The Workshop Inside You

There is a workshop behind your eyes where everything in your life was first built. Today you will visit it, and you will be careful with what you build.

The Workshop Inside You
If you could see what your imagination has built today, you would weep. Not from sadness. From recognition. Every relationship you have, every room you walk into, every conversation you replay in the shower, was first rehearsed in that small private theater behind your eyes.

Most of us treat the imagination as a toy. A place for daydreams when work is boring. We do not realize we are operating heavy machinery. Neville said it plainly: imagination creates reality. Not later. Not metaphorically. Now, and literally.

The reason this is hard to accept is that the cause and the effect look so different. The cause is a quiet image in your private mind. The effect is a phone call, a job, a hello from a stranger that changes your week. The gap between them is full of what looks like coincidence, until you learn to see.

Imagination is not a place where pretty pictures live. It is the workshop where reality is forged. What you do there in private becomes the world you live in publicly.

Today, treat the workshop like the sacred place it is. Notice what you have been building in there. Notice how often you have been imagining things you do not actually want to live. The mind, untended, keeps rehearsing the worst scenarios as if rehearsing them might prevent them. It does not. It builds them.

Replace the rehearsal. Imagine, very specifically, one small scene that would mean your wish has been fulfilled. Spend one minute inside it. Do not strain. Let it feel true.

Then walk into your day knowing the workshop is open, and you are the craftsman. With Love,

Dr. Athena ❤️
