Many persons, upon reading this book, will doubt or not believe that what is written is possible; but we know that by doubting, by not believing, by being skeptical, etc., nothing is found, and in order to find one must seek. By doubting or not believing, what exists in nature does not cease to exist. Therefore we invite all persons of good will to study profoundly the science of life, in order to transcend death. No one who lacks an objective knowledge of death can dare to discuss it without knowing it.
Many persons with limited imagination will try to limit other imaginations so that they may not understand, but those courageous ones who still retain something of consciousness can launch themselves into the search for knowing, and for that they must not limit the Infinite space by means of the imagination.
We, the fortunate disciples of the VENERABLE MASTER SAMAEL AUN WEOR, bear witness to what we have seen and heard. Therefore we speak with objective, exact knowledge, and not from mere beliefs. We can speak of personal experiences without commenting on sacred matters that are forbidden to be communicated in the world of the profane, because if we were to communicate them we would be unworthy.
By conducting ourselves as true human beings and by handling our life in all states of consciousness scientifically, we can transcend the second death, of which the dogmatic sects speak so much. And if we do not handle life in all its manifestations intelligently, we run the inevitable risk of disintegrating — that is what they call the SECOND DEATH; the second death is the disintegration that takes millions of years.
We must create the existential bodies in order to eliminate death. Let us study METAPHYSICS more deeply. Let us cast off dogmatic beliefs. Let us launch ourselves into the search for knowing. Let us pay close attention to those things that injure life in all its aspects, and let us not damage it. Any error one commits outside of the body is not as harmful as the errors one commits against one’s own body. When we commit errors against our body, we not only shorten its life but can also lose it, and what is worse, we even injure it in its most subtle state in accordance with the abuses we commit upon the physical, the mental, etc.
We have decided to reproduce this book with the purpose of further spreading the pure teachings of general interest of MASTER SAMAEL AUN WEOR, which are an abundance of science and of life for whoever puts them into practice.

Chapter Two: INTRODUCTION
Birth and death are two scientific processes of GREAT NATURE. Persons are not the ones who are born and die, because persons are beyond these processes. It is the bodies of persons that die and are born. It is absurd to say that so-and-so has died. The more correct thing is to say that such a person has lost his body, or has DISINCARNATED. The person is that which thinks, loves, hates, desires, etc. The body is only the vehicle or HUMAN MACHINE in which the person walks and expresses itself.
Unfortunately the common run of people are completely ignorant of their own INTERIOR LIFE, thus confusing the body with the person. It is necessary to study this matter in order to spare ourselves pain. Truly, PAIN is always the result of IGNORANCE AND ERROR. People are born weeping and die weeping out of sheer IGNORANCE. For those who awaken consciousness, death is as sweet as birth, because both things are needed from the scientific point of view, just as the day is needed to do our daily labor and the night for the body’s repose.
When we awaken consciousness, we then understand that, upon disincarnating, we must devote ourselves to repose and completely forget those activities proper to CELLULAR LIFE or the PHYSICAL WORLD. Then we can travel happily through infinite spaces because we become free from the forces of gravity to which we are subject in the world of three dimensions, that is, the physical world. Here it is not a matter of believing or not believing, but of VERIFYING.
It is necessary to make a modification to our ordinary system of living. It is absurd to allow life to unfold MECHANICALLY. We need to make SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS of all our habits and customs. We need to know deeply all that we are in every level of human activity. We must consciously handle all our THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, MOVEMENTS, INSTINCTS, AND SEXUAL IMPULSES. We must know that mechanical life is proper to the ANIMAL STATE. We do not belong to that state and therefore we must learn to live within HIGHER NORMS.
Every life in the physical world is always the result of the prior one with its good and bad consequences. Every body that comes to us is always the exact instrument of our KARMA. We already know that KARMA is the LAW OF COMPENSATION. There are those who are born in comfort and those who are born in misery. AS THE CAUSE, SO THE EFFECT — the wicked are obliged to incarnate among the wicked, the virtuous among saints, and so on. When we change the CAUSES, we also change the EFFECTS.
Those who think that the death of the body is also the death of the person, and who, on that account, live committing all manner of crimes, will be obliged to PAY in their future return for every ERROR COMMITTED, whether they believe it or not, because the LAW is the LAW and no one can mock it with impunity. We call very special attention to the dogmatic materialists who believe only in coarse facts and in the mechanical movements of NATURE.
We warn them that above and below the PERCEPTIONS of the PHYSICAL SENSES there are ULTRASENSIBLE FUNCTIONS which we must not deny intransigently, but must patiently study and investigate. Beyond the BODY is the PERSON. Beyond the nucleus is ENERGY AND INTELLIGENCE. Truly in that beyond is the CAUSA CAUSORUM of all the PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS of the past, the present, and the future. That beyond is the SUPERIOR DIMENSIONS of space, which exist and shall exist whether people say they believe or do not believe.
We invite study. We invite investigation. We invite the abandonment of dogmatism and of ancestral inheritance, because they belong to the past. Now we are in AQUARIUS. AQUARIUS is the era of direct KNOWING. It is the era of PRACTICAL SCIENTISM. Now the INTERNAL REVOLUTION comes. The external life has already given its partial fruits to science. Now comes the COMPLETE study of what is within and what is without, in PERFECT EQUILIBRIUM.

Chapter I
For those who awaken consciousness, death is as sweet as birth, because both things are needed from the scientific point of view, just as the day is needed to do our daily labor and the night for the body's repose.
Chapter Three: DEATH
During the course of existence, different types of energy flow through the human organism. Each type of energy has its own system of action; each type of energy manifests itself in its own time. At two months from conception we have the digestive function; at four and a half months from conception, the motor and muscular force manifests itself, which is related to the birth of the respiratory and pulmonary function. At ten and a half months, growth — with all its marvelous metabolisms and connective tissues. Between the child’s second and third year, the frontal fontanel of the newborn closes, leaving the cerebro-spinal system perfectly formed.
During the first seven years, the human personality is formed. At fourteen years the personal energy appears, flowing overwhelmingly through the neuro-sympathetic system. At thirty-five years sex appears in its transcendental form as creative emotion. It is upon reaching this age that we can manufacture what is called the Soul. The normal human being does not have a Soul; better said, he is not yet a human being, nor does he have a Soul.
The intellectual animal, falsely called normal man, is a machine controlled by the legion of the “I”; this is pluralized. “I must read a book,” says the intellectual function; “I am going to a soccer match,” says the motor function; “I am hungry, I shall not go anywhere,” declares the digestion; “I prefer to go to a woman’s place,” declares the passional “I”; etc., etc., etc. All these “I’s” quarrel among themselves. The “I” that today swears fidelity to Gnosis is displaced by another that hates Gnosis.
The “I” that today adores a woman is later displaced by another that abhors her. Only by manufacturing SOUL do we establish a permanent principle of Consciousness within ourselves. The one who has Soul lives consciously after death. The Soul can be created by the accumulation of the finer energies that the organism produces, and by their crystallization through supreme efforts to become self-conscious in total and definitive form. Unfortunately the intellectual animal called man clumsily wastes these energies on cravings, fears, anger, hatred, envy, passions, jealousies, etc.
It is urgent to create conscious will; it is indispensable to submit all our thoughts and acts to the INTERNAL JUDGMENT. Only thus can we create what is called the Soul. We need to know ourselves profoundly in order to create SOUL.
The Ray of Death
The Ray of Death reduces the so-called human being to a simple molecular quintessence, just as a ton of flowers can be reduced to a single drop of essential perfume. The energy of death, being so strong, totally destroys the human organism. It is a current of such enormously high voltage that it inevitably destroys the human organism when it comes to circulate through it. Just as a lightning bolt can shatter a tree, so too the Ray of Death reduces the human body to ashes; it is the only type of energy that the organism cannot resist.
This ray connects death with conception; the two extremes touch. When the essence detaches from the old body, under the terrible impact of the Ray of Death, a tremendous electrical tension is produced, and a key note, whose axiomatic result is the movement and combination of the GENES that determine the future physical body. Thus it is that the subtle constituents of the fertilized egg arrange themselves in their corresponding disposition, having as their basis the electrical tension and the key note of death.
What Continues
Two things go to the sepulcher: the first is the physical body, the second is the human personality. The latter, as we have already said, is formed during the first seven years of childhood and is strengthened by experiences. Sometimes the personality wanders about the cemetery; at other times they come out of their sepulcher when their mourners visit it and bring flowers. But little by little the personality disintegrates. The personality is energetic and atomic. The personality is perishable. There is no tomorrow for the personality of the deceased; it is mortal.
The personality does not reincarnate. The personality is a child of its time and dies in its time. That which continues is the ESSENCE, that is, the GHOST OF THE DEAD. Within that ghost the REINCARNATING EGO unfolds — the “I,” the ME-MYSELF. This last is a legion of devils that continue on. It is false to divide ourselves between two “I’s,” one of an inferior type and another of a superior type. The “I” is a LEGION OF DEVILS that develop within ourselves, that is all.
Much is spoken in occult literature of a “HIGHER I,” of a “DIVINE I,” but it turns out that that “HIGHER I” is not any such “I.” The DIVINE SEITY transcends all I-ness. That which has no profane name is the Being, the Innermost.
The ESSENCE is molecular; the essence, the ghost of the dead, normally lives in the molecular world; just as in the physical world we use a cellular body, in the molecular world we use a molecular body.
The «Tibetan Book of the Dead» says textually the following: “O nobly born… thy present body, being a body of desire… is not a body of gross matter, so that now thou hast the power to pass through any mass of rocks, hills, crags, earth, houses, and Mount Meru itself, without encountering obstacle… Thou art now endowed with the power of miraculous actions, which, however, is not the fruit of any Samadhi, but a power that comes to thee naturally… Thou canst, instantaneously, arrive in whatever place thou wishest; thou hast the power to arrive there in the time a man would take to open or close his hand. These various powers of illusion and of changing form, desire them not, desire them not.”
The Vital Body
In the human organism there exists a THERMO-ELECTRO-MAGNETIC body. This is the Vital Body. This body is the seat of organic life. No organism could live without the Vital Body. Each atom of the Vital Body penetrates within each atom of the physical body to make it vibrate intensely. All chemical, physiological, and biological phenomena, every phenomenon of perception, every metabolic process, every action of calories, etc., have their basis in the Vital Body.
This body is, in reality, the superior section of the physical body, the FOUR-DIMENSIONAL body. In the last instant of life, this body escapes from the physical organism. The Vital Body does not enter the sepulcher. The Vital Body floats near the sepulcher and slowly disintegrates as the corpse disintegrates. Only the corpse and the personality of the deceased enter the sepulcher.
The Vital Body has more reality than the physical body. We know very well that every seven years the physical body changes totally, and not a single old atom remains in that body. However, the Vital Body does not change. Within that body are contained all the atoms of childhood, adolescence, youth, maturity, old age, and decrepitude. The physical body belongs to the world of three dimensions. The Vital Body is the body of the fourth dimension.
The Fifth Dimension
The ghosts of the deceased live in the fifth dimension, which is ETERNITY. Length, breadth, and height form the three dimensions of the cellular world. Time is the fourth dimension; eternity, the fifth dimension; and that which is beyond eternity and time corresponds to the sixth dimension.
Truly, liberation begins in the sixth dimension; the world of the Divine Spirit is the ELECTRONIC world, the world of the sixth dimension. Everyone who dies enters the fifth dimension. Eternity opens to devour the deceased, then expels them from its bosom to return them to the world of time and of physical form. The deceased are expelled from eternity because they do not yet possess the BEING. Only those who possess the BEING can live in eternity. The BEING is the Innermost, the Spirit. It is necessary to work first with molecular matter to manufacture Soul; then to refine the energy of this Soul to a higher degree to manufacture Spirit. We must transmute molecular matter into electronic, and fuse the atom, in order to liberate the sacred fire that converts us into divine spirits.
Chapter II
The Soul can be created by the accumulation of the finer energies that the organism produces, and by their crystallization through supreme efforts to become self-conscious in total and definitive form.
Chapter Four: THE ANGELS OF DEATH
Contemporary positivist philosophy is founded on the existence of matter (materialism) and of energy. Much has been discussed concerning force and matter, but these continue, in spite of all speculations, being the unknown X and Y. The reactionary adherents of positivist philosophy live constantly trying to define the one by the other; it is ridiculous, frighteningly ridiculous, to define the unknown by the unknown. Materialist philosophy says: “Matter is that in which the changes called movements occur; and movements are those changes that occur in matter.” This is the identity of the unknown: X = Y, Y = X — total ignorance, vicious circle, absurdity.
Truly, no one has ever seen matter or energy. The human being only perceives phenomena, things, forms, images, etc.; we have never seen the substance of things. The given substance is not precisely matter, but wood, copper, tin, stone, etc.; nor have we ever seen energy separated from movement. We have never seen matter separated from forms and from objects.
A handful of earth has a definite form; a statue has a definite form; the planet Earth has a definite form, etc., etc., etc.
Truly, so-called Matter is only a concept as abstract as beauty, goodness, value, or labor, etc.; no one is capable of seeing the substance of things in itself. No one knows the “THING IN ITSELF.”
We see the physical image of a human being, but we do not see the thing in itself, the body in itself of the human being; only by developing the spatial sense can we see the body in itself, the thing in itself. Space is the vehicle of the mind, and only with the sense of space can we apprehend the thing in itself; this is the Vital Body of the human being. What would be the thing in itself of a plant? Its Vital Body. What is the thing in itself of an animal? The animal’s Vital Body. What is the thing in itself of the Earth? The Vital Earth.
The Vital World represents the Earth in itself. Upon this Vital Earth depends the life of all organisms. The Vital Earth is found in the fourth dimension.
The point in motion leaves a trace, which is the line; the line in motion leaves a trace, which is the surface. The surface in motion becomes a solid; and the solid in motion becomes a hyper-solid. Truly, the hyper-solid is the thing in itself; the hyper-solid belongs to the fourth dimension. We can only see hyper-solids with the spatial sense; this is superior to the temporal sense. Truly, the temporal sense is only the surface of the spatial sense.
The point, on going out from itself, becomes a line. The line, on going out from itself, becomes the surface; the surface, on going out from itself, becomes a solid. The solid, on going out from itself with a movement in space, becomes a hyper-solid.
Hyper-solids are contained within the solid bodies. When the Vital Body goes out from within an organism, that organism inevitably disintegrates. The Vital Body belongs to the fourth dimension, and the human essence to the fifth dimension.
The angels who govern the processes of conception live normally in the fourth dimension, and those who govern death in the fifth dimension. The former connect the EGO with the SPERMATOZOON; the latter break the connection that exists between the EGO and the physical body.
The Angels of Death are, in themselves, perfect human beings; it is very bitter to lose a loved one, and it would seem as if the Angels of Death were too cruel, but truly they are not, even though it may seem unbelievable. The Angels of Death work in accordance with the Law, with supreme wisdom and a great deal of love and charity. We can only understand this clearly when we identify ourselves with them in the molecular world and in the electronic world.
The Angels of Life give the human being a Vital body so that he can live. The Angels of Death take away from the human being his life. They do this by cutting the Silver Cord; this cord corresponds to the umbilical cord and is sevenfold in its internal intimate constitution. The Angels of Life connect the molecular body of the disincarnate with the spermatozoon. Thus they again come to have a new body. Truly, the Silver Cord is the thread of life that the Angels of Death break in their day and at their hour according to the law of destiny. This marvelous thread belongs to the superior dimensions of space, and can only be seen with the spatial sense.
The dying often see the Angel of Death as a rather horrible spectral skeletal figure. Truly, what happens is that he clothes himself in the attire that corresponds to his office. In practical life, the policeman wears his uniform, the doctor his white coat, the judge his robe, the priest his religious habit, etc. The funeral vestments and the skeletal figure of the Angels of Death horrify those who have not yet awakened Consciousness. The funeral symbols of the angels of death are: the scythe that reaps lives, the skull of death, the owl, the screech-owl, etc. Apart from their work, the appearance of the Angels of Death is that of beautiful children, sublime maidens, venerable masters, etc., etc., etc.
The Angels of Death are arranged in the form of hierarchies. Among them there are grades and grades, scales and scales, etc.
The Angels of Death have their temples in the molecular world; they also have their Schools, Palaces, and Libraries. There, in the immensity of the great ocean of life, exists a funereal palace where one of the principal geniuses of death has his abode; his face is like that of an ineffable maiden, and his body like that of a terrible man. This MARVELOUS BEING uses a totally androgynous electronic body. This Being is a DIVINE ANDROGYNE; under his direction work thousands of Angels of Death; in his library exist thousands of molecular volumes wherein are written the names and karmic data of all those who must die — each one, on his day and at his hour — according to the law of destiny. The science of death is terribly divine.
The intellectual animal falsely called man dies unconsciously and is born unconsciously, and so he walks blindly from the cradle to the sepulcher without knowing whence he comes or whither he goes. When we manufacture Soul we awaken Consciousness, and only then do we become conscious of the mysteries of life and death. Every human being with Soul can negotiate with the Angels of Death and disincarnate by will, in accordance with his necessities. This means being able to prolong life if it is considered necessary to perform or finish some labor in the physical world.
Those who have transfigured themselves in the electronic world, those who already possess an electronic body by having manufactured a Spirit, can command the Angels of Death and preserve a physical body for millions of years. These are the great saviors of humanity, the great rulers of the world. Let us remember the King of the World cited by Ossendowski in his book entitled «Beasts, Men, and Gods». This great Being lives in Agharti and possesses a body of indecipherable age.
Most ancient religious scriptures mention this great Being. We will remember SANAT KUMARA, the Ancient of Days, the great immolated one, the founder of the College of Initiates of the Great White Lodge. This adept lives in the Gobi Desert, in a solitary oasis. The body of this great Being has an age of more than eighteen million years. In his company reside, in the same oasis, a group of Adepts with immortal Lemurian bodies. All these Adepts travel with their physical body throughout the superior dimensions of space.
They have the power to teletransport themselves with their physical body through the fourth or fifth dimension. All of them exercise power over the Angels of Death. They are Adepts of the mysteries of life and of death. All of them had to work with the Great Arcanum.
Chapter III
When we manufacture Soul we awaken Consciousness, and only then do we become conscious of the mysteries of life and death.
Chapter Five: THE TRIBUNALS OF KARMA
The «Tibetan Book of the Dead» says: “Thou hast been in a swoon during the last three and a half days. As soon as thou recoverest from this swoon, thou wilt have the thought, ‘What has happened?’ For at that moment all the Samsara (phenomenal Universe) will be in revolution.”
The entrance into the electronic and molecular worlds at the moment of death is a tremendous trial for the Consciousness of the human being. The «Tibetan Book of the Dead» asserts that all human beings fall, at the moment of death, into a swoon lasting three and a half days. Max Heindel, Rudolf Steiner, and many other authors maintain that during those three and a half days the disincarnated Ego sees his whole life pass by in the form of images and in retrospective order. These authors assert that these memories are contained in the Vital Body. This is certain, but it is only part of the truth. The images and memories contained in the Vital Body, and their retrospective vision, are only the automatic repetition of something similar in the electronic world.
At the moment of death, and during the three and a half days following death, our Consciousness and our internal judgment are liberated by the electronic discharge. We then see our whole life pass by in retrospective form. The discharge is so strong that the human being afterwards falls into a state of coma and of incoherent dreams. Only those who possess what is called Soul can withstand the electronic discharge without losing Consciousness.
After the three and a half days have passed, the essence enters a state of consciousness of a lunar type. At the moment of death, we RELIVE life in retrospective form under the electronic discharge, but very rapidly and terribly. In the molecular world we again relive our just-past life in a much slower form, because time in the molecular world is slower than in the electronic world.
Under the lunar influence we relive our life from old age back to childhood and birth. The disincarnate then visit those places to which they were related, they relive each scene of their life, they say and do the same things they did, feeling joy for good deeds and profound moral pain for bad ones.
Once the retrospective work is concluded, it is clear that we have full consciousness of the final result of the life that has just passed. It is then and only then that whoever is not definitively lost takes the decision to amend his errors and pay what he owes. Only those who are completely lost do not respond to the terrible impacts of the molecular and electronic worlds. Truly those beings are already so materialized that, in fact, they return to the mineral world; this is the Christian hell, AMMIT the Egyptian monster that devours the dead with its gigantic crocodile jaws; the devourer of hearts, the cosmic vulture that consumes the refuse or remains of humanity, the Roman Avernus, the Hindustani Avitchi, etc.
All the planes of cosmic existence mentioned by Theosophy can be perfectly synthesized in four regions: Hell, Earth, Paradise, and Heaven. That is, the Mineral World, the Cellular World, the Molecular World, and the Electronic World.
The Final Judgment is what decides the fate of the disincarnate. Once the retrospective work is concluded, we must appear before the Tribunals of Karma. In those tribunals, we must answer to our charges; the sentence of the judges is definitive. Truly, it is not exact to affirm that all beings pass to the regions of Paradise or to states of celestial happiness after the judgment. Truly, only a small minority of beings pass to the ineffable regions mentioned by Theosophy. The Final Judgment divides the disincarnate into three groups:
Those who reincarnate immediately.
Those who rise to paradisiacal and celestial states, and those who reincarnate a long time afterward.
Those who enter the Mineral Kingdom (Infernus).
Chapter IV
Only those who possess what is called Soul can withstand the electronic discharge without losing Consciousness.
Chapter Six: THE FOUR CIRCLES
Our Solar System is a complete body with four complete circles. The circumference of each of the circles has its respective time pattern. The circle of the mineral region — called Hell or Avitchi, etc. — has a time scale that goes from 80,000, 8,000, 800 and 80 years, a terribly slow time very appropriate for all those mineral processes that take place within the terrestrial crust, in that kingdom called Hell or Avitchi. The circle of cellular life — that is, life as we know it, with our cellular body — extends from 80 years to 1 month, and within this time the organisms that live upon the surface of the earth normally develop.
The circle of molecular life extends from 1 month to 40 minutes, and measures all the phenomena and events of the molecular world. The molecular world is the region or regions of the atmosphere, the PARADISE of all religions. The circle of electronic life oscillates between 40 minutes and two and a half seconds; this is the time of the celestial regions with which phenomena of light and solar events are measured.
Avitchi (the Mineral Kingdom)
The infernal region of Avitchi is within the mineral strata of the earth. Avitchi is below the limits of external sensorial perception. Avitchi corresponds to the densest mineral regions. Avitchi could never be discovered with the physical senses, because it belongs to the regions of the Ultra. Avitchi has 7 terribly dense regions. Avitchi is symbolized by the hells of the great religions. Hell comes from infernus, the inferior region. Atomic hells of nature, these are the submerged worlds situated within the interior of the Earth.
When a human being has become too materialistic, too perverse, then, after the judgment, he enters into Avitchi. The «Tibetan Book of the Dead» says: “Falling there, thou wilt have to suffer unbearable sufferings, with no certain time of escape.”
Those who in each reincarnation became more and more dense and wicked end up entering into the kingdom that is akin to them. This is the kingdom of the rocks, where the petrified fossil remains of what were once living creatures live — these are the people of hearts of stone, hearts of flint, etc. These people no longer respond to any kind of punishment, and each time they reincarnate the only thing they do is work in evil and for evil. They love evil for the sake of evil itself, through persistence in crime, through their exaggerated materialism, they have become, in some manner, mineral; they have entered into the mineral kingdom disposed to share the fate of the mineral.
This is the smelting crucible whose purpose is to liberate a fraction of the causal principle, the raw material, the psychic product, a kind of embryo of Soul enclosed within the MINERALIZED DIABOLICAL GHOST.
In Avitchi the lost ones involve in time; from the human state they pass, involving, to the animal state, returning then to the vegetable kingdom, and finally to the mineral. Afterwards they disintegrate, being reduced to cosmic dust. When these tenebrous ones disintegrate, something escapes inward and upward; that which escapes is the embryo for the Soul, the raw material that returns to the world of the Spirit. Let us remember the vision of ER, which says thus: “And he said that all, as they arrived, turned with joy toward the meadow and camped there as in a congregation… and thus they discussed among themselves — some moaning and weeping when they remembered all the terrible things they had suffered and seen in their journey beneath the earth — saying that their journey had been of a thousand years…” (For according to the number of errors each man had committed and the number of those whom he had harmed, he suffered punishment for everything, successively, ten times for each one.) “Now, every hundred years they paid, for a hundred years are counted as the life of a man, and so it came about that the price of evil-doing was paid tenfold.”
The Cellular Region
The reincarnation of the human essence begins with conception. The trio that initiates our life is marvelous: conception, gestation, birth. It is astonishing to think that the human being begins as a cell, subject to the swift time of cells and living in the world of cells. It is extraordinary to know that after some eighty years he ends his human life, overloaded with memories.
The internal processes that initiate conception are tremendously swift, but as time passes, time itself becomes slower. All organic processes become slower.
Truly the relativity of time exists: human gestation lasts 10 lunar months; childhood, 100 lunar months; life, more or less, 1,000 lunar months.
The Electro-Magnetic imprint left by the life of a human being at the instant of death is tremendously impressed upon the conception of the fetus. The path of life is formed by the hoofprints of the horse of death. Death, judgment, and conception constitute a perfect trio.
«At the moment of death,» says a Tibetan doctrine, «the four sounds called “sounds that inspire sacred terror” are heard thus: that of the vital force of the earth element, a sound like the collapse of a mountain; that of the vital force of the water element, a sound like that of the waves of the ocean; that of the vital force of the fire element, a sound like that of the burning of a forest; that of the vital force of the air element, a sound like that of a thousand thunders reverberating simultaneously. The place where one takes refuge, fleeing from these noises, is the womb.»
When the spermatozoon unites with the egg, gestation begins. The cell with which human life begins contains 48 chromosomes. This speaks to us clearly of the 48 laws that govern the human organism. There exist 48 controls that regulate the human organism. The chromosomes are divided into genes; a hundred, or somewhat more, constitute a chromosome. The total constitution of the human organism is determined by the genes.
The genes are very difficult to study because they are constituted of few molecules; they vibrate rapidly and come to constitute an intermediate zone between the molecular world and the cellular world. These genes move and combine under the radioactive waves that the dying person emits in the last moments. Thus the new physical body is the exact result of our past reincarnation. The faithful instrument of our Karma.
The life of each human being in the physical world is a repetition of the past life plus its good and bad consequences. Time is round, and events repeat themselves, each one on its day and at its hour. That is the Law of RECURRENCE. Everything occurs again exactly as it happened, but with its consequences, both good and bad. That is the Law of Karma, the law of action and consequence.
Truly, the automatic repetition of facts has for its object to make us conscious of our own errors — that is the law. Unfortunately we can no longer do anything. Everything is repeated in its time and in its hour as the hands of the clock turn. To change external circumstances, we must first change internally. We can only change internally by manufacturing Soul and Spirit, that is, by possessing the Being. Only the Being can do. Only the Being can change all things.
Whoever wishes to possess the Being must transmute his sexual, volitional, emotional, mental, passional, motor, sentimental energies, etc. We must transmute the lead of our personality into the gold of the spirit: we must transmute the base metals — that is, our defects — into the purest gold of the Spirit; only thus shall we possess SOUL AND SPIRIT. It is necessary that the PLURALIZED “I” die. It is urgent that the BEING be born within us.
Life in the cellular world is a tremendous repetition of events, and only by dissolving the “I” on the basis of supreme COMPREHENSION AND HOLINESS, and by manufacturing SOUL AND SPIRIT, can we free ourselves from this tragic wheel of fatality. This is a horrible vicious circle, this is the wheel of SAMSARA.
The Molecular Region
The legend of Zoroaster says: “Every one whose good works exceed his sin by three grams goes to heaven; every one whose sin is greater, to hell; while he in whom both are equal remains in Hamistikan until the future body or resurrection.”
The molecular region is the region of Paradise. Those beings who suffered much in life and who were relatively very good in life immerse themselves in the happiness of the molecular world before taking on a new physical body. The molecular regions are saturated with happiness. The human essences, in the absence of the PLURALIZED “I,” rejoice in those ineffable regions.
The EGOS of those ESSENCES — that is, the “I’s” — meanwhile remain at the threshold of the mystery awaiting a new reincarnation. In the absence of the “I,” the essences unfold happily in Paradise. Those beings use a molecular body. Those who possess the CHRIST ASTRAL resplend with glory and are still happier in Paradise. This body resides only in a germinal state within its sexual seed, but it germinates and is born when the initiate knows the mysteries of sex. The CHRIST ASTRAL is a marvelous body. The persons who possess that body are truly immortal, for they never lose Consciousness.
Paradise, being molecular, penetrates and interpenetrates the entire terrestrial atmosphere, being related very especially with the IONOSPHERE which is located sixty miles above the terrestrial surface. That region is especially very pure. The astronauts, even when they travel through this zone, can never discover Paradise with their physical senses. Only with the spatial sense can we see Paradise. The Gnostic Movement teaches various scientific techniques for opening the spatial sense.
The molecular region has different ineffable countries. These are the planes and sub-planes of which the Theosophists and Rosicrucians speak. In those regions of bliss without limit, the disincarnate live happily until their time runs out. Dawn, day, evening, and night; childhood, adolescence, maturity, and old age, govern the whole cosmos, and even those who have disincarnated are subject to this law; in their time, those blissful beings must return to reincarnation.
Everything the disincarnate see is within their own mind. The devachanic states of which the Theosophical and Rosicrucian books speak attest to this. The state of unconsciousness into which the disincarnate fall under the electronic shock is something very lamentable, because even though they enjoy the bliss of the molecular regions, they are not sufficiently conscious as an Adept of the White Lodge would be. Only those who have acquired Soul live consciously in the Superior Regions of the Universe.
Common and ordinary disincarnate ones project into the molecular atmosphere their own yearnings and aspirations, and dream of them living in perfect happiness. The Adepts do not dream, because they awakened Consciousness, and live dedicated in this region to work, in accordance with the great Cosmic Laws, in the laboratory of Nature. This does not mean that the disincarnate do not enjoy the landscape or the landscapes in Paradise. Naturally they are infinitely happy with their atmosphere of happiness.
The «Egyptian Book of the Dead» and the book «The Art of Dying» of medieval times teach preparation for death. Human beings dedicated solely to material things will not have the bliss of experiencing the happiness of the Electronic World, due to the state of unconsciousness into which they fall. When those people live in the Molecular World, they spend their vacation there dreaming, they drink at the fountain of forgetfulness and dream deliciously.
The molecular body is microscope and telescope at the same time. With that body we can see the infinitely small and the infinitely great. In Paradise, the disincarnate participate in the intimate nature of all that is created, penetrating into the heart of all that exists. It is better to know things by penetration rather than by external perception. Life in Paradise would be better if the disincarnate one did not project his own scenery into the molecular world. There, each one projects into the atmosphere images of his own mind.
The Electronic World
The Electronic World is the Solar world of light, the world of the Spirit.
Those who have Spirit, those who possess an electronic body, exercise power over the molecular, cellular, and mineral worlds. Those who possess an electronic body are in a condition to help their disciples to create their own Souls. Every true instructor teaches his disciples to create Soul. Every human being with Soul is a true reformer. The human being with Soul can help his disciples by teaching them the theory of the acquisition of their Soul. But only a human being who has an electronic body will be able to work with those embryos of Souls in the same way that a human being with a cellular body can work with the minerals of the earth.
Certain affirmations have been exaggerated that say that the human being has Soul and Spirit. Truly, within the human essence there exists a fraction of the Causal Being, but that fraction is only the Raw Material that life has given us in order to manufacture SOUL.
Whoever manufactures Soul fuses himself with the Great Universal Soul. Whoever manufactures Spirit unites himself with the Universal Spirit of Life. “For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more; and from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken away.” “And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (MATTHEW 25:29-30).
The bliss of the human essence in the Electronic World, after death, is very fleeting, because the human being is not yet prepared to live continuously in that solar region.
Schools for the creation of Soul exist, and schools of sexual regeneration for the creation of Spirit also exist. The Gnostic Rosicrucian School is temple and school at the same time. The Gnostic Movement is intimately united with the authentic and legitimate Rosicrucian school that exists only in the superior worlds. Our Universal Christian Gnostic Movement teaches the royal path of Regeneration. Our School teaches how to create Soul and Spirit. Our Movement is initiating the New Aquarian Era amid the august thundering of thought.
The Electronic World is marvelous. In the Molecular world the light and sound diffuse 100 times faster than in the cellular region; but in the electronic region, it travels instantaneously, not along a line as in the cellular region, nor through an area like odor, but through a volume of space, and being independent of any atmosphere it can travel to the sun in seven minutes.
In the Electronic World we are Light and we live within all things. There we tremendously experience the reality of the UNITY of life. Electronic bodies move freely with the Great Light in the Divine Space. The human consciousness, clothed in its electronic body, includes within itself the life and the consciousness of all the beings of the Universe. This is Yoga, union with God.
Everyone who acquires Spirit must live the DRAMA OF THE INTERNAL CHRIST in his practical life, in his home, in his town, among his people. This is a cosmic drama that has existed from before the coming of Jesus. The essence of the drama, its principal event, is the death of the Initiate and his supreme surrender to the Father. This event occurs amid lightnings, thunders, and great earthquakes.
The transfiguration of the principal character into the electronic world, the acquisition of Spirit, is something grandiose and terribly divine. In those instants, the electronic force shifts, and the vertical fracture through all the planes of cosmic consciousness opens, for a moment, the internal worlds to the ordinary perception of the common and ordinary man in the street. Then all the marvelous things that the Gospels narrate occur, when Jesus expired on the Cross. The earth trembles, the sepulchers open, the Saints arise, and all exclaim: Truly, this is the Son of God!
