The Second Mountain
To the measure that the initiate begins to work with the fabrication of the Bodies of Gold, those of Fire go on dying and are replaced by those of Gold.
In the Second Mountain, the work is much more demanding than in the First Mountain; one cannot take a step except in function of death and birth — that is, the Three Factors definitively. Whoever is not dying in the Second Mountain cannot continue forward, and he cannot remain static — for one rises or falls; and since he is not dying, he must descend.
Death is basic and fundamental in order to be able to go on ascending through the Second Mountain.
In this Second Mountain there is no rest for the initiate, because the Law is upon him. When one wants to sit down to rest, the Law falls upon him and says: “Move along, move along!” That is, one cannot remain still.
There is where the drama of Jesus the Christ begins. The Cosmic Drama that every initiate must live in the internal worlds, step by step but very conscious — because there one cannot take a step without having consciousness. That drama becomes so conscious that one believes at times that he is in living flesh. Because there is no step the Master Jesus has taken that one does not have to take: the pain and the bitterness — everything is felt as if it were in living flesh.
For this reason the master Jesus said: “I am the way, I am the Truth,” because no one arrives at the Father except through the Christ — the total Christification.
In the Second Mountain is where one gives oneself the luxury of incarnating the Internal Christ, individual — He of all the powers over the Cosmos, over Nature, and over everything. This child is of a most beautiful figure, which cannot be explained verbally because the verb disfigures. He also is taken by the Law of Seven. He is born as a very small child, in arms, and goes on growing in accordance with the Three Factors that the initiate goes on working with and the Love — because the food of the Christ is Love, because He is Love.
To the measure that the initiate ascends, the child goes on growing and manifesting Himself with more power and more wisdom. He goes on awakening His terribly powerful faculties, where He already has power over the Cosmos and over all creations.
When this child develops, when the Causal Body of Gold is fabricated, is when the authentic Venustic Initiation is received. There is where he already has to begin to disintegrate the Cause I totally — so that not even the shadow of the defects remains — to be able to have access to the Third Mountain.
For this reason the Initiate has to disintegrate the Cause I. Without the disintegration of the Cause I, he could never set foot at the doors of the Absolute, because he can have incarnated the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit within him, but Father, Son and Holy Spirit before the Absolute are mechanical; he cannot penetrate, because the Ray of Creation is divided into three laws, which do not permit him to enter the Absolute.
For this reason it is said that “God himself has to die,” because on having incarnated the initiate the three superior forces of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, he is a God, capable of creating through the verb; but as before the Absolute he is mechanical, he has to pass through a Great Mystical Death so that those laws may fuse into a single law.
