The Eternal Feminine

The ignorance that philosophy and religion have about feminine nature is one of the causes of the bad treatment that traditionally has been given to woman. Especially, the three great monotheistic religions that prevail in the world —Christianity, Islam and Judaism— have contributed to that bad treatment having crystallized in society from immemorial times. The origin of this ignorance is found in the mistaken literal interpretation of the allegorical and symbolic accounts about the fall and degeneration of man that are found in the Sacred Scriptures.

INTRODUCTION

The ignorance that philosophy and religion have about feminine nature is one of the causes of the bad treatment that traditionally has been given to woman. Especially, the three great monotheistic religions that prevail in the world —Christianity, Islam and Judaism— have contributed to that bad treatment having crystallized in society from immemorial times. The origin of this ignorance is found in the mistaken literal interpretation of the allegorical and symbolic accounts about the fall and degeneration of man that are found in the Sacred Scriptures.

On the contrary, the Gnosis, like certain esoteric traditions rooted in the archaic Religion-Wisdom of the first epochs of humanity, grants to man and woman the just place they occupy in this creation. The Gnosis always taught that the masculine and the feminine are two manifestations of the One-Divinity: the Male and the Female were created as a single being —“The two shall not be but a single flesh” (MATTHEW 19:5)—, who integrated within himself the two opposite natures… The mysterious processes of Great Nature led to the separation of these two principles into separate forms; from then on, human bodies were born with differentiated sexes, according to the nature expressed in each of them…

Through the seven conferences that make up this new Verbo of Gold, Samael Aun Weor treats the subject objectively, bringing to our minds a new light upon the Eternal Feminine. One might think it is a book directed especially to women, but it is not so; the males will find in it a magnificent didactic to be able to better understand the feminine.

“Machismo” is as mistaken a position as “feminism.” Man and woman must travel hand in hand the path that leads them back to the paradisiacal primordial state.

The Path of the Spiritual Regeneration of man and woman is totally sexual; if man and woman hate one another, they are attacking the only means that can help them. Speaking in Tantric language, we shall say that “when one falls to the ground, one must rise with the help of the same ground…”

That which made us fall is the same that can help us rise. Sex is the door of exit and of entrance. The masculine and the feminine are eminently sexual…

Man and woman upon praying invoke God, but upon uniting sexually, they become God. The Path of Cosmic Realization is the path of the Perfect Matrimony…

…The concept that only men can attain Christification is false, because God is also woman. In the name of truth I must say, in emphatic form, that if God shines through the “Cleopatras” of the Island of Elephantine, that if God shines through the “Vestals” of Egypt and Persia and Greece and Rome and Syracuse, He also shines gloriously through the women of every time and of every epoch, and through the mother who cradles her child in her arms… So that, in the name of truth I must say, that woman has the same rights as man. Man is never more than woman, although he pretends to be.

The Universal Feminine Principle shines forth in every stone, in the singing bed of every brook, in the delightful mountain full of trees, in all Nature… The feminine principle shines forth in every work: in the bird that flies taciturn, that returns to its nest to cradle its children; in the fish that glides through the depths of the stormy Pontus, among the most terrible beasts of Nature.

The Universal Feminine Principle…, the Eternal Feminine, shines among the most distant stars that nest in the heart of every woman who has shone with the dissolution of the “Ego” and Christification.

So that, in the name of truth, we cannot but feel admiration before the Eternal Feminine… Osiris, unfolded, transformed into a woman, dwells with his love in the heart of the solar system. The Eternal Feminine is the seat from which all life springs in the dawn of the Aurora of the Mahamvantara. The Logos makes fecund the chaotic matter, makes the womb of the Virgin-Mother, of the Eternal Feminine, shine forth, so that the universe may arise from the chaos, gleaming…

So that, there is no reason why the women of the Gnostic Movement should feel sad or depressed, supposing that they only serve as a vehicle for the men who want to Christify themselves. Really, they have the same right and reach the same heights. If woman is the vehicle for man, through which the latter can Christify himself, I must also say to you, the gnostic sisters, that man is the instrument, the mediating vehicle, through which each of you can attain Christification.

The columns “J” and “B” of every temple are present in the heart temple. The masculine and feminine columns are not too close, nor too far; there is a space between both so that the light can penetrate between them.

The Eternal Feminine shines forth not only in that which has no name, not only in the Universal Spirit of Life, not only in the stars —that attract and repel one another in accord with the Law of Polarities—; the Eternal Feminine also shines forth within the atom, within the ions, within the electrons, within the protons, in the most infinitesimal particles of all that which vibrates and pulses in creation.

The Eternal Feminine keeps marvelous rhythm with the Eternal Masculine to create and once again to create. The Eternal Feminine, God himself converted into Mother, labors intensively in this creation. The Eternal Feminine is the ray that awakens the dormant consciousnesses of men.

The moment has arrived for every woman to raise with her right hand the torch of the Word to illuminate the path of men. With profound pain I must say: the men of this epoch march along the line of entropy, that is to say, they walk in descending, involutionary form.

The moment has arrived for women to extend their right hand to men to raise them up, to regenerate them, to make of them something distinct, something different.

The instant has arrived in which women understand that the masculine element is in involution in these times; the moment has arrived in which woman struggles intensively to regenerate man. So, then, to women falls in this Era of Aquarius a great role, which is to regenerate the decadent masculine element.

In the name of truth I must say, that love is the foundation of the intimate Self-realization of the Being. A perfect matrimony is the union of two beings, one who loves more, another who loves better. Love is the best religion accessible to the human species. For there to be love it is necessary that there be affinity of thoughts, affinity of feelings, identical preoccupations…

The kiss comes to be, precisely, like a mystical consecration of two souls eager to express in sensible form what they inwardly live. The sexual act comes to be the consubstantialization of love in the psychophysiological realism of our nature.

Love, in itself, is an effusion, an energetic emanation of the deepest that we have within, in the consciousness. Observe, for example, an old man in love; those forces that flow from the intimate make the endocrine glands of the entire organism vibrate intensively, and these intensify their hormonal production; such hormones circulate through the blood vitalizing the entire physical body, and thus the old man regenerates, rejuvenates, vitality shines forth in him.

Obviously, love is grandiose in itself. To love, how great it is to love! Only great souls can and know how to love. For there to be love, absolute affinity of feelings is needed. Love, in itself, is the summum of wisdom. Love cannot be defined, because then it is disfigured.

In the lands of the Orient, monuments are never raised to heroes, to males, but to the women who know how to love. The Eternal Feminine is rendered cult under the various Oriental names: She is the Hindu Shakti, she is the divine Kundalini; she is, precisely, the Word in its universal feminine aspect. In the Orient love is appreciated more, much more than merely intellective theories. The priestesses of Japan, the women of love…, there they never profane it, they consider it as something too sacred. In the world of ancient Greece, the Vestals were always respected by all males, because truly they, in themselves, were the priestesses of love.

God in His feminine aspect is the adorable Isis, the chaste Diana; She is also the Great Alaya of the Universe. God in His feminine aspect is the womb of all this creation; truly the worlds would never have arisen from the chaos, from the Great Alaya, if previously the Eternal Feminine had not existed. God-Mother, the universal womb, shines forth profoundly amid the chaos. Woman, in herself, has all the powers since she is the fruit of the Divine. Woman, in herself, must help man.

The hour has come to understand that the Eternal Feminine is the most grandiose power of this Universe. The hour has come to understand the state of transcendent and transcendental receptivity that woman possesses: that intuition, that capacity she has to perceive directly and by herself, and without so many theories, the truth. The hour has come to understand that beside the column “J” is the column “B.” The hour has come to understand that within the atom, the masculine and feminine principles, the ions and the electrons, order themselves and agitate intensively.

The Eternal Feminine, God-Mother, is the Soul of the Universe, as Plato said, the Anima Mundi crucified in planet Earth. The Sun of Midnight lives in love with woman. The Sun of Midnight, the Logos, loves woman. She is Urania-Venus, who holds the book of wisdom in her hands. She is, precisely, the Vestal who is between the two columns in the Egyptian temple. She is the wife of the Third Logos. Once these principles are understood, we, the males, must revere woman, render cult to woman, because without woman we could not attain the intimate Self-realization of the Being.

The feminine Yoni is represented by the Holy Grail, by the Vase of Hermes and of Solomon. It is from this delicious chalice that the Christ drank, in the last supper. There comes to me at these instants the memory, the reminiscence of Abraham: it is said that when he returned from the defeat of the Kings —for he fought against Sodom and Gomorrah— he encountered a great military fortress; in that place, later, came to be raised Jerusalem, the beloved city of the Prophets. Tells the legend of the centuries that Abraham paid his tithes and first fruits to Melchizedek, King of Salem. It was there that Abraham encountered the Genie of the Earth, Melchizedek.

Melchizedek, after having celebrated the Gnostic Unction —precisely with Abraham and his people—, gave to him the Holy Grail, that marvelous silver chalice from which the Christ drank, in the last supper. Such chalice vividly represents the feminine Yoni, and for that it is venerable. Through the centuries that chalice came to the Queen of Sheba. With time, that lady, bearing such precious relic, arrived in Jerusalem; she submitted King Solomon to various tests: one of them was that he had to determine, from a group of twenty-five young people, which were men and which were women.

Those young people who came with the Queen of Sheba were equally dressed, equally made up, arranged, were of similar ages, and it was difficult to define which were males and which were females. That wise King ordered the young people to wash their hands, and from the way they washed their hands he could know who were males and who were females. Thus the great King came out victorious.

He received the precious jewel from the hands of the Queen of Sheba. When the great martyr of Calvary celebrated the last supper, it is said that that relic shone upon the sacred table. From that relic he drank the wine of wisdom. The martyr of Calvary used, then, the blessed chalice in the last supper. When he was crucified, the earth trembled, and Nicodemus, that wise Senator of ancient Rome, gathered in the blessed chalice the blood that emanated from the wounds of the Adorable One. He then kept the chalice in a secret place, in his house, underground, and also hid the lance with which Longinus had wounded the side of the Lord, marvelous phallic symbol.

When the Roman police searched the house of the great Senator, in truth they did not find the chalice or the lance, and that illustrious man was locked in prison for many years. When he came out of jail, together with the chalice and the lance he went in search of the Christian gnostics in the august Rome of the Caesars, but in truth, he could not last long in that place, because Nero had initiated the persecution against our gnostic ancestors —because it was the gnostics who were thrown to the Circus of Rome, to the Circuses of the beasts; it was the gnostics who were persecuted, the gnostics of the catacombs, the gnostics who were devoured by the lions—.

The great Roman Senator, with the chalice in his right hand, and the lance, went along the shores of the Mediterranean toward Catalonia, Spain… One night, in vision, that colossus saw that an angel approached him; that divinity said to him: “That chalice has great power, because in that chalice is enclosed the blood of the Redeemer of the world; bury it there.” And he showed him the “mountain” of Catalonia, Spain, where there existed a truly marvelous temple. Nicodemus obeyed, and that blessed chalice —symbol of the feminine sexual organ— together with the phallic lance, was hidden within the marvelous temple of Montserrat, in the transcendent Castle of Montsalvat.

Thus, dear gnostic sisters who today attend, it is well to understand what the Holy Grail is; the hour has come to understand that without the blessed chalice from which the divine Rabbi of Galilee drank, it is not possible for males to attain absolute Christification.

The hour has come to understand that in every Temple of the Adepts of the Universal Fraternity of the Inner Light, the Holy Grail always shines. It would be inconceivable that in the Temple of some Adept of the Great Light, the Holy Grail should be missing. It is in the Holy Grail where is the Manna of the desert, with which the Israelites were nourished for forty years. In the Ark of the Covenant, within the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Temple of Solomon, was always enclosed the Gomor or Sacred Vessel, containing precisely the Manna of the desert.

There was not lacking either, within the Ark of the Covenant, the Rod of Aaron and the Tablets of the Law… The Elohim that guarded that precious Ark touched themselves with their wings and were found, precisely, in that state of man and woman during the sacred copulation. When the soldiers of Nebuchadnezzar, King, invaded the Sanctum Sanctorum, horrified they said:

“Is this your God whom you so adored, the Jehovah of the Armies?” Obviously, those people did not understand what the Great Arcanum is.

So then, in the name of truth I shall say, that the Eternal Feminine also shines within the Sanctum Sanctorum, shines in all that is created, shines in all that is, has been and will be…

With great joy I am inaugurating today, precisely, this Feminine Gnostic Congress; with great joy I begin the august works of these adorable ladies.

Inverential Peace.

The Universal Feminine Principle..., the Eternal Feminine, shines among the most distant stars that nest in the heart of every woman who has shone with the dissolution of the “Ego” and Christification.

Chapter Two: SECOND CONFERENCE TO WOMAN

IMPARTED IN OCTOBER OF 1976, IN THE CITY OF GUADALAJARA, JALISCO, MEXICO, ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF GNOSTIC LADIES, AN ACTIVITY HELD DURING THE COURSE OF THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF GNOSTIC ANTHROPOLOGY.

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

Sisters, we shall begin our talk this afternoon. I beg all to give the maximum attention.

I want to tell you in emphatic form, that the cycles of masculine or feminine activity are governed by the planet Uranus; this means that Uranus with its two poles determines the epochs of triumphal masculine activity and the epochs of triumphal feminine activity. When the masculine pole of Uranus points toward the Sun, the masculine sex triumphs in the world Earth; those are the epochs of piracy, the epochs of the Napoleon Bonapartes, etc., etc., etc…, also the epoch of the independence struggles of countries.

When the feminine negative pole of Uranus points toward the Sun, the energy that flows from Uranus then gives the triumph to woman: the feminine sex stands out, triumphs, ascends to the top of the ladder, commands. Let us remember the epoch of the Amazons; then they had an epoch of splendor; temples to the Goddess Moon were raised everywhere; sovereign countries governed by the feminine sex; the Empire of the Amazons extended through a great part of Europe and the Middle East, and even Asia.

Those who exercised the priesthood, those who exercised government, those who formed part of the armed forces were women. That they built a powerful civilization, no one can deny it; it was certain and absolutely true. Undoubtedly, there was something of cruelty too: the male children were incapacitated in some way so that they could not triumph; they were either wounded in an arm, or wounded in a leg; in short, some damage was done to the body so that they could not later exercise dominion. That was cruel, we cannot deny it, but those are facts that have belonged to history and that have already passed.

In war, the Amazons distinguished themselves extraordinarily; let us remember the Amazon Camilla, of whom no less than Virgil, the Poet of Mantua, gives testimony. Obviously, Virgil, the great Master of Dante Alighieri, speaks marvels about the Amazon Camilla; in war she was extraordinary; she can be called one of the best generals of the epoch, very similar in the time to any other great warrior of the masculine sex.

In science, the Amazons stood out triumphantly; their empire was powerful; it extended from West to East; if later that empire declined, if it decayed, it was due precisely to the sexual aspect. A certain group of Amazons reached Greece, and though they isolated themselves for a time, it is not amiss to say that they united sexually to various Greek youths and from then on changed in their manners; those Amazons, already changed, influenced the rest of the Amazons who had established the empire —the “Empire of the Amazons”—, and little by little, they were losing power; the masculine sex stood out completely; its epoch had passed.

Forty-two years are of masculine activity and forty-two of feminine activity. At these moments, for example, in which we find ourselves, the feminine sex is dominating; it is in its cycle of dominion, of command; later, when this cycle of forty-two years is completed, a new epoch of dominion of the masculine sex will return. Now the weight of command falls to the feminine sex; this we cannot deny; it is undoubted. Truly, woman commands, imposes herself in science, imposes herself in the world of commerce, imposes herself in government, imposes herself in religion, imposes herself in the home, imposes herself everywhere; she is in her epoch…

Uranus directly governs the sexual glands; in woman it governs the activity of the ovaries. So that there are forty-two years of masculine dominion and forty-two of feminine dominion. Woman, obviously, can take advantage of this epoch to transform herself if she so wishes. In these times one struggles for the emancipation of woman; I consider, in reality, that woman has by herself the scepter of power in this time, since she is found within the activity of the feminine cycle of Uranus.

Considering these questions, it seems to me that the feminine sex has the right to dignification and transformation, that the feminine sex must take advantage of the current moment in which Uranus is helping her, take the maximum advantage of the vibration of the planet Uranus. Woman has the right to pass to a higher level of the Being and this is possible by knowing how to love: “Love is law, but conscious love.” “Love is the summum of wisdom.” Thus said Hermes Trismegistus in his Emerald Tablet —the Thrice-great God Ibis of Toth—. Love is the foundation of all that is, has been and will be. Woman through love not only can transform herself, but also can transform others.

In these times it is astonishing to know that some nations are already thinking of sending precisely feminine committees to fight for universal peace. I understand that the U.N. is considering the problem of peace very difficult, and seriously thinks of promoting, let us say, a kind of pro-peace propaganda by means of feminine committees. I simply believe that woman at these moments displaces man, that she has dominion, complete command; if to this is added that the masculine sex is very degenerated currently, then it is woman who has to regenerate man.

The state of masculine degeneration is undeniable, irrefutable, irrebuttable; it falls to woman to give her hand to man, to raise him up. If man has currently lost his power it is due simply to his degeneration; woman has, then, at these moments, an ineluctable duty, which is to help regenerate man and to fight for universal peace.

One of the most disturbing problems of the epoch is the sexual problem; there is no doubt that sexology, in itself, is fundamental for any civilization. The masculine sex, I repeat, is found in an involutionary, decadent state; he has abused sex and that has made him lose dominion over the Earth, over the Universe. The masculine sex marches in decadent form.

When one studies the creative energy, the sexual energy in the light of a Sigmund Freud, for example, the author of psychoanalysis, or of a Jung, or of an Adler, or in the light of the Sanskrit Tantras of Tibetans or Hindus, or possibly of the Chinese Yellow School, one can discover with great astonishment that through the creative energy the transformation of the human being is possible. Woman has perfect dominion over the organic biology of the male, for that reason she can regenerate him.

What woman has to do is to know a little more the mysteries of sex. Before, these mysteries were considered taboo or sin, cause for shame or concealment; now, in cultured countries, sex is studied in the light of science. Freud set the example with his psychoanalysis; Adler, Jung and other followers, have demonstrated to the world the reality of the Freudian theories.

I consider, then, vital, to touch upon that thorny point, that delicate matter related to transcendental sexology, which is the only thing that can transform woman and the world. Obviously, creative energy flows in all that is, in all that has been and in all that will be. The creative energy permits the plants to reproduce themselves through their styles and pistils that vibrate and palpitate in the chalice of the flower; the creative energy permits the birds to reproduce, to form their fruits; the creative energy permits all the living species of the immense sea, the always incessant reproduction.

It is an energy like electricity, like magnetism, like the force of gravity, etc., an energy that we must learn to manipulate wisely; it is a swift, instantaneous energy, faster than the mind, much faster than the emotions or any other organic movement.

Many times it must have happened to you, for example, to find yourself with a male, and then instantaneously, without knowing why, instinctively, you sympathize or antipathize with such man: If he can serve as complement for you, if he could merit your sympathy; but if he is not the perfect complement, in fact, immediately, he awakens no interest in you. What is astonishing is to see the speed with which a woman can recognize a man and know if he can serve as complement for her life or not; it is a question of seconds, of thousandths of a second, which demonstrates that the sexual sense is too fast, faster than the force of the mind or than the motor activities of the organism.

In seconds, a woman can recognize whether a man can, or cannot, serve as complement for her life. Well, this is due to the fact that the creative energy flows and goes from one neuron to another; the electro-sexual waves are very swift; the sexual center of a woman instinctively captures the reality of any man; that is obvious.

In life one finds things that astonish: Many times, and this time I speak of males, suddenly, even having a wife, they do not feel in plenitude, they do not feel integral, they do not feel unitotal with her; they feel that something is lacking, and it usually happens in these cases that in any hall, or temple, or street, the husband encounters this or that woman who appeals to him immediately… Unquestionably, he fails by committing adultery, but at bottom what happens is that all the parts of his own Being need complementation. Possibly in the new woman they find something they did not have before, something that helps them complement themselves… These are mysteries related to sex and that are well worth knowing.

The creative energy is established in every organic machine, and our body is a machine… The ovaries, in woman, are by themselves prodigious, marvelous. A pair of nervous cords always rises from the ovaries up to the brain; that pair of cords coils on the spinal column, forming the Holy Eight or the Caduceus of Mercury. Through that pair of fine nervous cords —which are not completely physical, since in part we could say: They are tetradimensional— the sexual energy properly so called ascends, like very subtle electric force, up to the brain.

This force, by itself, reaches the organism through various processes. Originally, it comes from the Third Logos, from the Mahachoan. Undoubtedly, to speak this time in Christian terms, I could tell you that such energy is divine, and that the Third Logos, in itself, is what we denominate in pure Christianity: the “Holy Spirit.”

The force of the Holy Spirit is prodigious in every sense. The entire Universe could not exist without that magnificent force. The seeds would not manage to germinate; the animals, without that force, would not reproduce; the trees would not give their fruit. The entire Universe could not exist!

So that, the force of the Holy Spirit, the prodigious energy of the Third Logos, is something worthy of being analyzed. There are schools that have dedicated themselves to such analysis. Those schools exist throughout the East, and very especially within the Tantric Buddhism of Tibet. Learning to handle that electro-sexual potential is indispensable when one truly wants to attain a transformation. Without the creative energy it would not be possible for a pair of gametes, masculine and feminine —that is, an ovum and a spermatozoon—, to integrate to originate the fetal conception.

We know well what the function of menstruation in the feminine sex is. Undoubtedly, the latter is provoked because a mature ovum detaches from the ovary. The wound that remains in that place from which the ovum detached, bleeds. That is the process of menstruation. Undoubtedly, in that place where it bleeds there also exists that which in medicine is called the “corpus luteum,” which in the long run serves to avoid a continuous bleeding. The interesting thing is to see how that ovum descends afterward to the uterus and awaits there the moment of being fertilized. When that ovum is found deposited in its corresponding region, the woman truly feels, in let us say intensive form, the sexual impulse.

Such impulse has a mechanics related to the economy of Nature, and it is that the ovum asks, cries out, desires a spermatozoon, so that one more creation may exist, necessary for the economic purposes of the planet Earth. In that state there is anxiety on the part of the feminine sex for the masculine. That anxiety has no other cause than the ovum that desires, as soon as possible, the union with a spermatozoon.

Observe something very interesting: of six or seven million spermatozoa that escape during copulation, only one fortunate spermatozoon manages to reach the feminine gamete, loses its tail, penetrates completely within the gamete and the process of gestation begins. Of so many millions of spermatozoa only one manages to penetrate the ovum. Who did that mathematical operation? Furthermore, take into account that the spermatozoon carries within itself 24 chromosomes, and that the ovum carries another 24.

Then, behold 48 chromosomes forming the germinal cell, fundamental basic cell, from which a new human organism comes. But, why does the spermatozoon, and only one, manage to enter the ovum? Who directs that spermatozoon? There is an intelligent principle that directs it… What might it be? Why has it been selected? Undoubtedly, that intelligent principle is none other than the creative energy of the Third Logos, the sexual energy. Then, we find in sexual energy, intelligence. This is formidable! Thus begins the process of gestation of nine months. Obviously, woman has been chosen for the holy predestination: That of being mother!

To be a mother is truly a priesthood of Nature, a divine, ineffable priesthood. A mother deserves the entire veneration of all the beings that populate the Universe. In the Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, cult is rendered to the women who die in childbirth. Unquestionably, they are true martyrs. We have been told, then, in Nahuatl, that they go, not to the Mictlan as some suppose, but to the Tlalocan, that is, the Paradise of Tlaloc. Although you may think that these are doctrines of our ancestors and that today we are very “Christian” and can no longer go back, the crude reality of the facts is that such affirmation of the Nahua Adepts, or Zapotec, or Toltec, rests on very serious bases.

With what right would we dare, for example, to refute the doctrine of our Aztec ancestors, if we ourselves come from them? Or do we perhaps believe that the Spaniards were wiser than our ancestors of Anahuac? Well we know that no; rather, they came to destroy a culture: they were burning in the public square all the ancient codices and deprived the world of rich esoteric treasures. Fortunately, a few codices were saved and have allowed the great Mexican historians, the great anthropologists, to reconstruct part of the ancient history.

The Tlalocan, the Paradise, is a reality. It has been said that the women who die in childbirth, and so it was affirmed in emphatic form in past times, entered the paradise of Tlaloc… They deserved it because they had given their life for Nature. They had died in the fulfillment of that great sacrifice, which is to be mothers; they had fulfilled their mission. Woman has been born for that holy predestination. How great is the bliss that the mother feels who carries her child in her arms, who nourishes him with her breasts, who offers him her love. She, at that moment, is performing the role that the Great Mother Nature performs with all her children. She is a true priestess who deserves all respect and great veneration.

It is through that creative energy that flows and palpitates in all Nature, that flows through the trees, that manifests through the creative organs of fish and amphibians, and quadrupeds, and birds that fly through infinite space, that we can transform ourselves radically.

If woman learns to handle that prodigious energy, she can change the Level of the Being, become something distinct, something different. Woman, above all, needs to know the mysteries of sex. Gone are the times when sex was considered as a sin. Gone are the times when sex was taboo. Only by knowing the mysteries of sex, learning to handle the creative energy, only thus shall woman be able to transform herself and transform the world.

In this meeting, we shall study deeply and profoundly the question related precisely to the maximum sexual problem of the epoch. There is no doubt that in the chemical or metaphysical copulation, to speak in a language that does not scandalize any of the sisters here present, lies the secret of human transformation. When woman learns to transmute her creative energies, in fact she begins a process of intimate transformation, which in fact places her in a higher Level of the Being.

Unfortunately, currently, man has not only degenerated, but has also initiated degenerative processes in the feminine sex: He has placed woman on the road of fornication and even of prostitution; reasons more than sufficient for woman to learn today to protect herself from man; reasons more than sufficient for woman to study the mysteries of sex, since thus and only thus will she be able, not only to transform herself, but also to transform man.

The chemical or metaphysical copulation, unquestionably, is related to the great universal copulation. Well we know that the Eternal Masculine makes the Eternal Feminine fecund so that life may arise throughout the Universe; this is undoubted. These two principles belong to the divine. With just reason Simon the Magician said: “There exist two scions of all seriousness. The one comes from above, from Uranus, and is masculine. The other ascends and is feminine. In the union of these two scions lies the key of all power.”

Observe the sign of the Holy Cross: two crossed sticks. The one is vertical, and represents the masculine principle; the other is horizontal, and represents the feminine sex. In the crossing of both lies the key of redemption. In an ancient Greek School of Mysteries a secret, physiological, mystical act is mentioned that can transform the world and humanity. Not to scandalize too much, I shall tell you the key in Latin: “Inmiscio membrum virilis in vaginam feminae sine ejaculatio seminis.”

In any case, in the insertion of the vertical phallus within the formal cteis lies the key of all power. Unfortunately, both men and women, the only thing they have done up to the present date is take advantage of the crossing of those two scions for animal reproduction. Just as woman is capable of placing a child upon the carpet of existence, of saying to him: “Be!” and he is. Just as woman is capable of forming a Napoleon within her womb, or a Jesus of Nazareth, or a Hermes Trismegistus, to then say to him: “Exist!” and he exists; and he comes to exist in the light of the Sun, so also woman can be capable of an extraordinary self-creation: she can create herself, she can transform herself into something distinct, different, based precisely on the chemical or metaphysical copulation. The interesting thing would be that she understand the process of the universal energies…

Unquestionably, when man and woman, Adam-Eve, are loving each other, when they are found united in the chemical or metaphysical copulation —at moments when the vertical phallus crosses with the formal cteis— there are prodigious, universal, cosmic forces, that envelop the couple with a very brilliant, luminous, extraordinary light. Those prodigious forces that were capable of creating the world, of making it arise from the chaos, surround the couple, envelop it. In such moments man and woman united form the perfect androgyne: The Elohim; a sovereign creature.

Obviously, man and woman united are a single being who has power over life and over death, who can make a new creature arise from the chaos. In such moments, if the marvelous science of the Divine Logos were known, prodigies would be realized. In such moments we can retain that extraordinary force to purify ourselves, to transform ourselves, to develop in us other faculties of the Being, to unfold in us prodigies that we do not even remotely suspect, to become true angels, into ineffable beings…

Woman has the key of science, but she must take advantage of it and open the Ark where the treasure of ancient wisdom is. Unfortunately, both woman and man lose the divine forces when they commit the unpardonable error of reaching that which is called “orgasm” or “spasm,” in high physiology, biology and organic pathology. If woman, at those instants, were to teach man the need to be continent; if instead of reaching the final consummation of animal passion, they had the courage to restrain the animal impulse to avoid what in organic physiology or high pathology or biology is called “orgasm” or “spasm,” they would retain that mystical force of the Third Logos, the Mahachoan, the Hindustani Shiva.

With such subtle forces she could make of herself something different; she would become victorious; she would pass to an extraordinary Level of the Being; she would never again have misery or pain; there would be no sufferings for her; brand new faculties would surface in her whole organism; she would be completely distinct. A woman thus, transformed by her own creative energies, could transform man and transform the world, because woman has a unique power: to form creatures within her own womb.

Let us see those great men who have stood out in history: A Krishna in Hindustan, a Buddha, a Hermes Trismegistus, a Jesus of Nazareth, a Francis of Assisi, or an Anthony of Padua, etc., etc., etc. Where were they formed? In the air perhaps? Who gave them that figure? Men so grandiose who have arisen in all epochs…, where did they come from? Those who liberated nations: Morelos in our Country, or a Hidalgo; a Napoleon in France… —Well, although he did not liberate nations, excuse me, rather he enslaved them, but in any case he was a great military man—; a Bolivar, there in the countries of South America, where did they come from?

What was their origin? Very masculine, very intelligent, very brilliant, but they came from a feminine womb. It was woman who formed them in her womb, who gave them life, who placed them upon the carpet of existence. The very Superman of a Nietzsche cannot come from any other place than from the womb of woman. For that reason wise women —it is said— addressed Jesus of Nazareth and said to him: “Blessed is the womb that formed you and the breasts that nourished you.”

So then, we males do not have much to be proud of, because however much wisdom we may have, much erudition or intellectual capacity we may have acquired, a woman formed us in her womb, gave us life and placed us upon the carpet of existence.

So then, let us see that woman can transform the world if she so wishes. She has in her hands the key of power; even the very masculine biology can be controlled by woman, and in fact, woman controls the biological activities of man; she has that power, an extraordinary, formidable power. Then, the only thing she has to do is retain that prodigious creative energy of the Third Logos, not let it escape, not allow it to fuse among the universal currents; for that reason the married woman, in the chemical or metaphysical copulation, must assume an edifying and essentially dignifying attitude.

Obviously, the priesthood of love comes from the most archaic times of the Earth. Let us remember in Greece the priestesses of love, the Etairas; they were sacred in the most complete sense of the word, since they knew how to administer that which is called love and males had to resort to them. Let us remember there, in the lands of Japan, the Nipponese priestesses; they administered that which is called love. Unfortunately, the people of the modern epoch have lost, let us say, the sense of true love. Modern women must return to ancient wisdom; begin by educating man. Sex is sacred one hundred percent; they must teach man veneration, love and respect for sex. If woman thus acts, she could transform the world in definitive form.

The whole secret consists in retaining that marvelous energy that flows in the flower, in the bird, in the fish and in man; not letting it escape. I repeat: That is possible if woman always avoided the consummation of the sexual act; if she learned from the beginning to avoid the physiological or biological spasm or orgasm, as it is called in medicine and in biology. Thus she would transform herself, thus she would purify herself, thus she would originate in herself brand-new senses of ultrasensory perception that would give her access to the unknown dimension; thus woman would begin to acquire a new intelligence that would allow her to orient her children wisely.

You must not forget that woman must also be, in addition to mother, educator of her own children; she is called to educate her children. I believe, I think, it is my concept, that the mother is called to give the child the “first education.” In no way would it seem correct to me that the Kindergarten be the one called to give the first notions of culture to the creature that has been born; I think that the mother is the one called to that: to finish forming the fruit of her bowels. Later such fruit could go to the Higher Schools of Humanities, then to the University; but his basic education must begin in the home. The mother is the angel of the home, the teacher of the home, called to educate her children.

Today, all that has been lost. In ancient times, in Atlantis and Lemuria, mothers educated their children within the home; they formed them. In these decadent times in which we find ourselves, due to the degeneration of man, woman has lost today many of her beautiful qualities. Man who has created a false civilization, a mechanistic, absurd life, has also committed the crime of taking woman out of her home. Now woman, to be able to survive in this absurd chaos of the 20th century, has had no other remedy than to displace man in the office, in industry, in banking, in commerce, in workshops, in science, etc…

The ultramodern male is so degenerated that he is no longer capable of sustaining even his own home. Reasons more than sufficient that have obliged woman to have to launch herself into the struggle. Thus we see how in the United States, women are in mechanical workshops, in gas stations, in aviation, in the army, etc.

A race not degenerated, a let us say progressive race, is different. In a progressive race, woman is the angel of the home, the Priestess of her children; fundamental basis on which rested in ancient times, not patriarchy, but matriarchy. Now, woman has to return to her home. This would not be possible, and is not possible, while man is not regenerated, since he is no longer capable of maintaining woman within his home.

The day will come, then, when a new civilization will be born in the world. When that occurs, woman will be the priestess of her home again, and the regenerated man will have to go to the field, to the mountain, to till the earth with the sweat of his brow to give food to his wife and his children, as the Sacred Scriptures command. Today it is painful to say it, but so great is the degeneration of this epoch that many women have to work to maintain their very own husband.

Seeing all these things, in dealing with such important matters and of fine exposition, I see the urgent and undeferrable need to teach woman the mysteries of sex. Above all, she must still free herself from many absurd bonds; she must focus the studies of sex from a new angle; not continue considering sexology as taboo or sin, shame or concealment, etc.

If woman has to regenerate man, she must directly confront the mysteries of sex; she must teach man such mysteries. Unfortunately, the poor intellectual animal, mistakenly called “man,” does not even know how to respect his wife; he commits adultery like an animal; he fornicates incessantly; he wastes the money he has for his home in the tavern, in gambling houses, etc.

Unquestionably, the crude reality of the facts is such, that woman is called to assume a new role. She needs to transform herself through the creative energy and teach man the path of regeneration; but this would not be possible if she did not have a higher electric or electro-sexual potential that allowed her to perform such magnificent labor. As long as woman continues reaching the physiological spasm —or physiological orgasm— through the chemical or metaphysical copulation, she will not have the electric potency to be able to convince man. When it is a matter of convincing another, of regenerating him, of indicating to him the path of salvation, one needs to have some authority, and it is not possible to have any authority while woman discharges herself electrically.

So then, she, woman, needs to save her own creative energies; only thus will she be able to increase her electric potential, so as to have sufficient force or authority that will allow her to transform man, take him out of the taverns, teach him the path of responsibility, indicate to him the path of regeneration.

Here gathered with these ladies who listen to me, I want to tell you, in emphatic form, that in this our School of Gnostic Esoteric Studies, we labor for human regeneration; all ladies are called to our studies; they are invited with the purpose of working for a better world. It is well worth reconsidering not only the biological matters, but the psychic ones as well, related to woman, man and the home. Woman must become a little more mature from the psychological point of view. Many ladies, for example, hasten to marry: later they fail. Woman must know which is the man she is going to choose, since this is basic for the rest of her existence…

When one day, no matter which, I, as a male, arrived at a bank —I needed, then, to cash some checks—, the very solicitous teller attended me, but with great pain I saw how she looked at me from top to bottom, so attentively, studying my mere physical appearances. I returned a second time and found the same repetition. A third…, the same repetition and a strange coquetry… But, what was she looking at in me? Perhaps my psychological states?

The animic or spiritual part? Or what? Nothing of the sort… With that mere physical coquetry, trying to see the appearances of a face, of a masculine human body with the purpose of choosing him later as possible husband or, at the very least, suitor. This is absurd in one hundred percent! I could not but feel strange pain, not for myself —because my person is worth nothing—, but for that lady in question and for many ladies, for example, who aspire to have a husband: they worry about seeing his face, the size of his body; tall or short, fat or thin; if he is handsome, if he is good-looking; or simply, if he is ugly and horrible.

But nothing, absolutely nothing interests them about the psychological question. It seems to me that this is as absurd as looking at a piece of furniture; whether it is pretty or ugly, whether it serves for the kitchen or for the living room…

Marriage is the greatest thing there is in life. I am going to tell you that there are three important moments in life, three extraordinary events: First, none other than birth; second, marriage; third, death. There are the three most extraordinary events. Woman must be careful about choosing a man by mere appearance or by the desire to marry so as not to remain single, because that is absurd. For a woman to want to make a man —let us say— her ideal, without truly feeling it psychologically, is something incongruous.

Single ladies turn very especially to artifice, to form; whether for the economic splendor of this or that male, whether to ingratiate themselves with him in some way, to make themselves likable before him, to know his various aspects to prepare themselves artificially to his way of being or living, and sooner or later they fail.

That is not the path of matrimonial happiness. In true love there is absolute spontaneity; there exist no artifices of any kind. One recognizes in woman, immediately, the creative being; one needs no superfluous words, nor struggles to accommodate to her way of thinking or feeling. In true love, woman knows whether the man belongs to her or not, whether he is hers or not. But when a woman looks at this or that man, when she pursues him in some way, she knows whether there is a trait in him that does not accord with her naturalness, with her personality, with her psyche or particular psychological background.

It is clear that if a woman believes she loves a man and feels that there is something that does not belong to her, something like a characteristic trait that in no way accommodates her feeling, such man does not belong to her. A union of such class goes to failure.

In no way can the problem of marriage be focused in a mistaken manner, because the result is called “pain.” When one forgets that marriage is one of the three most important factors of life, one commits unpardonable errors. So that, you must think much about this problem of choosing a husband. It is indispensable to always know how to wait. That creative energy of the Third Logos, which lives and palpitates in all that is created, in all that exists, brings to each woman her male, the one who belongs to her by Law. But if single ladies persist in marrying just to marry, they will then fill themselves with pain…

Unfortunately, both woman and man lose the divine forces when they commit the unpardonable error of reaching that which is called “orgasm” or “spasm,” in high physiology, biology and organic pathology.

Chapter Three: THE ETERNAL FEMININE AND ITS RELATION WITH THE PARTICULAR JESHUA

Third Conference

(Conference that has not been able to be revised since the original recording is not possessed.)

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

Above all, it becomes necessary to emphasize a little upon the Eternal Feminine and to discourse somewhat upon our Lord the Christ. I long that all give attention.

Certainly, God-Mother is the foundation of this great Creation. We must identify ourselves more and more with the Eternal Feminine; we must see in every woman the living representation of that eternal feminine. Obviously woman is born for a Holy Predestination, which is to be a mother. Even a little girl is the representation of the Eternal Feminine; any maiden is a mother in potency.

If we recall the one who rocked us in the cradle and who nourished us with her heavy breasts when we were children, we find a vivid poem very intimate, profound, natural, of an extraordinary simplicity, of a greatness that always passes unnoticed by all those “humanoids” who have the consciousness asleep. I want all of you to become conscious of what that vivid verse is, that ineffable melody of the Eternal Feminine principle. Most compassionate is the Great Mother when she offers us that verse without our deserving it, after we have been perverse, after we have crawled along the Ground of the Earth, from life to life.

We die and then we return to be rocked in a cradle without deserving it, to be loved by someone who sees in us only a hope, to be conducted by that one who is all love. It seems paradoxical, it would have no explanation, if the All-Merciful and Eternal Common Cosmic Father did not exist: Aelohim —as the ancients said—.

If we go back a little more in the course of the years, we manage, through awakening, to remember the dear mother we had in past existence. We see ourselves there again in a delight; there come to our ears the lullabies of the one who has placed hope in us; we see ourselves taking the first steps carried in her arms, and if we continue with the retrospective exercise we remember, not the past existence, but the one before; we shall find ourselves once more with one of those poems, with a lullaby in childhood, in a cradle. Thus, continuing in retrospective form backward, from century to century, from age to age, we can always feel the same songs, the same lullaby, the Eternal Feminine always loving us, carrying us in her arms, nourishing us with her breasts, cradling us.

All those dear mothers we have had through the innumerable births, it seems as if they had definitively been lost to us in time, but in truth, all of them are the same expression of the Great Cosmic Mother. In the eyes of our Devi Kundalini Shakti, our particular, individual Cosmic Mother, we see the brilliance of all the eyes of the innumerable dear mothers we had in the past. In her, our Divine Mother Kundalini, in her, our particular Isis, are represented our dear mothers who have loved us through the innumerable centuries. For that reason we must truly love our Cosmic Mother, living representation of the Eternal Feminine.

All those who have looked after us through the course of history, all those who rocked us, all those who nourished us, at bottom are one and unique: She, Isis, “whose veil no mortal has lifted”… Neith, the blessed Mother Goddess of the World.

If we think of that Eternal Feminine —God-Mother—, we see that our particular Devi Kundalini is a ray of that blessed Mother Goddess of the World. So then, the Eternal Feminine —who has looked after us through so many centuries, who has rocked us in so many cradles—, is she, our Divine Mother, the one who has looked after us. In her are personified all the dear mothers of the world, all those whom we have had through the various ages; fortunately we have not lost them; they have remained in our Divine Mother.

If people had the consciousness awakened, they would know how to better value that being who is the mother, but people have the consciousness asleep and for that reason they are incapable of really valuing that creature who is the mother. It is necessary, then, to become more and more conscious of what the Eternal Feminine is. That said, we do not deserve what was given to us; that after having been rascals, perverse, a cradle should be given to us and a sweet little mother who rocks us in her arms. It seems paradoxical, it seems —I repeat, I say again— that if it were not for the mercy of That which has no name, it would seem as inexplicable.

Unfortunately, we grow; the “Ego” manifests itself. In the first years it is the Essence that manifests in the creature, for that reason the child is so beautiful; as we are growing, the personality develops and the “Ego” is slowly expressing itself, until finally, definitively it enters into action. Then we become different: The beautiful thoughts, those we had in the cradle, are forgotten, are lost; that charm of our first steps is relegated to oblivion, and the noble intentions we made when we were children are trampled, and of them not even memories remain.

Around the Essence the “Ego” fortifies itself more; the personality is reinforced, comes with precision, acquires certain modalities, prejudices, anxieties, etc., and obviously the Essence is shelved there in the deepest depths of the psyche, relegated to the most complete oblivion. After all, the personality with all its prejudices… After all, the “Ego,” manifesting itself through the mind, replaces that Essence where those noble intentions are, those intentions we had when we were small.

We do not want to realize that we were children; we are forgetting it. Jesus, the great Kabir, said: “Until you become like children you will not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” There is something that prevents us from being children, and it is that “Ego” we have, a bundle of memories, of passions, of fears, hatreds, resentments, lusts, etc. If we want true happiness —more and more—, there is no other remedy than to remember those good intentions we made when we were children.

Before the “Ego” had the opportunity of having manifested, before the personality had been formed, when we were still taking our first steps, we made to ourselves wholesome intentions, certain resolutions that later were forgotten. They were forgotten when the personality was definitively formed; they were forgotten when the “Ego” entered into action; then we became other and felt satisfaction in having become other. We cast into oblivion the simplicity of innocence and, dazzled and deceived, dazzled and hallucinated, we have grown.

This condition we have as complicated and difficult adults, is it superior to the innocence we had? It becomes necessary, my dear brothers, to make ourselves righteous, to understand the necessity of returning to the original starting point, to childhood; in the mind, in the heart. There is only one path: to appeal to our Divine Mother Kundalini, to know how to really love our Divine Mother Kundalini, to understand her…

And in what form could we approach our Divine Mother? Above all, dear brothers, by learning to love our earthly mother as a starting point, since she is the living manifestation of the Eternal Feminine. By learning to love all the dear mothers of the world… and as for us, the males, by learning to see in every woman a mother, the living representation of the Eternal Feminine. If we see a woman and the first thing that comes to our mind is lust, morbid thoughts, then we are insulting the Eternal Feminine; we are trampling our Divine Mother; we are vexing the one who is all love. There is a Spanish saying that says: “Deeds are love, and not good reasons.”

What does it serve that we love our mother if we do not demonstrate it with deeds? What does it serve that we say we love the Eternal Feminine —this or that creature—, if the first thing that comes to our mind are thoughts of morbidity and lust? Where is the love for the Eternal Feminine, for the Divine Mother? Where is it, insulting her in that way, trampling her? Reflect my dear brothers, let us reflect, let us make ourselves worthy if we want to truly march —really— with Devi Kundalini Shakti; then our hearts, inflamed by love, will approach her, and she you.

No one could eliminate the inhuman elements that he carries within without her help. Thus, she eliminates from us all those filths that we carry, all those abominable aspects that altogether constitute the “Ego,” the “myself,” the “self-same.”

You thought that this epoch is more beautiful than your childhood and you were mistaken, because until you reconquer the lost childhood in mind and heart, you will not in any way be able to attain the final liberation. One of the tests through which every beginner passes on this path is that of “Fire.” When one has come out victorious in such test, obviously one has to enter the Hall of Children, thus is called a very special Temple where one is always received on condition of having triumphed. Then the Adepts of the White Fraternity, the members of the College of Initiates of the White Brotherhood —all in the figure of children—, welcome us. When we greet them: “May Peace be with you: Inverential Peace!”; the response is: “And with your Spirit also.”

Why do they have to welcome us in the form of children when we come out victorious from the Test of Fire? Obvious, only with fire can we reconquer innocence. For that reason it is undoubted to work with the Sacred Fire, with that Holy Flame of Love. Know how to love! Besides Fire, it is not amiss to remember the Christ Jesus on his cross; at the foot of it is the Divine Mother; she could not be lacking. Impossible! And on the cross the INRI, Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram: “Fire Renews Nature Incessantly”; so it is. Now we need to find the great Kabir within us.

When one reads the Epistles of Paul the Apostle, with surprise one can verify by oneself that he rarely mentions Jesus the Great Kabir, or the historical Christ; he always alludes to an Inner Christ. Obviously, Jesus comes from the Hebrew word Jeshua, which means Savior. It is the Savior whom we seek within ourselves. He always goes in the arms of his mother; He is the Child Horus (Aurus), among the Egyptians, in the arms of Isis. It is urgent to know, brothers, that this Jeshua comes in the arms of our particular Mother Kundalini. The Cosmic Christos could in no way express itself through us if it did not become Jesus.

Truly the Logos exists. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit form a unique whole that was called, among the Egyptians, Osiris. Above all, also is Isis, the Divine Mother, the wife. She and He unite as result of their love. She conceives by work and grace of the Holy Spirit —that is, by work and grace of her Spouse— in her immaculate and virginal womb the Christos; the Second Logos descends into her womb. As is said in the Divine Comedy: “The son of his daughter”; the Son of the Divine Mother Kundalini.

She carries him in her arms, for that reason it is that she, Isis, always carries Horus in her arms; and Mary, Jesus. But the Divine Mother carries our Intimate Jesus in her arms; when we, having loved much our Mother, make ourselves worthy, worthy we are then, deserving, of becoming the house of Him, of the Lord.

It is said that He is born in a stable at midnight, where the animals are. Yes!, the animals of desire. That stable is our own body; there He is born; afterward the Jeshua must grow and develop. Our individual intimate Savior must suffer in himself all the temptations and conquer them. He must reduce the Powers of Darkness in himself; He must conquer the tenebrous ones in himself. He must live as man among men and have flesh and bone; it is clear, our flesh. He must be a man among the beings that populate the face of the Earth and conquer along his way. For that reason He is our Savior.

Our psychological process becomes his process, which He must order and transform; his preoccupations, his desires, which He must disintegrate. For some reason He has been called the Holy Firm, because He cannot be conquered; and at last He triumphs: Then He clothes himself with glory. That is, the Sacred Fire, personified in Jeshua —our Jeshua; not the external Jeshua, but ours— is worthy of all praise, glory, lordship and majesty.

He loves his Mother, and his Mother loves Him. Only through his Mother does He manage to be born in our inner stable —which we carry— to become our Savior. If we do not love the Mother of Jeshua, neither do we love the Son. How could the Son come to us if we do not love his Mother? He who wants to love her must demonstrate it in flesh and bone, by loving the one who gave us life, and seeing in every woman her, the one who gave us life. So then, brothers, it becomes necessary to understand this great mystery of the Christ and the Divine Mother.

It becomes necessary to become simple, tolerant and modest. Only thus, my dear brothers, shall we march along the true path. I want you to reflect on what we are speaking this night. I want you to return to the original starting point, that you remember the first love.

Christification. Whoever truly wants to be saved must know how to love. How could one really love woman, if when we look at her erotic thoughts and lust come to our mind? That is to insult her, to offend her. It could be objected to me saying that there exist an infinity of women, cabaret women, etc., etc. Are we perhaps judges, to judge the Eternal Feminine? With what right shall we do it? Who has made us judges of the Eternal Feminine? Or do we believe ourselves Saints? Or have we already recovered innocence?

We must not judge; and women themselves must see in every woman a mother, and mothers themselves must love their mother, and women themselves must adore their Divine Mother Kundalini if they want to make themselves deserving of receiving one day the Holy Firm.

There is a holy prayer that says: “Source of divine rejoicings, turmoils and sufferings, direct your actions toward us. Holy Affirming, Holy Denying, Holy Reconciling; transubstantiate in me, for my Being. Holy God, Holy Firm, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us.”

It is a precious canticle to the three great Primary Forces of the Universe. Those three constitute, in themselves, the Father, Osiris, who upon unfolding becomes Neith, and from the union of him and Her results our particular Jeshua, our intimate Jesus Christ —proper and very proper to us—. That one who must enter into us, into our body, to save us.

Very special in this prayer is the matter of: “Holy God, Holy Firm, Holy Immortal,” because the Ancient of the Centuries of the Kabbalah is the Holy God. Holy Firm is Jeshua, our particular intimate Jeshua, because reincorporating in us he takes charge of all our psychological processes to conquer them in himself; of all our passions to transmute them in himself, and to endure in flesh and bone all the temptations that come to us, to conquer them in himself. That can only be done by the Holy Firm.

Interesting also is the matter of: “Holy Affirming, Holy Denying, Holy Reconciling.” Why? The first force is that of the Eternal Affirmation, the Father; the second, that of the Eternal Negation, that of the Son; and the third, that of the Eternal Reconciliation. The Father affirms, the Son denies. What does the Son deny? Why is it said that the Son denies? Because the Son denies, does not want all that we want: Passions, psychological defects, etc., etc., etc. And why is it said: “Holy Reconciling”? Because with that Third Force we reconcile ourselves… With whom? With the Divinity. I refer in emphatic form to the sexual force; it is the force with which our body was formed, it is the force with which it developed in the womb of our mother, it is the force that brought us into existence.

It is said: “Transubstantiated in me, for my Being” —for our Being—. It is said that the Three Primary Forces of the Universe —that of the Father, much beloved; that of the Son, much adored; and that of the Spirit, much wise—, pass through transubstantiation in us, for our Being. Do you understand what this signifies, my dear brothers? To transubstantiate, that is, that one substance becomes another. Now you will understand that the Three Primary Forces pass through transubstantiation in us and for us. It is something grandiose and it is obvious that we need to crystallize in ourselves the Three Primary Forces.

So then, my dear brothers, reflect, strive to eliminate the psychological “I,” return to the First Love, try to reconquer the innocence in your hearts, fight for that, learn to love the Eternal Feminine and thus one day you will be able to have the bliss of incarnating in yourselves the particular individual Jesus.

I do not want to underestimate the Great Kabir who in the Holy Land taught this doctrine. If for some reason the Great Kabir is great, it is because he taught us the Doctrine of the Eternal Savior, our inner, profound Savior, our Jeshua…

If we see a woman and the first thing that comes to our mind is lust, morbid thoughts, then we are insulting the Eternal Feminine; we are trampling our Divine Mother; we are vexing the one who is all love.

Chapter Four: LOVE

Fourth Conference

CONFERENCE GIVEN IN A PUBLIC AUDITORIUM, ON THE OCCASION OF VALENTINE’S DAY.

(Conference revised 60%, since the complete recording is not possessed.)

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

Distinguished gentlemen and ladies:

This night I address all of you with the purpose of speaking, in emphatic form, about that which is called “love.” We have chosen such theme as it is Saint Valentine’s Day, the patron of love. Undoubtedly, Valentinus was a great Master of the Gnosis; he founded a School called of the Valentinians: They were people who dedicated themselves to the studies of Christic esotericism in all its aspects; for that reason today we address you, in precise form, to speak to you about the miracle of love.

In the name of truth I must tell you that love begins with a flash of sympathy, becomes substantiated by the force of affection and is synthesized in adoration. To love! How great it is to love! Only great souls can and know how to love! For there to be love, affinity of thoughts is needed, affinity of feelings, and identical preoccupations and thoughts. The kiss comes to be the mystical consecration of two souls, eager to express what they internally live; the sexual act comes to be the consubstantiation of love in the psychophysiological realism of our nature. A perfect matrimony is the union of two beings: one who loves more and another who loves better. Love is the best religion accessible.

Hermes Trismegistus, the thrice-great God Ibis of Thoth, said: “I give you love, in which is contained the entire summum of wisdom.” How noble is the loved being, how noble is woman, when truly they are united by the bond of love! A couple of lovers becomes mystical, charitable, helpful. If all human beings lived in love, happiness, peace, harmony, perfection would reign over the face of the Earth. Certainly, a little handkerchief, a photograph, a portrait, provoke in the one in love, states of ineffable ecstasy; in such moments one feels in communion with one’s beloved, although she may be very distant. That is what is called “love”!

In the United States and also in Europe there exists an Order called the Order of the Swan; the affiliates to this Order study in profound form all the scientific processes related to love. When the couple is really in love, truly, there are produced within the organism marvelous transformations. Love is an effusion or an energetic emanation that springs from the deepest of consciousness; those radiations of love stimulate the endocrine glands of the entire organism, and they produce millions of hormones that invade the blood channels, filling them with extraordinary vitality.

“Hormone” comes from a Greek word that means “yearning to be,” “force to be.” How small a hormone is, but how great are the powers it has to revitalize the human organism! Truly, one is astonished to see an old decrepit man when he falls in love; then his endocrine glands produce sufficient hormones to revitalize him and rejuvenate him totally.

To love! How great it is to love! Only great souls can and know how to love! Love, in itself, is a cosmic force, the universal force that palpitates in every atom as it palpitates in every Sun. The stars also know how to love. Let us observe the delightful nights of full moon: they approach one another, and at times they fuse and integrate totally… “A collision of worlds!” the astronomers exclaim; but truly, what has happened is that two worlds have integrated by the bonds of love.

The planets of our solar system revolve around the Sun, attracted incessantly by that marvelous force of love. Let us observe the twinkling of the worlds in the starry firmament: that luminous twinkling —the light waves, the radiations— communes with the sigh of the flower… There is love between the star and the rose that releases into the air its delicious perfume; love in itself is profoundly divine, terribly divine.

In ancient times cult was always rendered to love, to woman; there is no doubt that woman is the most beautiful thought of the Creator, made flesh, blood and life… Really, woman has been born for a sacred mission, which is to bring children into this world, to multiply the species. Maternity, in itself, is grandiose. In ancient Mexico there was always a divinity consecrated, precisely, to those women who died during childbirth; it was said that “they continued, in the region of the dead, with their creatures in their arms”; it was affirmed, in emphatic form, that “after a certain time they entered the Tlalocan, the Paradise of Tlaloc.”

Really, always in Aztec Mexico cult was rendered to woman, to love, to maternity; for that reason the women who died in childbirth were considered, among the people of Anahuac, as true martyrs who delivered their life in the name of a great cause.

To love is something ineffable, divine; to love is an extraordinary cosmic phenomenon. In the corner of love only bliss reigns. When a couple is united in the sexual copulation, with bonds of true love, the most divine forces of Nature surround them —those forces created the Cosmos, those forces have come again to create anew—; in those moments, man and woman are true Gods in the most complete sense of the word; they can create like Gods. Such is how grandiose love is! Extraordinary are the forces that surround the couple during the sexual act, in the nuptial chamber; the human being could retain those extraordinary forces if he did not waste them in the holocaust of animal pleasure —which leads nowhere— if he truly respected the marvelous force of love.

Man is the expansive force of all creation; woman is the receptive and formal force of any creation. Man is like the hurricane; woman is like the delightful nest of doves in the temples or in the sacred towers. Man, in himself, has the capacity to fight; woman, in herself, has the capacity to sacrifice herself. Man, in himself, has the intelligence that is needed to live; woman has the tenderness that man needs when he returns daily from his work. So that, then, man and woman are the two columns of the temple; those two columns must not be too far nor too close; there must be a space so that the light may pass between them.

The sexual act is a Sacrament; thus the ancient peoples understood it. There were temples dedicated to love; let us remember the Temple of Venus, in the august Rome of the Caesars; let us remember the temples of ancient Chaldea; let us remember the sacred temples of India, where cult was rendered to that which is called “love.” In Lemuria, once situated on the Continent Mu, in the Pacific Ocean, cult was also rendered to love —there were truly, on the Mu Continent, two sexual processes or two forms of reproduction—.

In the middle of Lemuria, the human race was led by the Kumars up to certain temples where they were instructed on the sacred Sacrament of sex; then no one dared to perform the sacred copulation outside the temple. Only in certain epochs, I repeat, the human race was led by the Kumars toward the sacred temples; long journeys were made, in certain phases of the Moon, all with the purpose of reproducing the species. Still today, as a memory of that, as a reminiscence, the journeys of “honeymoon” have remained —there they have their origin and it is quite ancient—.

In the paved courtyards of the sacred temples, on the Lemurian Continent, under the direction of the wise Kumars, men and women united to create and once again to create; then the sexual act was most sacred; there did not exist morbidity as in our days, since people had not entered the involutionary, descending process of sexual degeneration. Old parchments or sacred papyri that still exist in some places of the Earth say that in Lemuria people reproduced with the power of Kriya Shakti, that is, with the power of Will and of Yoga.

Those who at some time have known the science of the Tantras will know to what I am referring… In the supreme moment of the metaphysical copulation, point out the old texts of ancient wisdom, man and woman withdrew from such chemical copulation without ejaculating the ens seminis, that is, the entity of the semen, since it was considered that sex, that the sperm, were sacred; no one then dared to profane sex. This is what today doctors could call coitus interruptus. It seems exaggerated, but I limit myself only to commenting on what the ancient traditions say, what is written in some papyri and in many books that currently exist in Eastern Tibet.

Arriving at this part, we must remember Sigmund Freud. In his psychoanalysis, he says that “it is possible to transmute the sexual libido and sublimate it.” Professor Sigmund Freud —Viennese, son of Austria— was truly an eminence: he produced a true innovation within the very terrain of medicine. Very many doctors have commented on him, many schools have accepted him, others have rejected him, but in any case he has been much discussed. They tell that in Berlin, Germany, before the Second World War, the Führer, Hitler, had many books burned and also among them, the works of Sigmund Freud…

I limit myself, then, to the facts, to comment on what has been so commented on in some texts. In any case, the Lemurians worked, let us say, with the system of Freud: they sublimated the sexual libido, and undoubtedly, obtained great cosmic powers.

All of us, in life, have at some time presensed the existence of the “Superman,” such as Frederick Nietzsche cites it in his book titled “Thus Spake Zarathustra.” We, the gnostics, think that the Superman truly existed; I do not refer to an individual in particular; I refer to those inhabitants of Lemuria. We have been told that then pain did not exist in childbirth, that women bore their children without pain. This is said not only in Genesis, but in many ancient religious books. We limit ourselves, I repeat, to commenting on this question; respecting as is natural your concept. Truly, we give the teaching and leave full freedom to the audience so that with their mind, they may accept, or reject, or interpret this doctrine as they well wish.

At these precise instants, I bring to memory the Lemurians, what they affirm in relation to sex. They lived from ten to fifteen centuries; they were tall men; they had four meters of stature; the women, a little smaller of body, but also giants like them. They spoke in a language that was lost; I want to refer, in emphatic form, to the Universal Language, that is, a superior language. Obviously, such language has its cosmic grammar. I know that language, preserved by the traditions in some secret places, in reserved sites.

If in those times one had to say: “Good morning,” we would not say it as today in the Spanish language, or in the English language: “Good Morning” or “Bon jour” etc., but rather one said, softly; “Haimu,” and the other answered, placing his hands on the heart: “Haimu”; it is a language that has its grammar in the form of graphic characters.

You will have observed, for example, that the Chinese have their characters, and it is quite difficult to learn to make those characters. The Greeks also have their characters, and Sanskrit theirs. Well then, in the Universal Language the characters are runic and the Vikings of the North preserved them until not long ago. In any case, whoever knows those characters, whoever understands them, undoubtedly will possess great erudition and will be capable of understanding certain texts that allude to Lemuria. Recently I was given —or sent from Tibet, precisely— a Sanskrit, Tibetan text; I have it in my possession. Unquestionably, I have not seen anyone who understands it; it is written with Sanskrit characters…

It happened that in those epochs of Lemuria, according to what those old books written with ancient characters say, that “Humanity did not think as we, those of now, do”; that “they lived from ten to fourteen centuries and spoke in a language that —as I have said— was lost.” Through time the various words of that language became corrupted, and from such corruption all the languages that today exist on the face of the Earth were born. However, I can tell you that that language resembles much, in its sounds, Chinese; it seems that the phonetics of the Universal Language and that of Chinese are similar; I have studied both phonetics and they seem to me practically equal.

You will have seen that the Chinese among themselves converse with a certain singing that is not that of the dry language we use, but has its “syllabications.” Such is the Universal Language; however, there is a very notable difference between Chinese and the Universal Language: the Lemurian or Universal language acts directly on fire, air, waters and earth. Very old traditions, most ancient, say that “the Lemurians had power over the elements of Nature”; this is what we could denominate the “Superman” of Frederick Nietzsche, in his work “Thus Spake Zarathustra.”

I tell you that those powers were due, especially, to the fact that the Lemurians did not eliminate or did not extract from their organisms the sacred sperm, that is, the Exiohehari; they only transmuted or sublimated it, just as Brown-Séquard —great North American scientist— teaches in his experiments, or Krumm Heller —physician and professor of the university of medicine, and also, medical colonel of our Mexican homeland—. There is no doubt that they knew that system of Lemuria and advocated it in their books. It would suffice to read, for example, the studies of a Brown-Séquard or a Krumm Heller, to be able to corroborate this kind of scientific affirmation.

Obviously, when the ens seminis is not ejaculated, it is transformed into energy, and this comes to revitalize the human organism. I understand that such type of energy is very fine, and that the energetic waves of sex put into activity the immense powers that are latent in the glands, pineal, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, etc., etc., etc. I do not try with this to establish dogmas or anything of the sort; I only refer to data we have studied and that today we comment on with you, since we are in a cultural, intellectual hall. I understand that here there are very cultured persons who can perfectly accept or reject these affirmations; I only limit myself to commenting on them.

To live ten or fifteen centuries would be inconceivable for us today; however, the Bible affirms that Methuselah lived nine hundred years, and this leaves us thinking a little… In any case, I understand that the Lemurian system gave good results, since these people had a long life; moreover they possessed extraordinary faculties. The Lemurians did not see the physical world as we see it; for them the air was of different colors, the mountains transparent, and those Gods of whom they spoke so much, obviously were perceptible to their inner senses of perception, that is, they enjoyed scientific extraperception.

There has been much discussion in our days about extraperception. Undoubtedly, people of three-dimensional psyche would never accept extraperceptions; but let us also remember that in the times of Galileo it was never accepted that the Earth was round or that it moved. When Galileo affirmed it, they were going to burn him alive; he was tried before the Inquisition, and placing him before the Bible, they told him: “If you do not swear and retract what you said, you will be burned alive at the stake.”

Then came the protest: “Do you swear that the Earth is not round and that it does not move?” He responded: “I swear it, ‘pur se muove, se muove’!” —that is, “but it moves…, it moves!” For having said this, for having taken the oath in this form, they did not burn him alive, no; there was a little compassion for him: they limited themselves to putting him in a jail and that was all.

So that, truly, the Universe always offers us unprecedented things, things that at first one rejects because they seem absurd, but later one has to accept them. Brown-Séquard demonstrated that many nervous and brain illnesses could disappear if during the chemical copulation, that which is called “orgasm,” in physiology, or “spasm,” were avoided. Naturally, Brown-Séquard was much criticized; he was considered “immoral,” etc., but there is no doubt that he approached a great secret: the Lemurian secret.

The Lemurians, due precisely to their religious forms and their special chemical copulation, enjoyed faculties that human beings of this epoch do not know. The Lemurians could see perfectly the higher dimensions of Nature and of the Cosmos; today human beings do not see the Earth as it is, but as it apparently is. Our planet Earth is multidimensional; this is demonstrated mathematically, but truly, the majority of people do not accept it, and each one is free to think as they wish.

Unfortunately, the intellectuals of this epoch are bottled up in the three-dimensional dogma of Euclid. That dogma has always been much discussed; it is clear that it is now passing out of fashion. Very wise men have written extraordinary works of mathematics that are related in one form or another with the fourth coordinate; those men are respected; no one dares to dispute them, but there are still people who show themselves skeptical. However the work titled “Ontology of Mathematics,” would well be worth that the intellectuals knew it in depth, profoundly.

The Lemurians, then, when they lifted their eyes to the stars, could communicate with inhabitants of other worlds; for them life on other planets of the solar system was a reality. “The plurality of inhabited worlds,” advocated by Camille Flammarion, was a fact for the Lemurian race… In Lemuria, before the chemical copulation, in the very Temple, man and woman passed through brilliant mystical ceremonies; cult was rendered to the divine, to the Great Alaya of the Universe, to that which the Chinese called Tao, to that which we gnostics denominate the INRI, to that which is what is, what always has been and what always will be.

Obviously, they understood that nothing can exist in the Creation without a directing, intelligent principle, and for that reason, before the chemical copulation, they adored the eternal. With time, the Lemurian race was little by little degenerating. There existed enormous cities, cyclopean cities; the walls of those cities were raised with lava from volcanoes, etc.; in such cities there was an extraordinary civilization: there were ships propelled by atomic energy, ships that reached the Moon, ships that reached each of the planets of the solar system.

Our modern civilization, with the famous rockets that “Tyrians” and “Trojans” make descend upon the Moon, is not in reality the first of civilizations, nor will it be the last; in truth one needs to understand that in the world various civilizations have existed, and that ours is not the only one.

The Lemurians had a great civilization, I repeat. They did not fear death; they knew very well or knew very well and in direct form, the day and the hour of their death, and when that day arrived, they lay down in their sepulcher —sepulcher that they themselves made with their own hands— and very smiling they passed to eternity. The psychic values did not disappear from the sight of the relatives; obviously, there was then no pain.

Thus old ancient texts have commented, and I in turn allow myself to talk with you about these things because I see that you have come here in comprehensive form. It is clear that not all who listen to me will agree with what we are affirming; it would be absurd that I supposed for a moment, that all the persons who are in this auditorium, accept or would accept these affirmations; but those who really know how to listen, understand very well that everything is possible in the Universe. The world of possibilities is always infinite, and if someone comments on ancient texts, it is worth listening to him; that is obvious.

I say that the Lemurians, later, involuted in time; then their faculties of perception were lamentably atrophying. Many traditions tell that after some time, the Lemurians began to copulate outside the Temples, that they rebelled against the direction of the Kumars, that they took the sexual act on their own and that they ejaculated the ens seminis. So say some treatisers. As consequence or corollary, they lost their transcendental faculties, and when the Lemurian race —in all the corners of that gigantic continent that once covered the Pacific Ocean— entered the Temples, the Priests or Hierophants expelled the devotees telling them: “Out, unworthy ones!” It was then when, truly, man left the Earthly Paradise with his woman, for having “eaten” of that “forbidden fruit” that was vetoed to him in other times.

Truly I say the following: Adam is all the men of the ancient epoch; woman, Eve, all the women; and when one “ate” of the “forbidden fruit,” men and women were thrown out of the Temples of Mysteries; their faculties atrophied, and then man had to work hard to sustain his wife and his children, and woman had to bring her children into the world with pain. This that I am saying is much documented among the Nahuas, among the Mayas, and in many peoples of Asia; always one has spoken about the same thing.

I have seen codices where these figures appear, where what I am saying appears represented in figures. I have carefully investigated such codices; so then, what I am speaking has documentation. I repeat, I do not oblige anyone to believe it, but it would be worth that the studious investigated a little among Mayas, Toltecs, Zapotecs, etc… Did the human being involute? Yes, that is mentioned or cited in ancient books.

So that in love there is a secret, and this seems to me has been very well stipulated by Sigmund Freud: Sublimation of the creative energy; to look at sex with profound respect! Obviously, man and woman are like two parts of a same being. Man came out of Eden accompanied by his wife, and must return to Eden with his very wife. With other words we would say: Man came out of Eden through the doors of sex, and only through that door can he return to Eden. Eden is the very sex.

What immense powers would awaken if Humanity accepted the system of Brown-Séquard, or of the Oneida Society, or of Krumm Heller: systems founded on the old traditions of Lemuria! This is something that doctors, men of science, could investigate; I limit myself, simply, to thinking that from the transmutation and sublimation of the creative energy comes a radical psychological-physiological-biological transformation. The Superman of Nietzsche could be attained through the transmutation of sexual libido; but the main thing is to know how to love; without love it is not possible to realize all these prodigies.

Observe that beside great men great women always appear. Beside Buddha Gautama Sakyamuni is Yasodhara, his beautiful wife and disciple; beside the Divine Rabbi of Galilee appears Mary Magdalene. Obviously, it would not be possible for great men to perform gigantic labors like those that have allowed the changing of the course of history, if they were not in turn accompanied by some great woman. Man and woman, truly, I repeat, are two aspects of one same being; that is clear.

Love, in itself, comes from the unknown of our Being. I want to say in emphatic form, that within ourselves, there in the most intimate depths, we possess our Being; it has transcendental characteristics of eternity; it is the divine in us. Love, I say, is the force that emanates precisely from that divine prototype existing in the depth of our consciousness. It is a type of special energy, capable of performing true prodigies.

Valentinus and the Valentinians had their School; it was a Gnostic School where the mysteries of sex were studied, where they were carefully analyzed. Valentinus and the Valentinians truly knew the Lemurian secret; they sublimated the creative energy and attained the development of certain psychic possibilities that are latent in the human race. We have been told that Valentinus was a great Illuminated One, a great Master in the most complete sense of the word.

Love, in itself, is something divine. Let us look at the swan; the Kala-Hamsa Swan is the symbol of love. It flies over the waters of the “lake of life.” A pair of swans, on some lake…, how beautiful it is! When one of the pair dies, the other succumbs from sadness, and it is that love is nourished with love. But one must know how to love; unfortunately, the human being does not know how to love. Many times, man treats woman very badly on his first wedding night; he does not want to understand that virginity is sacred and that one must know how to respect it; one could say that he rapes his very wife. He does not want to understand that one must know how to treat woman with wisdom, that one must know how to lead her along the path of love.

In daily life, often man and woman quarrel; they quarrel over insignificant questions; they quarrel; man says one thing, woman another. At times it happens that a little word is sufficient for one of the couple to react. They do not know how to control themselves; they do not want to understand that the home is the best “psychological gymnasium”; precisely in the life of the home we can self-discover ourselves. It is in the home where we come to discover our defects of psychological type.

They wound us. Why do they wound us? Could it be that we have jealousy? Could it be that they have wounded our self-love? Could it be that they have wounded our pride, vanity, or what? When one discovers that one has a psychological defect, one has also the opportunity to disintegrate it, to reduce it to cosmic dust. Eliminating our errors, our defects, one of those many days we shall be able to attain the awakening of consciousness.

Unfortunately, people do not want to eliminate their defects; they say: “I am irate, that is my way of being.” Another says: “Well, I am jealous. That’s how I am! So what?” The one beyond exclaims: “I am lustful, I like women. That’s how I am, that’s how I was born! So what?” With that way of thinking, with that way of feeling, it is not possible to attain a true transformation. When one recognizes that one has a psychological defect, one must eliminate it. One comes to discover that one has this or that error precisely in the house, in the home; for that reason the home serves as a psychological gymnasium for us.

Many complain that their wives are irascible, jealous, and desire to get themselves another woman who is a paradise, who is an angel come down from the stars, etc. They do not want to understand that the home is an extraordinary gymnasium, and that it is there where we can self-discover ourselves. Precisely in the home we have the opportunity to discover our errors, and if we achieve it, we shall obtain the awakening of consciousness.

One must know how to love. In the house there must always reign understanding between man and woman. Man must not expect that woman be perfect; nor can woman aspire that man be a “prince charming”; one must accept things as they are, and have the house as a school where we can self-discover ourselves. As we go eliminating so many and so many psychological defects we have, the happiness of the home will go increasing, and if one day we had to suffer much, later that home will become a paradise.

Jealousy, for example, is something that damages the home; the jealous one “makes a horse out of a flea.” If woman looks at someone, he is already suffering; it already seems to him that she has relations with another man, etc., etc. —errors of his mind, but that he takes as realities—. The jealous woman is the same: she makes the male suffer. He cannot look at any other woman because she is already suffering and making terrible scandals within the house; along that path of jealousy one suffers excessively.

If one really investigates carefully the origin of jealousy, one will discover that it is due precisely to fear. One fears losing what one most loves; woman fears losing man, man fears losing woman. Woman believes that man is going off with another, man supposes that woman is going off with another, and of course, sufferings and pains come; but if we eliminate fear, jealousy disappears.

How could we eliminate the fear of losing the loved being? Only through reflection, through meditation. Let us think that, truly, we did not come into the world accompanied by the loved being, that only the doctor or midwife received us; that neither did we bring into the world money or material goods… It is clear that at the hour of death, neither will we go off accompanied; woman or man, one will have to remain here while the other departs for eternity. So that, death separates us from the physical point of view; for that reason the priests say when they perform a marriage: “I declare you husband and wife, until death separates you.”

Truly, sooner or later death comes; so it is. If when we die we do not take with us into eternity even a pin, or a coin, nothing of what we have, neither could we take the loved being with body and all. Then, why do we fear? We must accept things as they are; we must not have material or personal attachments, because the moment of detachment is usually terrible. One suffers when one attaches to something, whether it be a person, whether it be some thing; one always suffers; and for that reason we must not have attachments of any kind, nor fear because we have to lose something…

The most serious thing that could happen to a man is that they take him to the firing wall, and so what? To die we are born; then what? Sooner or later we have to die, and those who love their money much, who are attached to their fortune, sooner or later will have to lose it. Why then would they fear, if that is the most natural? Likewise, why should we fear the loss of the loved being? When one understands that everything in life has a beginning and an end, fear disappears, even the fear of losing the loved being, and when such fear disappears, then jealousy disappears forever; it no longer exists; it cannot, must not exist, since there is no fear.

Another factor of discord between couples, in the homes, is anger. Man says one thing —irate—, woman responds “with two stones in her hand,” and they finally end up in a battle of broken plates and glasses, etc. That is the crude reality of the facts! If the demon of anger were eliminated, peace would reign in the homes; there would be no pain. But I say to myself and I say to you: Why must there be anger within us? Because we are like that… So that it is not possible that we change? Yes, it is possible!

I proposed to myself to change and I changed. I was irate; I also knew the process of anger, like you, but I proposed to myself to eliminate it and I eliminated it. Of course, I had to go through certain sacrifices in order to eliminate anger: I would visit those places where someone might insult me; I would go with the purpose that they insult me. I knew of an individual XX who did not like our teachings, and I would visit him intentionally so that he might insult me.

The man would insult me; he would last half… an hour insulting me; meanwhile I observed myself; I observed my internal and external reactions, the impulses that come from within and those that come from without; I observed the causes that motivate anger. I could verify that in some circumstances, anger was produced because they wounded my pride; I could prove that on other occasions, anger was produced because they wounded my self-love; I loved myself much, I thought that I was a great person, without understanding that I was only a wretched worm of the mud of the earth; I believed myself great and if someone touched the sore I had there inside, then I reacted furiously, “thundered” and “lightninged,” “tore my garments” and protested.

I proposed to myself to study all those factors of anger, and through great super-efforts and sacrifices I managed to eliminate anger. So that, that of “I am like that,” has no value; if one is like that, one can change, and if one changes one benefits oneself and benefits one’s fellows. One must learn to eliminate our errors, and it is possible by reflecting a little. How blissful couples would be if they knew how to love truly! If man never had anger; if woman never had anger!

I understand that the “honeymoon” can be preserved; unfortunately, human beings, those who marry, are determined to end the most beautiful thing there is: the “honeymoon.” If one really wants to preserve the “honeymoon,” one must eliminate anger, one must eliminate jealousy, one must eliminate egoism; we must become understanding, learn to forgive the loved being all their errors.

No one is born perfect; man must know that woman has her defects, woman must understand that man has his. Mutually they must forgive each other their defects of psychological type; if they so proceed, they will preserve the “honeymoon.” Among the ancient peoples of Anahuac, Xochipilli was the God of Song, of Love and of Beauty; Xochipilli teaches us to preserve the indisputable delights of the “honeymoon.” It is a pity that people do not understand the Doctrine of Xochipilli! It is possible to preserve the “honeymoon” when one learns to forgive the errors of the loved being; but if one does not know how to forgive the errors, the “honeymoon” is lost.

When a couple marries, they should understand psychology better. Ordinarily, one of the couple begins by wounding the other; the other reacts and wounds also; a conflict is formed. At last the conflict passes, the two reconcile and everything continues apparently in peace, but it is not so: the resentment remains. Another day there is another conflict; husband and wife dispute over any foolishness; perhaps some jealousy, or in short, any thing.

Result: The conflict passes and another resentment remains, and so, from conflict to conflict, the resentments go on increasing and the “honeymoon” is ending. Finally, there is no longer such “honeymoon”; it is over; what there is are resentments on both sides, and if they do not divorce, if they continue united, they do so out of duty or simply for animal passion, and that is all. Many marriages no longer have anything to do with love. Love today smells of gasoline, of celluloid, of bank accounts and of resentment. The most serious, the gravest error that a man and a woman can commit, is to end the “honeymoon.”

It could be preserved, on condition of knowing how to preserve it. Did the woman insult you? Did she say harsh words to you? Stay serene, peaceful, do not react for anything in life; bite your tongue before answering; finally she, upon seeing you so serene, without any type of reaction, will feel tremendously ashamed and will ask your forgiveness. Did your husband insult you, woman? What did he say to you? Is he making you jealous of the boyfriend you had before?

What happened? Is the man today in a bad mood? Did he return from the street tremendously neurasthenic? Stay serene! Bring him his food, his clothes; help him to bathe, kiss him, love him, and the more he insults you, the more you love him. What will happen at last? You can be sure, women, that the man at last will feel tremendously repentant; he will feel that remorse ravages his heart, and he will even kneel to ask your forgiveness; he will see in you a saint, a martyr, and he will consider himself a tyrant, an evildoer. You will have won the battle! If both, man and woman, proceed thus, if they act according to this formula, I can guarantee that the “honeymoon” is not lost.

Man goes on learning little by little to control himself, upon understanding that his wife is a saint, and woman little by little goes on learning to control herself, as she realizes that her male is tremendously noble. The moment arrives when neither of the two wants to wound each other; they idolize each other; the “honeymoon” continues throughout the entire life. That is the art of loving and being loved… Does your wife cry? Kiss her tears, caress her.

She does not accept the caresses? Well, wait a little until the anger passes. Anger has a beginning and has an end; any tempest, however strong it may be, has its beginning and has its conclusion. Wait a moment and you will see the result; the important thing is that you not get angry, and if you achieve it, if you control yourself, at last she will come “meekly” to ask your forgiveness. And how great is the bliss of reconciliation!

Today, day of Saint Valentine and of the Valentinians, we must touch in depth all these questions of love. Truly, one must learn to live. To be intellectual is an easy thing; it is enough to put a library in one’s brain and one is ready; but to know how to live, how difficult! Very few are, in truth, those who know how to live. One must begin with the home; one must begin by being a good householder; the man who does not know how to be a good householder, who does not know how to live in his house with his wife and with his children, neither does he know how to live with society.

Unfortunately, many want to be perfect citizens and appear as such before the solemn verdict of public conscience, but in their house they do not know how to live. I have been able to observe some organizations; I know a man who squanders his money much, wastes it; in sum, he is always owing the rent and this is very serious. When he comes to have, he wastes the money; his wife suffers much hunger, much need; his children suffer beyond words; sometimes they have been put “out on the street” for lack of payment, of course.

He was named, on one occasion, Director of a Philosophical School; soon afterward it happened that in that School there was no one to pay the rent; they owed several months of rent of the building… Telephone? No one paid the telephone. Conclusion: Such organization was going along the path of failure. Why? Because that good gentleman did not know how to live in his house; much less could he direct an organization.

Whoever truly wants to be a good chief of some organization, whether it be a business, whether it be a school, must begin by learning to be a good householder. There are many who say: “Well, what interests me is science, art, philosophy, etc.; that of the house and of rents, has for me no importance whatsoever”; and he treats his poor wife with kicks. Conclusion: They turn out a failure in the various organizations where they work, whether as school teachers, etc. Whoever does not know how to be a good householder, neither can he be a useful citizen for society and for his fellows. One must learn to live, to know how to live with true intelligence and great understanding.

Some hasten to marry and that is very serious, especially poor women. I have known them, already reaching maturity, on the eve of losing flourishing youth, when the train is about to leave them. How much they suffer, looking to see whom they hunt; in no way are they willing to “remain to dress saints”! They say: “Between one remaining to dress saints or resolving to undress drunks, the second will be preferable,” and up to a certain point the poor ones are right. But they hasten too much, and at last they try to conquer over there whomever they can; as they can, they make the “little struggle” to attain it. And they manage to marry sometimes, but failure is inevitable, because there is an old saying that goes: “Marriage and shroud, from heaven descend.”

There is a Law that many will accept and others not. I do accept it, and those who want to accept it, let them accept it: it is the Law of Destiny. I think that for each woman there is a male; I think that for each man there is a woman; then it will be better for them to wait for the man who will fall to them; if no man falls to them, well, what can be done, conform, resign and resolve to “dress saints.” But if one falls to them, well, marvelous; they will not have to resolve to “undress drunks.”

Truly, it would be preferable for a woman to remain single, than to fail. When one wants to force the step, when they want to marry “by force,” “by hook or by crook,” as the saying goes, the result is failure; that is the crude reality of our days. There are some women who try to “catch” the man by his sexual side; they say: “Well, I give myself to this man and perhaps thus I shall manage that he marry me.” The man brings her the firmament, the stars, the gold palaces of A Thousand and One Nights; he puts them at her feet, and she gives herself…

What happens? She becomes pregnant! And what about the man? She never hears from such man again. See how many errors some women fall into who want to precipitate marriage “by force.” That is a lack of faith in destiny, in God, or however you want to denominate it; it is better that women know how to wait a little.

Some men also commit the error of wanting to precipitate their marriage, and the result is usually quite serious. For one to marry a woman who does not correspond to him —according to the Law of Destiny—, implies failure; that is obvious. There is a vulgar saying that goes: “Marriage is not precisely the horn of abundance, but the abundance of horns.” Men who truly do not know how to wait a little, who want to precipitate marriage by force, end up later with their good pair of “horns,” and that is sad…

There is a story that says the following: a man went there, to the deep infernos, because he had been very bad. And he encountered the Devil; he approaches the Devil and says: “Well sir, who are you?” He answers him: “Impertinent, rude, one does not speak to me like that! Do you not see that I am the Devil?” “Well, excuse me Mr. Devil: are you married?” Response: “Impertinent! Who has told you that the Devil marries?” “Well —he said to him— it is because as I am seeing the horns on your head…”

To that is exposed, truly, the man who wants to force marriage. There are young people, fourteen, fifteen or sixteen years old, who already want to marry; they have a little girlfriend; they do not know how to work; they still do not know how to “earn the beans,” but they want to marry. Result: failure; because of course, they still do not have experience in life, and sooner or later the woman tires of enduring so much hunger and “so long, my friend,” there is no other remedy. One must be, then, measured. I consider marriage as something very serious, very grave. Truly, there are three very great events in life: first, birth; second, marriage, and third, death. They are the three most important events of existence.

So then, think about what marriage signifies. We must not marry a woman who does not belong to us in spirit; our affinity must be spiritual at bottom. What would a male do marrying a calculating, interested, jealous woman? Well, he would fail lamentably. Or what would woman do, marrying an enamoring male, a male of bad conduct, a male who in his house was always a bad son, bad brother, and who in the street has always shown himself to be a bad friend? He who is a bad son, who is a bad brother, who is a bad friend, can in no way be a good husband. That is obvious!

Looking at all these things from various angles, we shall understand how delicate is, precisely, marriage and love. The interesting thing is to understand it, and act according to our creative comprehension. There are women who do not want to learn to do the domestic chores, but do want to marry; they do not know how to cook the food, but do want to marry; they do not know how to sew a suit, but want to marry, and the day they do it, the poor man finds that the woman does not know how to do the housework; she asks for a maid —of course yes!—, but if she does not know how to do the housework, how can she direct others?

The owner of a factory has to know the factory in order to direct it wisely; the school teacher has to know all the subjects taught at school; thus, also, it is clear that a woman must know the housework, if she really intends to command the servants. If she wants to command the servants and does not know the housework, how would she command them? How would a General, who does not know military matters, take troops to the battlefield? How could he draw up a strategy, if he has never been in the army, if he is only a “phantom General” and nothing more?

One must know how to do one’s job; both men and women should know their job and know it well; that is clear. But there are women who also want the husband to do all the housework; he has to wash the little boy, has to change his clothes, clean him and even give him the bottle; they want that, that is what they have to do; it seems to me that this is not correct. Man has his duties, his obligations, and woman hers. Man has to go out to the street to struggle, to obtain money; he has to go out to work, and woman has to watch over her home, the housework, raise her children, etc.

In these times something terrible is happening; I want to refer to the raising of children. Already many mothers do not want to give the breast to their children, and the result is that the race is growing up weak, a fact that you must value in what it signifies. Maternal milk is related to the Thymus gland; it is obvious that also, by Law of Relations, maternal milk is intimately prepared for the child that comes to birth. Unfortunately, mothers no longer want to give the breast to their children; that maternal milk, so vital for the growth of the creatures, when it is denied to the child, produces disastrous effects: he grows up weak, sick and lacking intelligence.

In ancient times, mothers gave the breast to their children with all naturalness; it was normal that in ancient times those men lifted a very heavy sword, to hold it for whole hours on the battlefield. There are Roman swords that, today, a single man could not lift; two, or three, or four men are needed to lift them, and yet a single one wielded it on the battlefields. The race has weakened through all those customs, and the worst of all is that: denying maternal milk to a child. In the name of truth I say that this seems to me terrible, monstrous; the ancient men were very strong because their mothers did not deny them the breast.

So that, truly, our race is now marching along an involutionary, descending path; illnesses multiply greatly, and that is frightful; from childhood one does not possess a true strength; now creatures are only given “water-milk,” and that is all —and that, regulated every three hours, although the creature cries bitterly, the weeping does him no good; he has to endure three hours; thus Nature is being corrected—.

Gentlemen, ladies, let us think about all this. It is good that we try to regenerate ourselves; it is good that we learn to love; it is good that we —all— understand the need to know how to live in the home. There is nothing more beautiful than marriage; there is nothing more beautiful than love; unfortunately, it is we who are damaging the enchantment of the home. In Russia, young people no longer want to marry. For what?, they say; and they are right.

So that they may be subjected to so many regulations, to so much mechanicity? So that their children may be taken from them and led far from the home? So that they may be subjected to various scientific experiments? In those conditions the young Russians are right not to want to marry; they are disillusioned, and with just reason; the Russian government finds itself before a grave problem. I say that, truly, it is necessary to know how to respect the home, to know how to raise the children, to know how to educate them…

Friends, it is necessary to know how to take advantage of that creative energy of sex, that energy that flows from the nucleus of every atom, from the nucleus of our solar system and from the nucleus of every galaxy of starry space. Love, in itself, was always respected; never, ever, has Humanity fallen into a state of sexual degeneration like in these times. There are countries where already eighty or ninety-five percent of the inhabitants are homosexuals and lesbians. I do not want to cite such countries, because in no way must we wound any organization, country or person, but Humanity is indeed degenerated in these times. Unquestionably, homosexuality and lesbianism are due precisely to sexual abuse.

The regenerated people of the middle of Lemuria, in epochs when Humanity had not left the paradisiacal state, did not ejaculate as I already said the ens seminis, and when they united to create, they did so in a mystical and transcendental form. We, the people of this epoch, have involuted too much; now sex has become a game, a sport. In Paris, we have been told that there are people fornicating, copulating in plain parks; the authorities of Paris say nothing about that. So that everywhere degeneration abounds today. We must try to seek the path of regeneration; we must love woman intensely; we must see in her a miraculous poem of A Thousand and One Nights; we must pour out the wine of wisdom, if we want to live righteously. Thus far my talk this night. I have spoken!

Man is like the hurricane; woman is like the delightful nest of doves in the temples or in the sacred towers.

Chapter Five: MARRIAGE, DIVORCE AND TANTRISM

Fifth Conference

(Conference that has not been able to be revised since the original recording is not possessed.)

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

The relaxation of good customs in countries that pride themselves on being civilized is lamentable. The civil or religious formula of Marriage has become an official permit to fornicate for a few days, after which divorce comes. They marry today and divorce tomorrow. That is all. Today, instead of saying: “Let us sleep together,” it is said: “Let us marry.” Thus the matter is somewhat covered up, dissimulated, legalized.

Practically modern marriage has become a new type of prostitution. We know the case of women who have married ten and fifteen times. Many of those ladies are great cinema artists, or ladies of the “high world.” No one says anything about their ten or fifteen husbands. Since prostitution is legalized, everyone keeps quiet.

Truly people confuse passion with love. Passion is a poison that deceives the mind and the heart. The passionate man firmly believes that he is in love. The passionate woman could even swear that she is in love. The passionate ones dream of love, sing to love, but have never awakened to the world of love. They do not know what love is, they only dream of it and believe themselves in love. That is an error, and when passion has been fully satisfied the crude reality remains; then divorce comes. Even when it may seem exaggerated to affirm that of a million couples who believe themselves in love only one may be really in love, that is so. It is rare to find in life a couple really in love. There exist millions of passionate couples, but it is very difficult to find couples in love.

It is urgent to dissolve the “I” to fabricate Soul; only the Soul knows how to love truly. The Soul is strengthened and fortified by the fire of the Holy Spirit. It is well to know that the fire of the Holy Spirit is love. It is well to know that the fire of the Holy Spirit is the Kundalini of which the Hindustanis speak. Only this sexual blazing fire can open the Seven Churches of the Soul. Only this electronic fire can fill the Soul with terribly divine igneous powers. Whoever does not understand this can lose his Soul; the Soul that renounces sex and love dies inevitably.

Man shows his virility by doing works of love, not by speaking of love that he is incapable of performing. The kiss of the Mother Kundalini is for the virile man and for the woman truly in love with her husband. The kiss of the Mother Kundalini is death. The kiss of the Mother Kundalini is life. The passionate ones know nothing of these things; the only thing they think about is satisfying their desires and then divorcing; nothing else occurs to them; that is the only thing they know how to do. Poor people! They are worthy of pity.

“Cook and recook and cook again your clay and your water, so that when your clay returns to the clay and your water evaporates, your amphora of Salvation may remain” —that is, your Soul resplendent and shining in the hands of your Inner God.

Whoever sees sin in love, whoever hates sex, is a degenerate infrasexual who wants to castrate the Sun, but unfortunately he himself will be castrated. Whoever hates love and sex will not eat the “food of the Sun” and his testicles will dry up and he will be dead before dying.

Those who believe themselves in love must dissect the “I”; they must self-explore in order to discover whether it is passion or love that they have in their hearts. Lovers need to know themselves so as not to be castrated and to make their virile creation. If your love is one, and in this love you include all loves, your testicles will eat the food of the Sun. He who wants to enter the “kingdom of esotericism” must dress himself with the Garment of Regeneration; that is the Wedding Garment. To the table of the invited where the angels sit, one cannot come without the Wedding Garment. That garment cannot be had by those who spill the sacred wine. Those few who truly are in love know that the wine must not be spilled. Unfortunately the lovers are very rare; there are almost none.

Judases are never lacking in marriages. The fatal triangle, adultery, occasions thousands of divorces. It seems incredible that even the Great Arcanum is now used by the tenebrous ones to commit adultery and satisfy passions. Even the most holy is profaned by the adulterers and fornicators. The passionate ones respect nothing.

Happiness in marriage is only possible with the death of Judas. This Judas is the “I,” the “myself,” the reincarnating “Ego.” We have to go from Peter to John. First we must walk the Path of Peter and work with the Philosopher’s Stone (sex). Afterward we have to reach the Path of John (the Word). These two paths are separated by the frightful abyss where only weeping and gnashing of teeth are heard. We need to build a bridge to unite the two paths, if we truly want to go from Peter to John; that bridge is called death. There Judas, the “I,” the “myself,” the “Ego,” must die.

Remember that the kiss of the Mother Kundalini is death and resurrection. You will awaken one day and then you will have the bliss of dying in yourself; Judas must die on the bridge if you want to reach the Path of John (the Word). It is necessary that you be killed so that you may be free and convert your clay into an amphora of Salvation (Soul), into which the great hidden Lord may pour, that food, that drink, the only solar food and the only solar drink with which can be sated his hunger and his thirst for justice anyone who manages to escape victorious from the horrendous valley of death.

Peter, who is declared to be Cephas —Stone—, represents all the work with sex. John signifies the Word, the incarnation of the Word through successive degrees and successive Cosmic Initiations. Peter dies crucified like the Christ and with his head down, toward the Stone, indicating to us the work with the Philosopher’s Stone (sex). John (the Word), rests his head on the heart of Christ Jesus, as if saying: “Give me shelter of love in your home and I will return it to you eternal in my Sacred Heart.”

Each one must build the bridge of death in himself. The Path of Peter must unite with that of John through the death of Judas. Only reaching John do we incarnate the Word, realize the Word, Christify ourselves. “But not all understand the Path of Peter and do not walk because they do not yet know if the stones have heart, and so they do not understand the Path of John either.”

No one can reach the Path of John without having walked the Path of Peter (sex). John (the Word) is waiting for us. Let us remember that scene of the sea of Tiberias, after the meal of fish. Peter looks at John and asks the Master: “And what about this one?” The master responds: “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”

Truly the Word awaits in the depth of our Ark the instant of being realized. Perfect matrimony is the Path of Peter; we need to lay the bridge of death to reach the Path of John. Judas, the “I,” is the one who damages the happiness of marriages; Judas fornicates and marries from animal passion believing himself in love. We need to hang Judas on the “bridge of death.” Only thus shall we manage to reach John. Regeneration is impossible without the death of Judas (the “I”).

Sex is not pure brain. Even the stones have heart, and if we want to turn sex into pure brain and violate the Law and commit adultery, the result will be total failure, the Abyss and the second death.

Judas betrays us from instant to instant, and if Judas does not die from instant to instant, we shall never reach the Path of John. When people resolve to die from instant to instant, happiness will reign in the homes and fornication and adultery will end. The divorced are the result of Passion. Passion dead there exist no mistaken marriages, nor divorces. There also exist those who marry from pure economic interest or social conveniences; this is how Judas sells Christ for thirty pieces of silver.

The result is divorce. Today money marries money: “How much you have, how much you are worth…”; “money speaks for you…” Thus speak the imbeciles. These insulters, these blasphemers against the Holy Spirit, call themselves practical people and constantly live marrying and divorcing, if they have the luck not to be killed by the bullet of the resentful spouse. Truly those people totally ignore that which is called love; however they speak of love and even swear eternal love.

Now magazines with love advertisements are in fashion. Most amusing are said advertisements: “White woman, such stature, such capital, eyes of this or that color, weight so much, religion such, etc., wishes to marry a gentleman who has so many years, such capital, such color, such stature, etc., etc., etc.” “Gentleman of such cult, such age, such color, etc., wishes to contract marriage with a woman who measures such stature, who has such color, such capital, etc.”

All this is really amusing and horrible. All this is prostitution with the approval of the authorities and society. The result of all this is pain, absurd marriages, prostitution and divorce.

Good customs have been lost, and the unity of the homes has come to the ground. Now, in these times, married women go alone into clubs, taverns, cinemas, etc. Saturdays are very special days for married men. That day, as end of the week, they give themselves the luxury of finishing off their money in the tavern and adulterating miserably, without caring a whit about the fate of their children. Men and women have given themselves over to a relaxation of good customs, and the result cannot be other than the failure of marriages. What is built on false bases turns out all false. To marry from passion, to marry from economic interest, from social conveniences, etc., must lead to failure inevitably.

For there to be love full mystical communion of the two beings is needed, on all the seven levels of the mind. This full communion not existing on the seven levels of the mind, the result is divorce. Love is like a solitary tree illuminated by the Sun. Love is like a newborn child; love is like an ineffable rose bathed by the light of the full moon. Love and passion are incompatible. Love and passion are two substances that cannot be combined. Love is absolutely innocent. Where there is love there cannot exist jealousies, anger, or resentments, because love begins with a flash of sympathy, is substantiated by the force of affection, and is synthesized in adoration. A perfect matrimony is the union of two beings, one who loves more and another who loves better.

Before marrying it is necessary to self-explore the “I” in very sincere and very profound form to self-discover ourselves absolutely. We must use the scalpel of self-criticism to extract the passion we have within and place it on the carpet of crude realities. It is better to know how to renounce in time, than to fail lamentably. It is urgent to discover whether the plenitude of love really exists in us. Only on the basis of love can we realize a good marriage. For there to be love there must exist between the two beings, affinity of thoughts, affinity of feelings, affinity of emotions, affinity in action, affinity of religions and of ideas, etc., etc., etc. Where this mystical communion does not exist, love is an impossibility.

In this matter of marriage legislators can establish all the laws they want, but they will really achieve nothing in improving. The happiness of marriages is only possible by “hanging” Judas (the “I”). Whoever wants to be happy in marriage must be sincere with himself and not marry from passion or interest or social conveniences.

Modern marriages profane the sexual act. Modern marriages have failed due to sexual abuse. Modern marriages do not want to understand the divine majesty of sex. It is necessary to know that sex is most holy. In the Sacred India of the Vedas, sex is used to attain more elevated forms of ecstasy. Among the Yogas of Hindustan, sex is used to attain union with the vital spirit and enter Nirvana. It would not occur to any sage of the Orient to use sex to satisfy carnal passions. The tantric yogi uses woman for his intimate Self-realization. The best thing about Hinduism and Buddhism is Tantrism. The best thing about Yoga is “sex-yoga,” Tantrism. We can assert that Tantrism is the essence of yoga.

There exist three classes of Tantrism: White, Black and Gray. Truly, the only thing that serves is White Tantrism; in this there does not exist the orgasm or ejaculation of semen. In this the Kundalini awakens, that is, the fire of the Holy Spirit. Said fire fortifies the Soul, strengthens it and fills it with terribly divine igneous powers. Sex-yoga says that “poison must be turned into medicine.” By poison they understand the use of woman and of spirituous drinks. In alchemical terms we would say that “lead must be transformed into gold.”

Truly, Yoga without Tantrism serves no purpose; Yoga without its sexual essence serves no purpose. The Brahmins considered sexual union as equivalent to a divine sacrifice, and the feminine organs as the fire in which it is offered in sacrifice. The Brahmin woman says in one of the sacred texts: “If it is your wish to use me for the sacrifice, may any blessing that you invoke through my mediation be granted to you.”

In Buddhist Tantrism Nirvana is attained by means of woman and sex. The yogis attain ecstasy with the sexual act, without spilling the semen. This is the coitus reservatus, that is, the sexual act without reaching the ejaculation of semen. The Tantric yogis pass through a very long and difficult preparation before entering the terrain of sex-yoga. In all that preparation enter concentration, meditation, bandhas, mudras, pratyahara, pranayamas, etc.

A text indicates that the yogi has to sleep with the woman three months at his right and three months at his left, but without having sexual contact with her. Only after this comes the sexual union without ejaculation. This act is the Maithuna. So is it called. With Maithuna Nirvana is attained. With Maithuna ecstasy is reached. With Maithuna the Kundalini awakens and develops totally.

Before the Tantric sexual act, one dances happily; yogi and yogini initiate the Dance of Shiva and Shakti before the Maithuna. Shiva is the Holy Spirit, and Shakti his wife, the Eternal Feminine. The pair of yogis after the sacred dance sit to meditate like the Mayan Initiates, back against back, the two spinal columns making contact to attain perfect mental and respiratory-emotional dominion.

The position in which they sit is in the Oriental style, with legs crossed as Buddha is represented, and on the floor. Only after this comes the practice with Maithuna. Among the yogis all this is performed under the direction of a Guru. He makes magnetic passes of great power on the magnetic center of the coccyx of the yogi and the yogini to help them in the awakening of the Kundalini. In a Yoga text the yogis are advised to suspend the breath when in danger of falling into the orgasm. The book says: “If the disciple suspends his breath, his semen will not spill, even when the youngest and most attractive of women may embrace him.”

There exist in the Orient various magical positions to perform the sexual act called Maithuna. The yogini women have power to contract the vaginal muscles marvelously and avoid the orgasm and loss of the feminine liquor. Thus their snake awakens. The Tantric texts say that “even when the semen is about to be ejaculated, the yogi must retain it whatever the cost” —that is: the semen must not be spilled.

During this sexual act, the yogi enters ecstasy. With this type of sexual ecstasy Nirvana is attained. This is “riding the Tiger,” thus the yogis consider this sexual act called Maithuna. The sexual positions of the Maithuna are many and one chooses the one one wants. All those positions are illustrated in the “Kama Kalpa,” book of sex-yoga. Sometimes the yogi seated on the floor with legs crossed in the Oriental style performs the Maithuna.

The yogini sits upon his legs absorbing the phallus and crossing her legs behind the yogi in such form, that the yogi remains enveloped between her legs. At other times the inverted embrace is used, in which for very sacred and symbolic reasons, the yogini plays the active part; the yogi represents the spirit apparently immobile while she, the yogini, represents Nature which is in movement. At the supreme moment of the sexual act in which it approaches the orgasm, the yogini resorts to the most terrible and violent sexual contractions to avoid the spasm and discharge. This instant is taken advantage of by the yogis for the most fearful concentration and the most terrible meditation. Then they reach illumination, ecstasy, Samadhi.

In the West of the world, every matrimony can practice Maithuna without using those difficult positions of the East of the world. It is enough to pray to the Holy Spirit, asking for help before the practice and then performing the act in the Western style, the couple withdrawing before the orgasm; the semen must not be ejaculated, ever in life.

The fool scientists of black magic believe that this practice is harmful and can bring congestion of the prostate, urethra and seminal vesicles. This concept of the fool scientists is a solemn falsehood. We the gnostics practice this sexual act during the entire life and we have never suffered either from the prostate, or from the urethra, or from the seminal vesicles. There is no doubt that marriages will arrive at supreme happiness with Maithuna.

Thus is preserved the bliss of the Honeymoon during the entire life. With this act there is true happiness; the couple feels each time more desire to caress and to perform the sexual act without ever reaching weariness or boredom. With this sexual act divorces in the world will end. With this act we enter Nirvana. One can well pray and meditate back against back, in Oriental style, before the act, beseeching the Holy Spirit, supplicating him to grant us the bliss of receiving the fire.

It is false to assert that this damages the prostate and brings prostatitis. All those of us who have practiced Maithuna enjoy splendid health. In the beginning Maithuna is sacrifice. After some time, Maithuna is full sexual satisfaction and supreme bliss. All the theories that the fool scientists expound to combat Maithuna are absolutely false, and whoever lets himself be deceived by the reasons of the unreason of these tenebrous ones, will become an inhabitant of the Abyss, inevitably.

We are initiating the New Aquarian Era and Humanity will be divided into two bands: those who accept White Tantrism and those who define themselves for Black. That is, those who will accept spilling their semen and those who will not accept; those who will continue ejaculating and those who will not continue ejaculating: White Tantrics, Black Tantrics, that is all. Speaking in occultist language we shall say: White Magicians and Black Magicians. Those are the two bands of the New Aquarian Era.

Frederick Nietzsche in his work titled “Thus Spake Zarathustra,” says: Voluptuousness: for all those who despise the body, dressed in haircloth, it is their sting and their pillory, and they curse it as “world” all those who believe in netherworlds; because it laughs and mocks at all the heretics.

“Voluptuousness: for the rabble it is the slow fire that burns the worm-eaten wood and all the stinking rags; it is the furnace prepared for the dregs.”

“Voluptuousness: for free hearts, it is an innocent and free thing, the garden of happiness on Earth, the overflowing gratitude of every future present.”

“Voluptuousness: only for the withered ones a sweet poison; but for those who have a lion’s will, it is the greatest cordial and the reverently preserved wine of wines.”

Voluptuousness: the greatest symbolic happiness of a greater happiness and of a great hope. For to many is promised matrimony, and more than matrimony; and many things that are more strange to themselves than man is to woman, and who have fully understood how unknown they are to one another: man and woman.

Truly, love is a terribly divine cosmic phenomenon. When man officiates at the Altar of the supreme sexual sacrifice, he can in that instant direct all his voluptuousness to all the magnetic centers to make them vibrate, sparkle and shine forth. In those moments of supreme sexual voluptuousness we are like Gods terribly divine. The Sacred Scriptures say: “Ask and it shall be given to you, knock and it shall be opened to you.” Truly the supreme moment of sexual enjoyment is the precise instant to ask of the Third Logos —the Holy Spirit— all those longed-for powers. The tremendous power of the forces of Shiva —the Third Logos— turns us into Gods.

Much is said about meditation and ecstasy. Truly, the best hour for meditation and ecstasy is the hour of sexual voluptuousness. The sexual forces produce ecstasy. We must transform voluptuousness into ecstasy through meditation. During the sexual act, and after the act, but when voluptuousness is still vibrating, we pass through the sacrificius intelectus. Truly only the creative emotion can lead us to ecstasy.

Only one who is capable of weeping praying to the Third Logos, before the act, in the act and after the act, can enter Nirvana. Only one who is capable of intoxicating himself with voluptuousness, without spilling the semen, can become a terribly divine God. Those who learn to enjoy voluptuousness wisely, without spilling the semen, become absolutely happy beings.

The Perfect Matrimony is the basis of the Path of the Social Christ. Unfortunately, in modern life, marriage has become a frivolity far from wisdom; to this are due the failures, to this are due the divorces. It is necessary to study Gnosis; it is urgent to return to the mystical celebrations of the mysteries of love. It is urgent to learn to enjoy the delights of love. It is urgent to understand that with voluptuousness the angel is born within ourselves. Only the angels can enter the Kingdom.

White Tantrism has the science to end divorces and preserve the Honeymoon during the entire life. The home is the basis of a Christian society. White Tantrism, with its famous Maithuna, is the key of divine sexual happiness…

Chapter Six: THE FEMININE ENIGMA

Sixth Conference

REPLIES OF THE MASTER TO A GNOSTIC SISTER, ON THE OCCASION OF THE BOOK THAT SHE WAS GOING TO PUBLISH AND WHICH WAS TITLED: “THE FEMININE ENIGMA.”

(All the replies have been revised directly from the original recording.)

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

Samael Aun Weor, Avatar of the Aquarian Era, speaks to you; capital city of Mexico D.F. With the greatest pleasure I proceed to give response to the questions that sister Beatriz makes to me. I wish, above all, that her book come out very soon. The title that she says she is going to use seems to me extraordinary, marvelous: The Feminine Enigma.

  • Q. Venerable Master, what is your concept of woman, how do you define her?

A. Woman, undoubtedly, has the same rights as man. If we carefully study the word Elohim, which appears in the Bible, we shall find that it is a feminine name with a plural masculine ending. The exact translation of such name is: “Gods and Goddesses.” A religion without Goddesses finds itself halfway in materialistic atheism, because being Elohim, or rather, the Elohim, divine androgynous beings —that is, “Gods and Goddesses”—, if we suppress the feminine aspect of them, the result will be, then, the suppressed half in the name of divinity. Result: we would place ourselves halfway on the path of atheism. Goddesses cannot be suppressed from any religious cult, because divinity in itself is masculine and feminine at once.

Deducing from this, we can establish as corollary that woman has the same rights as man, and that the intimate Self-realization of the Being is not possible without the union of the separated parts: man and woman. Both, united through sex, constitute in themselves an ineffable creature, a creative Elohim.

  • Q. What do you think of those males who say, that “woman is only a uterus with legs”?

A. Woman could never be, as many mistakenly think, a mere “uterus with legs.” Obviously, those who speak thus demonstrate their lubricity, their degeneration, their passionate morbidity of sexual type. It is not amiss to remember with great emphasis that, besides the sexual center, there exist in the organism other centers. Let us remember the intellectual, located in the brain; the emotional, in the region of the navel; the motor center, in the upper part of the spinal column and the instinctive, in the lower part of the same.

So then, there does not only exist the center of generation in the feminine creature, unquestionably; there also exist other centers. Therefore, the definition given by some lustful ones, considering woman as a simple “uterus with legs,” besides being, as I already said, morbid and inhuman, also indicates haughtiness and pride in those males who have formulated it so clumsily.

  • Q. Is it karmic to possess feminine vehicle or feminine physical body?

A. It seems to me in no way that the feminine vehicle is karmic. The feminine body, undoubtedly, represents the passive creative aspect of the divine. I already said, and I repeat it again with complete meridian clarity, that Elohim is Gods and Goddesses. If the masculine aspect of Elohim has the right to have a physical body, also the feminine aspect of the same has the right to have a physical body of feminine-receptive type.

  • Q. Who has more animal passions: man or woman?

A. That there be animal passions is obvious, and both men and women have the same animal passions; take into account that the “Ego” is always “Ego.” Sometimes it will return, will come back, will reincorporate in a masculine body, and other times in feminine vehicles. Therefore, it is always the same, and if in one body it manifests its passions from the angle of view purely masculine, in another it expresses them from the point of view rigorously feminine.

  • Q. Does woman, like man, also have nocturnal pollutions?

A. Woman has nocturnal pollutions, although many do not believe it. It is clear, an erotic dream produces pollutions. Women who have passed through such nocturnal experiences know very well that the feminine pollution is a fact; and facts are facts and before facts we have to surrender…

  • Q. Can menstruation be considered as a Karma in woman?

A. Menstruation could never be karma; those who suppose so are radically mistaken. We must remember with great emphasis the people of ancient Lemuria, once situated between the raging waves of the Pacific Ocean; then all human beings were hermaphrodites. There is no doubt that those giants, those colossi —so beautifully represented by some sculptures of Easter Island—, had their menstruation. The feminine part ovulated, and those ova came into the world already fertilized by the masculine principle.

So, I repeat, the creatures all carried within themselves the masculine and feminine aspects. It was the epoch in which Humanity reproduced by the system of budding. It is the same system of birds: the creature is formed within the egg and after a certain time breaks the shell and comes into existence. The creature that was born fed itself with the “father-mother.”

That was the Golden Age, that was the epoch in which the rivers of pure water of life flowed with milk and honey; then there did not exist either mine or yours and everything was of everyone, and each one could eat from the tree of the neighbor without any fear. Then whoever knew how to play the lyre, shook the entire Universe with his most sublime melodies: the lyre of Orpheus had not yet fallen upon the pavement of the Temple broken to pieces.

When Humanity separated into opposite sexes, everything changed; that egg expelled by the ovary was born already without fertilization, since the masculine principle had divorced itself from the feminine. Then cooperation was needed to create. It is not amiss to remember the great pilgrimages that from remote places were made to the sacred Temples; the Kumars directed those mystical processions. The sexual act was verified within the paved courtyards of the Temples of Mysteries. Humanity reproduced by kriya-shakti, that is, will and yoga. No one committed the crime of extracting from his organism the sacred sperm; a spermatozoon could escape at any moment to fertilize a womb.

In that age there did not exist pain in childbirth; children were born without the mother having to suffer. Unfortunately, my dear brothers, the moment came in which people —ill-guided, let us say, by certain tenebrous principles that swarmed in the atmosphere of the world— dedicated themselves to animal fornication. It was then when people were expelled from the Temples of Mysteries. That remained as tradition in the Sacred Books; for that reason it is said that Adam and Eve were cast out of the Earthly Paradise.

Menstruation cannot be karma. The feminine aspect, separated from the masculine, continued menstruating, continued throwing the ovum to the exterior, only now without fertilization. It cannot be karma, then, a natural function…

  • Q. Did Count Dracula really exist? And if he exists or existed, what can you tell us about vampirism?

A. Much has been said about vampirism; it is said that many women are vampirized. I do not deny that there are current vampires; yes, there are. The Draculas existed and will continue to exist, but what is normal today, what abounds everywhere —here, there and yonder—, is that which is commonly called Harpies. We must remember the adventures of the Trojans with those famous “sorcerers” of which Virgil, the poet of Mantua, told us in the work titled “The Aeneid.” There is no doubt that when such Black Magicians, that when such “sorcerers” place their body in the state of Jinas, they can transport themselves to various corners of the Earth. If they have enemies, they approach them and bite them. The bite appears later as a black stain on this or that part of the body, where it was bitten.

So then, properly it is not a matter of vampirism, but of “sorcerers,” of Harpies, that is all… That those are called “witches”? It is something very common, and anyone knows it…

  • Q. Does woman have seminal liquor, like man? If so, what name does it receive?

A. The feminine seminal liquor is crystalline; we could also denominate it: “Liquid glass, flexible, malleable.” It will not carry, naturally, millions of spermatozoa as in the concrete case of males, but it does carry, within itself, vital principles: hormones, forces, extraordinary substances. There is no doubt that woman, with the orgasm, loses incalculable riches: calories, Prana, electric and magnetic principles, Sexual Hydrogen SI-12 —through which it is possible to create the Higher Existential Bodies of the Being—.

  • Q. Why is it not convenient that woman perform practices of Transmutation, either as single or as married, when she is in the period, in the stage of menstruation?

A. It is not convenient, in any way, that woman transmute her creative energies during the epoch of ovulation; that is, during the epoch of menstruation. We must bear in mind that this is a very delicate process, and that certain substances could rise to the brain and cause very grave damage.

  • Q. Is it advisable that woman perform her practices of transmutation, using classical music, for example?

A. It is possible to do transmutations with the ineffable music of the great Masters; thus one can also sublimate. Let us remember the Nine Symphonies of Beethoven; The Magic Flute of Mozart, which reminds us of an ancient Egyptian Initiation, etc. It is also possible to sublimate the creative energies with healthy sports, like swimming, tennis, etc., etc., etc. In any case, to sublimate is not harmful. The Vajroli Mudra for transmuting and sublimating turns out at bottom transcendental, divine.

However, one should not abuse Vajroli either; the Masters who have passed beyond sex only transmute by means of Vajroli each month. Those who have not reached those heights, those who find themselves in the first scales of “chelaship,” the Initiates, simply should practice, at most, once per week; that is my advice.

  • Q. Could a woman transmute her creative energies involuntarily?

A. That some persons transmute involuntarily?… That would only be possible if they listened to sweet symphonies, if they came to have ecstasies, like those of Teresa of Jesus, or of Francis of Assisi.

  • Q. What is the cause of the peristaltic movements, or palpitations in the feminine sexual organ, when it is excited?

A. Unquestionably, the feminine creative organs, during sexual excitation, have certain palpitations. There is no doubt that they obey the systole and diastole of the “cardias.” Let us remember that the masculine phallus also has that type of palpitations. Now, if we think that the clitoris, the specific sexual center of the creative organs of woman, is masculine, we shall then explain to ourselves what is really the peristaltic movement in the feminine creative organs.

  • Q. To perform the practices of transmutation, is excitation absolutely necessary?

A. Violent sexual excitation is not necessary, in order to be able to perform the processes of transmutation. Those who think thus only seek, at bottom, the satisfaction of lust.

  • Q. The cold or ardent temperament, in what way does it influence in this matter of intimate Self-realization, especially in woman?

A. There is no need to be passionate —a woman— in order to be able to self-realize, nor cold as ice. As is vulgarly said: “Neither so far inside that you burn yourself, nor so far outside that you freeze yourself.” Perfect balance is needed; we must never violate the Law of the Balance. That is all!

  • Q. What is the real cause of frigidity in woman?

A. Many times a woman is frigid, simply because of her sexual constitution, by the conformation of her organism, etc. But, if that “Ego” disincarnates and returns with a masculine body, it could be violent, from the sexual point of view. Or vice versa; if it returns, if it reincorporates again with a feminine one, but healthy and strong, it could express itself in lustful form. Understood?

  • Q. Why are very many women not fertile?

A. The infertility of woman has as cause causorum, that which is called “karma.” Women who in the past did not know how to fulfill their duty as mothers, in their new existences are born sterile. Women who never wanted children, or who rejected them, upon returning, upon coming back, upon reincorporating in feminine vehicles, have to suffer the pain, the moral suffering of sterility.

  • Q. From a rigorously gnostic point of view, what can you tell us about modern woman?

A. There exist epochs of masculine plus and epochs of feminine plus, in the course of history. Well we know that for 42 years the masculine sex governs, and for 42, the feminine sex; that is, the complete sexual cycle is 84 years. When the masculine pole of Uranus is oriented toward the Sun, the force that rules there —in Uranus—, comes, descends, makes the masculine sex prevail, command. It is not amiss to remember, for example, the epoch of the pirates, the epochs of the great exploits of the males, of the great wars.

We must also remember that when the feminine pole of Uranus is oriented toward the Sun, the force that comes from there raises woman and makes her impose herself and command. Precisely now, at these instants, we are in a feminine plus: woman is in the Government, in Banking, in Society, in Science, etc., etc., etc. Unfortunately, human beings do not know how to know with exactness when it is that the masculine sex is commanding and when the feminine sex. One must know how to take advantage of those energies for our own intimate Self-realization of the Being.

In the very human being, in the very “humanoid,” there exist 42 years of strong masculine activity, and 42 feminine. This means that if an individual, for example, was born during the masculine plus, that is, in epochs in which the planet Uranus vibrated in positive form, undoubtedly he will have a tremendous sexual power during those 42 years. But when the feminine aspect comes, instead of languishing sexually, instead of weakening, he is even stronger by the stimulus of the contrary pole. There you have what is the masculine and feminine force alternating throughout the marvelous rhythm of the great Universe…

In these times woman is commanding, is governing, and will continue to command for a long time still… The moment will arrive when her opportunity will have passed. When that occurs, the male will again take the scepter of power. That is all I can say, at this moment, with respect to woman…

  • Q. Why do many gnostic students fear Card 15 of the Tarot? Why is the Devil there, the Typhon Baphomet, represented with breasts, as if he were also androgyne?

A. Well, let us speak a little about Card 15 of the Tarot. I feel pleasure in speaking of said card.

I do not know why people judge Typhon Baphomet so badly. However, the gnostics never ignore that phrase that says: “I believe in the Mystery of the Baphomet and of the Abraxas.”

Card 15 of the Tarot (the Devil) is profoundly significant. Let us remember that it is found after Cards 13 and 14. Unquestionably, 13 corresponds to the death of the “myself,” of the “self-same,” of the “Ego.” Undoubtedly, Card 14 speaks to us of that Temperance, of that Chastity, of that perfection that result from the death of the “Ego.” Then comes 15, which would correspond, inevitably, to the Primordial Androgyne, to the Mystery of the Baphomet and of the Abraxas, to the Devil —word, this latter, that horrifies pious people, but that constitutes something extraordinary for the Sage—.

In the Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Paris, there appears a raven; it gazes fixedly toward the corner of the Temple, toward that place where the cornerstone is, the Master Stone, the Stone of Truth. Such stone has a form, yes, terrible, with horns that horrify; the Devil, dread of many pseudo-esotericists and pseudo-occultists… The medieval Alchemists said: “Burn your books and whiten the brass”…

Why does the black raven look toward the Devil? Because we must die in ourselves. It is necessary that we disintegrate the inhuman elements we carry within; it is urgent that we reduce them to ashes, to cosmic dust. Thus will it be how we can “whiten the brass,” that brass or copper represented in the Morning Star. We already all know, with complete clarity, that on a day not very distant, that evening star was also called Lucifer, the “Maker of Light.”

If we manage that everything that is inhuman die in us, we shall whiten the brass, we shall whiten the Devil. That Devil is the reflection of the Third Logos within ourselves, here and now. In the past he was the most luminous, most resplendent Archangel of infinite space. He, in himself, is —let us say— the most important part of our Being; he is our very Being, who long ago was luminous, resplendent, marvelous; the most excellent Archangel. Unfortunately, when we fell into animal generation, he was precipitated toward the Avernus. Now he is black as coal. It is we ourselves who have him in that state of misery.

Now you will explain to yourselves, my dear brothers, why Lucifer appears in “The Divine Comedy” placed there, in the heart of the Earth, weeping with his six eyes —that six repeated, or that number six, three times, we have 666: the Great Harlot—; yes, he weeps because we made him so as he is, we made him black as coal, and now we must whiten him. That would only be possible by disintegrating the inhuman elements we carry within, disintegrating our psychological errors, putting an end to the “myself,” to the “self-same,” dying here and now. But if we continue with our errors, if we walk continually along the path of fornication, of hatred, of lust, of envy, of hypocrisy, of pride, etc., etc., he will continue in disgrace…

He is the Prometheus chained to the hard rock of sex, that Prometheus who suffered horribly and whose entrails a vulture devoured. Yes, the “vulture of desire” has him tied to existence. We must have pity for that intimate, particular Devil that we carry within. To whiten him, then, is urgent, my estimable sister and brothers who listen to this tape.

It is necessary that we make him shine. If for something the book by Giovanni Papini titled: “The Devil” is worthwhile, it is because that man came to intuit what is the Mystery of the Baphomet. He said: “If God is pure Love and forgives all creatures, why could He not forgive the Devil?” Such words earned him, then, excommunication; he was the “spoiled child” of the Vatican.

Well, we do not believe in an anthropomorphic Devil, seated there behind the clouds, hurling rays and bolts against this sad human anthill. No, my dear brothers, we think of a personal Devil, of an intimate Devil, of a Devil who must shine again, sparkle, gleam…

“Whiten the brass and burn your books.” It is worth more to whiten the brass than all the theories written and to be written. When the Devil is whitened, he will fuse with our Soul, will fuse with our Spirit, and then we shall become something distinct, different: into Archangels of Light, into Lords of Light —for that reason Lucifer is called “Maker of Light”—.

I do not see why, then, that divine androgyne is labeled as something contemptible. Card 15 of the Tarot appears after the 13 —the death of the “Ego,” of the “I,” of the “myself”—; after 14 —the man who has acquired Temperance, Virtue, Perfection—. So then, that Card 15 is the one who returns again to shine, is the divine androgyne, is the Devil transformed into Lucifer, is the “whitened brass”…

  • Q. What can you tell us of those persons who despise woman, who underestimate her?

A. Those who despise the feminine sex, who consider it inferior, march along the path of error, because Elohim is Gods and Goddesses. The feminine aspect of God cannot be despised.

  • Q. What must be the fundamental preoccupation of woman, in regard to her inner life?

A. It is necessary that woman concern herself with the awakening of consciousness. It is not amiss to remember that in a remote past, due to a certain mistake of some Sacred Individuals, Humanity developed the abominable Kundartiguator organ. Later, when that organ was eliminated from the human species, there remained within each organism something abominable. I refer to all those inhuman elements that altogether constitute the “Ego,” the “myself,” the “self-same”; that is, the inhuman elements that remained in the human animal organisms are simply the bad consequences of the abominable Kundartiguator organ, and within those bad consequences is bottled up the Essence. Now you will understand why the Essence, the consciousness, slumbers profoundly.

However, the consciousness of human beings has not always been as asleep as now; in the beginning their sleep was vague, but after the submersion of the Atlantean Continent people remained profoundly hypnotized by the sinister power of the abominable Kundartiguator organ. It is clear that the “Ego,” the “I,” is the result of such organ, and since he is asleep in himself, and is subjective, the consciousness remained processing within him in subjective form.

If I say that Humanity is hypnotized, I am not saying something mistaken; however, people do not realize that they find themselves in a state of hypnosis. People believe they are awake, and that is their great error. They only come to know that hypnotism exists when it flows, when the hypnotic force flows more lightly, when it concentrates on a determined subject —in a hypnotic session, for example—; outside of that instant, people ignore that they find themselves in a state of hypnosis, of profound sleep.

When we come to the world, upon being born, we form a new personality. Later we enter a school and, as is natural, we are educated according to the customs of the epoch; we are instructed, we are taught all kinds of prejudices, etc. In all that, with all that ballast, we come to establish in us a false consciousness. But the Essence, in itself, remains slumbering there, in the depths. In it are deposited the data we need for the intimate Self-realization of the Being; but it remains relegated —I repeat—, and even classified as “subconscious,” and only is taken as conscious, authentic, real, true, all that baggage of theories we carry within, all this false education received, all these prejudices of race, of caste and of nation.

So then, in us, in each of us, has been formed a “double” consciousness. In esotericism, the consciousness is called Zoostat —word written with the letters Z-O-O-S-T-A-T. It is sad to know that a Zoostat is divided in two. It is also very true that Nature, adapting itself, had to accommodate two currents of blood in our organism —two systems, to speak more clearly—. The first is that which manifests during the state of vigil: the blood fills certain vessels. The second is that which expresses during the hours of sleep, in which some different vessels are filled by the blood. So then, there are like two systems of circulation in us, in accord with the double functionalism of a Zoostat…

We need to awaken, “rend the veil,” put an end to everything that is not the Being; put an end to all prejudices of race, of family, of nation; with all this false education received, with all this false consciousness. The “Ego” must be destroyed, reduced to ashes, so that the Essence may express in us. In it are contained the data we need for intimate Self-realization. That is the vital, that is the urgent, that is what cannot be deferred, what cannot be postponed.

Woman is called to awaken; she must concern herself with it and struggle so that man may also awaken. No one is closer to man than woman; therefore she must fight in order to help the male, who in these times finds himself so degenerated.

With the marvelous creative energy, we can create the Higher Existential Bodies of the Being. Much has been said about the Astral Body. Unfortunately the current “humanoids” do not possess that marvelous vehicle. Commonly, and for that, let us say, of convenience, it is said: “I depart in Astral Body,” etc., etc., etc., but those astral departures are departures in the “Ego” —it is the “I,” the “myself,” who replaces the “Astral Body,” to travel through the infinite spaces—.

It becomes necessary to create the authentic and legitimate Astral Body, and that is only possible through the Mercury of Secret Philosophy, learning to transmute that marvelous force. The true name of the Astral Body is the Kesdjan Body; such word is written with the letters: K-E-S-D-J-A-N. Those who know how to consciously transmute the sperm into energy —men and women— can create the Kesdjan Body. One knows that one has such body when one can travel with it, consciously and positively.

Much later it will be necessary to create the authentic Body of Objective Reason, that is, the Mental Body: an extraordinary vehicle that only comes to take form by means of Sexual Hydrogen SI-12. Finally, one will have to create the Body of the Egoaitoorasian Will of the Being, that is, the Causal Body. Such bodies, I repeat, are only created through the transmutation of sperm into energy. When one comes to possess such vehicles, when one truly has them, then one can incarnate, in oneself, one’s animic principle, one’s Real Inner Being, to become an authentic man, a man in truth. Within the word “man” I include, naturally, also woman, just as within the word “Elohim” —God— Goddesses are also included.

So then, my dear brothers, to work intensively with the creative energy of the Third Logos is undeferrable, unpostponable, if it is that one day we truly long to attain the final liberation… I have spoken to you…

Chapter Seven: QUESTIONS FROM THE GNOSTIC LADIES

Seventh Conference

MADE BY GNOSTIC STUDENTS, AFTER THE “CONFERENCE TO WOMAN”

(The questions and answers of this conference have not been revised since the part corresponding to the questions is not in the original recording.)

SAMAEL AUN WEOR

Now, here, we are open to the talk and in general to the dialogue. All the sisters who have questions to ask, can ask them with the most complete freedom…

  • Q. Master, they told me that the only person who could cure me, was you…

A. Well, we shall give the help in psychic form: every night you concentrate on me, at one o’clock in the morning, and at that hour you light three small candles and make the concentration. I shall feel the telepathic call and shall give the help. Amen.

Let us continue with the doctrinal questions. I understand that all want to ask. Begin, then, by making your questions; for all there will be the answer.

  • Q. I want to make a question based on the Bible. According to the Bible, there was a woman called Esther. It struck me much that she had to suffer much to be accepted by the King as wife…

A. Yes; truly, that is the account of Esther in the Bible, in which at last she came to be taken as wife by the King, is it not so? Well, and this was because she made herself worthy of being taken as wife. Of course, that is a matter, at bottom, esoteric. Really, the woman who eliminates, or the Soul who eliminates the inhuman elements, finally weds with the Real Inner deep Being, who is the King. She had, let us say, to make effort, to suffer, before she could be received by King Ahasuerus. Thus it was that Esther came to be wife of the King…

  • Q. Master, in an ancient Gnostic Ritual the following is said: “You shall gather goods, provisions, women and aromas…” What is the esoteric meaning of that phrase?

A. That is completely symbolic. It means that there is the need to triumph totally, to become a triumpher; to know how to handle the things of the world with exactness, with propriety; to dominate what is above and what is below. Precisely, Hermes Trismegistus, the thrice-great God Ibis of Thoth, said: “Rise from the earth to heaven, and then, on return, return again to the earth and rise again, and thus you will have power over what is above and over what is below. You will penetrate into every subtle thing and also you will manage to conquer every gross thing.” So then, the key of power is in that. For that reason it is said: “You shall gather goods, provisions, women and aromas,” that is, learn to handle “what is above and what is below” with mastery.

  • Q. Does this phrase apply also to woman?

A. Well in the case of woman it also applies the same, because the ritual is not going to tell you to “gather men of all kinds,” to “become powerful,” is it? Simply it is the same: learn to handle, with idoneity, “what is above and what is below.” Any other question?

  • Q. What effect can be caused, in a person who works as a bioanalyst, by the fluids that emanate from blood, and what happens to a person who donates or who receives the blood of another?

A. Well always, the Bioanalyst does not fail to become contaminated a little with the psychic fluids of blood, which in one form or another comes to relate him —psychically— with the owners or providers of such blood. Frederick Nietzsche said: “Write with blood and you will learn that blood is spirit.” Faust, Dr. Johann Faust, enchanter and magician, said: “This is a very singular fluid…” When one has received blood from another person, one remains psychically connected to that person; the Karma of that person even comes to be reflected in one.

  • Q. The Karma you indicate, is it reflected upon the donor or upon the one who receives it?

A. In both, because a magnetic thread is established between the donor and the one who receives it. So, then, it is lamentable to remain connected to another person, to remain participating, up to a certain point, in the Karma of another, being the reflection of the Karma of another. It is better to avoid blood transfusions. The blood examiners, then, always receive the vibrations of the blood currents and in some way connect themselves with persons with whom they should not have related themselves.

  • Q. How could it be done, Master, so that that Bioanalyst can cleanse himself a little?

A. Well only by separating himself from that class of work; that is the logical. There are other jobs, not only that one. Let’s see, sisters, what other question?…

  • Q. Master, I have a very personal question. I suffer continually from headaches; now, at this moment, I am making a very great effort to remain here. I would like to know, what could I do?

A. It is clear that those headaches, thus, forever and ever, amen, are due to damage of the mental part —of the psychological-mental part—. Possibly, in some past existence you used the mind mistakenly, and now you have to go through that suffering. That is karmic. There is the need to be cured, in this case, from the psychic point of view. Peter will be invoked and he will come at the call —I refer to Peter, the apostle of Christ, who is suitable in this class of work—.

At the time of falling asleep, every night, you will concentrate on Peter, and in the name of Christ you will ask him to come to heal your mind. The work has to be long, arduous and difficult, but within some time, if you have not given up, your mind will be completely healthy. With the habitual procedures of the doctors it is difficult that your mind can become healthy. The doctors do not manage to cure that…

  • Q. Master, I also feel many pains in my bones…

A. Those bone pains, all that, is pure rheumatism; it is no more. That is cured, well, with petroleum and burnt salt. The salt is roasted in a frying pan, and then mixed with a little petroleum, and with a cloth you give yourself daily massages wherever you feel the pain…

Just a moment, what I am seeing is that the sisters are deviating the matter to a medical consultation. If we are going to make a medical consultation, the sisters are going to remain without being able to ask anything. It is not just, it is not just…!

  • Q. Master, what does the mantram O AO KAKOF NA KHONSA mean?

A. Those are mantrams for transmutation; they serve man and serve woman. They are pronounced thus: OOOO… AAAAOOOO… KAAAKOF… NAAAAKOOOONSAAAA…

The vowel “O” makes the masculine and feminine gonads vibrate, and therefore produces transmutations. Even with “X-Rays” the gonads can be observed, both in man and in woman, when one is vocalizing the letter “O.”

The “KA” is marvelous: arcs are formed, similar to those of the Temples of Yucatan —seen, naturally, with the sense of psychological Self-observation, or Clairvoyance—. In the syllable “KOF,” the “K” of the Temples of Yucatan is again used; it strikes the gonads again for the transmutation.

“NA”: makes one exhale the breath.

“KOOON”: strikes the gonads again.

“SAAA”: the breath.

Total, that it is a whole magical machinery to make the creative energy rise inward and upward. It is vocalized, very especially, when one works in the Ninth Sphere. Those who are working in the Forge of the Cyclops can —during the chemical copulation— pronounce such mantrams and as consequence or corollary, sexual transmutation will be realized in them; they will avoid falling sexually, will be able to conjure the danger of spilling the Vase of Hermes Trismegistus, the thrice-great God Ibis of Thoth. Any other question?

  • Q. A lady who is gnostic and who is married to one who is not gnostic, can she be Isis?

A. Why not? What crime has the poor one committed? Because the gentleman is not gnostic, she is now not going to serve as Isis?…

  • Q. It is understood, Master, that if the male is not gnostic, then he fornicates upon her…

A. So what? The whole point is that she does not fornicate; the whole point is that she has sufficient will power not to reach the “orgasm” of physiology…

  • Q. Master, the mantram KANDIL BANDIL R, can it also be used in transmutation?

A. I shall tell you: a few years ago —many years back—, I was talking with the Angel Aroch, Angel of Command, and it occurred to me to ask him, face to face, eye to eye, for some mantram for the Kundalini. I said to him: “Master, I ask of you a mantram, the most powerful that exists in the entire Universe to awaken the Kundalini.”

Then he answered me: “With great pleasure,” and sang the mantram. He sang it thus: KAAAANDIIIILLL… BAAAANDIIIILLL… RRRRRRRRRRRR…

Well, that is the most powerful mantram that exists in the entire Cosmos to awaken the Kundalini. Of course, it should be used in the Forge of the Cyclops. The couples who are working in the Ninth Sphere must use it each time they feel the need to chant it, and in that form the awakening of the Sacred Serpent is achieved very soon.

  • Q. Venerable Master, is that mantram used before ending the practice of the Arcanum, that is, during the practice?

A. Well during the practice, before the practice and after the practice… Let’s see, what other question?

  • Q. Master, do you have knowledge of a clinic located in Mexico where they say they cure with the help of extraterrestrials?

A. Those are lies! The reality is that while one has not destroyed the “Ego,” it is not possible to enter into contact with the Higher Intelligences of the Universe. So, then, let us leave illusions; let us think of disintegrating the “Ego,” and once we have turned it to ash, the consciousness will awaken and we shall enter into contact with the Ineffable Beings.

  • Q. Master, the practice of the death of the “Ego” is very difficult for me. I try to do it, but when I believe I have more or less comprehended one of the “I’s,” suddenly I do not know whether I am doing it badly. I understand the theoretical part well, but in doing the meditation, in trying to comprehend the “Ego” I become confused. Perhaps you could give us an orientation in this regard.

A. Well, frankly, I do not see difficulty in that; I do not see any problem. One must observe oneself throughout the day, to see what one finds. Suddenly one has an outburst of anger, of rage, and then one comes to discover that one has the “I” of anger. One must try to comprehend it, to reflect on it —to try, let us say, to relive that scene of anger— and once one has comprehended it, then one must disintegrate it; one concentrates on the Divine Mother Kundalini and “cries out to her,” and “cries out to her,” and “cries out to her,” until at last she disintegrates the “I” of anger. What work does that take? I do not see any work. Do you see work? I don’t!

  • Q. Master, but there is one thing: There are various “I’s” that bother us, and one may manifest in violent form and another very subtly. Which of them must one disintegrate first?

A. Well here, in this matter of the disintegration of the “I’s,” there must be no preferences; the law must be for all, whatever it costs. One works on the smallest and the biggest, and both —see— must be put “to the cracklings.” Take one and grab the other; do not complicate your mind so much. Simplify a little and onward, and “there we’ll meet…”

  • Q. Venerable Master, how are the “I’s” killed? If they are so many, to which of them must one pay attention?

A. There one has to march, let us say, with the one one discovers, without so much “killing” the head, and “forward”; study it, comprehend it, and then, well, beg the Divine Mother Kundalini to give it the “cracklings,” and ready!

  • Q. Must we know some technique, for the comprehension of the “I”?

A. No, for that there is no need of so much technique. When you start to think over there, let us say, in anything of life, well you do not need to have technique. When one is interested in something, one is interested, and if one is interested in knowing why one has anger, one does not need so much technique; one only wants to know, and one has the right, besides. So that, then, after one is interested, one comes to meditate in such a natural form, that one does not even think about it, that is, one must not start to think about how one is going to meditate.

One is interested in comprehending an “I,” and that’s it; to know why it expresses itself in a determined manner and in a determined moment, and why on other occasions it does not express itself, etc., etc., etc. So that when one has already comprehended it, one then asks the Mother, Devi Kundalini, to give it the “cracklings,” and she gives it. For that one does not need to be “tan-tan…”

  • Q. Master, is there any remedy to quit smoking?

A. To quit smoking? Well, man, the best remedy is to analyze that matter of the cigarette; to try to comprehend it profoundly, to sit there to meditate on the cigarette, what it serves for, what effects it produces in the organism, etc. Once one has comprehended that the cigarette is useless and that the only thing one gets with it is a cancer in the lungs, or in the throat —or in the best of cases that the lungs become filled with nicotine, get broken or torn and remain like a broken bellows— well, then, one proposes to oneself to disintegrate the “I” of the cigarette: one asks the Divine Mother Kundalini to please turn it to ashes. At last, one of those many days, that “Ego” disappears, and after it has disappeared, the vice disappears too.

I cannot explain how you do to smoke, I do not understand… It comes to my memory when I was a boy: as I saw the great gentlemen who smoked, I said to myself: “I want, too, to be a great gentleman.” I was a “snot-nosed” boy of 14 years, but I already wanted to be a gentleman. I saw them blow smoke like chimneys from their noses and mouths, and then I said to myself: “Those are the men; I have to be already, too, a horrible great.” I bought the pack —those, of cigars— and the more I tried to smoke, the more horrible it seemed to me, and I struggled to catch the vice, because as I saw the gentlemen so serious, with a cigar in their mouth, I said: “These gentlemen are very respectable; I have also to come to be most respectable, to follow the very worthy example that these people are giving us, the boys”…

Well, thus I thought of the great people. But useless; the vice could not enter me. The more I smoked, the more horrible it seemed to me. The day came when I took a pack of cigarettes and threw it thus, against the ground. I said: “I was not born for this. To the devil with such cigars!”

I cannot explain how you do to smoke, I do not understand! Would you give me some little classes there?

  • Q. You said today, in the conference directed to woman, that males are degenerated and that only woman can help them. In what way can the ladies help the male?

A. Well, I said that during the metaphysical copulation, in the Ninth Sphere, woman must help him, encourage him so that the male learns to transmute the sexual energies; give him spirits, tell him: “Be a man, transmute, do not spill the Vase of Hermes, do not be silly, transmute, have strength!” Well, if the man is not frightened, perhaps in the long run he will transmute.

I am going to tell you something very amusing… It happened that XX came to ask for the hand of one of my daughters, when she was still a single girl. I asked him some terrible questions; I said: “Do you love her?” “Yes, I adore her.” “Very well, would you be capable of giving for her even the last drop of blood?” The man went pale. “Would you be capable of going to the firing wall for her?” “What, to the firing?” “Yes, to the wall…!” Well, that poor man who came to hear such words from the father-in-law…

Miraculously he did not run; what I can assure you was that he went pale. Days later, my daughter assured that he adored her, but that he had not dared to answer because, really, it seemed to him that the matter was not so much. Then I thought of not giving my daughter as wife, since the answer had not been affirmative to me and I could not entrust my daughter to someone who was not willing to go to the firing wall.

Well, but then, the Master Litelantes, a little more measured, says to me: “One must have patience with the poor man. Later he will love her, will adore her. They begin with a little affection and afterward that becomes a fire…” “In those conditions, yes —I said—; if that is so, well let them marry, let them marry, let them marry and let them marry.” And they married! Now, “I got myself” a good one; there, today I have a number of grandchildren…

  • Q. Master, what can one do when a defect is manifested in another person? How could one help her?

A. Look, one has to concern oneself with one’s own and dissolve them, because if one has not dissolved the psychological defects one has, how could one do, then, to eliminate the psychological defects of others? Let us first think of ourselves, that we have to disintegrate this or that error, and once we have achieved it, then yes we can give ourselves the luxury of helping others.

  • Q. When all the “centers” are functioning simultaneously and in mistaken form, how can we do to control them?

A. I am going to tell you that there are five important centers: first, intellectual center; second, emotional center; third, motor center; fourth, instinctive center; fifth, sexual center. There also exist seven levels of men —and of women too, since here I see only ladies—: first, the man, let us say, merely instinctive; second, the emotional; third, the intellectual; fourth, the balanced man; fifth, the one who has fabricated his Astral Body; sixth, the one who has fabricated his Mental Body; seventh, the authentic man, the one who has fabricated his Causal Body.

The “Tower of Babel” is formed by men 1, 2 and 3, that is, the instinctive, the emotional and the intellectual. Those people do not understand each other; the intellectual does not understand the instinctive; the instinctive does not understand the intellectual; the emotional does not understand the instinctive; the intellectual does not understand the emotional, and the emotional does not understand the intellectual either; that is the “Tower of Babel.”

So that, for example, if an intellectual man speaks to an instinctive person, he does not understand her; if an intellectual speaks to an emotional person, neither do they understand each other. Persons 1, 2 and 3 have formed the “Tower of Babel,” have filled the world with misfortunes, have led it to several world wars; they are a calamity for the planet Earth.

There exists a fourth level of persons. I refer, in clear form, to the persons who have already come to balance all the five centers of the machine. When all the five centers of the machine are perfectly balanced, one can control all the centers. While one has not reached level number 4, one cannot achieve any control over the centers of the organic machine, and to reach level number 4, one needs to eliminate from the human machine all the heavy “I’s,” which are: pride, conceit, vanity, egoism, hatred, jealousy, self-importance, self-sufficiency, vanity, etc.

If one manages to eliminate those so heavy psychic aggregates, a Permanent Center of Gravity is established within our psyche. With such Conscious Center of Gravity established within our psyche, the balance of all the centers of the machine is also established and then he can control them at will. Before, it is not possible.

  • Q. Master, what does “three times born” mean?

A. “Three times born?” Well, one may have passed through the three purifications and be called “three times born.” If one has passed through the first purification, one is “one time born”; if one has passed through the second purification, one is “two times born…” “Three times born” is the Resurrected or Perfect Master. Any other question?

  • Q. How does a child under age, ten years old for example, do to eliminate a psychological defect?

A. Well, let the boy keep growing and then you give him explanations about that; because to a child of ten years the problem you are posing is very “high up.”

  • Q. If the child comprehends that he has a psychological defect and invokes his Divine Mother Kundalini to eliminate it, but at the same time says: «Mom, and all those who are in the Gnosis are grown up and have not eliminated the “I”»…

A. For that reason it is that one must die in oneself, pass through the “buddhist annihilation,” make the consciousness more objective. When you really have destroyed the “Ego,” none of that will happen to you.

  • Q. Master, it happens to me that when confronting a person who has a damaged psyche, who is bad, I feel a current through the whole body and like a “tingling” comes up to me, from the legs upward.

A. All that is subjectivism! Why does that not happen to me? Well, simply, when one has annihilated the “Ego,” that no longer happens to one; that happens to one when one has “Ego,” but if he disintegrates it nothing of that happens to him; he lives normally, he is a normal person.

  • Q. Master, can all the “I’s” be disintegrated in a single existence?

A. If one dedicates oneself in a single existence to destroying the “I’s,” one disintegrates them. The Divine Mother Kundalini has terrible powers. What one has to do is develop the sense of psychological Self-observation. Every hour, every minute, every second, one must be observing oneself. From moment to moment, from instant to instant, it happens that the hidden defects we carry surface in spontaneous form —when one least thinks of it, they already surface, through one, whether jealousy, anger, hatred, pride, conceit, etc.— Once one has discovered, in oneself, that one has a defect, one must not justify it, must not evade it; one must, simply, dedicate oneself to working on it, analyzing it, studying it, comprehending it, doing the dissection on it to know what it has inside, what is its origin, where it comes from, and when one has integrally comprehended that defect, then, what must one do?: concentrate inside, on the Divine Mother Kundalini, beseech her, beg her, weep to her, asking her to disintegrate that comprehended defect, and she will do so. This must be done every day, daily, with patience, until the defect is turned to ashes. Understood?

  • Q. Master, when someone is at every step, at every moment, weeping, what is that due to?

A. Well that is pure morbid sentimentalism. That class of weeping sentimentalisms is not due to anything other than some inhuman psychic aggregates that one carries within. Those psychic aggregates or “I’s” are related to the negative emotions. However, I am not coming here to pronounce against tears, no. What one must know is that there exist negative emotions and positive emotions. It is obvious that with positive emotions one also weeps, and moreover, one must weep, because to be able to eliminate any psychological defect one has to weep much, one has to pass, truly, through great emotional crises; if “water does not boil at a hundred degrees,” what has to be cooked is not cooked, nor is what has to be eliminated eliminated.

Thus, also, if one truly does not pass through great emotional crises, one does not manage to disintegrate those defects and does not manage to crystallize the divine faculties of the Soul. So, then, to weep is a luxury, but one thing is to weep truly, in positive, dynamic form —from repentance for one’s own psychological errors—, and another is that negative sentimentalism, weeping, that leads to no conclusion. Understood?

  • Q. Are the “I’s” worked on in the physical world, or also in the astral, mental and causal world?

A. Everything must be worked on here and now. There, little by little, one advances and discovers them more and more and more; that is, one has to go on deepening, removing layer after layer. As one advances within oneself, one discovers very many defects that one did not even remotely suspect one had.

  • Q. Does the “Ego” also produce vibrations?

A. Everything in the Universe vibrates; only that the vibrations of the “Ego” are really negative one hundred percent. Any other question?

  • Q. What karmic effect is produced in a professional of Law, when on the legal plane he liberates or divorces a couple from their marriage?

A. Well I am going to tell you: currently, we are struggling much to cure a lawyer who used his mind badly. The poor one, well, is half “crazy.” He is a man of formidable, extraordinary intellectual capacity, and these days he is on the eve of disincarnation; his intellectual values have run out and that is the result. Understood? That is, the bad use of the mind produces Karma. When one does not know how to use the mind, in just form, well illnesses come to the mind. Whoever proceeds thus, as you are saying, well obviously fills himself with Karma.

  • Q. What happens to a couple that has problems and that seeks solution in divorce?

A. Well, man, that is negative, because Jesus the Christ stipulated, in the Gospel, when it is that one must divorce. Divorce is only just in case of adultery, and if the woman goes off there with anyone, “just because,” and leaves the poor husband abandoned, or simply if she “takes up” with another man, she commits adultery. In that case, then, divorce is licit, but that they are going to divorce “for incompatibility of characters…” In the United States, for example, a woman divorced the man because he “snored”; to divorce thus, in that form, well simply it is a crime, and the lawyer who makes such divorces, undoubtedly will pay Karma.

The point is that if for one the wife turned out a problem, or if for the wife the husband turned out a problem, well there is no remedy but to put up with it. Why? Because marriage, the home, is a marvelous “psychological gymnasium.”

  • Q. Master, and in the case that the man gravely injures the woman, that he attacks her honor and her dignity?

A. Well, even in that case, if the woman is sufficiently intelligent, she takes advantage of the man to self-discover herself. Let’s see: What was it that injured her? Self-love? Pride? What?

  • Q. Well, in the specific case that he tells her that he is unfaithful and that he “brings” men into the house, and all that series of questions…

A. And then, of course, she feels offended in her dignity, in her honor. Come, come…! With that class of thoughts there would be no “psychological gymnasiums.” And, how would you do to self-discover yourselves if you have no “gymnasium”? The most difficult “gymnasiums” are useful for the self-discovery of oneself, because I repeat: in those “gymnasiums” the hidden defects surface spontaneously, and if we are alert and vigilant like the watchman in time of war, then we see them.

How lovely it is when one discovers that one has the “I” of self-love, because another person wounded him! Then one can give oneself the luxury of turning it to dust. How lovely it is when one discovers that one has the “I” of pride and that that pride was wounded! Then, already that discovery made, well to work on pride, until turning it to dust. How lovely it is to know that one has anger when the spouse wounded him; then he can give himself the pleasure of working on the demon of anger!

So then, the “psychological gymnasium” of the home is extraordinary, and the one who wants to divorce because the “gymnasium” is hard, resembles the boy who does not want to go to school, who is sent to school and escapes elsewhere —here, in Mexico, we say that he “plays hooky”; I don’t know how they say it over there, in the country of Venezuela—.

  • Q. Generally, in our countries, when the woman is adulterous it is considered a cause of divorce, but the same is not specified when it is the male who commits adultery.

A. Well, man is number 1, woman number 2. I do not want to say that men can give themselves the luxury of committing adultery and that for that reason they will not pay Karma.

It happens that to be a woman is of tremendous responsibility. If a man commits adultery there, outside the home, he may even beget children, but his home will continue as always —unless he is a scoundrel—. But if a woman commits adultery outside the home, what happens? She will bring new children into the home, children who are not of her husband, and the marriage remains adulterated, like a medicine into which they put another different remedy and mix it. That medicine is adulterated…

  • Q. Master, what is the cause of that difference between man and woman?

A. Well, very clear: because man does not come with the skirt; the one who comes thus is woman, and that of her bringing to the husband other people’s little children, that she mix strange blood within her family, well that is very grave; it is an attack on the unity of the family. In contrast the man, well, if over there “he stuck the cream in,” he committed adultery and upon returning home he comes with the stomach or belly “like a lantern,” “stuck against the spine,” at most she will give him his plate of food and that’s it, nothing happened —unless they took away his virginity, and I do not believe any man has that problem—.

So that, then, in conclusion, adultery is more grave in woman. For that reason it is that precisely in the epoch of Moses, the women who committed adultery were stoned publicly; because they end a home, turn it to dust.

  • Q. And what type of Karma does a woman who commits the crime of adultery pass through?

A. Let us suppose that a woman, in a past existence, lived with a man and it turned out that, from one night to the next, she fell in love with another “fellow,” as we Mexicans say here. Then, what happens? She goes off with the guy, right? Very well, nothing happened. But in the new existence the two meet again, and she again sees her “little husband,” and the “little husband” her, and they again adore one another, but now the roles change; it turns out that the “little husband” is the one who leaves and she is left alone, paying Karma for the rest of her life… How about that?

  • Q. Venerable Master, what happens in the case of a man who lives with a woman and has, let us suppose, ten years without having sexual relation with her and who suddenly decides to seek another? In the contrary case, can the woman do the same?

A. Well, in this case… for that reason I tell you that for woman the responsibility is very grave. The man can give himself the luxury, after ten years of not having sexual relation with the woman —whether because the woman is sick, or well, for whatever reason— of considering himself single already; in fact, if he “enters” another woman, if he “takes up” with another woman, he commits no crime because he is single. The case of woman is different, unfortunately; they put it more gravely on her, because of that matter of bringing little children to the house, or simply because she is the basis of the home, because woman is the one who forms the home and if she commits adultery she perverts it, destroys it.

It is not only because of her, but because of the family. So that there is double responsibility. I consider you, who are women; frankly, I would not want to be in your skin. It is of double responsibility, I repeat. We men are different, because we are men, but woman is of more responsibility; that is, her responsibilities are greater.

  • Q. In case the man leaves the home, after the years have passed without having had sexual relation with the woman, can she take another male?

A. If the man has not left, she has no remedy but to respect him. Now, if the man leaves and ten years pass without sexual relation with him, she has freedom to take another man. That yes!, but now that the man has “taken off,” but that of the woman coming to “put” her good pair of “horns” on him, there on the forehead, that is not right.

Well, they tell me there a very interesting story. It happens that a man went there, to Hell, and met face to face with the Devil —they are street stories—. He says to him: “Sir, tell me, are you married?” The Devil answers him: “Insolent, daring! Don’t you see that I am the Devil?” “Well, sir, I asked you this question because as I am seeing horns on your forehead…”

They say that “marriage is not precisely the Horn of Plenty, but it is the plenty of horns.” Well, this is a bit of a joke, because we have here to chat delightfully, friendlily, without so much etiquette, like a family that we all are. We are all a family. Let’s see, ask, what is it that you are going to tell me?

  • Q. A gnostic marriage that transmutes its sexual energies, can it have a child?

A. Well, it is possible. To have a child one does not need so many millions of spermatozoa; a mature spermatozoon that escapes from the sexual glands of the male can fertilize a womb. It is possible that through transmutation, a little boy may turn up… You give him my greetings, you know?

  • Q. Can a man pass several years without having contact with his wife?

A. Normally, any “intellectual animal” cannot last so long, as you say. The surest thing is that he does not endure even a week. Only a gnostic who has no wife and who truly wants to follow the right path, can give himself the luxury of lasting up to years without having sexual contact, and I still put it in doubt, you know? That is not so, so easy; those “are not enchiladas.”

  • Q. Master, what can a woman do with a man who deceives her, who mistreats her, who goes off from time to time from the home and only returns to keep her always thus?

A. Well, that is a tyrant; that class of little men I do not recommend to anyone, you know?

  • Q. And if the male has another woman?

A. Well, there yes “you put it grave on me.” The only thing I think here, is that if the man leaves, if he has another woman and from time to time comes, like Count Dracula, to mistreat the poor “old woman,” there yes: “Out, young one!” There yes it is better to be alone!

Well, just a moment… And now that I have cited Count Dracula, I am going to tell you the following: truly, Count Dracula existed; he is not a fantasy of cinema; it was true. He was a mayor of that Russia of the czars. That man was a lightning bolt; he whipped the poor woman every day. Just as he knew that he had to have breakfast, he also knew that he had to whip her. Well, the curious thing of the case was that Count Dracula died; his body was taken to the pantheon, over there in old Saint Petersburg, which later was called Stalingrad, and after dead he came again to the house, to whip the poor woman —he gave her whippings terribly—.

She went and confessed with the “priest” and the whole matter… Then the “priests” —Bishops, Archbishops—, with crucifixes and a multitude of things, went to a bridge, because they knew that Count Dracula each time he came from the pantheon passed by that bridge… Well yes; at midnight they saw Count Dracula’s carriage; they situated themselves in the center of the bridge, valiantly, but the carriage ran them over, threw them to side and side…

Well, what happened? I am going to tell you —Be careful that one of you does not fall into the state of “trance” and I have to work on her, “until further orders!” Remain in a state of alert—. It turns out that, seeing it was impossible to end Count Dracula, the “priests” went to the pantheon, or cemetery, as you say over there, in Venezuela, and then took out the coffin. Within the coffin they found Count Dracula’s body completely preserved, and the coffin was full of blood —he fed himself with the blood of the poor people; at night he went out to feed on human blood—.

The feet were full of mud and showed perfectly that at night he went everywhere. The “priests” consulted well the texts of Magic, ancient “Grimoires,” and they drove a stake into his heart. That cadaver was “fixed,” the problem was definitively cancelled. From that fact, well, films have been made; all the films there are on Count Dracula come from that historical fact, which was historical in truth.

Another more serious case, in question of “vampirisms,” happened to a disciple of Apollonius of Tyana. That disciple said that “he was going to marry,” that “he already had a girlfriend.” He invited his Master to come to the feast, to the wedding, and certainly, that place shone full of light and poetry; the table services of that great dining room were all of gold and silver; porphyry and jacinth were seen everywhere; the servants came and went, attentive, serving the gentlemen and the ladies…

And then the disciple of Apollonius said to his Master: “Master, I have invited you to this feast because I am going to marry; this feast is, precisely, for the espousal. I am going to present my fiancée to you in a few moments. She is a Phoenician woman, very rich. You know, Master, that I am a very poor man, I would not have to obtain all those table services of gold and silver, and so many riches, but she does because she is very rich and comes from Phoenicia”… And he presented her to the Master.

The Master remained looking at her and said: “This is not a woman, this is a vampiress. She died many years ago and lives on human blood, and all this that you are seeing, all this dining room, all these riches, are pure mental crystallization, forms of the mind, and I am going to demonstrate it to you”… In moments when he spoke thus, in front of her, the woman remained looking at him —a woman of extraordinary beauty, dressed with sumptuous richness— and orders the servants to remove that man.

The Master takes a step back and grabs a glass and says: “This is only a form of the mind.” He concentrates on that form and turns it to dust; he concentrates on the table and turns it to dust; he concentrates on the servants and they disappear as by enchantment. When the woman saw all that, she threw herself at the feet of Apollonius of Tyana and said to him: “Master, have mercy; I do not deny it to you; I am a vampiress; what happens is that I was fattening this man to later eat him for lunch.”

The Master concentrated on that woman and the poor vampiress had no remedy but to enter the fourth vertical and disappear. And finally, of that house so sumptuous, of that rich palace of so much richness in goldsmithery, of purple, and of silk, and of gold, and of diamonds, nothing remained. That was only a stony place, full of dung. Seeing such marvels, the disciple of Apollonius had no remedy but to throw himself at the feet of his Master to give him thanks; he was saved as by enchantment; they were going to “eat him for lunch.” See you that type of vampiresses!

So, then, I tell you this to entertain you a little, because one has to speak of everything. Now continue with your little questions, to see what all this comes to…

  • Q. In Venezuela, in these days, they exhumed a lady who had been buried for some sixteen years —in Maracaibo— and she was whole, just as they buried her: with the dress in which she had been buried and all, all. The people, who said it was a miracle, buried her again. A few days later they exhumed her again and she was whole. What is that phenomenon due to?

A. Well, I am going to tell you: that is a very common case. Here we have, in Mexico precisely, the mummies of Guanajuato; a quantity of cadavers in which the process of decomposition has been stopped, which do not decompose due to certain chemical substances of the terrain, or to remedies they took before dying. That is what happens, but one thing is that and another thing is to be a vampire. The vampire walks with body of flesh and bone everywhere; he goes out at night, escapes from the sepulchers… In Jerusalem there is, precisely, an Order of Vampires who hide behind the title of “Immortal Masters,” and I don’t know what else. But they are vampires and that is all.

  • Q. What is the origin or the cause of vampirism?

A. Well, the origin of that phenomenon is in lesbianism and in homosexuality combined with negative Sexual Magic.

  • Q. How can one defend oneself from vampires?

A. What one must do is have garlic in the hand, to drive away the vampires. They are afraid of those garlics.

  • Q. I do not understand that well, Master…

A. Well, but let us not speak of vampirism; that does not turn out well, you know? Once I started to speak about vampires —there, with a group of friendly persons— and at night, in the astral, I met them. Well, it served me a little, because I could verify that vampiresses are lesbians and that vampires are homosexuals. I saw then some vampiresses who in fact attacked me, furious, since they hate men, as male vampires hate women. Ask me, then, about something else…

  • Q. Master, in an ancient Gnostic Ritual it is said that “there is a veil that is black, like darkness in the night,” and that that veil “is that of the modest woman”?

A. Because there are many very modest women, modest and modest, they remain modest all their lives; they do not marry because they are modest, and they continue modest until they age and disincarnate; and their veil is always somber; they never Self-realize. It is better that they get themselves a husband somewhere!

  • Q. There is a lady whose husband died and she is still young, but she does not want to marry out of respect for the deceased…

A. No: “The dead to the hole and the living to the loaf!”

  • Q. A lady who arrives at menopause, what does she transmute?

A. Her creative energy. She will not transmute hormones, because already, what hormones is she going to transmute? But she does transmute energy; the energy of the Third Logos. That she can transmute. So that, by the fact of a woman having reached menopause, it does not mean that she cannot work in the Ninth Sphere; she can, but, that yes!, she has to wait for that terrible menopause first to pass to continue with the work, because to work during menopause is very difficult. Don’t you see that all of them have disorders and suffer much, very much? The critical age of woman is frightful…

  • Q. V. M. Samael, the majority of modern doctors recommend contraceptive pills as medicament to regulate menstruation and also to avoid the strong menstrual cramps. They prescribe this, above all, to single woman. What is your opinion on this matter?

A. Contraceptive pills to cure menstrual cramps seems to me something completely empirical and absurd. In the name of truth, we have to say that people are unaware of pure science. That which they now call “Science,” is no more than a rotten pile of lamentable theories. I consider, then, that such artificial procedures in vogue, are harmful one hundred percent for human health. Menstrual cramps must be cured with more efficient means, not through contraceptive pills which serve no purpose.

The attitude is criminal of all those scientists of the Antichrist, who have invented the so-famous contraceptive pill, with all its consequences and derivatives. Obviously, all of you, women, have been victims of the Antichrist. Understand by Antichrist, false science, the so-loudly proclaimed “academy,” the ultramodernist scientism.

The famous contraceptive pill is not really necessary, in any way. Those who truly want to control a little the question of conception, let them work with the Arcanum A.Z.F.

  • Q. In the case of a woman who has regulated births through contraceptive pills and who afterward knows the gnostic teachings and wants to put them into practice, must she do something to detoxify the organism, or does Nature take care of it?

A. As to the intoxication that you have received with so much concoction advocated by the scientists of the Antichrist, you must leave everything to Nature. She will take care, certainly, of purifying the organism absolutely. We repeat: the system of contraceptive pills is not necessary in any way; it is criminal one hundred percent. Nature is very wise and has laws to control the excess of population. Remember that everything in Nature is subject to the Law of the Pendulum; that if today there exists demographic explosion, when our position changes —with the movement of the Pendulum—, we will remain at the other extreme and there will be, precisely, demographic descent, a minus.

There is, then, a plus and a minus, in this question of population. Every demographic Plus is controlled by the laws of Nature. When the human population is excessive, war and pestilence always come, or both things at once. The fact that at these precise moments there is demographic explosion, indicates, signals, the coming of war, of pestilence and of many other epidemics besides.

  • Q. If a woman has altered her normal sexual functions, whether by tubal ligation or with any other physical system; or whether, if a male, by having a vasectomy, what probabilities do they have in sexual transmutation? Could those persons create the higher existential bodies of the Being?

A. Above all the “availability to man” is needed. Take into account that the Sun is making a marvelous experiment in the test tube of Nature; it wants to create men. Well we know that the race of “humanoids” is necessary in order to be able to capture certain types and subtypes of cosmic energy, which then it transforms and retransmits to the previous layers of the planetary organism —sad situation that of the “humanoid,” no? — However, the Sun wants something more, and has placed within the sexual endocrine glands of the “humanoid,” the germs for man.

Such germs can develop if we cooperate. If we do not cooperate, the Sun’s experiment fails. During the first eight centuries of Christianity, many men were created, but in the Middle Ages the creations were very rare; and now they are even rarer. For man to exist, the germs for the Higher Existential Bodies of the Being, located in the sexual endocrine glands, must develop conveniently. Such germs could not develop if cooperation did not exist in us. It is also unquestionable that such germs could not develop in an unfavorable environment.

When glandular experiments are made, when the tubes are closed, when gland transplants are made or monkey glands are grafted into the organism, or something similar, the conditions do not turn out very happy, for the germs of man to develop in such organism. If we observe the ants, we can realize that in the past they were “humanoids”; but, unfortunately, the scientists who surfaced among that race of “humanoids,” dedicated themselves to harmful experiments: they removed glands, made transplants, closed tubes, etc., etc., etc., and as result, the germs for man could not develop in those creatures. Rather, these were little by little shrinking, their basic morphology altering, and today they are those creatures that we well know and that abound in all the corners of the Earth.

  • Q. To prevent cancer, official medicine uses a type of examination called “vaginal cytology.” How must woman act, in this sense?

A. In ancient times, when people were healthier, no one had such examinations. Obviously, these so-called examinations, are born only from the lust of the scientists, are subterfuges of the mind, invented by them; they are lubricious disorders; who could deny it? Of course, the Antichrist is very astute and all of them enjoy examining the sexual organs of women.

If cancer appears, well to cure it! There is nothing easier than to cure cancer. We have already seen how the “rattlesnake” has the power to make cancer disappear, radically, to the last degree. It is only a matter of removing the head from the snake, and the rattles too. The flesh is set to dry in the Sun and given to the sick in capsules, one every hour, until he heals. But, truly, it is certain that the rattlesnake is “very jealous”; whoever is submitted to the rattlesnake treatment, cannot even take a “Mejoral”; any adjunct, any remedy, however simple, is enough to destroy the curative labor of the rattlesnake. If the rattlesnake remedy is allowed to act without interferences, the result will be astonishing: the patient will heal.

So, then, the famous vaginal examinations serve no purpose; all those studies of vaginal cytoplasm serve no purpose, all those inventions of the ultramodern scientists…

  • Q. Master, what procedure or technique, during the Sahaja Maithuna, must the spouses follow to eliminate their “I-defects”?

A. The spouses must, during the chemical copulation, both ask for the disintegration of the same defect. It is lack of charity and of love that the husband be asking for the disintegration of this or that defect, and the companion be on her side asking for the death of another defect. It is precisely the power of the “androgyne,” formed by the couple in the sexual trance, that the Divine Mother Kundalini will use to incinerate this or that psychic aggregate. If the “electric fire” is directed by both spouses toward one same defect, the disintegration does not delay. I repeat: both spouses must implore for the same defect.

  • Q. Master, what do you think of abortion?

A. Abortion is a destruction of the work of Mother Nature, and well we know that the Goddess Mother Nature works creating organisms. Each of us carries her within ourselves, in our own psyche. It is she who unites the spermatozoon with the ovum; she is the one who elaborates the primitive germinal cell, with its 48 chromosomes; she is the one who gives the impulses for the genuine formation of the primitive germinal cell, and thanks to this the organism develops and becomes a creative archetype.

So then, truly, the Mother fights intensively to fix an organism, and when someone destroys her work, he commits a crime that in no way can pass unnoticed by the Great Law. It would be absurd that the Great Law would agree with this type of destruction, and naturally she severely sanctions everyone who destroys the work of Mother Nature. Therefore, abortion intentionally provoked is a homicide, sanctioned as such by the Great Law.

  • Q. When involuntary abortion occurs, can it be considered as Karma?

A. It is not always karmic, since many times an accident can provoke an abortion. It is karmic at times, as in the cases in which women begin to gestate a creature, and time and again fail in their attempts.

  • Q. In general lines, what consequences will the legalization of abortion bring to Humanity?

A. Since Humanity is dedicated to error, and abortion has been legalized —and is taken as a normal fact, already officialized—, this will bring a terrible Karma to the inhabitants of the Earth. It is clear that those who have not provoked abortions will not have anything to pay; but all that, in general, will influence in the great catastrophes that approach.

  • Q. What is the cause of the current political failure, so characteristic in modern governmental leaders?

A. This failed politics, used by modern leaders, has its roots in the sexual weakness of the same. It is well known that modern society is controlled by the “scoundrels of the intellect.” The “scoundrels of the intellect” are terribly fornicators, and all that is already demonstrated to satiety. A “scoundrel” is the mixture of intellectualism with the lack of spirituality, and the lack of spirituality occasions exorbitant lust, and since —I repeat— the world is governed by “scoundrels,” it is not strange that this happens.

So then, politicians, being weak, are governed by the Superman. Politicians, being weak sexually, are governed by the Conscious Circle of Solar Humanity that operates on the Higher Centers of the Being. Politicians come to be like “black pieces” that the Fraternity of the Inner Light manipulates. There exist white and black pieces, and the Fraternity of the Inner Light reinforces, at times, one piece or another, in accord with the Karma and Dharma of the nations…

  • Q. Venerable Master, the Hebrew Bible, referring to menstruation in woman, says the following —in (LEVITICUS 15:19): “When a woman has a flow of blood, and her flow is in her body, seven days she shall be set apart, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.” For his part, the author of “The Creative Energy” says that that ovulation or menstruation, contains the same substances as the Ens Seminis; that is to say: lecithin, phosphates, cholesterins and, in general, substances that serve to fortify the brain. Hence we ask you: Can menstruation be considered as fornication?

A. I want you to know, with complete clarity, that menstruation is never fornication; this is obvious. The Bible says that woman when she is menstruating, “is unclean,” not because of an ovum that she loses, but because the blood she expels, obviously, is charged with deleterious humors, from which many larvae can multiply. In any case, if any chaste male can eliminate a spermatozoon for fertilization, woman has the right to eliminate an ovum, and in this there is no crime or fornication. She does lose some vital principles in the eliminated blood, but scientifically she only expels an ovum that escapes from the Graafian Vesicle of the ovary. Let us not exaggerate, then.

If we were to say that for the motive of the woman losing a monthly ovum, she falls into fornication, it would be as absurd as to affirm that for the fact of a male eliminating a spermatozoon during a practice of Sexual Magic, he has also fallen into the same crime. Let us be judicious, let us reflect with serenity, let us look at things as they are and without exaggerations. Menstruation is not fornication!

  • Q. In the same order of ideas, we would like to ask you the following: can the monthly loss of an ovum be considered, equivalent to a pollution, as the author of “The Creative Energy” affirms?

A. It is absolutely false to say that menstruation is equivalent to a pollution. Anyone knows that in a nocturnal pollution, a male loses seven to eight million spermatozoa. In contrast, in a menstruation —caused by the loss of the monthly ovum— woman only loses one ovum. So that, mathematically, the author of the book “The Creative Energy,” in this is absolutely mistaken, because mathematics does not fail. And as to the chemical elements, like lecithin and others, it is evident that all are found in blood, but the blood eliminated by menstruation only conducts dead waste or chemical principles, already useless for the organism.

  • Q. Is it true that the male is more intelligent than woman?

A. Many women surpass man in intelligence. There exist brilliant women: H. P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, Mabel Collins, etc., were really more intelligent than many males who consider themselves “geniuses.”

  • Q. You have spoken to us, in your works, of reproduction by spores in primitive times. You affirm that those spores detached from the calves of the legs. Do the legs have something to do with sex?

A. There existed reproduction by budding in the Hyperborean epoch; spores that detached from the calves. However the hermaphrodite of flesh and bone, the Lemurian hermaphrodite, reproduced by gemmation. This hermaphrodite menstruated inside, in the interior of the organism. Such egg, after a certain time —as in birds— opened so that the new creature might be born. The latter fed itself with the Father-Mother.

Once human beings were separated into opposite sexes, menstruation continued in the feminine part, with the difference that now the egg was not fertilized by the organism that produced it. For the human race to continue, sexual cooperation was then needed, the chemical copulation. This separation into opposite sexes is symbolized in Genesis with that scene in which God takes a rib from Adam: that Eve of Hebrew mythology…

  • Q. Does Gnosticism consider virginity to be something very important?

A. That matter of the hymen, is grandiose! Virginity was always venerated by the great esoteric civilizations of ancient times. Unfortunately, in this decadent stage of the Kali-Yuga or Black Age, everything has changed. The “gringos” hate virginity; every girl who is born in the United States is operated on surgically to eliminate her virginity.

  • Q. What is the difference between the sexual impulse and the excess of erotic sensation, specifically in woman?

A. It is very natural that woman feel the sexual impulse. Another thing is the excess of erotic sensation. This signals, indicates, unbridled animal passion, bestial degeneration…

  • Q. What message would you give to the single woman?

A. The single woman must know how to wait. The Great Law, and the Father who is in secret, know better what suits us, and in their moment and hour they will give the single woman the husband she needs. For some reason we have been told that “Marriage and shroud, from heaven descend”…

  • Q. Both woman and man, can they advance equally on the path of Self-realization?

A. Woman can advance on the path, like any man. She attains the “Mastery” in the Fifth Initiation of Fire. Later advances are only possible through tremendous intimate super-efforts…

  • Q. When woman is gestating a child in her womb, must she suspend the practice of Sexual Magic?

A. The pregnant woman must wait until the creature is born, before reinitiating her works of sexual transmutation.

  • Q. Master, some students opine that children are an obstacle for the intimate Self-realization of the couple. They argue, for example, that in the Sacred History, nowhere is it mentioned that Jesus the Christ, for example, had children…

A. To be a mother is not a crime. Blessed the woman, born for the predestination! Children can never be an obstacle for the intimate Self-realization of the Being.

No one knows the private life of the Great Hierophant Jesus. It is unquestionable that He also was a complete man, in the integral sense of the word, and hence, it is evident that he knew how to be a father. No one knows the particular life of the Great Kabir Jesus. The Cosmic Drama that He represented, is not his particular human life, since such Drama is of Universal order. Many Masters also represented such Drama, in the past, and many will represent it in the future.

As a concrete example of how little is known about Jesus, we have that phrase he pronounced at Calvary: “Heli lamah zabactani.” Many, upon hearing it, thought that he was calling Elias, but in truth no one understood it, since it is evident that such phrase was not Hebrew, but Mayan. Any Mayan Indian of Guatemala or of Yucatan knows very well that the meaning of such phrase is the following: “Now, I sink myself in the pre-dawn of your presence.”

It is unquestionable that the ritual language of the Great Kabir, was Mayan. The Great Hierophant learned Mayan and Naga in the most ancient Tibet. In the Monastery of Hemis, in Leh, Kashmir —bordering Tibet— there exists a most ancient text that reads literally: “When Jesus left home, in his land, he first went to Egypt, and there studied the ancient Osirian-Mayan religion. From Egypt he passed to India, and in many cities, including Benares and Lahore, he studied the teachings of the Buddha Gautama. Then he entered the Monastery of the Himalaya, where he studied directly Mayan and its Cosmic Sciences. At the end of twelve years, he became a Master.”

In Palestine, Jesus, the Great Rabbi of Galilee, was an active member of the caste of the Essenes, who had their Gnostic Monastery on the shores of the Dead Sea. The Great Kabir Jesus reached the degrees of Perfect Master and Great Elect, working in the Lit Forge of Vulcan —it is not possible to Self-realize without the practice of the Sahaja Maithuna, the Sex-Yoga—.

  • Q. Did the Master Helena Petrovna Blavatsky have children?

A. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky did not have children because she married already very old to the aged Colonel Olcott. The first marriage of H.P.B. with Count Blavatsky does not count by the fact itself of not having led, with the cited gentleman, conjugal life…

  • Q. What opinion does the work titled “Isis Unveiled” written by the Master Helena Petrovna Blavatsky merit from you?

A. It is a good work; however the hour has come to “rend veils” and to deliver the Christic Esotericism, publicly…

  • Q. When woman reaches menopause, what can she transmute?

A. The sexual energy is not only in the ova, but also in the whole feminine sexual system…

  • Q. What is a “suvani”?

A. A “suvani” is a woman prepared for Sex-Yoga; the priestess-wife.

So, then, let us leave illusions; let us think of disintegrating the “Ego,” and once we have turned it to ash, the consciousness will awaken and we shall enter into contact with the Ineffable Beings. - Q.
