Drugs and Alcoholism

This Conference has two objectives:

    1. To show the urgency of the elimination of these two defects, since they make any advance in the interior work, in the Great Work, impossible.
    1. How to teach persons affected by these two I-s to regenerate themselves. If the student has eliminated them, he can teach others how to do it.

Alcoholism

Let Us Know Algol — The Demon Algol

Algol is one of the ten most perverse demons of the planet Earth. He represents the head of the Medusa, cut off by Perseus. He manages all the processes of alcoholism and drug addiction within this planet.

Algol was the winner of the contest among the principal demons of the planet for being the one who originates the most degeneration in the race. The dictators of all times, the tyrants, do not ignore that it is easier to govern and to enslave a people of drinkers than a people of abstainers.

Let us see his mottoes:

    1. I am the owner of the planet.
    1. I am the thief of solar atoms.
    1. I am the father of corruption and misfortune.
    1. I am the father of degeneration and vice.
    1. I am the destroyer of homes.
    1. I am the cause of misery and ruin.
    1. Poison reason to destroy the race.

The characteristics of this demon are:

    1. He lubricates the Wheel of Samsara.
    1. The well of the abyss from which smoke rises as from a great furnace smells of alcohol.
    1. The abominable Algol turns incessantly within the vicious circle of time.
    1. He insinuates himself everywhere, always tempting.
    1. He seems to have the gift of ubiquity — he appears everywhere.
    1. The malign Algol is at times very refined and diplomatic.
    1. His kingdom is that of the Infernal Worlds, and he characterizes them intimately.
    1. He rises from the precipice to fall into the abyss.
    1. His homeland is the Earth.
    1. His slaves are all human beings.
    1. Drunkenness with Algol is opposed to Dionysian Intoxication.
    1. The demon Algol takes possession of the human body, astutely and slowly, until at last one day he hurls us into the abyss of drunkenness and madness.

The consequences he originates:

“And that he is indeed a demon or evil spirit, when he takes possession of man, is evident and easily demonstrable by his effects, which range from drunkenness to delirium tremens and madness, transmitting themselves to the descendants in the form of paralysis and other hereditary defects.”

“It is unquestionable that, being a product of disintegration, which also originates in our organism — among those that are eliminated through the skin — it has a disgregating, dissolving, and destructive vibratory tendency, drying our tissues and destroying the nerve cells, which are gradually replaced by cartilage.”

  • It ends the possibilities of Being.

  • With each drop of alcohol goes the energy or wealth of the Microcosm.

  • In sex it leads to the worst basenesses (Infra-Sex).

  • It prevents the attainment of scientific Chastity (lighting the Sacred Fire and raising the Kundalini).

  • It revives the dead I-s.

  • It increases weakness.

  • In a state of drunkenness one is more influenceable to any suggestion.

  • It prevents concentration and originates distraction.

  • It stimulates fantasy.

  • It develops irresponsibility and non-fulfillment.

  • It ends the religious principles, the family, and society.

  • It weakens the ethical sense, the capacity to think independently, and individual liberty.

  • It ends the human part of the individual — animalizes him.

  • It influences crime.

  • It prostitutes religions.

  • The consequences of pleasure are pain, infallibly.

  • The atoms of the Hidden Enemy, similar to microscopic fractions of glass, very subtly become embedded within the living cells of the organism over time.

Warnings

Listen well to me, Gnostic students: by the light of the sun or of the moon, by day or by night, with the demon Algol one must be radical! Any compromise, transaction, diplomacy, or negotiation with that malign spirit is condemned, sooner or later, to failure.

Listen, friends! With the sinister demon Algol it is not possible to make compromises, arrangements, or shady deals of any kind.

Alcohol is very treacherous, and sooner or later it stabs us in the back.

Wretched the religious guide, the priest, the mystic, or the prophet who commits the error of becoming drunk with the abominable alcohol!

It is well to work for the salvation of Souls, to teach the Doctrine of the Lord, but truly I say unto you, it is not just to throw rotten eggs against those who follow you.

Since liquor is related to the Vayu Tattva (the air element), drinking it we shall fall like the inverted pentalpha — head down and legs up — into the abyss of perdition and frightful lamentations.

“Never drink, I say to you, the cursed liquor — for if you drink it, soon you shall stray from the path.”

That woman of the Apocalypse of Saint John, dressed in scarlet purple and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, holding in her hand a golden chalice full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication, drinks alcohol — that is the Great Harlot whose number is 666.

The Drugs

The psychological unfolding of man permits us to evidence the crude realism of a superior level in each one of us.

When one has been able to verify by himself and in a direct form the concrete fact of having two men in oneself (the inferior in the normal common ordinary level, the superior in a more elevated octave), then everything changes. In this case we try to act in life according to the fundamental principles we carry in the depth of the Being. Just as there exists an exterior life, so also there exists an interior life. The exterior man is not all; psychological unfolding teaches us the reality of the Interior Man.

The exterior man has his way of being; he is a thing with multiple attitudes and typical reactions in life — a marionette moved by invisible threads.

The Interior Man is the authentic Being; he processes himself in other very different laws; he could never be converted into a robot. The exterior man takes no stitch without a thimble: he feels that he has been paid badly; he pities himself; he self-considers himself too much; if he is a soldier he aspires to be a general; if he is a worker in a factory he protests when he is not promoted; he wants his merits to be duly recognized, etc.

No one could arrive at the Second Birth — to be born again, as the Lord’s Gospel says — while he continues to live with the psychology of the inferior common ordinary man.

When one recognizes one’s own nothingness and interior misery, when one has the courage to review one’s life, indubitably one comes to know by oneself that one in no way possesses merits of any kind.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Poor in spirit, or indigent in spirit, are truly those who recognize their own nothingness, shamelessness, and interior misery. This class of beings unquestionably receives Illumination.

“It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” It is ostensible that the mind enriched with so many merits, decorations, medals, distinguished social virtues, and complicated academic theories is not poor in spirit, and therefore can never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

To enter the Kingdom, the treasure of Faith becomes inescapable. While the psychological unfolding has not occurred in each one of us, Faith results in something more than impossible. Faith is pure knowledge — direct experimental wisdom.

Faith was always confused with vain beliefs; we Gnostics must never fall into such a grave error. Faith is direct experience of the Real; magnificent living experience of the Interior Man; authentic divine cognition. The Interior Man, knowing through direct mystical experience his own internal worlds, ostensibly also knows the internal worlds of all the persons who populate the face of the Earth.

No one could know the internal worlds of the planet Earth, of the solar system, and of the galaxy in which we live, without first having known his own internal worlds. This is similar to the suicide who escapes life through a false door.

The extra-perceptions of the drug addict have their particular root in the abominable organ Kundartiguador (the tempting serpent of Eden).

The Consciousness bottled up among the multiple elements that constitute the Ego processes itself by virtue of its own bottling.

The egoic consciousness becomes a comatose state, with hypnotic hallucinations very similar to those of any subject under the influence of one drug or another.

We can put this question in the following form: hallucinations of the egoic consciousness are equal to the hallucinations provoked by drugs.

Obviously, these two types of hallucinations have their original causes in the abominable organ Kundartiguador.

Indubitably, drugs annihilate the Alpha Rays (a very low frequency of brain activity that permits concentration); then, unquestionably, the intrinsic connection between mind and brain is lost; this in fact results in total failure.

The drug addict converts vice into religion, and, deviated, thinks he experiences the real under the influence of drugs — ignoring that the extra-perceptions produced by marijuana, L.S.D., morphine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, heroin, hashish, ecstasy, tranquilizing pills in excess, amphetamines, barbiturates, etc., etc., etc., are mere hallucinations elaborated by the abominable organ Kundartiguador.

The drug addicts, involving themselves, degenerating in time, finally submerge themselves definitively within the Infernal Worlds.

In the sixties begins the Era of Aquarius under the regency of Uranus. Then the Dionysian Wave vibrates intensely throughout all of Nature.

It is urgent to define Dionysus thus:

  • Voluntary transmutation of the sexual libido.

  • Mystical-transcendental ecstasy.

However, it is evident that the inhabitants of Earth, in their majority, were not capable of polarizing themselves positively with such a wave.

Positive Dionysian Pole: subliminal sexual delight, voluntary transmutation of the seminal entity, awakened Consciousness, Objective Knowledge, superlative Intuition, transcendental music of the great classical masters, etc.

Negative Dionysian Pole: sexual degeneration, infra-sexualism of every kind, homosexuality, lesbianism, demonic pleasures in the infernal worlds through drugs, mushrooms, alcohol; infernal music such as that of the new wave, etc.

Arriving at this part, the necessity of a didactic confrontation becomes unavoidable:

Dionysian intoxication, ecstasy, samadhi obviously result indispensable when it is a matter of experiencing that which is the Truth, the Real. Such exaltation is one hundred percent possible through the technique of Meditation.

Psychedelia is different. Translate this term thus: Psyche = Soul. Delia = Drug. Specifying, we shall say: the psychedelic is the anti-pole of Meditation. The hell of drugs is in the interior of the planetary organism where we live, beneath the same epidermis of the terrestrial crust.

Hallucinogenic mushrooms, pills, L.S.D., marijuana, etc., etc., evidently intensify the vibratory capacity of the subjective powers; but it is ostensible that they could never originate the awakening of the Consciousness.

Drugs fundamentally alter the sexual genes, and this is already scientifically demonstrated. As consequences of such negative genetic mutations, the birth of monster children is evident.

Meditation and psychedelia are incompatible, opposed, antagonistic; they could never be mixed.

Consequences of the Drug

We see very well how a young person begins to ingest the drug, and in a short time he is made into a decrepit old man, because the drug affects the sexual part; the person arrives at sexual impotence prematurely. Why? If it is inhaled through the nose, the breathing is connected directly with the sexual part, with the energy; and it is logical that it goes on ending the sexual part, and on ending the energy, it ends life rapidly.

If we glance at the vital body or etheric body, at the Fourth Coordinate — the vital body of a common ordinary person is seen resplendent, brilliant. By contrast in a drug addict, that vital part goes on losing color, disintegrating, losing its brilliance, until it remains as a cadaver. We know that the vital is what vitalizes or gives life and repairs the physical body in the moments in which the body rests or sleeps. If we lose the vital part, it is logical that we are on the edge of the GRAVE.

If we pass to the Fifth Dimension, we see the astral body of the drug addict, who goes about like an idiot, like a deranged lunatic, doing and undoing; and if we look within that astral body — what we call the ego, the demons we carry within ourselves — they are in a great feast; why? Because, by means of the drug, one is feeding those psychic elements that we wish to destroy; on the contrary, the drug is food for them.

If we pass to the mental body and examine the brain of a drug addict, the tissues of the brain of the mental body are seen totally destroyed; cracks open up and it goes on rotting, destroying itself; and the result is the repercussion on the physical part, in which the person becomes unbalanced and commits atrocities because of mental imbalance, because of the rupture of the mental body. And it is something graver still: if we pass to the causal world, the Essence comes to suffer the consequences of the drugs, because it goes super-asleep, going like a drunk man who wants to fall to the ground. Thus one sees the Essence of a drug addict.

So, take note: not only the three-dimensional damages, but internally the ravages that the drug makes upon a person who dedicates himself to its consumption. That is grave.

How Should These Defects Be Eliminated?

One must have as the objective the intimate Self-Realization in order to definitively triumph over alcohol and the drug.

If the person is interested in changing and coming out of the situation in which he finds himself, he must:

1. Self-observe:

  • Each of the desires and emotions we have in relation to alcohol or the drug.

  • Each of the intellectual justifications for drinking or consuming drugs.

  • Each of the acts of bad will in order to do what the I wants.

2. Supplicate the Divine Mother

For each of the discoveries we make through self-observation, we must supplicate the Divine Mother to eliminate that detail. If we do not give pleasure to the defect and do the above, in time we will begin to dominate the psychological I.

3. Imprisonment of the defects

In this case it becomes necessary to imprison some of these defects. For this we shall resort to the practice of Negotiations with the Law, so that they imprison them, and that they do not pose a problem in the physical world.

Generally, the cause of one falling into idleness and vices is unoccupation; one of the ways of entering into occupation without limit is the Sacrifice for Humanity. If the person who is regenerating himself helps others, by the law of correspondence, he will have the right that they help him internally.

4. Sublimation in the dawn hours

For persons who have fallen very low in the drug, it is additionally recommended to take them to sublimate in the dawn hours, between 4:30 and 6:00, to a park, for at least half an hour, and to breathe pure air. It is necessary to accompany them, because alone they cannot.

When the person shows symptoms of recovery, the sexual transmutation is taught to them — which will permit them to recover and put new neurons into activity. With the work in sex, both of birth and of death, on one side we go on creating the bodies, and on the other eliminating the diverse details that previously enslaved us.

5. Change of company

It is recommended, upon initiating help to the drug addict, that he leave the circle of friends with whom he shares those practices, and that he join a new group — for example, that of the knowledge or the conferences.

6. Reflection to accelerate the death of the I

To accelerate the process of death of the I, it is worth reflecting on some aspects:

  • Where has alcoholism or the drug brought us?

  • The damages done to the physical body.

  • How much did the drug or alcoholism influence our degeneration?

  • The bad relations that originated with other persons: spouse, children, parents, friends, etc.; with our work, colleagues, and the other beings who surround us.

  • The bad relations that originated with our own Being or with oneself.

  • The quantity of psychological conflicts it attracted to us in this existence.

To show the urgency of the elimination of these two defects, since they make any advance in the interior work, in the Great Work, impossible.
