Esoteric Treatise of Hermetic Astrology

PREFACE

BY THE MASTER GARGHA KUICHINES

There exists Scientific or Numeric Astrology, which requires extensive studies for its learning; with it the Astrologers of all times have made predictions about events of importance. Great personalities have also availed themselves of those knowledges, as in the case of Hitler in Germany, who made use of specialized Astrologers to direct him in his belligerent attacks.

We Gnostics separate ourselves from that form of study, because with it the human being is a plaything according to the predictions, defenseless before the signs that mark the different quadratures and passage of the stars. We know an astrology that teaches us to operate with the stars, and thus we can avoid the events that the specialists of Numeric Astrology might predict for us. For this it is required to change the lunar bodies with which we are born for solar or luminous bodies, availing ourselves of the very root of the being — that is, of our own seed.

The enemy that prevents us from ascending divine knowledge is our Satanic I, or Chief of legions, who governs our physical body. The most perfect manner of getting rid of the Guardian of the Threshold, as those of the left-hand path call it, is by means of the process of Initiation, which for us Gnostics begins with the entrance into the sanctuaries or Lumisials, availing ourselves of the teachings directed and promoted by the Avatar of Aquarius, “Samael Aun Weor.”

At the time when the Initiate Jesus gave his teachings to the devotees of the path he said: “I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life.” In those times there was a great magician called Simon the Magician, full of powers and great riches, who declared to his disciples: “If Jesus reached his father by his own merits, I, Simon, will also reach my father by my own merits,” and what he did was to follow the left-hand path, distancing himself from his beloved. This danger is always latent when the devotees of the path believe that they alone can transcend the path.

For those who receive this wisdom for the first time, we inform you that six months of preliminary studies are required, studying the works of Samael Aun Weor and putting his knowledge into practice. Then, if one gives proof of seeking to realize oneself in depth and of wanting a higher life, entrance into the Lumisials is given by means of a special process of training.

When the devotee of the path is prepared for the probationary course, the first test he must pass is that of the Guardian of the Threshold, or confrontation with his own Satan, who has been our guide and Master for very many centuries. I remember that back in the year 1949, a disciple of the then Hierophant of Minor Mysteries Aun Weor, after more than four months of absolute chastity, was subjected to the test of the Guardian on the day of July 27.

That beginner was in a solitary place; he was in the internal realm, but he did not know it. When he invoked the Guardian of the Threshold, the latter did not delay; the beginner told that first he felt a chill of death; the weather that was clear became increasingly dark, the cold also increasing, and a nauseating odor that made him tremble with terror; he felt the desire to flee, but the Christic force he had already accumulated in his organism by means of alchemical transmutation, Arcanum A.Z.F., gave him the courage to remain in that undesirable place.

Suddenly he saw coming toward him a beast with the figure of an ape, totally hairy, with horns on its forehead that shone and creaked when they moved, with nose and mouth like a mule, and it said to him: “So you wish to abandon me? Is this how you repay me for all I have favored you with? Are you exchanging me for that man whom you do not know?” And he answered, full of terror, that he was indeed abandoning him; the beast lunged at him in an attitude of attack; the beginner conjured it, but that weak conjuration of a weak and frightened man was of no avail to him.

But he remembered that he was a Chela of the Christ and conjured it in the name of the Christ, and thus it withdrew a little. Each time it lunged at him, he asked for protection from the Christ and his beloved Masters, and said to it: “You can no longer prevail against me; I will conquer you.” And the beast withdrew, hurling threats of every kind. The unease of that disciple was immense, because the Hierophant had set out for another city, and this required at least three days of absence; but on his return he asked him, and he answered: “I congratulate you; you have come out well from the first test with the Guardian of the Threshold; this being is your own Satan; you have served him and nourished him for many centuries.”

“And how have I nourished him?” asked the fearful student, and the Master answered: “He nourishes himself on your low passions; he feeds on your low desires, morbid passions, fornication, adultery, brothels, and dirty life; all of that constitutes the merchants of the temple of whom the Christ spoke; they trade in our own temple. Now it is your turn to cast out from yourself all those merchants who held you enslaved to Satan, with the whip of will; now it is your turn to conquer each one of them if you truly wish to free yourself from evil and take the white path.”

By means of this work we will be able to visit all the stellar geniuses, attending the heart-temple of the stars, asking and working with the stellar angels, so that we may not be playthings of circumstances; but first we must expel the merchants from our own temple; we must learn to operate at our own Altar. For this the devotee assiduously attends the rituals of the Lumisials; there he learns to love and serve God above all things and his neighbor; he becomes familiar with those rituals, and later he understands that all the information of the rite of worship has intimate relation with the living altar, and discovers unconfessable marvels.

The JACHIN and BOAZ of the altars are required for the operation of his altar, and the moment even comes when he learns to take the seven steps required to work consciously at the altar of the living God and in the presence of the blessed goddess.

With the doctrine of the resurrection we learn to kill the goat we carry within, and thus we shall form, with time, the flock of the Paschal Lamb. Thus we free ourselves from the Lord of Time, to live an infinite existence full of eternal felicity.

Chapter 1

Chapter One: ARIES (MARCH 21 – APRIL 20)

There exist four possible states of CONSCIOUSNESS for the human being: SLEEP, WAKING CONSCIOUSNESS, SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS, and OBJECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS.

Imagine for a moment, dear reader, a house with four stories. The poor INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL mistakenly called HUMAN BEING normally lives on the two lower floors, but never in life uses the two upper floors.

The INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL divides his painful and miserable life between common, ordinary sleep and the so-called WAKING state, which is unfortunately another form of sleep.

While the physical body sleeps in bed, the EGO, enveloped in its LUNAR BODIES, walks about with the consciousness asleep, like a sleepwalker, moving freely through the molecular region.

The EGO in the molecular region projects DREAMS and lives in them; there is no logic whatever in his DREAMS, no continuity, causes, effects — all the PSYCHIC functions work without any direction, and subjective images appear and disappear, incoherent scenes, vague, imprecise, etc.

When the EGO, enveloped in his LUNAR BODIES, returns to the PHYSICAL BODY, the second state of consciousness called the WAKING state comes; at bottom this is nothing other than another form of sleep.

On returning the EGO to his PHYSICAL BODY, the dreams continue within; the so-called WAKING STATE is really WAKING DREAMING.

When the Sun rises, the stars are hidden, but they do not cease to exist; so it is with dreams in the waking state — they continue secretly, they do not cease to exist.

This means that the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL mistakenly called HUMAN BEING only lives in the world of dreams; with just reason the poet said that life is a dream.

The RATIONAL ANIMAL drives cars dreaming, works in the factory, in the office, in the field, etc., dreaming; he falls in love in dreams, marries in dreams; very rarely in life is he awake; he lives in a world of dreams and firmly believes he is awake.

The Four Gospels demand AWAKENING, but unfortunately do not say how to AWAKEN.

Above all, it is necessary to understand that one is asleep; only when someone realizes fully that he is asleep does he truly enter the path of AWAKENING.

Whoever attains AWAKENING then becomes SELF-CONSCIOUS, acquires CONSCIOUSNESS of HIMSELF.

The most grave error of many ignorant PSEUDO-ESOTERICISTS and PSEUDO-OCCULTISTS is to presume to be SELF-CONSCIOUS and to believe that everyone is awake, that all people possess SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS.

If all people had Consciousness AWAKE, the Earth would be a paradise; there would be no wars, there would be no mine nor thine; everything would belong to everyone; we would live in a GOLDEN AGE.

When one AWAKENS CONSCIOUSNESS, when one becomes SELF-CONSCIOUS, when one acquires CONSCIOUSNESS OF ONESELF, it is then that one truly comes to know the TRUTH about oneself.

Before attaining the third state of CONSCIOUSNESS (SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS), one truly does not know oneself, even though one may believe that one knows oneself.

It is indispensable to acquire the third state of consciousness, to rise to the third floor of the house, before having the right to pass to the fourth floor.

The FOURTH STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, the FOURTH FLOOR of the house, is truly FORMIDABLE. Only the one who attains OBJECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS, the FOURTH STATE, can study things in themselves, the world as it is.

Whoever attains the fourth floor of the house is, beyond all doubt, an ILLUMINATED ONE; he knows through direct experience the MYSTERIES OF LIFE AND DEATH; he possesses WISDOM; his SPATIAL sense is fully developed.

During DEEP SLEEP we can have flashes of the WAKING STATE. During the WAKING STATE we can have flashes of SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS. During the STATE OF SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS we can have flashes of OBJECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS.

If we want to attain the AWAKENING OF CONSCIOUSNESS, SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS, we must work with CONSCIOUSNESS here and now. It is precisely here in this physical world where we must work to AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS; whoever awakens here awakens everywhere, in all the dimensions of the Universe.

The HUMAN ORGANISM is a LIVING ZODIAC, and in each of its twelve constellations the consciousness sleeps profoundly.

It is urgent to awaken the consciousness in each of the twelve parts of the human organism, and that is what the zodiacal exercises are for.

Aries governs the head; Taurus, the throat; Gemini, the arms, legs, and lungs; Cancer, the thymus gland; Leo, the heart; Virgo, the belly, the intestines; Libra, the kidneys; Scorpio, the sexual organs; Sagittarius, the femoral arteries; Capricorn, the knees; Aquarius, the calves; Pisces, the feet.

It is truly lamentable that this living zodiac of the MICROCOSM human being sleeps so profoundly. It becomes indispensable to attain, on the basis of tremendous SUPER-EFFORTS, the AWAKENING OF CONSCIOUSNESS in each of our twelve ZODIACAL SIGNS.

Light and Consciousness are two phenomena of one and the same thing; at a lesser degree of Consciousness, a lesser degree of light; at a greater degree of Consciousness, a greater degree of light.

We need to AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS to make each of the twelve parts of our own MICROCOSMIC zodiac shine and sparkle. All our zodiac must become light and splendor.

The work with our own Zodiac begins precisely with ARIES.

Practice

Let the DISCIPLE sit in a comfortable chair with the mind still and in silence, empty of every class of thoughts.

Let the devotee close his eyes so that nothing of the world distracts him; let him imagine that the purest light of ARIES floods his brain; let him remain in this state of meditation as long as he wishes; then he will sing the powerful Mantram AUM, opening the mouth well with the A, rounding it with the U, and closing it with the holy M.

The powerful Mantram AUM is in itself a creation TERRIBLY DIVINE, because it attracts the forces of the FATHER, the most beloved, of the SON, the most adored, and of the HOLY SPIRIT, the most wise.

The vowel A attracts the forces of the FATHER, the vowel U attracts the forces of the SON, the vowel M attracts the forces of the HOLY SPIRIT. AUM is a powerful LOGOIC MANTRAM.

The devotee must sing this powerful MANTRAM four times during this practice of ARIES, and then, standing up facing the east, he will extend his right arm forward, moving his head seven times forward, seven times backward, seven times turning to the right side, seven times turning to the left side, with the intention that the light of ARIES works within the brain, awakening the pineal and pituitary glands that allow us the perception of the SUPERIOR DIMENSIONS OF SPACE.

It is urgent that the LIGHT OF ARIES develop within our brain, awakening CONSCIOUSNESS, developing the secret powers contained in the PITUITARY and PINEAL GLANDS.

ARIES is the symbol of RA, RAMA, the lamb. The powerful MANTRAM RA, when sung properly, makes the spinal fires vibrate and the seven magnetic centers of the spinal column.

ARIES is a fire zodiacal sign; it possesses formidable energy, and the MICROCOSM HUMAN BEING captures it in accordance with his own form of thinking, feeling, and acting.

HITLER, who was a native of ARIES, used this type of energy in a destructive form; nevertheless, we must recognize that, in the beginning, before committing the folly of plunging humanity into the second world war, he used the energy of ARIES in a constructive form, elevating the standard of living of the GERMAN PEOPLE.

We have been able to verify through direct experience that the natives of ARIES quarrel a great deal with their spouse.

The natives of ARIES have a marked tendency to quarrel; they are very quarrelsome by nature.

The natives of ARIES feel capable of embarking on great enterprises and bringing them to a good end.

There exists in the natives of ARIES the grave defect of always wanting to use force of will in an egotistical, Hitler-style, ANTISOCIAL, and destructive form.

The natives of ARIES are very fond of independent life, but many Arians prefer the military, in which independence does not exist.

In the character of the Arians, pride, self-confidence, ambition, and a truly mad valor prevail.

The metal of ARIES is IRON; the stone, the RUBY; the color, RED; the element, FIRE.

Marriage with people of LIBRA suits the natives of ARIES, because fire and air understand each other very well.

If the natives of ARIES wish to be happy in marriage, they must put an end to the defect of anger.

Chapter 2

When one AWAKENS CONSCIOUSNESS, when one becomes SELF-CONSCIOUS, when one acquires CONSCIOUSNESS OF ONESELF, it is then that one truly comes to know the TRUTH about oneself.

Chapter Two: TAURUS (APRIL 21 – MAY 20)

Since Taurus is the ZODIACAL SIGN that governs the CREATIVE LARYNX, that marvelous WOMB where the Word is gestated, the VERB, it is fitting that in broad terms we understand in this lesson the words of JOHN, when he said: “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing of what is made would have been made.”

There exist seven orders of worlds, seven cosmoses created with the power of the Word, with music, with sound.

The first COSMOS is submerged in the UNCREATED LIGHT of the ABSOLUTE.

The second order of worlds is constituted by all the worlds of infinite space.

The third order of worlds is the total sum of all the suns of starry space.

The fourth order of worlds is the Sun that illuminates us, with all its laws and DIMENSIONS.

The fifth order of worlds is composed of all the planets of the solar system.

The sixth order of worlds is the Earth itself, with its seven dimensions and regions populated by infinite beings.

The seventh order of worlds is formed by those seven concentric spheres or INFERNAL WORLDS of the MINERAL KINGDOM SUBMERGED beneath the crust of the Earth.

Music, the WORD, placed by the LOGOS in seven musical octaves, sustains the Universe firm in its march.

First order of worlds, note DO. Second order of worlds, note SI. Third order of worlds, note LA. Fourth order of worlds, note SOL. Fifth order of worlds, note FA. Sixth order of worlds, note MI. Seventh order of worlds, note RE. Then everything returns to the ABSOLUTE with the note DO.

Without music, without the VERB, without the GREAT WORD, the marvelous existence of the SEVEN COSMOSES would be impossible.

DO-RE-MI-FA-SOL-LA-SI. SI-LA-SOL-FA-MI-RE-DO. The seven notes of the GREAT SCALE OF THE CREATIVE WORD resound in all that is created, because in the beginning was the WORD.

The first order of worlds is wisely governed by the ONE LAW, by the GREAT LAW. The second order of worlds is governed by THREE LAWS. The third order of worlds is governed by six laws. The fourth order of worlds is governed by twelve laws. The fifth order of worlds is governed by twenty-four laws. The sixth order of worlds is governed by forty-eight laws. The seventh order of worlds is governed by ninety-six laws.

When the WORD is spoken of, sound, music, RHYTHMS, FIRE are also spoken of, with its three beats of the MAHAVAN and the CHOTAVAN that sustain the UNIVERSE firm in its march.

The PSEUDO-OCCULTISTS and PSEUDO-ESOTERICISTS only mention the MICROCOSM and the MACROCOSM; they only cite two orders of worlds, when in reality there are SEVEN COSMOSES, seven orders of worlds sustained by the WORD, by music, by the LUMINOUS and spermatic FIAT of the first instant.

Each of the SEVEN COSMOSES is, beyond all doubt, a living organism that breathes, feels, and lives.

From the ESOTERIC point of view, we can affirm that every progress upward is the result of an advance downward. One cannot go up without going down. First one must go down and then go up.

If we wish to know one COSMOS, we must first know the two adjoining ones, the one above and the one below, because both determine all the circumstances and vital phenomena of the COSMOS we want to study, to know.

Example: In this epoch in which scientists strive for the conquest of space, tremendous, unfortunately perverse, advances are being made in the realm of the infinitely small, in the atomic world.

The creation of the SEVEN COSMOSES was only possible by means of the verb, by means of the word, by means of music.

Our GNOSTIC students must never forget what the three forces called FATHER-SON-HOLY SPIRIT are. These three forces constitute the SACRED TRIAMAZIKAMNO.

This is the SACRED AFFIRMATION, the SACRED NEGATION, the SACRED RECONCILIATION; the HOLY GOD, the HOLY FIRM, the HOLY IMMORTAL.

In electricity, these are the three poles POSITIVE-NEGATIVE-NEUTRAL. Without the concurrence of these three poles, all creation becomes impossible.

In GNOSTIC ESOTERIC SCIENCE, the THREE independent FORCES have the following names: SURP-OTHEOS; SURP-SKIROS; SURP-ATHANOTOS. IMPELLING, AFFIRMATIVE, POSITIVE FORCE. NEGATIVE FORCE, FORCE OF NEGATION, FORCE OF RESISTANCE. RECONCILING FORCE, LIBERATING FORCE, NEUTRALIZING FORCE.

These three forces in the RAY OF CREATION appear as three wills, three consciousnesses, three unities. Each of these three forces contains within ITSELF all the possibilities of the three. However, at their point of conjunction, each of them manifests only its principle: the positive, the negative, or the neutral.

It is most interesting to see the three forces in action: they separate, withdraw, and then MEET AGAIN to form new trinities that give rise to worlds, to new creations.

In the ABSOLUTE, the three forces are the ONE LOGOS, the ARMY OF THE VOICE within the GREAT UNITY of free life in its movement.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF THE SACRED COMMON COSMIC TRIAMAZIKAMNO began with the sexual connubium of the word, because in the beginning was the word, and the word was with GOD, and the word was God. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing of what is made would have been made.

In accordance with the SACRED LAW OF HEPTAPARAPARSHINOKH (THE LAW OF SEVEN), seven temples were established in the CHAOS for the construction of this solar system.

In accordance with the SACRED LAW OF TRIAMAZIKAMNO (THE LAW OF THREE), the ELOHIM divided themselves into three groups within each temple to sing in accordance with the LITURGY OF FIRE.

The work of making fecund the PRAKRITI — that is, the CHAOS, the COSMIC MOTHER, the GREAT WOMB — is always the work of the most sacred TEOMERSMA-LOGOS, the THIRD FORCE.

Within each temple the three groups were organized thus: First, a PRIEST. Second, a PRIESTESS. Third, a neutral group of ELOHIM.

If we take into account that the ELOHIM are ANDROGYNOUS, then it is clear that they had to polarize themselves at will in MASCULINE, FEMININE, and NEUTRAL form, in accordance with the SACRED COMMON COSMIC TRIAMAZIKAMNO.

The PRIEST and the PRIESTESS before the altar and on the ground floor of the temple, the ANDROGYNOUS choir of the ELOHIM.

The RITUALS OF FIRE were SUNG, and the sexual connubium of the word made fecund the GREAT WOMB of CHAOS, and the UNIVERSE was born.

The ANGELS create with the power of the word. The Larynx is the womb where the word is gestated.

We must AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS in the WORD, in the CREATIVE LARYNX, so that one day it too may pronounce the LUMINOUS AND SPERMATIC FIAT of the first instant.

CONSCIOUSNESS sleeps in our larynx; we are unconscious with the word; we need to make ourselves fully CONSCIOUS of the WORD.

They say that silence is gold. We say that there exist criminal silences. It is as evil to speak when one must remain silent, as it is to remain silent when one must speak.

There are times when speaking is a crime, there are times when being silent is also another crime.

Like a beautiful flower, full of color but lacking aroma, are the beautiful but sterile words of one who does not act in accord with what he says.

But like a beautiful flower, full of color and full of aroma, are the beautiful and fecund words of one who acts in accord with what he says.

It is urgent to put an end to the mechanicity of the word; it is necessary to speak with precision, in a CONSCIOUS and opportune form. We need to make CONSCIOUSNESS of the verb.

There is responsibility in words, and to judge with the verb is a sacrilege. No one has the right to judge anyone; it is absurd to slander one’s neighbor; it is stupid to gossip about the life of others.

Criminal words fall upon us sooner or later, like a lightning bolt of vengeance. Slanderous, infamous words always return to the one who pronounced them, transformed into stones that wound.

In other times, when human beings were not yet so mechanized with this false civilization, the cowboys took the cattle to the stable singing in a delightful and simply natural form.

The BULL, the COW, the little calf are moved by music; they correspond to the zodiacal sign of TAURUS, the constellation of the word, of music.

In the GREAT PURANIC ALLEGORY, the earth pursued by PRITHU flees, transforming herself into a COW and taking refuge in BRAHMA. But this BRAHMA is the first Person of the Hindu TRIMURTI. VACH, the COW, is the second, and VIRAJ, the DIVINE MAN, the little calf, the KABIR, the LOGOS, is the third person.

BRAHMA is the FATHER. The COW is the DIVINE MOTHER, the CHAOS; the LITTLE CALF is the KABIR, the LOGOS.

FATHER, MOTHER, SON — that is the PURANIC TRIMURTI. The FATHER is WISDOM. The MOTHER is LOVE; the SON is the LOGOS, the VERB.

The ASTRAL COW with five legs that Colonel Olcott believed he physically saw in front of the marvelous hypogeum of Karli; the strange and mysterious cow that a certain young miner sees in the Andes, as the exotic guardian of those treasures the miners of his rancheria were seeking, represents the DIVINE MOTHER, RHEA, CYBELE, totally developed in the TRUE HUMAN BEING, in the SELF-REALIZED MASTER.

GAUTAMA the BUDDHA, or GOTAMA, literally means the conductor of the COW. Every COWHERD, every conductor of the COW, can use the JAINA fire of the COW to enter the lands, palaces, temples, and cities of JINNS.

With the power of the DIVINE MOTHER we can visit the AGHARTI, the JINN cities of the subterranean world.

TAURUS invites us to REFLECTION. Let us remember that MERCURY stole the COWS OF THE SUN.

TAURUS governs the CREATIVE LARYNX. It is urgent that the KUNDALINI bloom upon our fecund lips made VERB; only thus can we use the JAINA fire to enter the KINGDOM of the JINNS.

In this epoch of TAURUS we must bring LIGHT to our creative larynx, with the purpose of preparing it for the advent of FIRE.

Practice

Let the disciple sit in a comfortable chair; let him close his physical eyes so that nothing of this vain and foolish world distracts him; let him empty his mind, casting from his mind every class of thoughts, desires, preoccupations, etc. Let him now imagine that the LIGHT accumulated during ARIES in his chalice, in his head, passes with TAURUS to the creative larynx.

Let the devotee sing the MANTRAM AUM. Let him open the mouth well with the A, imagining that the LIGHT descends from the head to the larynx; let him vocalize the U, imagining vividly that the light floods the throat; one must round the mouth well to sing the U.

The last letter is the M; closing the lips, expelling or casting forth the breath with force, as if eliminating the dross from the throat. This work is done by singing the powerful Mantram AUM four times.

In the THYROID GLAND, which secretes biological iodine, is found the magnetic center of the MAGIC EAR. With the practices of TAURUS, the MAGIC EAR is developed, the power to listen to the cosmic symphonies, the music of the spheres, the RHYTHMS OF FIRE that sustain the seven cosmoses in accordance with the law of octaves.

The THYROID GLAND is situated in the neck, in the creative larynx.

The THYROID GLAND is governed by VENUS, and the PARATHYROIDS are governed by MARS.

TAURUS is the house of VENUS. The Stone of TAURUS is the AGATE; the metal of this sign is COPPER.

In practice we have been able to verify that the TAUREANS should not marry persons of AQUARIUS, because they fail inevitably, due to the incompatibility of characters.

The sign of TAURUS is fixed, of earth, tending to stability; and since the sign of AQUARIUS is aerial, mobile, revolutionary, it is clear that they turn out incompatible.

The TAUREANS are like the ox: meek and hardworking, but when they become enraged, they are terrible as the BULL.

The TAUREANS pass in their lives through GREAT AMOROUS DISAPPOINTMENTS; they are reserved, conservative, following step by step, like the ox, on the traced path.

The TAUREANS are very sensitive; anger in the TAUREANS is of slow growth and is wont to culminate in strong volcanic explosions.

The mediocre type of TAURUS is wont to be very selfish, gluttonous, quarrelsome, passionate, irascible, prideful.

The superior type of TAURUS is full of LOVE; he loves classical music, Wisdom; he works with joy for humanity; he is very intelligent, comprehensive, faithful, sincere in friendship; a good Father, a good Mother, a good friend, a good brother, a good citizen, etc.

The MYSTIC GRANDEUR of the MITHRAIC BULL, not understood by the superficial people of this TENEBROUS epoch of the twentieth century, degenerated later into the cult of the GOLDEN CALF.

THE SACRED COW symbolizes ISIS, the DIVINE MOTHER, and her CALF or LITTLE CALF represents MERCURY, the MESSENGER of the GODS, the KABIR, the LOGOS.

In the sign of the BULL are included esoterically the PLEIADES, the Little She-Goats or CELESTIAL COWS; these latter appear to be seven, but in reality are more than two thousand, with their Maya nebulae, their principal star ALCYONE, and her companions ATLAS, TAYGETE, etc.

Around the reddish eye of the BULL, or ALDEBARAN, the only one which, with ANTARES, the heart of the SCORPION, can compete in coloration with MARS, are gathered in an extraordinary and marvelous form the telescopic HYADES, another CELESTIAL COW-HERD.

Behind the BULL comes the gigantic ORION. Above and to the North of the CONSTELLATION OF THE BULL, this celestial group exists, symbolic of King CEPHEUS, ZEPHYR or ZEPHIROS, of Queen Cassiopeia; of the Liberator Perseus with the head of the Medusa in his hands, and Andromeda, the liberated one; while in front the whale has come out, surrounded by PISCES and AQUARIUS.

The panorama of TAURUS and its neighboring sidereal regions is truly astonishing.

Our GNOSTIC students must never forget what the three forces called FATHER-SON-HOLY SPIRIT are.

Chapter Three: GEMINI (MAY 22 – JUNE 21)

IDENTIFICATION and FASCINATION lead to the SLEEP of CONSCIOUSNESS. Example: You are walking very calmly down the street; you suddenly come upon a public demonstration; the multitudes shout, the leaders of the people speak, the flags wave in the air, the people seem as if mad; everyone speaks, everyone shouts.

That PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION is very interesting; you have already forgotten everything you had to do; you identify yourselves with the multitudes; the words of the orators convince you.

So interesting is the PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION that you have already forgotten yourselves; you have IDENTIFIED yourselves so greatly with that STREET DEMONSTRATION that you no longer think of anything else; you are fascinated; now you fall into the sleep of consciousness; mixed with the multitudes that shout, you also shout, and even throw stones and insults; you are dreaming royally; you no longer know who you are; you have forgotten everything.

Let us now give another simpler example: You are in the living room of your house, seated before the television screen; cowboy scenes appear, there are gunfights, dramas of lovers, etc., etc.

The film is very interesting; it has totally captured your attention; you have already forgotten yourselves so much that you even shout enthusiastically; you are IDENTIFIED with the cowboys, with the gunfire, with the pair of lovers.

The Fascination is now terrible; you do not even remotely remember yourselves; you have entered a very deep sleep; in those moments you only want to see the triumph of the hero of the film; in those moments you only desire the fate he might have.

There are thousands and millions of circumstances that produce IDENTIFICATION, FASCINATION, SLEEP.

People IDENTIFY themselves with PERSONS, IDEAS, and every kind of IDENTIFICATION is followed by FASCINATION and SLEEP.

People live with CONSCIOUSNESS ASLEEP; they work dreaming, they drive cars dreaming, and they also kill the pedestrians who go dreaming through the streets, absorbed in their own thoughts.

During the hours of rest of the physical body, the EGO (I) leaves the PHYSICAL BODY and takes its dreams wherever it goes. On returning to the physical body, on entering again the waking state, it continues with its same dreams, and thus it spends its entire life dreaming.

Persons who die cease to exist, but the EGO, the I, continues in the SUPRASENSIBLE regions beyond death. At the hour of death the EGO takes its dreams, its worldliness, and lives in the world of the dead with its dreams; it continues dreaming, with the CONSCIOUSNESS asleep; it wanders like a sleepwalker, asleep, unconscious.

Whoever wishes to AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS must work with it here and now. We have the CONSCIOUSNESS INCARNATE, and therefore we must WORK with it here and now. Whoever AWAKENS CONSCIOUSNESS here in this world, awakens in all the Worlds.

Whoever AWAKENS CONSCIOUSNESS in this THREE-DIMENSIONAL WORLD, AWAKENS in the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh DIMENSIONS.

Whoever wishes to live CONSCIOUS in the SUPERIOR WORLDS must AWAKEN here and now.

The four gospels insist on the necessity of AWAKENING, but people do not understand.

People sleep profoundly, but believe they are awake; when someone accepts that he is asleep, it is a clear sign that he is already beginning to awaken.

It is very difficult to make other persons understand that they have their CONSCIOUSNESS asleep; people never accept the tremendous truth that they are asleep.

Whoever wishes to AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS must practice from MOMENT to MOMENT the INTIMATE SELF-REMEMBERING.

This matter of REMEMBERING oneself from MOMENT to MOMENT is in fact an intensive work.

A single moment, an instant of forgetfulness, is enough to begin dreaming royally.

We URGENTLY need to be watching all our thoughts, feelings, desires, emotions, habits, instincts, sexual impulses, etc.

Every thought, every emotion, every movement, every instinctive act, every sexual impulse must be self-observed immediately as they arise in our PSYCHE; any carelessness in attention is sufficient to fall into the sleep of CONSCIOUSNESS.

Many times you go down the street absorbed in your own thoughts, identified with those thoughts, fascinated, dreaming royally; suddenly a friend passes by you, greets you, you do not return the greeting because you do not see him, you are dreaming; the friend becomes annoyed, supposes that you are people without manners or that perhaps you are angry; the friend is also dreaming; if he were awake he would not make such conjectures about himself; he would realize immediately that you are walking along asleep.

Many are the times you mistake the door and knock where you should not knock, because you are asleep.

You are in a city transport vehicle; you must get off at a certain street, but you go identified, fascinated, dreaming royally about a business in your mind, or about a memory, or about an affection; suddenly you realize you have passed your stop; you have the vehicle stop and then walk back several streets.

It is very difficult to remain awake from moment to moment, but it is INDISPENSABLE.

When we learn to live awake from moment to moment, we then cease dreaming here and outside the physical body.

It is necessary to know that people, when they fall asleep, leave their bodies, but take their dreams with them; they live in the internal worlds dreaming, and on returning to the physical body they continue with their dreams, they continue dreaming.

When one learns to live AWAKE from moment to moment, one ceases dreaming here and in the internal worlds.

It is necessary to know that the EGO (I), enveloped in its LUNAR BODIES, LEAVES the PHYSICAL BODY when the body falls asleep; unfortunately, the EGO lives asleep in the INTERNAL WORLDS.

Within the LUNAR BODIES, besides the EGO, exists what is called ESSENCE, SOUL, FRACTION OF SOUL, BUDDHATA, CONSCIOUSNESS. It is that CONSCIOUSNESS we must AWAKEN here and now.

Here in this world we have CONSCIOUSNESS; here we must AWAKEN it, if we truly wish to cease dreaming and live conscious in the superior worlds.

The PERSON with consciousness awake, while his body reposes in his bed, lives, works, acts conscious in the SUPERIOR WORLDS.

The CONSCIOUS person has no problems of UNFOLDING; the problem of learning to UNFOLD at will is only for the SLEEPING ones.

The AWAKE person does not even concern himself with learning to unfold; he lives conscious in the SUPERIOR WORLDS, while his physical body sleeps in bed.

The awake person no longer DREAMS; during the rest of the body he lives in those regions where people walk dreaming, but with CONSCIOUSNESS AWAKE.

The AWAKE PERSON is in contact with the WHITE LODGE, visits the TEMPLES of the GREAT UNIVERSAL WHITE FRATERNITY, has interviews with his GURU-DEVA, while his body sleeps.

The INTIMATE SELF-REMEMBERING from moment to moment develops the SPATIAL sense, and then we can even see the dreams of the people who walk through the streets.

The SPATIAL SENSE includes within ITSELF sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, etc. The SPATIAL SENSE is the FUNCTIONALISM of the AWAKE CONSCIOUSNESS.

The CHAKRAS, of which the occult literature speaks, in relation to the spatial sense, are like the flame of a match in relation to the Sun.

Although the INTIMATE SELF-REMEMBERING from moment to moment is fundamental for AWAKENING CONSCIOUSNESS, it is no less so to learn to handle ATTENTION.

The GNOSTIC students must learn to divide ATTENTION into three parts: SUBJECT, OBJECT, PLACE.

SUBJECT: Do not fall into the forgetfulness of ONESELF before any representation.

OBJECT: Observe in detail every thing, every representation, every fact, every event, however insignificant it may seem, without SELF-FORGETFULNESS of ONESELF.

PLACE: Rigorous observation of the place where we find ourselves, asking ourselves: What place is this? Why am I here?

Within this factor PLACE, we must include the DIMENSIONAL question, for it could occur that we find ourselves really in the fourth or fifth DIMENSION of nature during the moment of OBSERVATION; let us remember that nature has seven DIMENSIONS.

Within the THREE-DIMENSIONAL WORLD reigns the law of gravity. Within the SUPERIOR DIMENSIONS of nature, the Law of LEVITATION exists.

On observing a place, we must never forget the matter of the seven DIMENSIONS of nature; it is then fitting to ask ourselves: In what DIMENSION am I?, and then it is necessary, as a verification, to give a little jump as long as possible with the intention of floating in the surrounding ambient. It is logical that if we float, it is because we are outside the PHYSICAL BODY. Let us never forget that when the physical body sleeps, the EGO with the LUNAR BODIES and the ESSENCE inside wanders unconscious like a sleepwalker in the MOLECULAR WORLD.

The DIVISION OF ATTENTION between SUBJECT, OBJECT, PLACE leads to the AWAKENING of CONSCIOUSNESS.

Many GNOSTIC students, after becoming accustomed to this exercise, to this DIVISION OF ATTENTION into three parts, to these questions, to this little jump, etc., during the waking state, from moment to moment, ended up practicing the same exercise during the sleep of the physical body, when really they were in the superior worlds; and on giving the famous experimental little jump, they floated deliciously in the surrounding ambient; then they awakened CONSCIOUSNESS, then they remembered that the physical body had remained asleep in bed, and full of joy they were able to dedicate themselves to the study of the MYSTERIES of life and DEATH, in the SUPERIOR DIMENSIONS.

It is only LOGICAL to say that an exercise practiced from moment to moment daily, which becomes a habit, a custom, becomes so engraved in the different zones of the MIND that afterwards it is repeated automatically during sleep, when we are really outside the physical body, and the result is the AWAKENING of CONSCIOUSNESS.

GEMINI is an air sign, governed by the PLANET MERCURY. GEMINI governs the lungs, arms, and legs.

Practice

During the ZODIACAL SIGN OF GEMINI, the Gnostic students must lie on their backs and relax the body. Then one must inhale air five times and exhale it another five times; on inhaling, one must imagine that the light previously accumulated in the larynx now acts in the bronchial tubes and lungs. On inhaling, the legs and arms will open to the right and left; on exhaling, the legs and arms will close.

The metal of GEMINI is MERCURY; the stone, the GOLDEN BERYL; the color, YELLOW.

The natives of GEMINI love travel very much; they commit the error of disdaining the wise voice of the heart; they want to resolve everything with the mind; they become angry easily; they are very dynamic, versatile, fickle, irritable, intelligent; their lives are full of successes and failures; they possess a mad valor.

The natives of Gemini are problematic because of their strange DUALISM, because of that DOUBLE PERSONALITY that characterizes them and which is symbolized among the Greeks by those MYSTERIOUS BROTHERS called CASTOR and POLLUX.

The native of GEMINI is never known how he will proceed in this or that case, precisely due to his DOUBLE PERSONALITY.

At any given moment the native of GEMINI turns out to be a very sincere friend, capable of sacrificing even his own life for friendship, for the person to whom he has offered his affection; but at any other moment, he is capable of the worst infamies against that very same beloved person.

The inferior type of GEMINI is very dangerous, and therefore his friendship is not advisable.

The most grave defect of the natives of GEMINI is the tendency to falsely judge all persons.

The twins CASTOR and POLLUX invite us to reflection. It is known, indeed, that in nature the manifested matter and the hidden energy symbolized in heat, light, electricity, the chemical forces, and other superior ones still unknown to us, process themselves always in inverse form, and the appearance of one always presupposes the ENTROPY or DISAPPEARANCE of the other, no more and no less than the MYSTERIOUS BROTHERS CASTOR and POLLUX, symbol of such phenomenon among the Greeks. They lived and died alternately, as alternately are born and die, appear and disappear, wherever matter and energy.

The process of GEMINI is vital in COSMOGENESIS. The original Earth was a sun that condensed gradually at the expense of a nebulous ring, until the lamentable state of darkened planet, when the first solid film of our globe was determined by irradiation or cooling, through the chemical phenomenon of dissipation or ENTROPY of energy that constitutes the gross states of matter we call solid and liquid.

All these changes in nature are performed in accordance with the intimate processes of CASTOR and POLLUX.

In these times of the Twentieth Century, life has already begun its return to the ABSOLUTE, and gross matter is beginning to transform into ENERGY. We have been told that in the FIFTH ROUND the EARTH will be a corpse, a new MOON, and that life will develop with all its constructive and destructive processes within the etheric world.

From the ESOTERIC point of view we can affirm that CASTOR and POLLUX are the twin souls.

The BEING, the INNERMOST of each of us, has two TWIN SOULS, the SPIRITUAL and the HUMAN.

In the common, ordinary INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL, the BEING, the INNERMOST, does not BE BORN nor die nor is REINCARNATED, but he does send to each new PERSONALITY the ESSENCE; this is a FRACTION of the HUMAN SOUL; the BUDDHATA.

It is urgent to know that the BUDDHATA, the ESSENCE, is deposited within the LUNAR BODIES with which the EGO clothes itself.

Speaking somewhat more plainly, we shall say that the ESSENCE is unfortunately bottled up within the LUNAR EGO. The lost ones descend.

The descent into the INFERNAL WORLDS has for its sole object to destroy the LUNAR BODIES and the EGO, by means of SUBMERGED INVOLUTION. Only by destroying the bottle does the ESSENCE escape.

All those incessant changes of MATTER into ENERGY and energy into matter always invite us to reflect in GEMINI.

Gemini is intimately related to the bronchial tubes, lungs, and breathing. The MICROCOSM-HUMAN-BEING is made in the image and likeness of the MACROCOSM.

THE EARTH also breathes. The earth inhales the vital SULFUR of the SUN and then exhales it already converted into terrestrial SULFUR; this is analogous to the human being who inhales pure oxygen and exhales it converted into carbon dioxide.

This vital wave, alternately ascending and descending, true systole and diastole, inspiration and expiration, arises from the deepest bosom of the earth.

Chapter 4

Whoever wishes to AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS must practice from MOMENT to MOMENT the INTIMATE SELF-REMEMBERING.

Chapter Four: CANCER (JUNE 22 – JULY 23)

“On leaving the body, taking the path of fire, of the light of day, of the luminous fortnight of the Moon and of the northern solstice, the knowers of BRAHMA go to BRAHMA” (Bhagavad Gita 8:24).

“The YOGI who, on dying, goes by the path of smoke, of the dark fortnight of the Moon, and of the southern solstice arrives at the Lunar sphere, and then is reborn” (Bhagavad Gita 8:25).

“These two paths, the luminous and the dark, are considered permanent. By the first, one is emancipated; and by the second, one is reborn” (Bhagavad Gita 8:26).

“The BEING is not born, nor dies, nor reincarnates; he has no origin; he is eternal, immutable, the first of all, and does not die when the body is killed” (Bhagavad Gita 2:20).

The EGO is born, the EGO dies. Distinguish between the EGO and the BEING. The BEING does not BE BORN, nor die, nor REINCARNATE.

“The fruits of actions are of three classes: unpleasant, pleasant, and the mixture of both. Those fruits adhere, after death, to him who has not renounced them, but not to the man of renunciation” (Bhagavad Gita 18:12).

“Learn from ME, O thou of mighty arms, about these five causes connected with the accomplishment of actions, according to the highest Wisdom, which is the end of all action” (Bhagavad Gita 18:13).

“The body, the EGO, the organs, the functions, and the Deities (PLANETS) that preside over the organs — those are the five causes” (Bhagavad Gita 18:14).

“Any act, due or undue, whether physical, verbal, or mental, has those five causes” (Bhagavad Gita 18:15).

“Such being the case, he who, owing to defective comprehension, considers ATMAN (THE BEING), the ABSOLUTE, as the actor, that fool does not see REALITY” (Bhagavad Gita 81:16).

The BHAGAVAD GITA, then, makes a difference between the EGO (I) and the BEING (ATMAN).

The INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL mistakenly called HUMAN BEING is a compound of BODY, EGO (I), ORGANS, and functions. A machine moved by the DEITIES, or better said, by the PLANETS.

Many times any cosmic catastrophe is enough so that the waves that reach the earth cast those sleeping human machines into the battlefields. Millions of asleep machines, against millions of asleep machines.

The MOON brings EGOS to the womb, and the MOON takes them away. Max Heindel says that CONCEPTION is always performed when the MOON is in CANCER. Without the Moon, conception is impossible.

The first seven years of life are governed by the MOON. The second seven years of life are MERCURIAN one hundred percent; then the child goes to School, is restless, in incessant movement.

The third septennium of life, the tender adolescence between fourteen and twenty-one years of age, is governed by Venus, the Star of love; that is the age of the pang, the age of love, the age in which we see life in pink.

From 21 (TWENTY-ONE) to 42 (FORTY-TWO) years of age, we must occupy our little place under the Sun and define our life. This epoch is governed by the Sun.

The SEPTENNIUM between forty-two and forty-nine years of age is MARTIAN one hundred percent, and life then becomes a true battlefield, because MARS is war.

The period between forty-nine and fifty-six years of age is JUPITERIAN; those who have JUPITER well situated in their horoscope, it is clear that during this epoch of their life are respected by everyone, and if they do not possess the UNNECESSARY WORLDLY RICHES, they have at least what is necessary to be able to live very well.

Another is the fate of those who have JUPITER poorly situated in their horoscope; those persons then suffer unspeakably, they lack bread, shelter, refuge, are mistreated by others, etc., etc., etc.

The period of life between fifty-six and sixty-three years is governed by the old man of the heavens, old Saturn.

Truly old age begins at fifty-six years. After the period of Saturn, the MOON returns; she brings the EGO to BIRTH, and she takes it away.

If we carefully observe the life of very advanced elders, we can verify that they certainly return to the age of children; some little old men and little old women return to playing with little cars and dolls. The elders over sixty-three years of age and children under seven are governed by the MOON.

“Among thousands of human beings, perhaps one strives to attain PERFECTION; among those who strive, perhaps one attains perfection; and among the perfect ones, perhaps one knows me perfectly” (Bhagavad Gita 7:3).

The EGO is LUNAR, and on leaving the physical body it goes by the path of smoke, of the dark fortnight of the MOON, and of the southern SOLSTICE, and soon returns to a new womb. The MOON takes it and the MOON brings it; that is the LAW.

The EGO is clothed in LUNAR BODIES. The internal vehicles studied by THEOSOPHY are of LUNAR nature.

The sacred scriptures of the JAINAS say: “THE UNIVERSE IS POPULATED BY DIVERSE CREATURES EXISTING IN SAMSARA, BORN OF DIFFERENT FAMILIES AND CASTES. BY HAVING COMMITTED VARIOUS ACTIONS, AND ACCORDING TO HOW THESE WERE, THUS THEY GO SOMETIMES TO THE WORLD OF THE GODS, SOMETIMES TO HELL, AND SOMETIMES THEY BECOME ASURAS (DIABOLICAL PERSONS). THUS THE LIVING BEINGS DO NOT FIND SAMSARA REPUGNANT, AS THEY ARE INCESSANTLY BORN AND REBORN THROUGH THE FAULT OF THEIR BAD ACTIONS.”

The MOON takes away all the EGOS, but does not bring them all back. In these times the majority enter the INFERNAL-WORLDS, in the SUBLUNAR regions, in the MINERAL KINGDOM SUBMERGED, in the outer darkness where only the weeping and gnashing of teeth is heard.

Many are those who return in mediate or immediate form, taken and brought by the MOON, without having enjoyed the delights of the superior worlds.

The PERFECT ones, the chosen, those who have DISSOLVED the EGO; FABRICATED their SOLAR BODIES, and SACRIFICED themselves for HUMANITY, are BLESSED; on leaving the physical body with death, they take the path of fire, of the light of day, of the luminous fortnight of the MOON, and of the northern solstice; they have INCARNATED the BEING; they know BRAHMA (THE FATHER WHO IS IN SECRET), and it is clear that they go to BRAHMA (THE FATHER).

JAINISM says that during this GREAT DAY of BRAHMA, twenty-four MAJOR PROPHETS descend to this world who have attained TOTAL PERFECTION.

The GNOSTIC scriptures say there are TWELVE SAVIORS, that is: twelve AVATARS; but if we think of a JOHN THE BAPTIST as a precursor and a JESUS as an AVATAR for PISCES, the era which has just passed, then we can understand that for each of the twelve zodiacal eras there always exists a precursor and an AVATAR — total twenty-four GREAT PROPHETS.

MAHAVIRA was the PRECURSOR OF BUDDHA, and JOHN THE BAPTIST that of JESUS.

The SACRED RASKOARNO (DEATH) is full of profound interior beauty. Only the one who has EXPERIENCED directly its profound SIGNIFICANCE knows the TRUTH about DEATH.

The MOON takes away and brings back the deceased. The extremes touch. Death and conception are intimately united. The path of LIFE is formed by the hoof-prints of the HORSE OF DEATH.

The disintegration of all the elements that constitute the physical body gives rise to a very special vibration that passes invisible through space and time.

Similar to the waves of TELEVISION which carry images are the vibratory waves of the deceased. What the screen is to the WAVES of the broadcasting stations, the embryo is to the waves of death.

The VIBRATORY WAVES OF DEATH carry the IMAGE of the deceased. This image is deposited in the fertilized egg.

Under the LUNAR INFLUENCE the SPERM penetrates through the covering of the egg, which instantaneously closes again, imprisoning it. There it generates a most interesting field of attraction, attracting and being attracted toward the feminine nucleus that silently waits at the center of the egg.

When these two CAPITAL NUCLEI fuse into a single UNITY, the CHROMOSOMES then initiate their famous dance, entwining and re-entwining in an instant. Thus the DESIGN of someone who agonized and died comes to crystallize in the embryo.

Each ordinary CELL of the human organism contains forty-eight laws of the world in which we live.

The reproductive cells of the organism contain only one CHROMOSOME of each pair, but in their union they produce the new combination of forty-eight, which makes each embryo unique and different.

Every human form, every organism, is a precious machine. Each CHROMOSOME bears within itself the seal of some function, quality, or special characteristic; one pair determines sex, since the duality of this pair is what produces FEMALES.

The odd CHROMOSOME gives rise to males. Let us remember the Biblical legend of EVE made from a rib of ADAM, and having, therefore, one rib more than he.

The CHROMOSOMES in THEMSELVES are composed of GENES, and each of these of a few molecules. Truly the GENES constitute the frontier between this world and the other, between the third and the fourth dimension.

The waves of the dying, the waves of death, act upon the GENES, ordering them within the FERTILIZED EGG. Thus is remade the lost physical body; thus the design of the deceased becomes visible in the embryo.

During the epoch of CANCER, our GNOSTIC disciples must PRACTICE before falling asleep in their bed a RETROSPECTIVE EXERCISE over their own life, like someone who is seeing a film from the end to the beginning, or like someone who reads a book from the end to the beginning, from the last page to the first.

The object of this RETROSPECTIVE EXERCISE over our own life is to SELF-KNOW ourselves, to SELF-DISCOVER ourselves.

To RECOGNIZE our good and bad actions, to study our own LUNAR EGO, to make CONSCIOUS the SUBCONSCIOUS.

It is necessary to arrive in RETROSPECTIVE form up to BIRTH and remember it; a superior effort will allow the student to connect his BIRTH with the DEATH of his past physical body. SLEEP combined with MEDITATION, with the RETROSPECTIVE EXERCISE, will permit us to remember our present life and the past and previous existences.

The RETROSPECTIVE EXERCISE allows us to become conscious of our own LUNAR EGO, of our own errors. Let us remember that the EGO is a BUNDLE of MEMORIES, desires, passions, angers, greed, lusts, pride, sloth, gluttony, self-love, resentments, vengeances, etc.

If we want to dissolve the EGO, we must first study it. The EGO is the root of ignorance and of pain.

Only the BEING, ATMAN, is PERFECT, but HE is not BORN nor dies nor REINCARNATES; thus said KRISHNA in the BHAGAVAD GITA.

If the student falls asleep during the RETROSPECTIVE EXERCISE, so much the better, because in the INTERNAL WORLDS he will be able to SELF-KNOW himself, to remember all his life and all his past lives.

Just as the SURGEON needs to study a cancerous tumor before extirpating it, so the GNOSTIC needs to study his own EGO before EXTIRPATING it.

During CANCER, the forces accumulated in BRONCHIAL TUBES and LUNGS by GEMINI must now pass in CANCER to the THYMUS GLAND.

The COSMIC FORCES that ascend through our organism encounter in the THYMUS GLAND the forces that descend, and the two interlinked triangles are formed, the seal of SOLOMON.

The DISCIPLE must meditate daily on this SEAL OF SOLOMON forming itself in the THYMUS GLAND.

We have been told that the THYMUS GLAND regulates the growth of children. It is interesting that the MAMMARY GLANDS of the MOTHER are intimately related to the THYMUS GLAND. That is why mother’s MILK can never be substituted by any other nourishment for the child.

The natives of CANCER have a character as variable as the phases of the MOON.

The natives of CANCER are peaceful by nature, but when they become enraged, they are terrible.

The natives of CANCER have a disposition for manual arts, practical arts.

The natives of CANCER have lively IMAGINATION, but they must guard against FANTASY.

CONSCIOUS IMAGINATION is advisable. The mechanical imagination called FANTASY is absurd.

The CANCERIANS have a soft, withdrawn, and reserved nature; domestic virtues.

In CANCER we find at times some individuals too passive, slack, lazy.

THE NATIVES OF CANCER are very fond of novels, films, etc.

The metal OF CANCER is SILVER. The stone, the PEARL; the color, WHITE.

CANCER, the sign of the CRAB or of the SACRED SCARAB, is the house of the MOON.

To RECOGNIZE our good and bad actions, to study our own LUNAR EGO, to make CONSCIOUS the SUBCONSCIOUS.

Chapter Five: LEO (JULY 22 – AUGUST 23)

ANNIE BESANT recounts a case of MASTER NANAK that is well worth transcribing:

“It was Friday that day, and when the hour of prayer arrived, master and servant proceeded to the mosque. When the KARI (MUSLIM PRIEST) began the prayers, the NABOB and his entourage prostrated themselves, as prescribed by the MAHOMETAN RITE; NANAK remained standing, motionless and silent. When the prayer ended, the NABOB turned to the young man and asked him indignantly: ‘Why have you not fulfilled the ceremonies of the Law? You are a liar and an impostor. You should not have come here only to stand like a post.’”

NANAK REPLIED: “You prostrated yourselves face to the ground while your mind wandered in the clouds, because you were thinking of bringing horses from KANDAHAR, not of reciting the prayer. As for the Priest, he automatically practiced the ceremonies of prostration, while his thought was on saving the she-ass that gave birth a few days ago. How was I to pray with people who kneel from routine and repeat the words like a parrot?”

“The NABOB confessed that in fact he had been thinking during all the ceremony of the projected purchase of horses. As for the KARI, he openly manifested his displeasure and pressed the young man with many questions.”

Truly it is necessary to learn to PRAY scientifically; whoever learns to combine PRAYER intelligently with MEDITATION will obtain marvelous OBJECTIVE results.

But it is urgent to understand that there are different PRAYERS and that their results are different.

There exist PRAYERS accompanied by petitions, but not all prayers are accompanied by petitions.

There are very ancient PRAYERS that are true RECAPITULATIONS of COSMIC events, and we can experience all their content if we meditate on each word, on each phrase, with true conscious devotion.

THE OUR FATHER is a MAGIC formula of immense SACERDOTAL power, but it is urgent to understand deeply and totally the profound meaning of each word, of each phrase, of each entreaty.

The OUR FATHER is a prayer of petition, a prayer to speak with the FATHER who is in secret. The OUR FATHER combined with deep MEDITATION produces MARVELOUS OBJECTIVE results.

The GNOSTIC RITUALS, the RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES, are true treatises of OCCULT WISDOM, for those who know how to meditate, for those who understand them with the heart.

Whoever wishes to travel the PATH OF THE TRANQUIL HEART must fix the PRANA, LIFE, the SEXUAL FORCE in the brain, and the mind in the HEART.

It is URGENT to learn to think with the heart, to deposit the mind in the HEART TEMPLE. The CROSS of INITIATION is always received in the marvelous TEMPLE of the heart.

NANAK, the Master founder of the SIKH RELIGION in the sacred land of the VEDAS, taught the path of the HEART.

NANAK taught the fraternity among all RELIGIONS, Schools, sects, etc.

When we attack all the Religions, or in particular some religion, we commit the offense of violating the LAW of the HEART.

In the HEART-TEMPLE there is room for all RELIGIONS, SECTS, ORDERS, etc., etc., etc.

All the RELIGIONS are precious pearls strung on the golden thread of the DIVINITY.

Our GNOSTIC MOVEMENT is constituted by people of all Religions, Schools, Sects, spiritual Societies, etc., etc., etc.

In the HEART-TEMPLE there is room for all Religions, for all cults. Jesus said: “By your loving one another, you shall prove that you are my Disciples.”

The SIKH Scriptures, like those of every RELIGION, are truly ineffable.

Among the SIKHS, OMKARA is the PRIMARY DIVINE BEING who created heaven, earth, the waters, all that exists.

OMKARA is the “PRIMARY SPIRIT, UNMANIFESTED, IMPERISHABLE, without beginning of days, without end of days, whose Light illuminates the FOURTEEN MANSIONS, instantaneous knower; internal regulator of every heart.”

“Space is your dominion. The SUN and the MOON your lamps. The army of stars your pearls. O Father! The fragrant breeze of the Himalayas is your incense. The wind fans you. The vegetable kingdom offers you flowers, O light! For you the hymns of praise, O destroyer of fear! The ANATAL SHABDHA (VIRGIN SOUND) resounds as your drums. You have no eyes and you have them by thousands. You have no feet and you have them by thousands. You have no nose and you have them by thousands. This your marvelous work captivates us. Your light, O glory! is in all things. From all beings radiates the Light of your Light. From the teachings of the Master radiates this light. He is an ARHAT.”

The GREAT MASTER NANAK, in accordance with the UPANISHADS, understands that BRAHMA (THE FATHER) is ONE and that the INEFFABLE GODS are only his thousand partial manifestations, reflections of the ABSOLUTE BEAUTY.

The GURU-DEVA is the one who is already one with the FATHER (BRAHMA). Blessed is the one who has a GURU-DEVA for guide and guide. Blessed is the one who has found the MASTER of PERFECTION.

The path is narrow, strait, and frightfully difficult. The GURU-DEVA is needed, the guide, the orientator.

In the HEART-TEMPLE we shall find HARI, THE BEING. In the HEART-TEMPLE we shall find the GURU-DEVA.

Now we shall transcribe some SIKH stanzas on Devotion to the GURU-DEVA.

“O NANAK! Recognize him as the true GURU, the beloved one who unites you with the whole…”

“A hundred times a day would I sacrifice myself for my GURU, who has converted me into GOD in a short time.”

“Though a hundred Moons and a thousand Suns shone, profound darkness would reign without the GURU.”

“Blessed be my Venerable GURU who knows HARI (THE BEING) and has taught us to treat friends and enemies equally.”

“O Lord! Favor us with the company of GURU-DEVA, so that together with HIM, we, lost sinners, may swim across the crossing.”

“GURU-DEVA, the true GURU, is PARABRAHMAN, the Supreme Lord. NANAK prostrates himself before the GURU DEVA HARI.”

In HINDUSTAN a SAMYASIN of thought is one who serves the true GURU-DEVA, who has already found him in the heart, who works in the DISSOLUTION OF THE LUNAR EGO.

Whoever wishes to put an end to the EGO, to the I, must annihilate ANGER, GREED, LUST, ENVY, PRIDE, SLOTH, GLUTTONY. Only by putting an end to all these defects on all LEVELS of the MIND does the I die in a RADICAL, total, and definitive form.

MEDITATION on the name of HARI (THE BEING) allows us to experience the REAL, the true.

It is necessary to learn to PRAY the OUR FATHER, to learn to speak with BRAHMA (THE FATHER) who is in secret.

A single OUR FATHER well prayed and wisely combined with MEDITATION is a whole WORK of high magic.

A single OUR FATHER well prayed is performed in an hour or in somewhat more than an hour.

After prayer one must know how to await the response of the FATHER, and this means knowing how to meditate, to have the mind still and in silence, empty of every thought, awaiting the response of the FATHER.

When the MIND is still within and without, when the MIND is in SILENCE within and without, when the mind has freed itself from DUALISM, then the NEW comes to us.

It is necessary to EMPTY the mind of every kind of thoughts, desires, passions, cravings, fears, etc., so that the experience of the REAL may come to us.

The irruption of the VOID, the EXPERIENCE in the ILLUMINATING VOID, is only possible when the ESSENCE, the SOUL, the BUDDHATA, frees itself from the intellectual bottle.

The ESSENCE is bottled up in the tremendous battling of the opposites: cold and heat, like and dislike, yes and no, good and evil, agreeable and disagreeable.

When the MIND is still, when the MIND is in silence, then the ESSENCE remains free and the EXPERIENCE of the REAL comes in the ILLUMINATING VOID.

PRAY, then, good DISCIPLE, and then with the mind very still and in silence, EMPTY of every kind of thoughts, await the response of the FATHER: “Ask and it shall be given to you; knock and it shall be opened to you.”

To PRAY is to converse with GOD, and certainly one must learn to converse with the FATHER, with BRAHMA.

The HEART TEMPLE is a house of PRAYER. In the heart temple the forces that come from above meet the forces that come from below, forming the seal of SOLOMON.

It is necessary to pray and to MEDITATE profoundly. It is urgent to know how to relax the physical body so that MEDITATION may be correct.

Before beginning the combined practices of PRAYER and MEDITATION, relax the body well.

Practice

Let the GNOSTIC Disciple lie down in the DORSAL DECUBITUS position — that is, lying on his back on the floor or on a bed, legs and arms opened to the right and left, in the form of a five-pointed STAR.

This PENTAGONAL STAR position is formidable due to its profound significance, but those persons who, by some circumstance, cannot meditate in this position, then let them meditate placing their body in the POSITION OF THE DEAD MAN: heels together, points of the feet opening in fan shape, arms against the sides without bending, placed along the trunk.

The eyes must be closed so that the things of the physical world do not distract you. Sleep duly combined with MEDITATION turns out to be very indispensable for the good success of MEDITATION.

It is necessary to try to relax totally all the muscles of the body, and then to concentrate ATTENTION on the tip of the nose until feeling fully the pulse of the heart in that organ of smell; then we will continue with the right ear until feeling the pulse of the heart in it; after that we will continue with the right hand, right foot, left foot, left hand, left ear, and again, feeling fully the pulse of the heart separately in each of these organs where we have fixed ATTENTION.

The control over the physical body begins with control over the pulse. The pulse of the tranquil heart is felt at once throughout the organism, but the GNOSTICS can feel it at will in any part of the body — be it the tip of the nose, an ear, an arm, a foot, etc.

It is demonstrated by practice that, by acquiring the possibility of regulating, accelerating, or diminishing the pulse, the heartbeats can be accelerated or diminished.

The control over the palpitations of the heart can never come from the muscles of the heart, but depends totally on the control of the pulse. This is, beyond all doubt, the SECOND BEAT or GREAT HEART.

The control of the pulse, or control of the second heart, is attained totally by means of the ABSOLUTE RELAXATION of all the muscles.

By means of ATTENTION we can accelerate or diminish the PULSATIONS of the SECOND HEART and the beats of the first heart.

SAMADHI, ECSTASY, SATORI, always occur with very slow pulsations, and in the MAHA-SAMADHI the pulsations cease.

During SAMADHI the ESSENCE, the BUDDHATA, escapes from the PERSONALITY, then it FUSES with the BEING, and the EXPERIENCE of the REAL comes in the ILLUMINATING VOID.

Only in the absence of the I can we speak with the FATHER, BRAHMA.

PRAY and MEDITATE so that you may hear the VOICE of the SILENCE.

LEO is the throne of the SUN, the heart of the ZODIAC. LEO governs the human heart.

The SUN of the organism is the HEART. In the heart, the forces from above mix with those from below, so that those from below may be liberated.

The metal of LEO is pure GOLD. The stone of LEO is the DIAMOND; the color of LEO is GOLDEN.

In practice we have been able to verify that the natives of LEO are like the LION: valiant, irascible, noble, dignified, constant.

However, there are many kinds of people, and it is clear that among the natives of LEO we also find haughty, proud, unfaithful, tyrannical ones, etc.

The natives of LEO have organizational aptitudes; they develop the feeling and the bravery of the LION. The developed persons of this sign come to be GREAT PALADINS.

The mediocre type of LEO is very sentimental and irascible. The mediocre type of LEO overestimates his own capacities too much.

In every native of LEO there always exists the MYSTIC, already elevated or in incipient state; everything depends on the type of person.

The natives of LEO are always predisposed to suffer accidents to the arms and hands.

Chapter Six: VIRGO (AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 23)

The PRAKRITI is the DIVINE MOTHER, the PRIMORDIAL SUBSTANCE of nature.

In the Universe there exist various substances, distinct elements and sub-elements, but all of this consists of different modifications of a SINGLE SUBSTANCE.

The PRIMORDIAL MATTER is the PURE AKASHA contained in all space, the GREAT MOTHER, the PRAKRITI.

MAHAMANVANTARA and PRALAYA are two very important SANSKRIT terms with which the GNOSTIC students must become familiar.

MAHAMANVANTARA is the GREAT COSMIC DAY. PRALAYA is the GREAT COSMIC NIGHT. During the GREAT DAY, the universe exists. When the GREAT NIGHT arrives, the universe ceases to exist; it dissolves in the bosom of the PRAKRITI.

The immeasurable infinite space is full of SOLAR SYSTEMS that have their MAHAMANVANTARAS and their PRALAYAS.

While some are in MAHAMANVANTARA, others are in PRALAYA.

Millions and billions of UNIVERSES are born and die in the bosom of the PRAKRITI.

Every COSMOS is born from the PRAKRITI and dissolves in the PRAKRITI. Every world is a ball of fire that ignites and is extinguished in the bosom of the PRAKRITI.

Everything is born of the PRAKRITI; everything returns to the PRAKRITI. She is the GREAT MOTHER.

The BHAGAVAD GITA says: “The GREAT PRAKRITI is MY womb; there I place the germ, and from her, O Bharata!, all beings are born.”

“O Kounteya!, the PRAKRITI is the true womb of whatsoever is born from different wombs, and I am the PATERNAL germinator.”

“SATTVA, RAJAS, and TAMAS — these three GUNAS (aspects or qualities), born of the PRAKRITI, O thou of mighty arms!, bind the body firmly to the incarnated being.”

“Of them, the SATTVA, which is pure, luminous, and good, binds the incarnated being, O sinless one!, by means of attachment to happiness and to knowledge.”

“O KOUNTEYA!, know that RAJAS is of passionate nature and is the source of DESIRE and of attachment; this GUNA binds firmly the incarnated being to action.”

“O Bharata!, know that TAMAS is born of ignorance and beguiles all beings; it binds the incarnated being by means of inadvertence, sloth, and sleep” (CONSCIOUSNESS ASLEEP, SLEEP OF CONSCIOUSNESS).

During the GREAT PRALAYA these THREE GUNAS are in perfect equilibrium on the GREAT BALANCE of JUSTICE; when the disequilibrium of the three GUNAS occurs, the dawn of the MAHAMANVANTARA begins, and the UNIVERSE is born from the bosom of the PRAKRITI.

During the GREAT PRALAYA, the PRAKRITI is UNI-TOTAL, INTEGRAL. In the MANIFESTATION, in the MAHAMANVANTARA, the PRAKRITI differentiates itself into THREE COSMIC ASPECTS.

The three aspects of the PRAKRITI during the MANIFESTATION are: First, that of INFINITE SPACE; Second, that of NATURE; Third, that of the HUMAN BEING.

The DIVINE MOTHER in infinite space; the DIVINE MOTHER in NATURE; the DIVINE MOTHER in the human being. These are the THREE MOTHERS; the THREE MARYS of CHRISTIANITY.

GNOSTIC students must understand very well these three aspects of the PRAKRITI, for this is fundamental in the ESOTERIC work. Moreover, it is URGENT to know that the PRAKRITI has her particularity in each human being.

GNOSTIC students must not be surprised if we affirm that the particular PRAKRITI of each human being has even its individual name. This means that we also each of us have a DIVINE MOTHER. To understand this is FUNDAMENTAL for the ESOTERIC WORK.

SECOND BIRTH is another matter. The THIRD LOGOS, the SACRED FIRE, must first make fecund the sacred womb of the DIVINE MOTHER; then comes the SECOND BIRTH.

She, the PRAKRITI, is always VIRGIN, before the birth, in the birth, and after the birth.

In the eighth chapter of this book we shall treat in depth the practical work related to the SECOND BIRTH. Now we only give some guiding ideas.

Every MASTER of the WHITE LODGE has his particular divine mother, his PRAKRITI.

Every MASTER is the son of an immaculate virgin. If we study comparative Religions, we shall discover everywhere immaculate conceptions; JESUS is conceived by the operation and grace of the HOLY SPIRIT, the MOTHER of JESUS was an IMMACULATE VIRGIN.

The Religious Scriptures say that BUDDHA, JUPITER, ZEUS, APOLLO, QUETZALCOATL, FUJI, LAO-TZU, etc., etc., were sons of IMMACULATE VIRGINS, virgins before the birth, in the birth, and after the birth.

In the sacred land of the VEDAS, DEVAKI, the HINDU VIRGIN conceived KRISHNA, and in BETHLEHEM the VIRGIN MARY conceived JESUS.

In YELLOW CHINA, on the shores of the FUJI river, the VIRGIN HO-AE stepped on the footprint of the GREAT MAN; a marvelous brilliance covered her, and her entrails conceived by the operation and grace of the HOLY SPIRIT the CHINESE CHRIST FUJI.

It is a basic condition for the SECOND BIRTH that first the THIRD LOGOS intervene, the HOLY SPIRIT, fecundating the VIRGINAL WOMB of the DIVINE MOTHER.

The SEXUAL FIRE of the THIRD LOGOS in HINDUSTAN is known by the name of KUNDALINI and is symbolized by a serpent of burning fire.

The DIVINE MOTHER is ISIS, TONANTZIN, KALI or PARVATI, the wife of SHIVA, the THIRD LOGOS, and her most powerful symbol is the SACRED COW.

The serpent must rise through the medullary canal of the SACRED COW; the serpent must make fecund the womb of the DIVINE MOTHER; only thus comes the immaculate conception and the SECOND BIRTH.

The KUNDALINI, in itself, is a SOLAR fire enclosed within a MAGNETIC center situated in the coccyx, base of the spinal column.

When the sacred fire awakens, it rises through the medullary canal along the spinal column, opening the seven centers of the spinal column and fecundating the PRAKRITI.

The FIRE of the KUNDALINI has seven degrees of power, and it is necessary to ascend that septenary scale of FIRE in order to attain the second birth.

When the PRAKRITI is made fecund with the flaming fire, she has formidable powers with which to help us.

TO BE BORN anew is equivalent to ENTERING the KINGDOM. It is very rare to find a twice-born. Rare is the one who is BORN a SECOND TIME.

Whoever wishes to BE BORN anew, whoever wishes to attain the FINAL LIBERATION, must eliminate from his nature the THREE GUNAS of the PRAKRITI.

Whoever does not eliminate the GUNA SATTVA is lost in the labyrinth of THEORIES and abandons the ESOTERIC WORK.

Whoever does not eliminate RAJAS fortifies the LUNAR EGO through ANGER, GREED, LUST.

We must not forget that RAJAS is the very ROOT of animal desire and of the most violent passions.

RAJAS is the ROOT of all concupiscence. This latter, in itself, is the origin of all desire.

Whoever wishes to eliminate DESIRE must first eliminate the GUNA RAJAS.

Whoever does not eliminate TAMAS will always have CONSCIOUSNESS asleep, will be lazy, will abandon the ESOTERIC WORK due to laxness, inertia, sloth, lack of will, lukewarmness, lack of spiritual enthusiasm, will be a victim of the foolish illusions of this world, and will succumb in ignorance.

It is said that after death, people of SATTVIC temperament go on vacation to the paradises or molecular and electronic KINGDOMS, where infinite bliss is enjoyed before RETURNING to a new womb.

The INITIATES know very well, by direct experience, that people of RAJASIC temperament are REINCORPORATED or RETURN to this world IMMEDIATELY or remain at the threshold awaiting the opportunity to enter a new womb, but without having the bliss of a vacation in the different KINGDOMS of happiness.

Every ILLUMINATED one knows with complete SECURITY that after death persons of TAMASIC temperament enter the INFERNAL-WORLDS, situated by DANTE in his DIVINE COMEDY, beneath the crust of the earth, within the entrails of the subterranean world.

It is URGENT to eliminate from our inner nature the three GUNAS, if we truly wish to successfully carry out the ESOTERIC WORK.

The BHAGAVAD GITA says: “When the wise sees that only the GUNAS are what act, and knows HIM who is beyond the GUNAS, then he arrives at my BEING.”

Many would like a technique to eliminate the three GUNAS; we affirm that only by DISSOLVING the LUNAR EGO can one successfully eliminate the three GUNAS.

He who remains indifferent and is not disturbed by the GUNAS, who has realized that only the GUNAS function, and remains firm without wavering, it is because he has already DISSOLVED the LUNAR EGO.

He who feels himself equal in pleasure or in pain, who dwells in his own BEING; who gives equal value to a piece of clay, to a small stone, or to a nugget of gold; who maintains himself equanimous before the agreeable and the disagreeable, before censure or praise, in honor or in dishonor, before friend or enemy, and who has renounced every new EGOTISTICAL and earthly enterprise, it is because he has already eliminated the THREE GUNAS and DISSOLVED the LUNAR EGO.

He who no longer has concupiscence, who has extinguished the fire of LUST in all the forty-nine SUBCONSCIOUS departments of the mind, has eliminated the THREE GUNAS and dissolved the LUNAR EGO.

“The earth, the water, the fire, the air, the space, the mind, the intellect, and the EGO, are the eight categories into which my PRAKRITI is divided.” Thus it is written; these are the words of the blessed one.

“When the GREAT COSMIC DAY dawns, all beings manifest themselves, proceeding from the UNMANIFESTED PRAKRITI; and at sunset, they disappear into the same UNMANIFESTED.”

Behind the UNMANIFESTED PRAKRITI is the UNMANIFESTED ABSOLUTE. It is necessary to enter first the UNMANIFESTED before submerging ourselves in the BOSOM of the UNMANIFESTED ABSOLUTE.

The Blessed MOTHER GODDESS OF THE WORLD is that which is called LOVE. She is ISIS, whose veil no mortal has lifted; in the flame of the SERPENT we adore her.

All the GREAT RELIGIONS rendered cult to the COSMIC MOTHER; she is ADONIA, INSOBERTA, RHEA, CYBELE, TONANTZIN, etc., etc., etc.

The DEVOTEE of the VIRGIN MOTHER can ask; the sacred scriptures say: “Ask and it shall be given to you; knock and it shall be opened to you.”

In the GREAT WOMB of the DIVINE MOTHER are gestated the worlds. VIRGO governs the WOMB. Virgo is very intimately related to the intestines, and very especially with the Pancreas and the ISLETS of LANGERHANS that secrete the INSULIN so important for the digestion of sugars.

The forces that rise from the earth, on reaching the womb, become charged with the adrenal hormones that prepare and purify them for their ascent to the heart.

During this sign of VIRGO (the CELESTIAL VIRGIN), we, lying on our backs with the body relaxed, must give the belly little jumps, with the purpose that the forces that rise from the earth become charged in the womb with the adrenal hormones.

The GNOSTIC student must understand the importance of that boiler called the stomach and put an end forever to the vice of gluttony.

The disciples of Lord BUDDHA sustain themselves only with one good meal a day.

The mind in a state of decrepitude confuses a fall with a descent, and to the process of destruction, dissolution on a grand scale, degeneration, etc., it gives the name of change, progress, EVOLUTION.

Everything EVOLVES and INVOLVES, rises and falls, grows and decreases, comes and goes, flows and ebbs; in everything there exists a systole and a diastole, in accordance with the Law of the pendulum.

EVOLUTION and its Twin sister INVOLUTION are two Laws that develop and process themselves in a coordinated and harmonious form in all that is created.

EVOLUTION and INVOLUTION constitute the mechanical axis of nature.

It is written that to every human being are assigned ONE HUNDRED EIGHT lives so that he may SELF-REALIZE himself. To many people, time is running out. Whoever does not SELF-REALIZE himself within his appointed time ceases to be born so as to enter the INFERNAL WORLDS.

In support of the LAW of INVOLUTION or retrogression, the BHAGAVAD GITA says: “Those wicked, cruel, and degraded ones, I cast perpetually into the ASURIC (DEMONIC) WOMBS, so that they may be born in these worlds” (INFERNAL WORLDS).

“O Kounteya!, those deluded people go to the demonic wombs during many lives and continue falling into ever more inferior bodies” (INVOLUTION).

“Triple is the gate of this destructive hell; it is made of lust, anger, and greed; therefore one must abandon it.”

The antechamber of the INFERNAL-WORLDS is the INVOLUTIONARY descent into bodies ever more inferior in accordance with the LAW of INVOLUTION.

Those who descend through the spiral of life fall into demonic wombs during several lives before entering the INFERNAL-WORLDS of NATURE, situated by DANTE within the interior of the terrestrial organism.

In the second chapter we spoke already of the SACRED COW and its profound significance; it is very curious that every BRAHMIN in INDIA, when praying the ROSARY, counts one hundred eight beads of it.

There are HINDUS who do not consider their sacred duties fulfilled unless, around the principal COW, they make one hundred eight turns with the ROSARY in their hands; and unless, filling a cup of water and placing it for a moment on the tail of the COW, they then drink it as the most sacred and delicious Divine liquor.

It is URGENT to remember that the necklace of the BUDDHA has ONE HUNDRED EIGHT BEADS. All this invites us to reflect on the ONE HUNDRED EIGHT LIVES assigned to the HUMAN BEING.

It is clear that whoever does not take advantage of those ONE HUNDRED EIGHT LIVES enters the INVOLUTION of the INFERNAL-WORLDS.

INFERNAL INVOLUTION is a falling backward, into the past, passing through all the animal, vegetable, and mineral states, through frightful sufferings.

The last stage of INFERNAL INVOLUTION is the fossil state, after which comes the DISINTEGRATION of the lost ones.

The only thing that is SAVED from all that tragedy, the only thing that does NOT disintegrate, is the ESSENCE, the BUDDHATA, that FRACTION OF HUMAN SOUL that the poor INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL carries within his LUNAR BODIES.

INVOLUTION in the INFERNAL-WORLDS has precisely as its object to liberate the BUDDHATA, the HUMAN SOUL, so that from the original chaos it may reinitiate its EVOLUTIONARY ascent through the mineral, vegetable, animal scales, until reaching the level of the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL mistakenly called HUMAN BEING.

It is lamentable that many SOULS relapse, return again and again to the INFERNAL-WORLDS.

Time in the INFERNAL-WORLDS of the SUBMERGED MINERAL KINGDOM is frightfully slow and boring; every ONE HUNDRED frightfully long YEARS in those ATOMIC INFERNOS of nature, a certain quantity of KARMA is paid.

Whoever totally disintegrates himself in the INFERNAL-WORLDS remains at peace and free with the LAW OF KARMA.

After the death of the PHYSICAL BODY, every human being, after reviewing the life that has just passed, is JUDGED by the LORDS OF KARMA. The lost ones enter the INFERNAL-WORLDS after their good and evil works have been placed on the balance of COSMIC JUSTICE.

The LAW OF THE BALANCE, the TERRIBLE LAW OF KARMA, governs all that is created. Every cause becomes effect, and every effect transforms itself into cause.

By modifying the CAUSE, the EFFECT is MODIFIED. Perform good works so that you may pay your debts. The LION OF THE LAW is combated with the balance. If the pan of bad works weighs more, I advise you to increase the weight on the pan of good works; thus you shall tip the balance in your favor.

Whoever has CAPITAL with which to pay, pays and comes out well in business; whoever has no CAPITAL must pay with pain.

When an INFERIOR LAW is transcended by a SUPERIOR LAW, the SUPERIOR LAW WASHES away the INFERIOR LAW.

Millions of persons speak about the LAWS of REINCARNATION and KARMA without having experienced directly their profound SIGNIFICANCE.

Truly the LUNAR EGO RETURNS, REINCORPORATES itself, penetrates a new womb, but that cannot be called REINCARNATION; speaking with precision, we will say that this is RETURN.

REINCARNATION is another matter; REINCARNATION is only for MASTERS, for SACRED INDIVIDUALS, for the TWICE-BORN, for those who already possess the BEING.

The LUNAR EGO returns, and in accordance with the LAW of RECURRENCE, repeats in each life the same actions, the same dramas of the preceding lives.

The SPIRAL LINE is the line of life, and each life is repeated either on higher SPIRALS, EVOLUTIONARY, or on lower SPIRALS, INVOLUTIONARY.

Each life is a repetition of the past one, plus its consequences good or bad, agreeable or disagreeable.

Many persons resolutely and definitively descend from life to life along the involutionary spiral line, until at last entering the INFERNAL-WORLDS.

Whoever wishes to SELF-REALIZE himself in depth must free himself from the vicious circle of the EVOLUTIONARY and INVOLUTIONARY LAWS of nature.

Whoever TRULY wishes to come out of the STATE of INTELLECTUAL-ANIMAL, whoever very sincerely wishes to become a TRUE HUMAN BEING, must free himself from the MECHANICAL LAWS of nature.

All those who wish to become TWICE-BORN, all those who wish for INTIMATE SELF-REALIZATION, must enter the path of the REVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS; this is the path of the RAZOR’S EDGE. This path is full of dangers within and without.

The DHAMMAPADA says: “Among the human beings, few are those who reach the other shore. The rest walk on this shore, running from one side to the other.”

Jesus the Christ says: “Of a thousand who seek me, one finds me; of a thousand who find me, one follows me; of a thousand who follow me, one is mine.”

The BHAGAVAD GITA says: “Among thousands of human beings, perhaps one strives to reach perfection; among those who strive, possibly one attains perfection; and among the perfect ones, perhaps one knows me perfectly.”

The DIVINE RABBI OF GALILEE never said that the LAW of EVOLUTION would lead all human beings to perfection. JESUS, in the four gospels, places emphasis on the difficulty of entering the KINGDOM.

“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for I tell you that many will try to enter and will not be able.”

“After the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you, standing outside, begin to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us’; He, in answer, shall say to you, ‘I know not where you are from.’”

“Then you shall begin to say, ‘We have eaten and drunk before Thee, and Thou hast taught in our streets.’”

“But he shall say to you, ‘I tell you, I know not where you are from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’”

“There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the KINGDOM OF GOD, and you yourselves excluded.”

The LAW OF NATURAL SELECTION exists in all that is created; not all the students who enter a faculty graduate as professionals.

The CHRIST JESUS never said that the LAW of EVOLUTION would bring all human beings to the final goal.

Some PSEUDO-ESOTERICISTS and PSEUDO-OCCULTISTS say that by many paths one arrives at GOD. This is truly a SOPHISM with which they always wish to justify their own errors.

The GREAT HIEROPHANT JESUS the CHRIST only indicated one single gate and one single path: “Narrow is the gate and strait is the path that leads to LIGHT, and very few are those who find it.”

The SUPERIOR type of LIBRA always confers TOTAL CHASTITY. The inferior type of LIBRA is very fornicating and adulterous.

The SUPERIOR type of LIBRA has a certain SPIRITUALITY that SPIRITUALISTS do not understand and erroneously judge.

The INFERIOR negative type of LIBRA has dazzling and talkative, versatile people; they like always to put themselves on the front page, to call the attention of everyone.

The superior type of LIBRA wishes always to live anonymous and unknown; he never feels any attraction for fame, for laurels, for prestige.

Marriage with Pisceans suits the natives of LIBRA.

Chapter Eight: SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 22)

The GREAT HIEROPHANT JESUS the CHRIST said to NICODEMUS: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the KINGDOM OF GOD.”

It is necessary to be born of water and of spirit to be able to enter the KINGDOM of ESOTERICISM, the MAGIS REGNUM.

For the MAYAS, the SPIRIT is LIVING FIRE, and they say: “One must unite that of above with that of below, by means of water and FIRE.”

The HINDU BRAHMINS symbolize the second birth sexually. In LITURGY a very large COW of GOLD is constructed, and the candidate for the SECOND BIRTH must pass three times crawling through the middle of the hollow body of the COW, emerging through the VULVA, and is thus consecrated as a true BRAHMIN, DWIJA, or twice BORN: once from his MOTHER and once from the COW.

Thus in symbolic form the BRAHMINS explain the SECOND BIRTH taught by JESUS to NICODEMUS.

The KEY of the MAITHUNA is the BLACK LINGAM embedded in the YONI, attributes of the GOD SHIVA, the THIRD LOGOS, the HOLY SPIRIT.

In the MAITHUNA the PHALLUS must enter the VAGINA, but the SEMEN must never be ejaculated or spilled.

The couple must withdraw from the sexual act before reaching the spasm, to avoid the spilling of the seminal liquor.

The restrained desire shall transmute the seminal liquor into CREATIVE ENERGY.

The SEXUAL ENERGY rises to the brain. Thus the brain becomes seminized; thus the semen becomes cerebrized.

The MAITHUNA is the practice that allows us to awaken and develop the KUNDALINI, the fiery serpent of our magical powers.

When the KUNDALINI awakens, it rises through the medullary canal along the spinal column.

The KUNDALINI opens the seven CHURCHES of the Apocalypse of Saint John. The seven Churches are situated in the spinal column.

The first Church is EPHESUS and corresponds to the sexual organs. Within the CHURCH of EPHESUS the sacred serpent sleeps coiled three and a half times.

The Second Church is SMYRNA, situated at the level of the prostate, and confers upon us power over the waters.

The Third Church is PERGAMOS, situated at the level of the navel, and confers upon us power over fire.

The Fourth Church is THYATIRA, situated at the level of the heart, and confers upon us power over air and many powers, such as voluntary unfolding, that of JINNS, etc.

The Fifth Church is SARDIS, situated at the level of the creative larynx, and confers upon us the power of the MAGIC EAR, which allows us to hear the voices of the superior worlds and the music of the spheres.

The Sixth Church is PHILADELPHIA and is at the level of the brow, and confers upon us the power to see the INTERNAL WORLDS and the creatures that populate them.

The Seventh Church is LAODICEA. This marvelous CHURCH is the LOTUS of the THOUSAND PETALS, situated in the Pineal gland, upper part of the brain.

LAODICEA confers upon us the powers of POLYVIDENCE, with which we can study all the MYSTERIES of the GREAT DAY and the GREAT NIGHT.

The SACRED FIRE of the KUNDALINI opens the seven CHURCHES in successive order, as it slowly ascends through the medullary canal.

The FIERY SERPENT of our magical powers rises very slowly, in accordance with the merits of the heart.

The SOLAR and LUNAR currents of the SEXUAL ENERGY, when they make contact at the TRIVENI, near the coccyx, base of the spinal column, have the power to awaken the SACRED SERPENT so that it may rise through the medullary canal.

The SACRED FIRE ascending through the SPINAL COLUMN has the form of a serpent.

The SACRED FIRE has seven degrees of power. IT IS URGENT to work with the SEVEN DEGREES of power of fire.

SEX in itself is the NINTH SPHERE. The descent into the NINTH SPHERE was, in the ancient MYSTERIES, the supreme test for the SUPREME DIGNITY of the HIEROPHANT.

BUDDHA, JESUS the GREAT KABIR, HERMES, ZOROASTER, MOHAMMED, DANTE, etc., etc., etc., had to pass through that supreme test.

All the Esoteric SCHOOLS mention FIVE INITIATIONS of MAJOR MYSTERIES. Those INITIATIONS are found very intimately related with the MAGISTRATE OF FIRE.

The SACRED FIRE has the power to fecundate the SACRED PRAKRITI of the INITIATE.

We have already said before, and we repeat, that the PRAKRITI is the symbolic SACRED COW of the five legs.

When the PRAKRITI becomes fecund within the INITIATE, then within her WOMB, by the operation and grace of the THIRD LOGOS, the SOLAR BODIES are gestated.

The SOLAR RACE, the TWICE-BORN, have SOLAR BODIES. Common and ordinary people, humanity in general, are LUNAR RACE and only have INTERNAL BODIES of the LUNAR type.

The PSEUDO-ESOTERIC and PSEUDO-OCCULTIST Schools mention the THEOSOPHICAL SEPTENARY, the INTERNAL BODIES, but ignore that those vehicles are really LUNAR, PROTOPLASMIC BODIES.

Within those LUNAR, PROTOPLASMIC BODIES of the INTELLECTUAL ANIMALS are contained the LAWS of EVOLUTION and INVOLUTION.

The LUNAR PROTOPLASMIC BODIES are certainly common property of all the beasts of nature.

The LUNAR PROTOPLASMIC BODIES evolve up to a certain point perfectly defined by nature, and then they initiate their involutionary return to the original starting point.

The VIRGINAL SPARKS, the MONADIC waves, made arise in the mineral past the PROTOPLASMIC BODIES with which the MINERAL ELEMENTALS, GNOMES or PIGMIES, clothed themselves.

The entrance of the MINERAL ELEMENTALS into VEGETABLE EVOLUTION produced a change in the Protoplasmic vehicles.

Intellectual machines have the power to capture the cosmic energies of infinite space, to transform them unconsciously, and then to transmit them automatically to the previous layers of the earth.

All humanity as a whole is an organ of nature, an organ indispensable for the planetary organism of the EARTH.

When any cell of that vital organ — that is, when any subject — is too perverse or fulfills completely his time of one hundred eight lives without having borne fruit, he ceases to BE BORN, so as to precipitate his INVOLUTION in the INFERNAL WORLDS.

If someone wishes to escape from that tragic Law of PROTOPLASMIC INVOLUTION, he must CREATE for himself, by means of tremendous SUPER-EFFORTS, the SOLAR BODIES.

In all the elements of nature, in every chemical substance, in every fruit, exists its corresponding type of HYDROGEN, and the HYDROGEN of SEX is SI-12.

FIRE, FOHAT, makes fecund the WOMB of the SACRED COW of the five legs, but only with the SEXUAL HYDROGEN SI-12 are the SOLAR BODIES formed, crystallized.

Within the seven notes of the musical scale all biological and physiological processes are performed, whose final result is that marvelous elixir called SEMEN.

The process begins with the note DO from the moment the food enters the mouth, and continues with the notes RE-MI-FA-SOL-LA, and when the MUSICAL SI resounds, the EXTRAORDINARY ELIXIR called SEMEN is already prepared.

The SEXUAL HYDROGEN is found deposited in the SEMEN, and we can pass it to a second higher octave DO-RE-MI-FA-SOL-LA-SI, by means of a special SHOCK.

That special SHOCK is the sexual RESTRAINT of the MAITHUNA. The second musical octave causes the SEXUAL HYDROGEN SI-12 to crystallize in the extraordinary and marvelous form of the SOLAR ASTRAL BODY.

The THIRD MUSICAL OCTAVE will give rise to the crystallization of the SEXUAL HYDROGEN SI-12 in the magnificent SOLAR form of the legitimate MENTAL BODY.

A third SHOCK will cause the SEXUAL HYDROGEN SI-12 to pass to a fourth musical octave DO-RE-MI-FA-SOL-LA-SI.

The FOURTH MUSICAL OCTAVE gives rise to the CRYSTALLIZATION of the SEXUAL HYDROGEN in the form of the BODY OF CONSCIOUS WILL, or CAUSAL body.

Whoever already possesses the FOUR BODIES known as PHYSICAL, ASTRAL, MENTAL, and CAUSAL has the luxury of INCARNATING the BEING and becoming a TRUE HUMAN BEING, a SOLAR HUMAN BEING.

Normally the BEING does not BE BORN nor die nor reincarnate, but when we already have the SOLAR BODIES, we can INCARNATE Him and pass to truly BE.

To whoever knows, the word gives power; no one has pronounced it, no one shall pronounce it, but only the one who has it INCARNATE.

Many GNOSTIC students wonder why we do not mention the VITAL body and why we only count four vehicles, excluding the VITAL; the answer to this question is that the VITAL body is only the superior section of the PHYSICAL BODY.

In the THIRD INITIATION OF FIRE the SOLAR ASTRAL is born; in the FOURTH INITIATION OF FIRE the SOLAR MENTAL is born; in the FIFTH INITIATION of fire, the CAUSAL BODY is BORN, or BODY OF CONSCIOUS WILL.

The five INITIATIONS of MAJOR MYSTERIES have only as their object to fabricate the SOLAR BODIES.

In GNOSTICISM and ESOTERICISM, by SECOND BIRTH is understood to fabricate the SOLAR BODIES and INCARNATE the BEING.

The SOLAR BODIES are gestated within the womb of the PRAKRITI. The BEING is conceived by the operation and grace of the THIRD LOGOS within the WOMB of the PRAKRITI.

She is VIRGIN before the birth, in the birth, and after the birth. Every MASTER of the WHITE LODGE is the son of an IMMACULATE VIRGIN.

Whoever attains the SECOND BIRTH leaves the NINTH SPHERE (SEX).

Whoever attains the SECOND BIRTH is totally prohibited from again having sexual contact, and that prohibition is for all ETERNITY.

Whoever attains the SECOND BIRTH enters a secret temple; the temple of the twice-BORN.

Working very INTENSELY in the NINTH SPHERE without falling, one can perform the work of FABRICATING the SOLAR BODIES in TEN or TWENTY years, more or less.

The LUNAR RACE mortally hates everything that has the flavor of MAITHUNA (SEXUAL MAGIC), WHITE TANTRISM, SACRED COW, etc.

The natives of SCORPIO can fall into the most frightful fornications or REGENERATE themselves totally.

However, we must warn that one must never practice twice in succession in a single night. It is only permitted to practice one single time daily.

It is also urgent to know that one must never oblige the spouse to practice the MAITHUNA when she is ill, or when she is menstruating, or in a state of pregnancy, because it is a crime.

Trevisan, the famous Trevisan, spent his entire fortune seeking the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE and succeeded in discovering the secret at seventy-five years of age, already too late.

The PHILOSOPHER’S STONE is sex, and the secret is the MAITHUNA, SEXUAL MAGIC, but poor Trevisan, in spite of possessing a formidable intelligence, only in old age came to discover the secret.

Paracelsus, disciple of Trithemius, great Alchemist Physician, knew the secret of the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, transmuted lead into gold, and performed surprising cures.

Many suppose that Paracelsus died a violent death, by assassination or suicide, because he had revealed a part of the Mysteries, but the reality is that Paracelsus disappeared without knowing how or why.

All of US know that Paracelsus obtained what is called the ELIXIR OF LONG LIFE, and that with that MARVELOUS elixir he still sustains himself; he lives with the same physical body he had in the MIDDLE AGES.

Schrotpffer and Savater practiced certain magical rites too dangerous, which brought about their violent death without having Self-realized themselves in depth.

The famous Doctor J. Dee sought the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE and never found it, but he was reduced to the most frightful misery. In the last years of his life, the poor doctor degenerated horribly with MEDIUMSHIP and became a plaything of the inferior entities that live in the molecular world.

SETON was condemned for refusing to reveal the secret of the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE. Dr. PRICE, of the ROYAL SOCIETY OF LONDON, succeeded in TRANSMUTING PHYSICAL LEAD into MATERIAL GOLD, but when he wished to repeat the experiment before his colleagues, he failed, and then, ashamed and desperate, he committed suicide.

DELISLE, the great DELISLE, for similar motives, was imprisoned, and when he tried to escape from the horrible dungeon where he was enclosed, he was killed by the guards.

All these FAILURES and hundreds of others reveal that TRUE PRACTICAL OCCULTISM and its terrible magical powers demand the most frightful SANCTITY, without which it is impossible to face the dangers of ALCHEMY and of MAGIC.

To speak of SANCTITY in these times turns out to be something very difficult, because the world is full of foolish sanctimonious ones who presume to be SAINTS.

The GREAT MASTER of the force called MORIA, conversing with us in EASTERN TIBET, said to us: “TO UNITE ONESELF WITH THE INNERMOST IS SOMETHING VERY DIFFICULT; OF TWO WHO TRY TO UNITE THEMSELVES WITH THE INNERMOST, ONLY ONE SUCCEEDS, BECAUSE AS THE POET WILLIAM VALENCIA SAID, AMONG THE CADENCES OF THE VERSE THE CRIME IS ALSO HIDDEN.”

The crime dresses itself as a SAINT, as a MARTYR, as an APOSTLE. Millions of persons fond of occult literature presume SANCTITY; they do not eat meat, they do not smoke, they do not drink, but at home they quarrel with their spouse, they beat their sons and daughters, they fornicate, they commit adultery, they do not pay their debts, they promise and do not fulfill, etc., etc., etc.

In the physical world many persons have attained ABSOLUTE CHASTITY, but when these persons are subjected to a test in the internal worlds, they turn out to be frightfully fornicating.

Many are the devotees of the path who in the physical world would never take a glass of wine, but in the internal worlds they turn out to be LOST DRUNKARDS when subjected to a test.

Many are the devotees of the path who in the physical world are meek sheep, but when they are subjected to a test, in the internal worlds, they turn out to be true tigers.

Many are the devotees of the path who do not covet money, but covet psychic powers.

In the world there exist many devotees of the path who astonish by their humility; they can sleep tranquilly on the floor at the door of a rich man and content themselves with the crumbs of bread that fall from the master’s table, but they have the pride of possessing many virtues, or they presume of their humility.

Many people have aspired to SANCTITY when they have been informed that there exist cases of TRUE SAINTS. Many are those who envy the SANCTITY of others, and therefore want to be SAINTS as well.

Many individuals do not work on the DISSOLUTION of the LUNAR EGO out of sheer mental laziness.

Innumerable aspirants to the LIGHT eat three banquets daily; they are terribly gluttonous.

Many do not gossip with the lips, but they gossip with the mind, and yet they believe they never gossip.

Rare are the aspirants who know how to obey the FATHER who is in secret. Almost all the students of occultism, while wishing to speak truth, lie; they have a deceiving tongue; they affirm what they have not experienced, and that is deceit.

Today it is very common and ordinary to bear false witness, and the students of occultism do it without knowing they commit a crime.

Vanity also dresses itself in rags, and many are the aspirants who dress badly and walk through the streets in complete disarray, but through the holes of their garments their vanity is also seen.

Innumerable aspirants have not been able to leave SELF-LOVE; they love themselves too much and suffer unspeakably when someone offends them.

A multitude of aspirants are full of bad thoughts; they have not learned to control their mind, and yet they believe they are doing very well.

Innumerable PSEUDO-ESOTERICISTS and PSEUDO-OCCULTISTS, if they are not avaricious with money, then they are avaricious with knowledge; they have not been able to transcend AVARICE.

Thousands of aspirants carry WORLDLINESS within themselves, even though they never attend a dance, a party.

Many devotees of the path have not been able to leave rapine; they steal books, they enter all the Esoteric Schools to take something, even though it be theories, secrets; they feign loyalty while they perform their labor of rapine, and then they do not return.

Innumerable devotees say bad words; some pronounce them only mentally, even though their lips speak sweetnesses.

Many VIRTUOUS ones are cruel to people. We knew the case of a VIRTUOUS ONE who wounded with harsh phrases an unfortunate man who composed a verse for him.

The wretched man was hungry, and as he was a poet, he composed a verse for the VIRTUOUS ONE with the purpose of obtaining a coin; the response was grave; the virtuous one, presuming modesty and humility, insulted the hungry man.

A multitude of aspirants to the light are vexed and humiliated cruelly by the preceptors of certain schools.

There are many persons who would be capable of everything in life, except killing someone, but they kill with their ironies, with their bad actions, with the laughter that wounds, with the harsh word.

Many are the husbands who have killed their wives with their bad actions, with their bad conduct, with their horrible jealousies, with ingratitude, etc.

Many are the wives who have killed their husbands with their bad character, with foolish jealousies, with their inconsiderate demands, etc., etc., etc.

We must not forget that every illness has psychic causes. The insult, the irony, the strident and offensive laughter, the bad words serve to cause harm, illnesses, assassination, etc. Many fathers and mothers of family would have lived a little longer, if their children had permitted it.

Almost all human beings in unconscious form are MATRICIDES, PARRICIDES, FRATRICIDES, UXORICIDES, etc., etc.

PITY is lacking in the students of occultism; they are incapable of sacrificing themselves for their fellow beings who suffer and weep.

There is no true CHARITY in thousands of aspirants; they presume to be charitable, but when we call them to struggle to establish a new social order in the world, they flee terrified, or justify themselves saying that the law of Karma and of Evolution will resolve everything.

The aspirants to the light are cruel, ruthless; they say they love and they do not love; they preach charity but do not practice it.

The sign of SAGITTARIUS invites us to reflect upon all this. Sagittarius is symbolized by a man with an arrow in his hand, half horse, half man.

The horse represents the ANIMAL EGO, the PLURALIZED I clothed in its LUNAR BODIES.

The I is not something INDIVIDUAL, the I has no INDIVIDUALITY. The I is PLURAL; the LUNAR EGO is constituted by a sum of small I’s. Each psychological defect is personified by a small I. The whole of all our defects is represented by the PLURALIZED I.

The most grave problem that everyone who reaches the SECOND BIRTH has to resolve is that of DISSOLVING the LUNAR EGO.

The newborn MASTER is clothed in his SOLAR BODIES, but his EGO is clothed in the LUNAR BODIES.

Before the newborn MASTER two paths open: that of the right and that of the left.

On the path of the right walk those MASTERS who work on the DISSOLUTION of the LUNAR EGO. On the path of the left walk those who do NOT concern themselves with the dissolution of the LUNAR EGO.

The MASTERS who do NOT dissolve the LUNAR EGO become HANASMUSSIANS. A HANASMUSSEN is a subject with DOUBLE CENTER OF GRAVITY.

To comprehend any defect is basic, indispensable, when one wishes to eliminate the small I that personifies it; but the work of elimination IN ITSELF turns out to be impossible without the help of the SACRED COW of the five legs.

The DIVINE MOTHER eliminates broken bottles. Each small I is a bottle within which a fraction of the ESSENCE is bottled up.

This means that the ESSENCE, the BUDDHATA, the SOUL or FRACTION of HUMAN SOUL that every INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL has, has been turned into thousands of fractions that are bottled up.

EXAMPLE: ANGER is represented by hundreds or thousands of I’s; each one is a bottle within which the ESSENCE is bottled up; to each bottle corresponds a fraction of the ESSENCE.

All those bottles of ANGER, all those I’s, live in each of the forty-nine departments or regions of the SUBCONSCIOUS.

To comprehend ANGER in any SUBCONSCIOUS department means to break a bottle; then the corresponding fraction of the ESSENCE is liberated.

When this happens, the DIVINE MOTHER intervenes, eliminating the broken bottle, the corpse of the small I destroyed. Said corpse no longer has within it the fraction of the SOUL it previously imprisoned, and little by little it disintegrates in the INFERNAL-WORLDS.

It is necessary to know that the DIVINE MOTHER intervenes in this case only when the bottle is broken, when the ESSENCE enclosed within it has been liberated.

If the DIVINE MOTHER were to eliminate the bottle with the GENIE inside, the poor GENIE — that is, the FRACTION OF THE SOUL — would also have to enter the INFERNAL worlds.

When all the bottles have been broken, the ESSENCE in its totality has been LIBERATED, and the DIVINE MOTHER dedicates herself to eliminating corpses.

When the PLURALIZED I is killed and eliminated, the ESSENCE unites with the BEING, with the INNERMOST, and the LUNAR BODIES are eliminated during a mystical trance that lasts three days.

After THREE DAYS the MASTER, clothed in his SOLAR BODIES, returns, comes back to his PHYSICAL BODY. This is the INITIATIC RESURRECTION.

Every RESURRECTED MASTER has SOLAR BODIES, but does NOT have LUNAR BODIES.

The RESURRECTED MASTERS have powers over FIRE, AIR, WATERS, and EARTH.

The second is the HUMAN SOUL, the CAUSAL principle, the NOBLE HUSBAND, the SUPERIOR MANAS of THEOSOPHY.

Even though it may seem strange and rare, while the HUMAN SOUL works, the SPIRITUAL SOUL plays.

ADAM and EVE INTEGRATE themselves within the MONAD, and their KABBALISTIC VALUE is 10, which reminds us of IO — that is, the vowels Iiiiiii. Ooooooo. The most sacred union of the ETERNAL MASCULINE with the ETERNAL FEMININE, the INTEGRATION of opposites within the ESSENTIAL and DIVINE MONAD.

Among the MONADS there are HIERARCHIES; the inferior MONADS must obey the SUPERIOR ones; that is LAW. The INFERIOR MONADS belong to the SUPERIOR ones.

All the trillions of MONADS that animate the human organism must obey the owner, the chief, the principal MONAD.

The REGULATING MONAD, the PRIMORDIAL MONAD, permits the activity of all its subordinates within the human organism until the time appointed by the law of KARMA.

When the billions or trillions of MONADS or VITAL GERMS abandon the PHYSICAL BODY, DEATH is then inevitable.

The MONADS are in THEMSELVES INDESTRUCTIBLE; they abandon their previous connections to soon form other new ones.

RETURN to THIS WORLD, REENTRY, REINCORPORATION would be impossible without the work of the MONADS. They reconstruct new CELLS with their perceptions and sensations, new organisms. When the PRIMORDIAL MONAD is totally DEVELOPED, it can give itself the luxury of utilizing its Trillions of MONADS to create a world, a SUN, a comet, and thus become the REGULATING MONAD of ANY STAR; but that is already a matter of GODS.

The MONADS or VITAL GERMS are not exclusive to the physical organism; within the ATOMS of the INTERNAL BODIES, many orders and categories of LIVING MONADS exist imprisoned. The existence of any physical or suprasensible body — Angelic or Diabolical, Solar or Lunar — has as its foundation the billions and trillions of MONADS.

The LUNAR EGO IN ITSELF is a compound of ATOMS of the secret enemy. Unfortunately, within those ATOMS are prisoner the MONADS or VITAL GERMS.

Now we will understand why occult science says: “THE DEMON IS GOD IN REVERSE.”

To each ATOM corresponds a VITAL GERM, a MONAD. All the infinite modifications, all the innumerable transformations, are the result of the varied combinations of the MONADS.

Three things go to the cemetery, to the sepulcher:

The vital body floats near the sepulcher and gradually disintegrates as the physical body disintegrates, as its MONADS are gradually liberated.

The PERSONALITY is in the sepulcher, but goes out when someone brings flowers, when some mourner visits it; it wanders through the cemetery and returns to its sepulcher.

The Personality has a beginning and an end; it slowly disintegrates in the cemetery.

PROSERPINA, the QUEEN of HELL, is also HECATE, the BLESSED MOTHER GODDESS DEATH, under whose direction the ANGELS of DEATH work.

The MOTHER SPACE, converted into MOTHER-DEATH, deeply loves her children, and that is why she takes them.

The ANGELS of DEATH, when they are working, clothe themselves in their funeral attire, assume a spectral figure, grasp the scythe, and with it cut the silver cord that connects the INTERNAL BODIES with the PHYSICAL BODY.

After the death of the body, the DISINCARNATE falls into a swoon that lasts three and a half days.

THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD says: “Thou hast been in a swoon during the last three and a half days. As soon as thou recoverest from this swoon, thou wilt have the thought, ‘What has happened?’ (For) at that moment all the SAMSARA (PHENOMENAL UNIVERSE) shall be in revolution.”

The KABBALISTIC VALUE of the EGO is FIFTY-SIX; this is the number of TYPHON, the MIND WITHOUT SPIRITUALITY.

THE EGO carries its WORLDLINESS beyond the sepulcher of the physical body, and the RETROSPECTIVE VISION of the life that has just passed is something very terrible.

After the GREAT SWOON of three and a half days, the deceased must SLOWLY RELIVE, in retrospective form, all the life that has just passed.

The concept TIME is something very important in this work of RETROSPECTIVE VISION of the life that has just passed, or RETROSPECTIVE VISION of SAMSARA.

In the INFERNAL-WORLDS all the scales of time are mineral, frightfully slow, and oscillate between 80,000, 8,000, 800, and 80 years.

In this CELLULAR REGION in which we live, gestation lasts TEN lunar months; childhood, One Hundred lunar months; life, more or less, One Thousand lunar months.

In the Molecular World events can be measured with a time scale that ranges from a month to forty minutes.

In the ELECTRONIC WORLD the time scale oscillates between forty minutes and two and a half seconds.

The RETROSPECTIVE VISION OF SAMSARA (LIFE THAT HAS JUST PASSED), at the instant of death and during the following three and a half days, is of the ELECTRONIC type, and therefore each event can be measured with the ELECTRONIC time standard.

The RETROSPECTIVE VISION OF SAMSARA in the MOLECULAR WORLD is less rapid, and therefore each event is measured with the MOLECULAR TIME STANDARD.

The INNERMOST, the MONAD, the BEING with his TWO SOULS, before we were born in this valley of tears, DWELLS in the MILKY WAY, and even during the life of the physical body here below, he continues living in the stars.

What is fundamental for the ESSENCE after death is to attain the RELATIVE BUDDHIC STATE and the INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION; this is only possible for the EMBRYO of SOUL we have within, by rising, ascending to the ELECTRONIC WORLD.

It is URGENT TO KNOW that in the ELECTRONIC WORLD lives our IMMORTAL DIVINE TRIAD, our BEING, our BUDDHA.

To unite oneself with the IMMORTAL TRIAD after death, to be one with it, signifies in fact to become a RELATIVE BUDDHA, to attain INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION, and to enjoy beautiful vacations before returning to a new human organism.

If at the supreme moment of death, the CLEAR PRIMORDIAL LIGHT has been duly recognized by the deceased, it is a clear sign that he has attained INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION.

If at the supreme moment of death, the deceased only perceives the CLEAR SECONDARY LIGHT, it is a sign that he will have to struggle much to attain the RELATIVE BUDDHIC state.

The difficult thing for the ESSENCE is to UNBOTTLE itself, to escape from its prison, to leave the LUNAR BODIES, to abandon the PLURALIZED I. In this, the KARMA of each one is definitive.

When the deceased has relived in retrospective form all the life that has just passed, he then must appear before the TRIBUNALS of KARMA to be judged.

The legend of ZOROASTER says: “Every one whose good works exceed his sin by three grams goes to heaven; every one whose sin is greater, to hell; while he in whom both are equal remains in Hamistikan until the future body or resurrection.”

Today, in these times of perversity and crude atheistic materialism, the majority of disincarnates enter, after the Judgment, the submerged MINERAL KINGDOM, the INFERNAL-WORLDS.

Also many are the millions who enter a new womb in immediate or mediate form, without having had the luxury of a good vacation in the SUPERIOR WORLDS.

Certainly the process of selection exists in all nature, and few are those who attain INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION and the RELATIVE BUDDHIC STATE.

The DISINCARNATES enter ETERNITY under the influences of the MOON, and leave ETERNITY through the gates of the MOON.

We have already seen in the lesson of CANCER that the entire life of all persons is processed under the influences of the MOON, MERCURY, VENUS, SUN, MARS, JUPITER, and SATURN, closing the life with a LUNAR clasp.

Truly the MOON takes us and the MOON brings us, and the seven types of planetary vibrations, in their classical order indicated, are also repeated after death, because “AS IS ABOVE, SO IS BELOW.”

The essences that after being judged have the right to INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION and to the RELATIVE BUDDHIC STATE need a certain type of very special ecstasy and a constant right effort to unbottle themselves, to escape from the LUNAR BODIES and the EGO.

Fortunately different groups of MASTERS assist the disincarnates and help them in this work with the RAYS of GRACE.

Just as in this cellular world in which we live there exist Republics, Kingdoms, Presidents, Kings, Governors, etc., so also in the molecular world there exist many Paradises, Regions, and Kingdoms where the ESSENCES enjoy indescribable states of felicity.

The DISINCARNATES can enter into KINGDOMS of paradisiacal felicity such as: that of DENSE CONCENTRATION; the KINGDOM of LONG HAIRS (VAJRAPANI); or the BOUNDLESS VIHARA of LOTUS RADIATION (PADMA SAMBHAVA).

The DISINCARNATES who march toward INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION must help THEMSELVES, concentrating the mind on any of those KINGDOMS of the MOLECULAR WORLD.

It is truly very painful to wander from life to life, to err through the horrible sewer of SAMSARA without enjoying the BUDDHIC STATE and INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION.

There exist KINGDOMS of inconceivable felicity that the DISINCARNATE must strive to enter; let us remember the BLESSED KINGDOM of the WEST governed by the BUDDHA AMITABHA.

Let us remember the KINGDOM OF MAITREYA, the cycles of TUSHITA; into that KINGDOM of supreme bliss can also enter the DISINCARNATES who march toward the ELECTRONIC WORLD.

The DISINCARNATES must pray much to the GREAT COMPASSIONATE ONE and to their DIVINE TRIAD, firm in their purposes, without letting themselves be diverted by anything, if they truly do not wish to fall into a new womb without having enjoyed the INTERMEDIATE BUDDHIC STATE in the WORLD OF ELECTRONS.

Felicity in the ELECTRONIC regions, INTERMEDIATE LIBERATION after having passed through the molecular paradises, is something impossible to describe in human words.

The BUDDHAS travel through the UNALTERABLE INFINITE amid the indescribable symphonies of the worlds that pulse in the bosom of the MOTHER-SPACE.

However, every reward, every capital is exhausted. When the DHARMA of felicity is exhausted, RETURN to a new womb is then inevitable.

The ESSENCE loses ECSTASY, attracted by the LUNAR EGO, and bottled up again within the LUNAR BODIES, RETURNS to a new womb.

The instant in which the ESSENCE loses ECSTASY is the one in which it again separates from its INNER BUDDHA to remain bottled up within the LUNAR BODIES and the PLURALIZED I.

RETURN to a new womb is performed in accordance with the LAW of KARMA.

The EGO continues in the descendants of its past or pasts lives.

The MONADS of his past PHYSICAL BODY have the power to gather atoms, molecules, and reconstruct cells and organs; thus we return to this cellular world clothed in a new physical body.

The poor INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL begins his life in this world as a simple original cell, subject to the swift time (of the cells), and ends around seventy and eighty years or somewhat more, loaded with memories and experiences of every kind.

It is URGENT to know that in the process of REENTRY or RETURN, a certain SELECTION is also performed.

The I is a SUM of small I’s, and not all those small I’s RETURN to a new human organism.

The I is a SUM of distinct, diverse ENTITIES, without order of any kind, and not all those ENTITIES REENTER a new human organism; many of those ENTITIES are REINCORPORATED in BODIES of HORSES, DOGS, CATS, PIGS, etc., etc., etc.

Once, when MASTER PYTHAGORAS was walking with a friend, the latter struck a dog. The MASTER reprimanded him saying: “DO NOT STRIKE HIM, FOR IN HIS PITIFUL BARKING I HAVE RECOGNIZED THE VOICE OF A FRIEND OF MINE WHO DIED.”

It is clear that on reaching this part of our present chapter, the fanatics of the DOGMA of EVOLUTION will cast against us all their defamatory slime and will protest, saying: THE EGO CANNOT RETROGRESS, EVERYTHING EVOLVES, EVERYTHING MUST REACH PERFECTION, etc., etc., etc.

Those FANATICS ignore that the EGO is a sum of small animal I’s and that like attracts like.

Those FANATICS ignore that the EGO has nothing DIVINE about it; it is a sum of ANIMAL ENTITIES that the LAW of EVOLUTION can never lead to PERFECTION.

The ANIMAL ENTITIES have full right to enter into animal wombs of dogs, horses, pigs, etc., etc., etc., and that CANNOT BE PROHIBITED by the FANATICS of the DOGMA OF EVOLUTION, although they shout and curse and thunder and lightning.

This is the DOCTRINE of METAMORPHOSIS or METEMPSYCHOSIS of PYTHAGORAS, and is founded on the very Laws of Nature.

In APULEIUS’s GOLDEN ASS we find this DOCTRINE of PYTHAGORAS totally documented.

APULEIUS says that in the THESSALY of SORCERY, the stones were nothing other than petrified human beings; the birds, human beings with wings; the trees, human beings with foliage; the springs, human bodies that bled clear lymph. Admirable symbolic way of representing the undoubted fact for every occultist that the DIVERSE ENTITIES which constitute the PLURALIZED I can reincorporate themselves in bodies of beasts or enter into the MINERAL, VEGETABLE KINGDOM, etc., etc., etc.

The CHRISTIAN MYSTICS with just reason speak with love of sister plant, brother wolf, sister stone.

RUDOLF STEINER, the GERMAN INITIATE, says that in the POLAR EPOCH only the HUMAN BEING existed, and that the animals existed later; they were within the HUMAN BEING, were eliminated by the HUMAN BEING.

Those ANIMALS were the different parts or ENTITIES of the PLURALIZED I of the ORIGINAL HUMANS. Those ENTITIES which were eliminated by them from their internal nature and which, due to the PROTOPLASMIC state of the earth in that epoch, marched toward the present physical crystallization.

Those POLAR and HYPERBOREAN HUMANS needed to eliminate those ANIMAL ENTITIES, that PLURALIZED I, in order to become TRUE HUMAN BEINGS, SOLAR HUMAN BEINGS.

Some subjects are so ANIMAL that, if all that they have of ANIMAL were removed, nothing would remain.

SATURN is the PLANET of DEATH and is exalted in CAPRICORN. This sign is symbolized by a little goat, as if to remind us of the GOATSKIN, the INTELLECTUAL ANIMALS with goatskin, the necessity of eliminating what we have of ANIMAL within us, the ANIMAL ENTITIES we carry within.

The STONE of CAPRICORN is the BLACK ONYX, and every black stone in general; the metal is LEAD; and its day SATURDAY.

On SATURDAY the WITCHES of the Middle Ages celebrated their horrible SABBATS, but also SATURDAY is the SEVENTH DAY so sacred for the JEWS. SATURN is LIFE and DEATH. The path of life is formed with the hoof-prints of the horse of death.

The magnetic currents that rise from the earth, after passing through the sieves of the feet, continue through the calves, and on reaching the knees, they become charged with the LEAD of SATURN; thus they acquire solidity, form, force.

We are NOT speaking of LEAD in its gross state; we speak of LEAD in COLLOIDAL, subtle state.

The knees possess a marvelous substance that permits the free movement of such a simple and marvelous bony joint. That substance is the famous SYNOVIA, which comes from the root SYN, which means WITH, and OVIA, EGG. In total, SUBSTANCE WITH EGG.

The EGG is very utilized in the JINN SCIENCE, and about this we already spoke in the «ESOTERIC TREATISE OF THEURGY», second EDITION.

Practice of Capricorn

During the sign of CAPRICORN, imagine a coffin or coffin box on the ground. The natives of CAPRICORN attach themselves very much to things, to money, and some even become very avaricious.

CAPRICORN is an earth sign, fixed, stable. However, the natives of CAPRICORN make many journeys, even though they be short.

The moral sufferings of the CAPRICORNIANS are terrible; they suffer too much; fortunately their practical sense of life saves them, and very soon they overcome the worst bitternesses of life.

Chapter Eleven: AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 19)

The occult meaning of AQUARIUS is TO KNOW. AQUARIUS, the sign of the water bearer, is an eminently REVOLUTIONARY zodiacal sign.

There exist four classes of KNOWLEDGE or SECRET SCIENCE. We need to know which are those four classes of KNOWLEDGE.

FIRST: YAJÑA-VIDYA; knowledge acquired with certain occult powers awakened within our own inner nature, by means of certain Magical Rituals.

SECOND: KABBALISTIC MAHA-VIDYA. The SCIENCE of the KABBALAH with all its invocations, mathematics, symbols, and liturgy, can be ANGELIC or DIABOLICAL; everything depends on the type of person who uses it.

THIRD: GUHYA-VIDYA; science of MANTRAMS, the Magic of the WORD; founded on the mystic powers of sound, on the science of HARMONY.

FOURTH: ATMA-VIDYA, or REAL WISDOM of the BEING, of ATMAN, of the SUPERIOR MONAD.

All these forms of KNOWLEDGE, except for the FOURTH, are the root of all the occult sciences.

From all those forms of knowledge, except the FOURTH, come the KABBALAH, PALMISTRY, ASTROLOGY, OCCULT PHYSIOLOGY, SCIENTIFIC CARTOMANCY, etc., etc.

From all those forms of knowledge, from all these OCCULT BRANCHES, science has already discovered some secrets, but the DEVELOPED SPATIAL SENSE is NOT HYPNOTISM, nor can it be acquired by those arts.

The PRESENT ASTROLOGICAL HERMETIC ESOTERIC BOOK has nothing to do with the fairground ASTROLOGY mentioned in the NEWSPAPERS. In this book we teach the SCIENCE of ATMA-VIDYA.

The fundamental is ATMA-VIDYA; it includes all the others in their ESSENTIAL aspect and can even use them occasionally; but it only utilizes their synthetic extracts purified of all dross.

The GOLDEN DOOR of Wisdom can be transformed into the broad gate and wide path that leads to destruction, the door of the magical arts practiced with selfish ends.

We are in the AGE of KALI-YUGA, the age of IRON, the BLACK AGE, and all the students of OCCULTISM are predisposed to stray onto the black path. It astonishes to see the so erroneous concept that the “little brothers” have of OCCULTISM and the ease with which they believe they can reach the GATE and cross the THRESHOLD of the MYSTERY without a GREAT SACRIFICE.

It is impossible to attain ATMA-VIDYA without the THREE FACTORS of the REVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS.

It is impossible to attain ATMA-VIDYA without having reached the SECOND BIRTH. It is impossible to attain ATMA-VIDYA without the death of the PLURALIZED I. It is impossible to attain ATMA-VIDYA without SACRIFICE for humanity.

It is NOT the Law of EVOLUTION that confers ATMA-VIDYA upon us. It is not the Law of INVOLUTION that confers ATMA-VIDYA upon us. Only on the basis of TREMENDOUS and FRIGHTFUL INTIMATE REVOLUTIONS do we arrive at ATMA-VIDYA.

The PATH of the REVOLUTION of consciousness is the PATH OF THE RAZOR’S EDGE; this path is TERRIBLY DIFFICULT; this path is full of dangers within and without.

We will now study in this chapter each of the THREE FACTORS of the REVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS in an orderly form and separately, so that the Gnostic students may orient themselves correctly.

Let our readers pay very much attention, then, to the study of each of the THREE FACTORS of the REVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS, because upon the full COMPREHENSION of each of these THREE FACTORS depends the SUCCESS in this WORK.

To Be Born

The SECOND BIRTH is a totally sexual problem. The Sacred BULL APIS among the ancient EGYPTIANS had to be young, healthy, and strong to symbolize the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE (SEX).

The Greeks, instructed by the Egyptian Hierophants, also represented the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE thus, with one or more BULLS, as is also seen in the fable of the CRETAN MINOTAUR.

Equal Alchemical signification had the BULLS that HERCULES stole from Geryon; the same symbolism we find in the legend of the SACRED OXEN of the SUN that grazed tranquilly on the ISLE of SICILY and that were stolen by Mercury.

Not all the sacred BULLS were black or white; some were RED, like those of Geryon and like those sacrificed by the Israelite Priest, because the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, at a certain ALCHEMICAL moment, is RED, and every Alchemist knows this.

The famous bull APIS, so worshiped in the EGYPTIAN MYSTERIES, was the creator and the procurator of SOULS. The SYMBOLIC bull APIS was consecrated to ISIS, because in fact it is related to the SACRED COW, the DIVINE MOTHER, ISIS, whose veil no mortal has lifted.

For a bull to have the high honor of being elevated to such category, it was necessary that it be black and have on its forehead or on one of its shoulder blades a white mark in the form of a Lunar crescent.

It is also certain and altogether true that said sacred bull must have been conceived under the impression of a lightning bolt and have under its tongue the mark of the sacred scarab.

APIS was the SYMBOL of the MOON, both because of its horns in the form of a Lunar crescent, and because during all save the Plenilunium, this celestial body always has a tenebrous part indicated by the black of the skin, and another resplendent, symbolized by the white mark.

APIS is the PHILOSOPHICAL MATTER, the ENS SEMINIS (SEMEN), that semi-solid, semi-liquid substance, that VITRIOL of the ALCHEMISTS.

Within the ENS SEMINIS is found all the ENS VIRTUTIS of FIRE. It is necessary to transform the MOON into SUN — that is, to fabricate the SOLAR BODIES.

These are the MYSTERIES OF ISIS, the MYSTERIES of the BULL APIS. When in the old Egypt of the PHARAOHS the RUNE IS was studied, its two aspects were analyzed: MASCULINE-FEMININE, because the SACRED WORD ISIS is decomposed into two syllables, IS-IS; the first SYLLABLE is MASCULINE and the second is FEMININE.

The BULL APIS is the BULL of ISIS, the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE. The man and the woman must work in their LABORATORIUM ORATORIUM with that PHILOSOPHICAL MATTER, transforming the MOON into SUN.

It is URGENT to acquire that MAGICAL power called KRIYA-SHAKTI, or of WILL and YOGA, the Magical power of the SOLAR HUMAN BEINGS, the supreme power of CREATION without Generation, and this is only possible with the MAITHUNA (see chapter eight).

It is necessary to learn to intelligently combine the waters of life between the two AMPHORAS of AQUARIUS, the zodiacal sign of the WATER BEARER.

It is indispensable to combine the RED ELIXIR with the WHITE ELIXIR, if we wish to reach the SECOND BIRTH.

The MOON symbolizes ISIS, the DIVINE MOTHER, the ineffable PRAKRITI, and the BULL APIS represents THE PHILOSOPHICAL MATTER, the SACRED STONE of the ALCHEMIST.

In the Bull APIS are represented the MOON, ISIS, the PRIMORDIAL SUBSTANCE, the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, the MAITHUNA.

AQUARIUS is governed by URANUS, and this planet controls the SEXUAL GLANDS. It is impossible to attain the SECOND BIRTH, ADEPTSHIP, INTIMATE SELF-REALIZATION, if we do not study the MYSTERIES of ISIS, if we despise the cult to the BULL APIS, if we do not learn to combine the RED ELIXIR with the WHITE ELIXIR between the two AMPHORAS of AQUARIUS.

In Christian terminology, FOUR human BODIES are spoken of. The first is the CARNAL BODY; the second is the NATURAL BODY; the third is the SPIRITUAL BODY; the fourth, according to Esoteric Christian terminology, is the DIVINE BODY.

Speaking in Theosophical language, we shall say that the first is the PHYSICAL BODY, the second is the ASTRAL BODY; the third is the MENTAL BODY; the fourth is the CAUSAL BODY or BODY OF CONSCIOUS WILL.

Our critics will be annoyed because we do not cite the LINGAM SARIRA or VITAL BODY, also called the ETHERIC DOUBLE. Certainly, we do not count such BODY, due to the concrete fact that it is only the superior section of the PHYSICAL BODY, the basic fundamental seat of all physical, chemical, caloric, reproductive, perceptive activities, etc.

The common and ordinary INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL is NOT BORN with the ASTRAL, nor with the MENTAL, nor much less with the CAUSAL BODY; these bodies can only be cultivated artificially in the LIGHTED FORGE OF VULCAN (SEX).

THE ASTRAL BODY is not an indispensable IMPLEMENT for the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL; it is a luxury, a great luxury that very few can give themselves; however, the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL has a MOLECULAR BODY, a BODY OF DESIRES similar to the ASTRAL BODY, but of LUNAR type — cold, ghostly, spectral.

The INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL has no MENTAL BODY, but possesses an animal intellectual, subtle, LUNAR vehicle very similar to the MENTAL BODY, but of cold and ghostly nature.

The INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL has no CAUSAL BODY or BODY OF conscious WILL, but has the ESSENCE, the BUDDHATA, the EMBRYO OF SOUL that is easily confused with the CAUSAL BODY.

The subtle BODIES that LEADBEATER, ANNIE BESANT, STEINER, and many other clairvoyants studied in the poor common and ordinary INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL are the LUNAR vehicles.

Whoever wishes to attain the SECOND BIRTH must fabricate the SOLAR BODIES, the authentic ASTRAL BODY, the legitimate MENTAL BODY, the true CAUSAL BODY or BODY OF CONSCIOUS WILL.

There is something that may surprise the GNOSTIC students: the ASTRAL, MENTAL, and CAUSAL BODIES are of flesh and bone, and after having been born from the immaculate womb of the DIVINE MOTHER, they need nourishment for their growth and development.

There exist two types of flesh: the first is flesh that comes from ADAM; the second is flesh that does NOT come from ADAM. The SOLAR BODIES are of flesh that does not come from ADAM.

It is interesting to know that the SEXUAL HYDROGEN SI-12 always crystallizes in flesh and bone. The physical body is of flesh and bone, and the SOLAR bodies are also of flesh and bone.

The basic food of the PHYSICAL BODY is HYDROGEN FORTY-EIGHT.

The fundamental nourishment of the ASTRAL BODY is HYDROGEN TWENTY-FOUR.

The indispensable food of the MENTAL body is HYDROGEN TWELVE.

The vital nourishment of the CAUSAL BODY is HYDROGEN SIX.

All the MASTERS of the WHITE LODGE, ANGELS, ARCHANGELS, THRONES, SERAPHIM, VIRTUES, etc., etc., etc., are clothed in SOLAR BODIES.

Only those who have SOLAR BODIES have the BEING INCARNATED. Only the one who possesses the BEING is a TRUE HUMAN BEING.

The PHYSICAL BODY is controlled by forty-eight laws; the ASTRAL BODY is governed by twenty-four laws; the MENTAL BODY is dominated by twelve laws; the CAUSAL BODY depends on six Laws.

It is URGENT to descend to the LIGHTED FORGE of VULCAN (SEX), to work with fire and water, origin of worlds, beasts, human beings, and GODS; it is urgent to descend to the ninth sphere to fabricate the SOLAR BODIES and attain the SECOND BIRTH.

It causes pain to know that many who presume to be MASTERS and SAINTS are still clothed in LUNAR BODIES.

Death

The COUNT GABALIS is roundly mistaken in saying that the SALAMANDERS, GNOMES, SYLPHS, NYMPHS, need to marry a human being to become immortal.

The COUNT GABALIS’s affirmation is stupid in saying that we need to renounce completely women in order to devote ourselves to the immortalization of SYLPHIDS and NYMPHS.

The ELEMENTALS of the ELEMENTS, of the plants, of the minerals, animals, will be the humans of the future without need of the filthy coitus recommended by the COUNT GABALIS.

It is a pity that many spiritualist MEDIUMS are married to ELEMENTALS and that many persons during sleep cohabit with INCUBI, SUCCUBI, and ELEMENTALS of every type.

The INTERNAL WORLDS are full of every class of creatures, some good, others bad, others indifferent.

The DEVAS or ANGELS are never inferior to the HUMAN BEING. The DEVAS or ANGELS are TRUE SOLAR HUMAN BEINGS, and that is all. The DEVAS or ANGELS are TWICE BORN.

For the Chinese, the two highest classes of invisible inhabitants are the THIEN of totally celestial nature, and the THI, THU, or intermediaries.

In the gorges of KUEN-LUEN, the central region of the earth or LUNAR MOUNTAINS, tradition has placed a whole strange and mysterious world governed by GODS. Those DIVINE BEINGS are the KO-HAN or LOHANS, GODS GOVERNORS of millions of creatures.

The THI wear yellow clothing and inhabit crypts or subterranean caverns; they feed on sesame, coriander, and other flowers and fruits of the tree of life; they are TWICE BORN; they study ALCHEMY, OCCULT BOTANY, the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, in the manner of MASTER ZANONI and his WISE COMPANION, the GREAT MEJNOUR.

A third class of invisible inhabitants are the fabulous SHEN or SHAIN, born here below in the SUBLUNAR world, either to work for good, or to pay their old ANCESTRAL KARMA.

The fourth class of inhabitants of the internal worlds cited by the CHINESE are the TENEBROUS MAHA-SHAN, gigantic sorcerers of BLACK MAGIC.

The rarest and most incomprehensible beings are the terrible MARUTS or TURAM; beings mentioned by the RIG VEDA, legions of HANASMUSSIANS; this word is pronounced with j, thus: JANASMUSSIANS.

These legions consist of three hundred forty-three families, although certain calculations raise the quantity to 823 or 543 families.

It is lamentable that these HANASMUSSEN are worshiped by certain Muslims and BRAHMINS.

The HANASMUSSIANS have, as we already said in chapter nine of this book, two personalities; one ANGELIC and another DIABOLICAL.

It is clear that the SOLAR, ANGELIC PERSONALITY of a HANASMUSSIAN never agrees to instruct any candidate to INITIATION without first telling him with complete FRANKNESS: “BEWARE, WE ARE THE TEMPTATION THAT CAN BE CONVERTED INTO AN INFIDEL.”

The SOLAR PERSONALITY of every MARUT or TURAM, HANASMUSSIAN, knows very well that it possesses another LUNAR, DIABOLICAL, TENEBROUS PERSONALITY, capable of leading the candidate to INITIATION astray.

Before every twice-BORN, two paths open: that of the right and that of the sinister.

That of the right is for those who resolve TO DIE FROM MOMENT TO MOMENT, for those who DISSOLVE THE I. That of the SINISTER is the black path, the path of those who, instead of DYING FROM MOMENT TO MOMENT, instead of DISSOLVING THE I, FORTIFY it within the LUNAR BODIES. Those who go on the path of the left hand become MARUT or TURAM — that is, HANASMUSSIANS.

Those who wish to attain FINAL LIBERATION must DIE from MOMENT to MOMENT. Only by DYING TO ME-MYSELF do we become PERFECT ANGELS.

There exist three classes of TANTRISM: WHITE, BLACK, and GRAY. MAITHUNA with ejaculation of the ENS SEMINIS is BLACK. MAITHUNA sometimes with ejaculation of the ENS SEMINIS and sometimes without ejaculation is GRAY.

With MAITHUNA without ejaculation, DEVI KUNDALINI rises through the medullary canal to develop Divine powers and convert us into ANGELS.

With MAITHUNA with EJACULATION, the FIERY SERPENT OF OUR MAGICAL POWERS, instead of rising, descends, plunges down from the COCCYGEAL bone toward the atomic infernos of the human being, converting itself into the TAIL OF SATAN.

MAITHUNA with ejaculation sometimes and without ejaculation sometimes is something incoherent, morbid, bestial, that only serves to fortify the LUNAR EGO.

The BLACK TANTRICS develop the ABOMINABLE KUNDARTIGUADOR ORGAN. It is necessary to know that this FATAL ORGAN is the very TAIL OF SATAN.

In times lost in the profound night of all the ages, the poor INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL understood his sad situation as a little machine necessary for the economy of nature, and desired to die; it was then necessary the intervention of certain SACRED INDIVIDUALS who committed the error of giving this sad human anthill the abominable KUNDARTIGUADOR ORGAN.

When the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL forgot his sad situation as a LITTLE MACHINE and fell in love with the beauties of this world, the ABOMINABLE KUNDARTIGUADOR ORGAN was eliminated; unfortunately the evil consequences of said organ were something that could not be forgotten; they remained deposited in the five cylinders of the machine.

The first cylinder is that of the INTELLECT and is found in the BRAIN; the second is that of the EMOTIONS and resides in the SOLAR PLEXUS, at the level of the navel; the third is that of MOVEMENT and is rooted in the UPPER part of the SPINAL COLUMN; the fourth is that of INSTINCT, and is found in the LOWER part of the SPINAL COLUMN; the fifth is that of SEX and resides in the SEXUAL organs.

The evil consequences of the ABOMINABLE KUNDARTIGUADOR ORGAN are represented by thousands and millions of small I’s of animal and perverse type.

In the INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL there exists no single command center, nor a permanent I or EGO. Each IDEA, each feeling, each sensation, each desire, each I DESIRE such thing, I DESIRE SUCH OTHER THING, I LOVE, I DO NOT LOVE, is a different I.

All these small and quarrelsome I’s argue among themselves, fight for supremacy; they are not bound together, nor coordinated in any way. Each of these small I’s depends on the changes of circumstances of life and on the changes of impressions.

Each small I has its own ideas, its own criterion; there exists no true INDIVIDUALITY in the poor INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL; his concepts, his acts, his ideas depend on the I that at the moment dominates the situation.

When an I becomes enthusiastic about GNOSIS, it swears eternal loyalty to our GNOSTIC MOVEMENT; this enthusiasm lasts until another I that is opposed to these studies takes over power; then we see with astonishment that the subject withdraws and even becomes our enemy.

The I that today swears ETERNAL LOVE to a woman is later displaced by another I that has nothing to do with such oath, and then the woman suffers disappointment.

Such I follows another automatically, and some always appear accompanied by others, but there exists among all those I’s no order or system.

Each of those I’s believes at a given moment that it is the whole, but in reality it is no more than an infinitesimal part of our functions, even though it has the impression of being the totality, the reality, the complete human being.

The curious thing is that we give credit to the I of a moment, even though moments later that I is displaced by another I. THE LUNAR EGO is a sum of I’s that must be eliminated in radical form.

It is necessary to know that each of the five cylinders of the machine possesses its own characteristics, which we must never confuse.

Among the five centers of the machine there exist differences of speed.

People praise thought very much, but in actual truth the INTELLECTUAL CENTER is the slowest. Then, even though much faster, come the INSTINCTIVE and MOTOR or MOVEMENT CENTERS, which have more or less the same speed. The fastest of all is the SEXUAL CENTER, and following it in order of rapidity is the EMOTIONAL CENTER.

There exists an enormous difference of speeds between each of the five CENTERS of the machine.

Studying ourselves, self-observing ourselves, we will see plainly that MOVEMENT is faster than thought, and that emotion is more rapid than any movement and any thought.

The MOTOR and INSTINCTIVE centers are THIRTY THOUSAND times faster than the INTELLECTUAL CENTER. The EMOTIONAL CENTER, when it works at the speed proper to it, is THIRTY THOUSAND times faster than the MOTOR and INSTINCTIVE centers.

The various CENTERS each have their TIME completely distinct. The velocity of the centers explains a great number of well-known phenomena that ordinary common science cannot explain; it suffices to recall the astonishing speed of certain psychological, physiological, and mental processes.

ANGER produces PAIN; if we put an end to ANGER, we sacrifice PAIN, we destroy it.

It is necessary to SELF-OBSERVE ourselves from moment to moment; the PLURALIZED I works in each of the FIVE CENTERS OF THE MACHINE. Sometimes it is an I of the EMOTIONAL CENTER that reacts angrily or jealously or enviously; sometimes the prejudices and slanders of the intellectual center with all their fury attack violently; other times the perverse erroneous habits lead us to failure, etc., etc., etc.

Each CENTER has FORTY-NINE SUBCONSCIOUS regions, and in each of those regions live millions of I’s that we need to DISCOVER through deep MEDITATION.

When we SELF-DISCOVER ourselves, when we make ourselves CONSCIOUS of the activities of the I in the five centers of the machine and in the forty-nine subconscious regions, then we AWAKEN CONSCIOUSNESS.

To become conscious of the entire PROCESS of the I in the five cylinders of the machine is to make the SUBCONSCIOUS CONSCIOUS.

It is impossible to eliminate the different I’s if we have not first CONSCIOUSLY COMPREHENDED them in the forty-nine SUBCONSCIOUS regions.

We can work with PROSERPINA, the QUEEN of HELL, eliminating I’s, on the condition of first comprehending the defect we wish to extirpate (see chapter eight).

PROSERPINA only eliminates the I’s that personify the defects we have comprehended in INTEGRAL form.

It is impossible to reach ATMAN-VIDYA without having first KNOWN OURSELVES.

NOSCE TE IPSUM; HUMAN BEING, KNOW THYSELF, and thou shalt know the universe and the GODS.

To know the activity of the five cylinders of the machine in all the forty-nine corridors or SUBCONSCIOUS regions of IADALBAOTH means to KNOW ONESELF, to make the SUBCONSCIOUS CONSCIOUS, to SELF-DISCOVER OURSELVES.

Whoever wishes to rise must first descend. Whoever wishes ATMA-VIDYA must first descend into his own atomic infernos; the error of many students of OCCULTISM is to want first to RISE without having first descended.

In coexistence with people our defects spontaneously surface, and if we are ALERT, we discover from which CENTER they proceed; then by means of MEDITATION we will discover them in each and every one of the forty-nine SUBCONSCIOUS regions.

ONLY BY DYING TO THE I in total form do we attain ATMA-VIDYA, ABSOLUTE ILLUMINATION.

Sacrifice

THE SATTVIC SACRIFICE is made according to the DIVINE COMMANDMENTS, concentrating on the worship, only for the worship, by human beings who do not desire the result.

THE RAJASIC SACRIFICE is made through temptation and desiring the fruits.

The TAMASIC SACRIFICE is always made against the commandments, without FAITH, without the MANTRAMS, without charity for anyone, without LOVE for humanity, without offering the sacred alms to the PRIESTS or Gurus, etc., etc., etc.

The third factor of the REVOLUTION of CONSCIOUSNESS is SACRIFICE, but SATTVIC SACRIFICE, without desiring the fruit of action, without desiring reward — disinterested, pure, sincere sacrifice, giving one’s life so that others may live and without asking for anything in reward.

The reader must again study the lesson of VIRGO, chapter six, in order to comprehend well what the three GUNAS of the PRAKRITI are, called SATTVA, RAJAS, and TAMAS.

The LAW of the SOLAR LOGOS is sacrifice. He is crucified at the dawn of life in every new world that arises from CHAOS, so that all beings may have LIFE and have it in abundance.

Everyone who has attained the SECOND BIRTH must SACRIFICE himself for humanity, raise the torch on high to teach others the path that leads to the LIGHT.

He who SACRIFICES himself for humanity attains the VENUSTIC INITIATION. It is urgent to know that the VENUSTIC INITIATION is the INCARNATION of the CHRIST in the human being.

Whoever INCARNATES THE CHRIST in HIMSELF must live the entire COSMIC DRAMA.

THE VENUSTIC INITIATION has SEVEN grades; it begins with the event of BETHLEHEM and ends with the DEATH and RESURRECTION of the LORD.

Whoever attains the VENUSTIC INITIATION also becomes a CHRIST. Only with the three factors of the REVOLUTION of consciousness does one attain the VENUSTIC INITIATION.

The sign of AQUARIUS governs the calves. The Brazilians call the calves “VENTRE DAS PERNAS,” “BELLY OF THE LEGS,” and they are not mistaken, because seriously the calves are a marvelous magnetic belly.

We have arrived at the NIGHT-MOTHER of Egyptian Cosmology, the profound ocean of PISCES, the INITIATIC boundless darkness of ABSOLUTE ABSTRACT space; the first element of the abyss where the undines guard the GOLD of the RHINE or FIRE of DIVINE and GENESIAC THOUGHT.

PISCES is wisely symbolized by two FISH; the fish, the Fish, is the SOMA of the MYSTERIES OF ISIS. THE FISH IS THE LIVING SYMBOL OF PRIMITIVE GNOSTIC CHRISTIANITY.

The TWO FISH of PISCES linked by a hyphen have a profound GNOSTIC significance; they represent the two SOULS of the PRIMORDIAL ELOHIM submerged in the deep waters of the NIGHT-MOTHER.

We have already explained in preceding chapters that the INNERMOST, the BEING, ATMAN, has two SOULS: one FEMININE, another MASCULINE.

We have already explained that the SPIRITUAL SOUL, BUDDHI, is feminine. We have already said and we repeat that the HUMAN SOUL, superior MANAS, is masculine.

The sacred pair, the DIVINE ETERNAL MATRIMONY, is always symbolized by two fish linked by a hyphen; this latter is the BEING ATMAN.

The sacred pair, the two eternal fishes, work between the waters of the abyss when the dawn of the MAHAMANVANTARA arrives.

The two INEFFABLE FISH work under the direction of ATMAN when the hour of the dawn of creation arrives.

However, it is good to remember that ISIS and OSIRIS could never work in the GREAT WORK without the famous MERCURY of SECRET PHILOSOPHY. In this SEXUAL MERCURY is found the key to all power.

A circle with a vertical line crossing through it, hieratic symbolism, is the most sacred union of the ETERNAL FEMININE with the ETERNAL MASCULINE; the INTEGRATION of opposites in the ESSENTIAL, ineffable and Divine MONAD.

From the GREAT MOTHER-SPACE arises the Monad, the BEING. From the GREAT OCEAN rise the ELOHIM to work at the dawn of the MAHAMANVANTARA.

WATER is the feminine element of all that is created, from which comes the MATER LATINA, and the letter M, terribly DIVINE.

In GNOSTIC CHRISTIANITY, MARY is the same ISIS, the MOTHER OF THE COSMOS, the eternal MOTHER-SPACE, the deep waters of the abyss.

The word MARY is divided into two syllables; the first is MAR, which reminds us of the deep ocean of PISCES. The second is IA, which is a variant of IO (iiioooo), the august name of the MOTHER-SPACE, the circle of NOTHINGNESS, from which everything emanates and to which everything returns; the ONE, the ONE only one of the manifested universe, after the night of the great Pralaya or annihilation.

The fish is the most sacred symbol of PRIMITIVE GNOSTIC CHRISTIANITY. It is a pity that thousands of students of occultism have forgotten the GNOSIS of the fish.

On our planet earth live seven HUMANITIES with physical bodies, and of all the seven, the last is ours, the only one that is failed by having lost the GNOSIS.

The other six HUMANITIES live in a JINN state, in the FOURTH DIMENSION, either within the interior of the EARTH, or in many JINN regions and lands.

The AGE of PISCES should not have been a failure as it really was. During the sign of PISCES one must vocalize one hour daily. Let us remember that in the beginning was the VERB and that the VERB was with GOD and that the VERB was GOD.

In ancient times the seven vowels of nature resounded throughout the entire human organism from head to feet, and now it is necessary to restore the seven notes in the marvelous harp of our organism, to restore the lost powers.

When the Pisceans fall into extreme indifference and passivity, they let themselves be carried along by the current of the river of life, but when they see the gravity of their conduct, they bring their steel will into play, and then radically change the whole course of their existence.

The Pisceans of the superior type are GNOSTICS one hundred percent; they possess an unbreakable steel will and a very elevated sense of moral responsibility.

The superior type of PISCES produces great ILLUMINATED ONES, MASTERS, AVATARS, KINGS, INITIATES, etc., etc.

The inferior type of PISCES has a marked tendency to LUST, alcoholism, gluttony, sloth, pride.

The Pisceans like travel, but not all can travel. The Pisceans have great imagination and a tremendous sensitivity.

It turns out very difficult to comprehend the PISCEANS; only the PISCEANS can comprehend the Pisceans.

Everything that for common and ordinary people has great importance, for the Pisceans is worth nothing; but they are diplomatic, they adapt to people, they pretend to be in agreement with them.
