hatreds, wars, crimes, illnesses, sufferings.

For this reason Karma exists: it is the Law that maintains the cosmic order in the face of the chaos that the egos produce. Each act of the Ego brings its consequence; each violation of the cosmic Law produces its retribution.

Q. Master, what is the Business of Karma?

A. The Business of Karma is the system by which we can transmute our debts into payments, our sufferings into virtues, our negative karma into positive karma.

It is possible to make business with the Lords of Karma: when we have to pay a karmic debt, we can negotiate with them the way of paying it.

For example, if we have a karmic debt that should be paid with an illness, we can negotiate with the Lords of Karma to pay it through service to humanity, through charity, through the spread of the Gnostic doctrine.

This is the great Business of Karma: to convert the debts of pain into payments of service, to transmute the necessity of suffering into the opportunity of growing.

Q. Master, how do we negotiate with the Lords of Karma?

A. Through prayer, through meditation, through the conscious offering of good works. We can present before the Lords of Karma our good works, our services, our charities, and ask them to apply them to the cancellation of our debts.

This is done in the supersensible worlds, through the practice of conscious meditation. The Lords of Karma listen to us, evaluate our merits, and apply them according to justice.

Q. Master, can we generate good karma to compensate for the bad?

A. Yes, of course. Each good work generates positive karma, which can compensate for the negative. But the good works must be sincere, not selfish; they must come from the heart, not from the calculating mind.

Charity well practiced, service to the suffering, the spread of the Gnostic doctrine, the help to those who need it — all these generate positive karma that compensates for our debts.

Q. Master, what is the most powerful good work to generate positive karma?

A. The most powerful is the dissolution of the Ego in oneself. When we eliminate an I in us, we cease producing negative karma, and we are converted into beneficial channels for humanity.

The Gnostic work upon oneself is therefore the most efficient way of paying karma: by eliminating the I-s, we eliminate the sources of negative karma; by creating the existential bodies of the Being, we accumulate cosmic merit; by incarnating the Inner Christ, we transform ourselves into living examples that save many souls.

Q. Master, what is your final message on the Business of Karma?

A. My final message is this: do not see karma as an enemy; see it as a teacher. Do not curse your sufferings; comprehend them and learn from them.

Make business with the Lords of Karma; convert your debts into opportunities of service; transmute your pain into wisdom.

Thus you will be not victims of karma but masters of it; thus you will fulfill the Law of Action and Consequence, but you will direct it toward your spiritual elevation.

Thus you will be not victims of karma but masters of it; thus you will fulfill the Law of Action and Consequence, but you will direct it toward your spiritual elevation.

Chapter 30: DIRECT EXPERIENCE

Distinguished friends:

Today the 19th of March of 1973, 11th year of Aquarius, we gather to finalize these talks that unquestionably will be published in book form for the good of humanity.

On concluding, I wish to place emphasis on the necessity of experiencing in direct form all that we have explained.

‘The Experience of the Real’ is cardinal and definitive for Creative Comprehension.

The hour has arrived to understand, with entire clarity, that we possess certainly a definitive psychological factor, by means of which it is possible to verify what we have spoken.

I wish to refer with great solemnity to the very base of our Psychic Organization, to that element that has not yet been lost: the Essence.

It is indubitable that in it, in the Consciousness, are found the Buddha, the Doctrine, the Religion, and the Wisdom.

Synthesizing, we can affirm that in the Essence, in the Consciousness, are deposited the indispensable data for Regeneration, for Intimate Self-Realization.

This means to say that if in such primary element, primordial basis of all our Psychic Organization, are found the basic principles of Regeneration, then there is in us all that is necessary to know directly the cosmic realities.

The Direct Experience is the only one that gives true knowledge. The theory, the books, the conferences, deliver to us information, but not direct knowledge.

True knowledge comes from the experience of the real, from the direct vision of the cosmic realities, from the union of the Essence with the truth.

Whoever does not have direct experience, has only beliefs; whoever has direct experience, has certainty.

Q. Master, how can we develop the capacity of direct experience?

A. Through Gnostic meditation, through astral projection, through the conscious work upon oneself. As we awaken consciousness, the capacities of direct perception develop in us.

Begin with the practice of self-observation: observe yourself in action, observe your thoughts, observe your emotions, without identifying with them. This is the first step.

Then practice meditation: seat yourself in silence, calm the mind, focus on the Real Being. Little by little, the mind quiets, the Essence awakens, and the contact with the suprasensible realities is established.

Then practice astral projection: learn to come out of the physical body in conscious form. There are specific techniques that we have given in our books. With patience and constancy, you will achieve it.

Q. Master, why is it so difficult for the modern man to have direct spiritual experiences?

A. Because the modern man is too identified with his body, his mind, his ego. The avalanche of impressions of the modern world bombards him constantly, and he has no time to enter into himself.

In addition, the materialist education has destroyed in him the openness to the spiritual; he believes only in what he can touch with his hands or see with his eyes, and therefore he closes himself to the suprasensible realities.

To recover the capacity of direct spiritual experience, the modern man must withdraw periodically from the noise of the world, dedicate time to meditation, work upon himself to dissolve the I-s that block the perception.

Q. Master, what are the first direct experiences that a Gnostic can have?

A. The first experiences usually are: lucid dreams, sensations of presence of higher beings, intuitions that are confirmed in the physical world, ability to see the aura of persons, ability to feel the energies of places.

These initial experiences are the basis upon which the more advanced ones are constructed: astral projection, Jinas state, direct meeting with the Masters of the White Lodge, vision of past lives.

Q. Master, how can we know if our spiritual experiences are real or imaginary?

A. Through the test of time and of practical application. The real experiences leave permanent fruits in our life: changes of conduct, awakening of capacities, accurate predictions, sincere devotion to the spiritual work.

The imaginary experiences leave no fruits; they pass like clouds, leaving only the memory of having had them. They do not transform the life of him who has them.

In addition, the real experiences are verified mutually: what one sees in astral can be verified afterward in physical form, what one intuits can be confirmed by the facts, what one perceives of another person can be confirmed by his conduct.

Q. Master, what is your final message of this book?

A. My final message is this: do not accept anything that I have said in these pages without verifying it for yourself.

I have spoken to you of Hell, of the Devil, of Karma, of the Wheel of Samsara, of the dissolution of the Ego. All this is real, and you can verify it by yourselves.

But for this, you must work upon yourselves: develop the capacities of direct perception, awaken consciousness, dissolve the I-s. There is no shortcut; the work is the path.

I have delivered to you the keys; the application is yours. I have indicated to you the road; the walking is yours. I have shown you the goal; the arriving is yours.

Do not waste this opportunity. Work intensely, with continuity of purposes, with all the soul. The hour is grave; the moment is solemn; the time of decision has arrived for each one of you.

The Cosmic Mother is willing to help all those who work with sincerity. The Masters of the White Lodge are willing to teach all those who learn with humility. The Inner Christ is willing to incarnate in all those who prepare themselves with love.

The path is open, the keys are delivered, the helpers are willing. There only remains your decision and your work.

I conclude this book with the firm hope that it will serve to many souls; with the certainty that the truth that it contains will transform the lives of those who apply it; with the love for humanity that has impelled me to write it.

May the Cosmic Light illumine your paths; may the Divine Wisdom guide your steps; may the Christic Love fill your hearts.

May the Gnostic doctrine extend itself throughout the world for the salvation of all those who seek the Light. May the Movement of which we are servants triumph in its mission of bringing the Light to humanity in this Aquarian Era.

May the Cosmic Light illumine your paths; may the Divine Wisdom guide your steps; may the Christic Love fill your hearts.
